Between Sixty Sonnets promotional appearances and junkets to Australia, E-Verse has been busy, but not so busy it can’t film a new episode. So were back! Our new episode takes a long hard look at the “best worst” song lyrics from 1980’s songs, some truly inspired homemade Star Wars costumes, and Alicia Stallings new poem Pop Music. We round it out with yet another list (you’re gonna love this one): top five montage sequences from 1980s movies. Surely you know the volleyball scene from Top Gun? The prom in Teen Wolf? And who could forget the training scenes from Rocky IV? But what makes #1?

Cross-continental superhero cyclist David Sylvester joins E-Verse this week to discuss his epic journeys and offer his hilarious Top Five Movie Bicycles. This episode also features famous bicycle quotes, some history of the bicycle, a poem by Wyatt Prunty, and the inspiration behind Contribute2.org. Get on your bikes and ride!

There’s nothing scary about this episode as we delve into the Top Five Monster Songs, Monsters from Outer Space, and Top Five Friendly Monsters. We’ve also got a couple of ghoulish poems, Sunrise with Sea Monsters, in memory of Ray Harryhausen and HIlbert’s own Summer Scream, inspired by the old Brigantine Castle down at the Jersey Shore. We consider it a spooktacular episode.
