Photos entered may come from the following sources:

• Editorial
• Commercial
• Personal
• Social Media (eg. Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

THE TASTE AWARDS: The Annual TASTE AWARDS celebrate the year’s best in food, fashion and lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, and on Radio. www.TheTasteAwards.com

GRAND PRIZES INCLUDE:

- Top Photographers qualify to receive a TASTE AWARD Medallion to honor their achievement

- On Exhibit at the Red Carpet Reception of the TASTE AWARDS

THE JURY

The jury, consisting of respected photography, visual arts and publishing professionals who represent each aspect of the photography publishing and exhibition process, will base its decisions on the images submitted and designate the First Place and Second Place winners. The consistency and innovativeness, as well as the technical ability, in which the image reflects the designated theme and category will be the main criteria of Finalist selection.

 ELIGIBILITY

The photo contest / art contest is open to all except TCB-Cafe Publishing or TasteTV staff and immediate family members, as well as the staff and immediate family members of the contest sponsors

Photography and art entries must be the original work of the Entrant. Entrant is solely responsible for obtaining necessary authorizations in order to submit their work to the Photography Competition (e.g. model release forms, etc). See TERMS. Payment must accompany every entry.

 SUBMISSIONS

In this Call for Entries, all image submissions to the Photography Competition should be in digital format (.jpg), and submitted online using a hyperlink where the Judge’s panel can view and review the Entry.  The link should be provided upon registration. The link should be for one image only, and not for a portfolio of images or site that requires a password.

Submitted work must have been created within the last four years.

Photographs are judged on an individual basis, and entrants can submit up to five individual photos to the competition. 

DEADLINE

All entries to the photo contest must be submitted by the deadline. Entries cannot be accepted afterwards unless the deadline is officially extended. Finalists will be announced in December / January.

Finalists will be posted on the Competition website. All entrants are required to check that website to determine status.

The Annual TASTE AWARDS takes place in February. (see awards site for more details)

The Single entry fee for the photo contest / art contest is good for Entry up to 3 images.

This TASTE AWARDS form is for NOMINATIONS of Television Programs, Films, Online and Streaming Video, in Apps, Podcasts and on Radio.

The TASTE AWARDS are the premier awards celebrating the year's best in Food, Fashion, and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, in Apps, and on Radio & Podcasts.

The Annual Awards have included appearances by stars, celebrities, producers and executives from networks and platforms such as the Food Network, the Style Network, Bravo, the Cooking Channel, Sony Pictures, DreamWorks, TLC, Discovery, Lifetime, E! Entertainment Television, PBS, APT, Create TV, NBC, ABC, the CW, HGTV, the Travel Channel, HD Net, Hulu, YouTube, Vimeo, Vice, LiveWell Network, Esquire Network, Bio/FYI Channel, iHeart Radio, HBO, MyxTV, Small Screen Network, StyleHaul, PTA, Zagat, Mode Media, WatchMojo, Amazon Prime, and more.

For the 13th Annual TASTE AWARDS, submissions that have original broadcasts or are publicly shown between October 2020 - October 2021 are eligible. Selected Award Winners will be announced in December 2021 and January 2022. The Awards are celebrated nationwide and in California in 2022.

- All nominations submitted should be accompagnied by the Entry Fee:

Entrants will be forwarded to the payment page after the nomination has been submitted. Nominations not submitted with an Entry Fee will not be reviewed by the Academy. (Regular entries and Duplicate entries are not be refundable)

- An Entry can be submitted in up to 4 different categories. Entries with more than four award categories selected will not be submitted for judges review. An additional Entry Form can be completed in order to submit a program in more than 4 different categories.
