Seattle's own Evergreen Washelli is holding its 86th Annual Memorial Day Service.  Help us to honour our fallen heroes at this lovely, peaceful place.  The concert begins at 1:30pm and the ceremony will commence at 2:00pm.  Enjoy the outdoor service, and then, if you choose, take part in a guided tour of the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  Six Medal of Honor recipients are buried here, and you can learn more about their lives and service to our country.  Enjoy music from the carillon tower, and perhaps stop to pay respects to relatives of some of our very own YR members.

The service and concert are free;  suggestion donation of $5 for the guided tour.

After the service, feel free to find a local eatery with the YRs or relax on your own time.  Don't forget to join us again in the evening for a bonfire at Golden Gardens (separate event listed).

On Memorial Day, YRs will be attending the 1:30 service at Evergreen Washelli. Even if you can't make the afternoon event, please join us for an evening bonfire at Golden Gardens Park in Ballard!

Bring a roastable item, snack food, and / or drinks to share. Casual location, nice sandy beach, and interesting neighbors guaranteed. If you have camp chairs, tote those along, too. Instruments welcome. Possible sing-a-long may ensue. It gets chilly by the water, so consider some layers or perhaps a blanket. This is always a memorable event!

Join other YRs and the conservative-minded in the area for our monthly assembly meeting in Bellevue.  Meetings typically feature speakers of interest, including relevant topics and current events.  It's also a great time to catch up on club news, both recent and upcoming events, vote on club business, and touch base with your fellow local conservatives.
