Josh Trank To Take On Shadow of the Colossus Movie

It appears a director has been found for the upcoming Shadow of the Colossus film, which has been in development for a while. Josh Trank, mostly known for 20th Century Fox’s Chronicle, will be taking on the directing role for the upcoming movie.

Why in bloody hell would Capcom release this EPIC Street Fighter Collector’s Set on September 18, the same day that Gearbox Software is releasing their EPIC Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest?

Are they TRYING to kill my wallet? At this rate, my wallet is going to be going through a drinking frenzy, then will probably pop a whole bunch of pills that only wallets are addicted to, and then finally, when my wallet hits rock bottom, he’ll use a wallet gun to blow out his monies(monies = brains in wallet terms).

Damn them!!

All joking aside, this is a pretty incredible Street Fighter CE. Honestly, I don’t much play Street Fighter anymore, but will always be a fan of the franchise and have great respect for what it has accomplished over these many years.

Also, Ryu is my all-time favorite SF character, and this entire CE is almost like a tribute to the greatest Street Fighter who ever lived. Almost. If it hadn’t been for that Ryu light up statue, the Ryu Martial Arts belt, and everything else in between, I may not have given it a second glance. Well, maybe.

Who’s buying this when it releases on Sept. 18? Actually, let me rephrase that; who’s wallet has the balls to fork over $150 for this EPIC CE? :-)

At $150 you get all of that…and at $100, you get everything but the replica loot chest, along with a few other things, but most importantly, you still get the Marcus Bobblehead. haha!

Worth it at $150? Honestly, the amount of items you get with the Ultimate Loot Chest, I would have to say that it’s a pretty good deal, considering I spent that amount on the Skyrim CE, and you don’t get as much stuff as you do with this Ultimate CE. Don’t get me wrong, a kick-ass replicate of the Alduin dragon perched up on a rock is pretty awesome. Plus, Alduin doubles as a weapon, ‘cause those talon’s are pretty damn sharp! Unsuspecting intruders—beware!

Being that Bungie now works under the umbrella that is Activision, wouldn’t it be fucked up if Bungie was pulled to work on a future Call of Duty title. Say if Activision tells Infinity Ward to fuck off once it’s contract is up because of legal squabbling and another game studio is needed to fill the void. Sure, it’s a one in a million chance of happening. The idea is sort of a twisted hell for both C.o.D. and Halo fanboys alike…. Which in my mind makes it all the more perfect. Anyway just saying it would be fucked up if Bungie made a C.o.D. game…

It’s actually CoD, not C.o.D., get it right. lol

And yes, Bungie should not even think of working on a future CoD game, even if it was asked of them, unless you want to see Spartans in the mix somewhere, fighting in a third world Country. lol

Plus, that just does not make sense at all. It’s not 1 in a million, it’s more like 1 in a trillion, as Activision would NEVER ask Bungie to make the next CoD game, not in a billion years. It would NEVER happen, not a snowballs chance in hell.

BUNGIE’S FIRST POST-HALO GAME REVEALED

Court documents from an Activision court case have outed the next project from Bungie, the studio that originally created Halo. According to an Activision contract made public as part of court proceedings in the upcoming Zampella/West trial, Bungie is currently developing four “sci-fantasy, action shooter games” code-named “Destiny.” Destiny games are set to come out beginning in the fall of 2013, followed by subsequent releases in fall of 2015, 2017 and 2019. In addition, Bungie has agreed to create four downloadable expansions known as “Comet,” which will release in fall of 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.

The first Destiny game will be available on Xbox 360 as well as “the next successor console platform released by Microsoft,” which the contract refers to as Xbox 720. While the first Destiny game will hit Xbox in fall of 2013, the contract states that it will hit PlayStation 3 in the fall of 2014 after a “joint technical feasibility analysis” that will determine whether the game “is able to be developed for the PS3 at quality and feature parity to the Xbox 360 version.” Releases of the Comet expansions will “be compatible with the Xbox 360, Xbox 720 and the Sony PlayStation 4.” A PC release is also mentioned.

Other details about Bungie’s contract were also revealed, including the studio’s royalty payments and bonuses. For example, Bungie will receive a $2.5 million bonus if the first Destiny receives an aggregate score of 90 or better on GameRankings.com. In addition, Bungie will be allowed to devote “no more than 5% of its staff” to a new version of Marathon, Bungie’s original shooter that debuted in the early 1990s.

While these are the first details revealed about Bungie’s contract, much of this information has been rumored in the past. After Bungie originally signed with Activision in early 2010, rumors of the Destiny codename began to emerge in February of 2011. Later, reports suggested that the game was code-named Tiger and that it would be a first-person MMO.

Activision and Bungie have not formally announced these games, and for now Destiny is only the project’s code name. Keep in mind that this contract was signed in April of 2010 and some of these details may have changed in the two years since. We’ve reached out to Activision and will update with any comment we receive.

I just hope Nintendo reveals the official name of their next-gen console(or keep it at Wii U…maybe) and also the price and release date, not to mention when we’ll be able to pre-order the system.
