Crave: Part One left me with so many different feelings. Mixed feelings. Confused feelings. This is one of those books that I didn't love, but didn't hate either. There were some pretty compelling aspects of this book that definitely intrigued me and left me wanting more. Then there were other parts that seemed so unbelievable to me. I loved that EK Blair used dual POVs with this story. I was better able to understand Kason and Adaline a little better. And believe me, if I wasn't able to see and feel what was going on with Kason, I would have probably disliked him so much for what he did. Don't get me wrong, what he did was still completely wrong to me. But reading from his POV, I know why he did what he did. What was going through his head at the moment.

This book also focuses on a unique topic that I haven't read about in another book yet. A closer look into the addiction Kason suffers from. I really felt for him. He was suffering so much and in constant pain. Not understanding what was going on with him. Adaline tried in a very subtle way to explain and show what he could possibly be suffering from. Kason didn't believe it. Won't believe it. And Adaline didn't do anything but support him on it. That kinda bugged me. So many things bugged me with this. I wished Adaline had a little more backbone and pushed this topic a little more, because Kason obviously needs help. But what really through me was how easily she forgave him for what he did. She was just too nice.

I felt so sorry for Kason. He has suffered so much and never had anyone that gave him the comfort and love that he needed. Kason was a loner and took care of himself on his own. I was shocked to learn what he went through. And I came to understand why he is the way he is. This guy has had a rough life. I loved his mother, but she had to work so much that she was never there for him the way he needed her to be. I really wanted to reach in and give him a hug, because he seriously needed it. I am hoping things change for this fella, because he really is a nice guy.

Adaline is the nicest most forgiving person ever. But she knows who she is supposed to be with so she supports him with everything she has. I loved her relationship with Micah and how close they became friends. I also loved her relationship with her mother and how both of these ladies always included Kason in everything. They didn't care about his background. They just cared about who he was on the inside. And I loved that. I really felt sorry for Adaline with what happened to her realtionshp with her dad.

I know that this book mostly took place when they were in high school, but some of their reactions weren't believable to me and the story seemed to move at a very fast pace. I would have loved to have seen those in between moments. Even the love story between the Kason and Adaline was instant. But this book was one of those books that I had to see what happened next. I had to see what was gonna happen with this couple.

Even though I didn't love this book, I still really enjoyed it. I didn't see that ending coming until the very end. And yes! There is a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see what happens next! When Part Two releases, I will definitely be buying the book to read. Crave: Part One was a unique story in its own way. I can't wait to see what happens next with Adaline and Kason. I am hoping to see more of Micah and Trent. I fell in love with those two guys especially Micah. If you all are wanting something unique and different, then definitely read this book!.

I loved, loved, loved this book so much!! Adored it!! This book was so much more than I ever expected. Memories of Me is beautifully written and filled with so much passion and love. It was intense and very raw. Everything felt so real to me. I fell in love with the characters in this amazing book. They grew so much by the end of the story. I loved how multi-dimensional the characters were. This story was woven together into a perfect masterpiece, and I loved being there to see how it all unraveled. There wasn't anything I didn't like about this story. It was absolutely perfect. Full of suspense, heart-break, love, loss and passion.

Freckles woke up in a hospital not remembering anything that had an emotional attachment. Not having anywhere to go, Grady claims her and takes her to his other place to stay. While staying there she meets Brandt and instantly feels the butterflies. There is immediate chemistry with these two. She tries to learn who she is and why she did what she did. When Freckles learns her name is Baylor, she remembers everything. The question is who is Baylor? Why did she only lose memories that were emotional to her?

I fell in love with Brandt. He is the absolute perfect boyfriend. He was always there slowly showing Freckles the way. This man was so supportive and loving. When Freckles woke up and they met at Grady's place, Brandt and Freckles had an instant connection. It was love at first sight for them. Or was it?

I also fell in love with Grady. I wanted to reach in and hug this man. He also lost everyone he loved and it was very hard for him to deal with. With Brandt and Baylor together, he wants what they have. And the reminders are always there with Baylor. I understood all the reasons he had on leaving Baylor and Brandt. He really did need to heal on his own.

I fell in love with Baylor, Grady and Brandt. I was constantly wondering who Baylor was to these two brothers. I had my ideas, but I couldn't be sure. These three barely survived the traumatic incidence that took everyone they loved. They question why they were alive when they should have been dead too. Grady, Baylor and Brandt suffer so much. And they suffer in their own way. Brandt tried to be the strong one and take care of the two most important people in his life. Grady drowned himself in alcohol. After another loss, Baylor does the only thing she can do to get away from the pain.

What these characters faced was truly horrific and heart-breaking. I felt as if I was right there with them. Once I started this story, I was immediately pulled in. I couldn't put this book. It was mind-blowingly epic!!! Have the tissues ready for this one.

I was very shocked at the beginning with how this book went in the love interest aspect. Since she met Grady first, I immediately thought she was going to end up with Grady. But this book completely changed directions and went another way. It took me completely by surprise.

Memories of Me was an enthralling read that left me feeling so many emotions. This epic love story pulled so many heart-strings. The end of this story definitely left me wanting more. I want to see more of Brandt and Baylor, but I need Grady's story!! I am really hoping I get to read more about him!!! Loved where it was heading at the end with him. This will definitely not be the last book I read by Dani Hart!!! I highly recommend this book!!! Memories of Me is a MUST read!!!

Author Bio

I have always been drawn to words. They have this magic to

touch my soul when I need it the most, whether through reading or writing. My

love for writing started as most little girl's with a diary. It evolved into a

big girl journal and then transformed into a notebook of poetry during the dark

days of high school. I followed my dream to USC (University of Southern

California) to study theatre, creative writing, and screenwriting. Finally, I

understood how to take the stories in my head and commit them to paper. I was

I was really, really hoping that I would love this book more than I did. The cover is phenomenal and the synopsis is intriguing. I had to read this book once I found out it was about gangsters/mafia. There were parts of this book that I loved, and then there were the parts that I didn't love. Basically, I didn't love this book, but I didn't hate it either.

I was immediately drawn into the story. I fell in love with Grace and Thaddeus from the very beginning. I really like how dark and twisty this book is. Well, I should say how dark and twisty Thaddeus is. No wonder he got the name Joker.

Grace is a strong willed woman who in the eyes of Thaddeus was completely pure. She attracted his attention by not being afraid of him. But, she should be very afraid. Thaddeus was completely different around her than he was around everyone else. She brought that out in him. Grace made him smile when no one else ever could. But, I didn't like how she turned her head at everything he did. She knew who he was and what he could do. What he has done. She ignored it. Acted like none of it happened. I don't see someone like Grace doing that.

Thaddeus was an alpha male. Mysterious, sexy, sinful and just flat out dangerous. I loved the mysteriousness about him. He would do things that I didn't expect and completely shock me. But, I loved how much he adored Grace. How protective he was over her. But, he was a criminal. And has done some very bad things. How could he get sweet, innocent Grace to become his? To live the way he lives? The Joker would stop at nothing to make that happen.

I was completely enthralled with this story from the very beginning. But as the story progressed, it started to feel very rushed. Everything started happening too quickly. Grace didn't seem like the same person she was at the very beginning. She didn't seem strong willed anymore, and I loved that about her. I was also waiting for the big moment to happen at the end, and nothing huge happened. I was left very disappointed with that. There wasn't really a cliffhanger as well. When the story ended, it felt like it stopped right in the middle of the story. It just ended without that big moment. Yes, there was a little shocker at the end, but it didn't feel as if the story should have stopped there. I needed something more.

I really enjoyed reading Gangster. It is full of passion, action and drama. This book really made me question my morals!! That is what I loved about this story. I really like Thaddeus and I was rooting for him and Grace, but he does awful things. I could not put this book down once I started. The little shocker at end definitely left me wanting to see what happens next. It took me completely by surprise. I will definitely be reading the next book to see where Sapphire Knight takes it.

WOW! Just wow!! The conclusion for the Finding Me duet was absolutely perfect! Found Underneath was a captivating read from start to finish. I could not put this book down once I started it. It was edgy and sexy as sin. It took me on an unforgettable journey full of romance, mystery, suspense and secrets. This book was flat out HOT! K.L. Kreig knows how to write those steamy scenes with lovers. She makes it where you feel so many emotions, because her writing is magic and it completely pulls you in for the ride.

Character development was spot on! Each character grew and changed in someway throughout this book/duet. And that is what I loved most about this book. The characters. I fell in love with every single one of them. Even the supporting characters took a piece of my heart. What they went through was so realistic that my heartstrings were constantly pulled. Everything felt so real and raw. I was able to connect and relate with these characters in so many different ways.

Willow is a strong and vulnerable woman. After what happened to her father and sister, and her mother's sickness, she has closed herself off. Put a steel wall around her heart. She wants desperately to let Shaw in, but she constantly questions the trust between them. They did get together in an unorthodox way so that is constantly sitting in the back of her head. What happens once the contract ends? I felt her pain and struggles. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Very compassionate. She is always there when someone needs her even though it is tough for her. I loved how she was there for Annabelle when Annabelle needed her.

Shaw is a force to be reckoned with. Geesh! This guy is so dominating and sexy as sin. Powerful. Shaw has changed so much! He never did relationships and never thought the love he has for Willow existed. He didn't know what he was looking for until Willow came into his life. Now his heart is full of love and compassion for a woman he never seen coming. But, now he lives in fear. Fear of losing the one person that lights up his heart. If his sister did have something to do with Charles Blackwell's death, then he could possibly lose Willow and Annabelle all at the same time. I loved seeing his protective and nurturing side. Even his jealousy came out several times!

Annabelle really grew on me throughout this book. She has changed so much! And with the second chance that she has been given, she decided to take her life into her own hands and get help. I am really hoping to see more of her! Noah has become one of my favorite characters!!! I love this man so much!! I definitely want to see more of him!!! Really hoping he gets his story! Deep down, I think he wants what Shaw and Willow has. I love the connection that he and Sierra have. Their times together are absolutely hilarious! Reid was a character that I had mixed feelings for. I felt so sorry for him, but he did some things he really shouldn't have. But, I understand why he did it. He was fighting for the one he loved.

I loved Willow and Shaw's relationship. It was as if they were made for each other. Willow always had something snarky to say back to him, and he loved it. These two brought out the best in each other. But, they both had something to fear. Even though Shaw has never been in love like this before, he realizes his fear is nothing compared to Willow's. That she is her own worst enemy. That he has to fight her for her heart. Even though something was always there threatening to demolish their relationship, they both fought hard to keep a hold of each other's hand.

Found Underneath was beautifully written story that definitely left me wanting more. Even though this is a duet, I am hoping that K.L. Kreig will bring back some of these characters and create a story of their own. I fell in love with these characters in Lost in Between, but fell even harder for them in Found Underneath. I want more!! This book had a lot of angst and suspense. So many twists and secrets. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved how everything came together though. And that ending! Wow! Didn't suspect that with Randi! I highly recommend this book/duet!! It is a definite reread for me!!

Plight is the first book that I have read from K.M. Golland! Once I read the synopsis, I knew I had to read this book! I was instantly intrigued, and in love with the cover. Plight is a fun, romantic story full of laughter and witty banter.

Danielle was a character full of love and fear. She had one rule and one rule only. Never sleep with friends. She had learned that lesson more than once. When Elliot pops back into her life out of no where, that rule becomes very hard for her to follow. But boy, does she try. When Elliot first contacted her, it was completely in an unorthodox way. I could understand why she was creeped out by him. But seeing each other for the first time, sparks flew. Memories came. She missed the friendship she had with her best friend.

Elliot hasn't seen Danielle in seventeen years. With the the gardening project coming up, he needed Danielle's help. Feelings hit Elliot so hard when he saw her again. Feelings from his past came back. He made a vow to himself that he wasn't going to lose her again. He was a force to be reckoned with. Danielle tried to fight him, but even she couldn't do it. I really loved Elliot. He hasn't been able to give his heart out to anyone, because Danielle always had it. But, Elliot lives with regret and a lot of pain. He really needed to forgive himself, but I felt like I never did see or feel that he did. And that was something that needed to be worked out before they could work on their relationship.

Elliot made a huge mistake. Said something to their mothers that he couldn't take back. It would literally crush their hearts. So a game was being played. I loved both of their mothers!! They were so hilarious! I laughed so many times due to them. They would know everything about Danielle and Elliot somehow.

I enjoyed this story, but a few things felt a little off to me. This story was very fast-paced. I had trouble connecting with Danielle and Elliot, because I felt as if I didn't know them. Their relationship even moved so fast. I also felt as if I was left with a lot of unanswered questions. Situations not resolved. Even the ending through me for a loop. After what they have went through, they just immediately get back together under the tree. Nothing was worked out. With Danielle I was waiting on her to discuss her fears and what was going on. Same with him. Nope. Nothing was discussed at all. They had a huge breakup and immediately got back together. That was just so unbelievable to me. I wanted to see and feel more.

Plight is a story about two childhood best friends who find their way back to each other. And that is what really caught my attention with this story. Even though I wanted to love and connect with it more than I did, I still enjoyed it. I will be checking out K.M. Golland's other books!!

Since I’m single though, when my best friend and her husband finally decide to go on their dream honeymoon, she asks me to watch their three-year-old son.

Of course I say yes.

What my best friend neglects to tell me is that I won’t be babysitting alone.

Feeling Max might be too much for me to handle, her husband asks his only single friend to help.

Nick Carrington and I have met a couple of dozen times. I’ve never really given him a second thought—other than to say he’s kind of a jerk. Out loud. So he can hear. Sure, he’s tall, dark, and handsome. And yes, he has the best ass I’ve ever seen, and I mean ever seen quite literally. You see he mooned me at last year’s Fourth of July barbecue because, like I said, he’s a jerk.

He always has to be the life of the party.

He’s also arrogant.

Imposing.

Rich.

And a playboy.

I’d even go as far as to say he’s a manwhore.

Yet somehow before I know it, this manwhore and I are co-parenting. Living under the same roof. Eating meals together and yes, talking.

Don’t look at me like that—it’s not like I had a choice.

Even though I knew every minute would be hell, I had to say yes.

But after two weeks what I didn’t expect is that I’d been wrong about him.

That under his smart-ass exterior, he’s quite charming.

That his arrogance is actually confidence.

And that the sight of his naked body would do really bad things to me.

So yes, I’ve misjudged him. And yes, I like him. Really like him. Although there are times I still think he’s a jerk…I now think he’s a sexy jerk.

And I want more of him.

The question is—does he want more of me?

Sexy Jerk was a fun, steamy read with a lot of edge. I love this world that Kim Karr created. Once I started this book, I could not put it down. Tess and Nick completely stole my heart. I was completely hooked! This story was written with dual POVs. I was able to connect more with Tess and Nick being inside both of their heads. The character development was spot on. Tess and Nick both grew so much throughout the story. Both characters were multi-faceted and I loved that. There was so much more with these two that they kept hidden. Who they really were and what they liked.

I fell in love with Tess. She seems to have so much going on and was just completely struggling. With everything. She didn't know who she was anymore. Going through a break-up that left her devastated, Tess struggles with finding out who she really is. She realizes that she changed into who Ansel wanted her to be. Tess did not like Nick at all. She was always calling him names. Jerk being the most common. With Nick being there, she finally started to open up and become herself again. Her kinky side started to come back out! Her family really messed her up over that. After what her mom and dad did to her, she always questioned what type of person she was. But Tess never gave up! She was so stubborn and never backed down. She grew so much and I loved seeing the real Tess that came out.

There was something so magnetic about Nick. He drew you in without even meaning to. I fell in love with this man. He is sexy as sin! Flat out hot! And that smirk of his!!! Just wow! Nick doesn't let women into his heart after what happened to his mother. That is until Tess came into the picture. His feelings slowly grew for her the more time they spent together. He didn't delve into what those feelings meant since he was afraid. What happened to make him so afraid? There is so much more to Nick than meets the eye. He lets people think he is a horrible person, but really he is a sweetheart. I loved seeing the soft and protective side of Nick.

The supporting characters in this book were some of my favorite. I loved Fiona, Ethan and Jace. They were always there when Nick and Tess needed them. They had struggles as well that they were facing and I loved seeing the dynamics change for them as well. I also started to fall in love with the people that Nick works with. Would love to see more of Ash and Hayden as well. There was just something about them that drew me in. Wanting to know more.

I loved that this was an enemies-to-lovers story. The witty banter between these two was perfect. It was hilarious how they talked to each other. Nick and Tess were perfect for each other only they didn't know it. Made for each other it seemed. I loved see their relationship evolve. These two completely bring each other back. To the real Nick and Tess. It was so sweet! They had some very hot and steamy scenes together. The chemistry between Nick and Tess was off the charts.

I loved the epilogue at the end so much!! I wanted so much more though!! Nick and Tess mentioned wanting a family and since they were so good with Max, I would have loved to have seen that. The story ended a little abruptly for me. I wanted to see more of all went down with the bad guy. I just loved this story so much that I wanted to see more!

Sexy Jerk was a captivating read that definitely left me wanting more. The romance in this story was beautifully done. It was just one of those romances that left me feeling happy. Put a smile on my face. I can't wait to see where Kim Karr takes us in Big Shot which is Jace's story!!!

“I don’t watch TV at night…” Her voice drifts off, and I know it’s because she realizes I’m going to ask why.

And I do.

“You're going to laugh.”

“Probably.”

“It's because I can't hear things.”

“What kinds of things are you trying to hear?”

“I don't know. Strange noises and things…”

“Strange noises?”

“Do I need to spell it out for you?” She’s trying to sound annoyed, but I can hear the smile in her voice.

“Apparently, because I have no idea what you're talking about. What kinds of strange noises are you going to hear? I usually turn my TV up to block out all the strange sounds like the neighbor’s kids and the lady behind me that sounds like Fran fucking Drescher.”

“You know who Fran Drescher is?”

“My mother was a big fan of that stupid show she was in. Stop changing the subject. What are you listening for? Hayden won’t sneak out.”

“What if someone breaks in?”

“You're not serious.”

“Of course I'm serious!”

“What do you do all night?” I ask.

“Work,” she admits. “Well, usually I clean, and then I work.”

“I’m coming over.”

“You can’t.”

The panic in her voice doesn’t make her sound upset about the idea, but afraid.

Is it because she likes me?

“Why not?” I ask.

“It’s like nine o'clock.”

“Are you about to turn orange and sprout a stem?”

“That and I'm not wearing a bra, if you must know.”

“So put it back on.”

“You don't understand. That's like saying put your jeans back on.”

“I am in jeans,” I lie just to get a reaction out of her.

“What is wrong with you?” she cries.

“What's wrong with jeans?”

“They're stiff and uncomfortable. Wearing jeans all day is basically equivalent to walking on sandpaper. But at least you guys have pockets that will actually hold something larger than a thimble and don’t ride up your ass.”

Just a Little Junk was a fun and quirky read that definitely surprised me. This story is so unique and that is what I love the most about it. I haven't read another book like it. It is very imaginative and Stylo Fantome is ingenious enough to craft these wonderful and exciting plots and characters we all fall in love with.

Archer and Jo have been friends forever. Jo wakes up one morning after partying with her friends and finds a dead body in her trunk. She can't remember hardly anything from the night before so she goes to Archer for help. These best friends sure stick together through thick and thin. Archer helped her retrace her steps to figure out what had happened and how the body ended up in her trunk.

I really liked Jo! Sometimes she did get on my nerves, but I still liked her. She was a nice woman who was just trying to make ends meet. She had a horrible job and lived in a terrible apartment. But, she lived beside her best friend so she couldn't beat that. Finding a body turned her world upside down. She had no clue what happened and if it was her doing. She was dropped from windows, shot at and kidnapped. Jo kicked some major butt. She was no damsel in distress. She watched and learned things and used what she learned to protect herself.

Archer was the best friend of Jo's brother. He was off limits to her. But her brother moved, letting Jo and Archer become close. Archer has always been there to watch over Jo. Take care of things for her that needed taken care of. Protected her. He was a true friend and always there when she needed him. I fell in love with Archer! But boy oh boy! This man sure kept a lot secrets from Jo, and I don't blame her on the way she reacted.

I was really rooting for Jo and Archer since the beginning, but I felt like I was missing something with them. They both have always had feelings for each other, but I really wanted to feel it. All the scenes that they were together and showed their feelings, they were either high or drunk it seemed. I really wanted to see their true love and connection. The ending kinda left me a little disappointed with that. I wanted to see more of these two after everything happened. These two were such great friends and they made more bad decisions than good.

This book was so hilarious!!! I had so many laugh out loud and OMG moments. There are so many twists and turns in this book that I did not see coming at all. The last half of the book was AMAZING!!! Flat out mind-blowing!!! EPIC!!!!

Just a Little Junk was a fantastic read full of surprises and monumental shockers. This book was full of suspense, hot and steamy scenes, witty banter and nonstop action. This book has everything in it! You wouldn't expect what Stylo Fantome put in this book!!! And the cover fits the book perfectly!! Love the cover!!! This is a book that everyone will want to read!!! I highly recommend it!!!

Wow! This book was not what I was expecting at all!! Curveball is the first book that I have read by Mariah Dietz, and it won't be the last! This story took me on an emotional journey through several twists and turns that left me completely shell-shocked! This story was very unique to me. I haven't read anything like it.

Ella is a single mother who loves her son, Hayden, something fierce. Being a single mother, Ella faces constant fears. She hardly ever sleeps for fear of someone breaking in or sneaking in her son's window. Hayden suffers from a severe peanut allergy and has had several bad allergic reactions. I don't know how Ella got through that the way she did. She was strong for her son. Ella has a job that she loves and is great at. She works all the time though, because she has to be the best at it. Ella is a perfectionist and her son takes after her in that. I love her relationship with her son. She always puts her son first and I love her because of that.

Coen is an awesome firefighter with medic training. He has one rule and that is not to date his neighbors. He has had some bad experiences with that. Meeting Ella, there was a huge connection right off the bat. But they both pretty much ignored it. Coen adored Hayden so much. I loved how he became a father figure in Hayden's life, teaching him baseball and just being there for him. I adored this man so much. He literally made me swoon. He is the absolute perfect boyfriend.

I loved seeing Coen and Ella slowly become friends. The chemistry built the more they hung out together. They got to be themselves with each other and that made their relationship so comfortable.

I loved how everything turned out, but I was kinda disappointed with how the story ended. The story ended abruptly for me. Seemed a little rushed at the end. I wanted more time of those two together. I was a little confused with the epilogue as well. I had to read it twice and I am still guessing on where they ended up. Wanted more information on Rachel as well.

Curveball was an amazing read that instantly pulled me in!!! I could not put this book down once I started it. The character development was spot on. Each character grew in some way by the end of the book. I loved that the characters felt so real and raw. What they faced every day, is something that we all face everyday. There were some twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. Then bang there was a huge twist that I didn't see coming at all!! That left me completely speechless!! I was in awe for a moment. This book is a MUST read everyone!!!

Burn Before Reading is the first book I have read from Sara Wolf, and I absolutely loved it!! I will definitely be checking out her other books!!! I am huge fan of YA!!! When I heard about this book, I had to check it out. I was instantly intrigued with the synopsis. The cover is also unique!! This book I had to read!! I was not disappointed in the least. This book was so unlike others that I have read, and that gave it huge bonus points from me. The uniqueness of this book makes it even more special.

Bee is a beautiful person inside and out. When the Blackthorn brothers were issuing their red cards, she was always there facing off with the brothers and defending those that needed it. She was very tough and yet sensitive. She always put others before herself. She gave up her dreams to go to a school that would get her into an expensive school to help her father. That was her main goal. But the Blackthorn brothers made it very hard on her. With Wolf threatening to take away her scholarship, she in turn does something that does not make her very happy. She makes a deal with the devil.

Wolf is a very passionate character. There are many layers to Wolf. He loves with his whole heart. But, what appears to be isn't with Wolf. Gosh, I thought he was such a jerk at the beginning of the book. But, he has his reasons for what he did and they were noble reasons. Wolf was so stubborn though. I loved the tension between him and Bee. They wanted each other one minute then appeared they hated each other the next. The banter and fights were hilarious!! Wolf was hurt so bad in the past. His feelings for Bee he constantly fought because of this.

I fell in love with all three of the Blackthorn brothers. I really, really want to see more of Wolf and Bee!! The story ended so quickly for me. I didn't get to see any of them together at the end after everything went down. Well, I got to see a second it felt like, but I wanted more. Burn and Fitz I fell in love with as well. Each brother is so different. And all three have struggled and coped in different ways. After one mistake with Fitz's drinking and drugs he never looked back. That one horrible mistake completely haunts him. Burn was never there when his brothers needed him, but he ends up doing the unthinkable when it counts most. I feel so bad that he had to make that decision and the sacrifice he had to make, but I believe it will all work out for him. I am really hoping we get more of Burn and Fitz as well. I am wanting to see what happened to these characters after everything went down. Did everything turn out they way they planned?

The family dynamics really intrigued me. Bee had the perfect family until her father got sick. Suffering from depression put a strain on her family and on Bee alone. Bee was constantly worried that her dad would end up hurting himself. I couldn't imagine living that every day. The constant worry. But, Bee is tough and brave. She took care of her father since her mother was never home. The Blackthorn brothers had it tough as well. Their father was just absolutely horrible. He had everyone fooled. Those poor boys have suffered with him ever since their mom died. Father Blackthorn couldn't even accept Wolf for he truly was. He couldn't accept any of his kids.

Burn Before Reading was an enthralling read that made me feel so many feels. I loved everything about this book. I felt the pain, the love and the devastation. This book was so real and raw. I wanted to reach in to hold and hug these characters. This story has really touched my heart. It was simply beautiful and unforgettable. This book is a MUST read!!

You know me, paper-and-pen. You know I absolutely despise people who have it easy. And the Blackthorns had it so easy. They were rich. They were gorgeous. And everyone liked them. They lived charmed lives.

Or so I thought at the time.

Anyway, it wasn't the fact everyone stared at them constantly and would stare at them for the rest of eternity until they left the room that pissed me off. It was the fact they never seemed to care about the attention.

There was Bernard, or Burn, for short. Taller than his brothers by at least a head, he was the oldest of three - a senior. His green eyes were always heavy-lidded, like he was perpetually on the verge of falling asleep, though he had the same dark, thick lashes as his brothers and high cheekbones. I knew he was on the Varsity basketball team, and was the whole reason Lakecrest went to states for four years. He didn't talk much, but he didn't need to. With his height and width, he was more than a little intimidating. Some people called him 'the bear', half-jokingly, half-terrified. Now that I think about it, he was definitely most of the reason people gave the Blackthorn brothers such a wide berth, physically speaking.

The second brother was Fitzwilliam - Fitz, to everyone outside his family. Aside from the fact their mother was clearly on a big Victorian England trip when she named her sons, he was the most likable. And by 'likable' I mean he deigned to acknowledge people. Sometimes. If they were pretty enough for his tastes. He grinned more than the other two brothers. Once, he even winked at a girl, and the poor thing dropped her textbooks on her foot and she limped for a whole week straight with a dumbstruck smile on her face. The teachers and staff at Lakecrest were just as susceptible to his charms - he had a way with a smile and a compliment that got even Mr. Nomsky, the grizzled old English teacher, to soften up. Fitz was part of the computer science club, though I'd heard from the other members he never attended a single after-school meeting.

Fitz had wavy hair like golden lace, neatly slicked-back, and the same green eyes as Burn, but with a friendlier edge to them. He was the only one with freckles on his nose, and he wore his uniform like it was a casual toga - his tie-half loose and his jacket slung over his shoulders. He was the baby of the three, and it showed in the way he never took anything seriously. I had three classes with him, since he was a sophomore, too, and not once did I see him pick up his pencil or try to read the textbook. And strangely enough, the teachers never harped on him to do it, either. I chalked it up to the general unfairness of wealth until I saw his test results; nothing lower than 98% on every single test. And here I was, busting my ass from the time I got home from school till midnight just to make an 80% in one of the most strict, college-oriented curriculums in the country. Needless to say, I hated him. Still do, actually, but back then I hated him without knowing him.

And finally, we came to the grand emperor of all evil - Wolfgang himself. He didn't always walk in-between the other two, but he seemed to like to, as if they were his personal gargoyles instead of his brothers. Taller than Fitz, but a hair's shorter than Burn, Wolfgang - or Wolf for short, because of course there's always a 'for short' with them - walked like a sidewinder moves in sand; utter silence and perfect poise. I think that's what intimidated most people - that he looked like he could never be ruffled, or upset, or tilted off-balance, not even by a passing tornado. There was something unshakeable about the way he held his head, his broad shoulders. It scared people. Well, maybe it was also the fact it looked like he hated everything. Where his brothers' eyes were green, Wolf's were brown-green, hazel if you really wanna get all gushy and poetic with something like Satan's eye color. Regardless, Wolf's eyes burned. They burned with a deep poison I can only describe as utter contempt. His gaze was always sharp, and started to hurt a bit if you maintained eye contact with him for too long. It was a small mercy his hair was as dark a black and shaggy as it was - it got in his eyes a lot, and put a buffer between the world and his acid-fire. Unlike Fitz, he wore his uniform perfectly pressed, though he always kept several silver rings on different fingers, and it was no secret he played with them, turning them around his skin in idle moments, or even when he walked. The middle brother, Wolf was a junior, and the rumors were already swirling he was poised to go to an Ivy League. He was on the Varsity swimming team, and nothing else.

Burn was the quiet one, Fitz was the flirty one, and Wolf was the nasty one. Everyone knew that.

And as they approached Eric and I, I realized from Eric's stare and the way he started trembling harder that they were the ones who sent him the post-it. I grabbed it from his fingers and waved it as the Blackthorn brothers came close.

"So you're the ones who gave Eric this weird, ineffective paper stop-sign, huh?" I asked. Wolf spun a ring on his finger and pointed his volcanic glare at me.

"This doesn't involve you, scholarshipper. I suggest you keep your nose out of this." He snarled.

Burn, obviously used to Wolf's usual venom, closed his eyes and leaned on the lockers like he was taking a casual nap. Fitz turned to the hallway railing and watched the clouds go by, as if he was bored by it all. Scholarshipper. Of course he'd use the fact I'm the only one on scholarship to this school against me. Everyone else had mommies and daddies who could pay for such a prestigious place. I took a deep breath.

"And I suggest you go back to Hot Topic and give them their entire juvenile angst section you've clearly gobbled up and repurposed as a personality."

Burn cracked an eye open. Fitz turned his head over his shoulder, one eyebrow raised. Wolf narrowed his long-lashed eyes to slits. Eric probably peed himself.

"Who do you think you are?" Wolf asked. The way he said it, dark and low and serrated like a knife, made me realize for a split-second why Eric might've pissed his pants. Beneath all that rich-boy angst, Wolf had an anger in him, a genuine, awful fire. Burn might've been the brawn behind the Blackthorns, and Fitz the affability, but Wolf was the fear.

"I'm just a scholarshipper," I said brightly to counter his darkness. "Minding her own business."

"You clearly aren't," Fitz chimed in with sweet smile, voice like cool honey compared to Wolf's ragged one. "This is none of your business."

"You're right. One sec." I held up the post-it and ripped it in half, letting the paper flutter to the floor. I've always been one for dramatics. And for a fair fight. Eric versus all three of the Blackthorns wasn't fair by any definition in the solar system. I smiled at Fitz. "Now it's my business."

Sara Wolf is a twenty-something author who adores baking, screaming at her cats, and screaming at herself while she types hilarious things. When she was a kid, she was too busy eating dirt to write her first terrible book. Rockstar romances have become a huge favorite of mine. When I found out that K.K. Allen was writing this book, I could not wait to get my hands on it. K.K. Allen's writing blows me away every single time. Her words make me feel. Make me fall in love. Make me an emotional wreck. Her words let me feel everything. Dangerous Hearts took me on an emotional roller coaster ride leaving me breathless. This story is everything. The character development was spot on. Each character grew in different ways and I loved seeing how they changed from beginning to end.

Lyric grew up with music in her blood being the daughter of two huge musicians. Even though she wasn't doing what they wanted her to do, she still found a way to be in the music business. After her recent breakup, she ends up as a road manager for Wolf. And being a female road manager is tough!! But, this is one job she is great at. Sparks fly when they first meet. What I love about Lyric is that she is very independent. She didn't want anything from her parents. She earned what she has worked hard for. Lyric loves fiercely. Her song lyrics are absolutely beautiful and you feel the love and pain in them. A talent she keeps hidden. But why?

Wolf, short for Beowulf, is a womanizer. His name is just flat out sexy as is. He doesn't do love or relationships. After firing his road manager, he hires Lyric based on her reputation and not who her parents are. The moment they meet, she was already his. He just didn't know it yet. He made it no secret that he likes women and had no interest in Lyric, but when others showed interest in her, he made them stay away. He was so protective of her. I loved seeing him slowly let one girl open his heart up once again. Learning his secrets of why he is the way he is was very emotional and just sad.

What I loved about this book was the epic romance. Well, I should say that I loved everything about this book since I absolutely did. Hello!!! Rockers!!! But yes, I loved seeing Wolf completely fall for Lyric. He was the big, bad rocker who everyone says not to fall in love with. He even said it himself. Seeing him slowly change and want things he never wanted was so sweet. I love seeing the bad boys go soft. It was beautifully written and made me fall in love with these two. I was rooting for them from the very beginning. Wolf and Lyric were able to share their pasts with each other. Their feelings. They opened up to each other and became each other's support. I loved how they would share their lyrics and write lyrics together. I am literally sitting her fan-girling right now over this!!

I really, really fell in love with who Wolf and Lyric were to each other. The prologue at the beginning gave us an insight to their past and how they first met. This was one of the main reasons I really fell for them. I was hooked with this prologue. I knew who they were to each other, but they didn't.

Dangerous Hearts was a captivating story from start to finish. I could not put this book down. My mind is blown right now. This book does end with a cliffhanger that definitely left me wanting more. I seriously need the second book right now!!! K.K. Allens writing is just beautiful and exquisite. She knows how to completely entrance her readers and make us feel so many emotions with her words. This book has become one of my top favorites. I still can't get this story and the characters out of my head. If you are looking for an edgy and sexy rockstar romance, then this book is for you!! It is a definite reread for me!!!
