Have you noticed lately, netbooks are popping up everywhere. I was in the computer store today and there seemed to be as much room being given to little netbooks as the rest of the computers combined. Talk about a spike in popularity. They are priced right but at the end of the day their size is for me a little bit too small. But i guess for families with kids it is a nicer price to pay than the more expensive alternatives!

Well i have said it before and i will say it again, car insurance is something that you should not be without. I was forcefully reminded of this fact when i had a low speed accident the other day and while it was hardly a bump, the left side of the front of the car is a little crumpled and i just know that it will cost a pretty penny to get it fixed!

One of the best things about the internet is that you can find out about just about anything from movie reviews from many sources to the name for a number of pigs together to Patentrim reviews (diet pills if you are not in the know). It really has opened the world up so much. And of course my eyes as well. Greatest invention of the 20th century i am thinking or at least very close to it anyway!

I was thinking back today to my younger days. Back then i was a better looking, more fit and generally different person than i am now. I was focused on a different career, that of being in the army and as part of that i was doing a lot of cross country moving as i went from one side of the country to the other and back again. It was an experience at the time but no way would i still want to be doing that on a regular basis

i don’t know if i have ever mentioned that i own an XBox that i never use. You see the problem is that no matter how hard i try, i always hold the controller too tight and before long my hands start to ache and i have to stop. It really sounds funny but is actually quite painful although since i do stop, i do not believe it would be doing any damage

Have you noticed how hard it is to find the best of something? Whether it is the best computer or the best eye cream there is always something new and better that comes along after to put your decision into question. Of course I can really say that, I am typing this entry on the apple macbook I bought just before they suddenly brought out new models

I am wondering what is best in a lot of things, Best to do with my career, best thing to do in my relationships. Best Weight loss pills. You name it, i am wondering what is best … and what is not. Does anyone else find themselves thinking about what is best and what is anything but on a regular basis or is it just me?

I will be perfectly honest, i am not a huge fan of politics as the whole activity of politics can get in the way of good government as our politicians cury favour to keep their seat for the next time there is an election. It means you end up with decisions being taken based on political sense rather than common sense. Not that i am advocating an alternative system, dictatorship doesn’t mean better government, of that i am sure.

So it comes as a bit of a suprise to announce i have joined the Australian Pirate Party and not the kind with eye patches and parrots on one shoulder. Rather the free culture and the ability to do what ever i want with property i have bought without breaking the law such as copying my own dvds. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a particulr hate of mine as since i have bought the album, song or what ever, for my own personal use I would like to do what i want with it. DRM is often forced on the consumer without their knowledge or consent and has even at times exposed the user to security threat (Can anyone say Root Kit such as the Sony Scandal).

I was just reading about mesothelioma, a disease caused by the exposure to asbestos. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to have your life so turned upside down. You know, it is strange some of the places that i end up surfing to on this here internet. This time of all places i found myself on the website of a Frisco Dentist, i kid you not! While i do know that good dental health and well being is important and all, for me at least it is just a bit too far to go to the dentist don’t you think?
