All YRs are invited to join the ladies for some target practice... From the "Conservative Babes" group: ===== Practice your skill to shoot that Thanksgiving Turkey at Wade's Gun Range. Being that some of the Young Republicans have been asking about joining our sister group in the fun we have been having at Wade's, this month we are inviting the Young Republicans to join us in celebrating the blessing of the 2nd amendment the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Tuesday is Ladies night at the range, so ladies are charged a 1/2 price lane fee and get free gun rentals (you can also bring your gun and ammo if you want). If you want to rent a Free gun, you have to use Wades ammo. Note: Ammunition used at Wade's range MUST be brass and semi or full metal jacket. NO STEEL OR ALUMINUM CASED AMMO. Please note if this is your 1st time shooting in your RSVP, or if you are inexperienced. The staff members at Wade's can show you what you need to know before you start shooting in a matter of 5-10 minutes, and they are very helpful during the range time, too. Also, please note if you want to shoot something other than a handgun. If you arrive late, you can just ask at the Gun Range desk for the "Conservative Babes" group. Join the YRs for the 4th annual trip to Leavenworth! We will be attending the Bavarian Ice Festival on January 16th, 2010. Though the festival is only one day, we will be there all weekend, January 15th-18th. You are invited to join the fun! Activities: * Smooshing (curious?) * Tug of War on Snow * Wine Tasting * Snow Sculpting * Inner-tubing If there is one social event to attend this year, this is it! Join us as we make our 4th Annual trip to Leavenworth Bavarian Ice Festival. This year we rented a condo near downtown with wonderful amenities, including hot tub, sauna, 62” flat screen tv, kitchens and games.
