Charles Spurgeon's morning devotion touched me this morning. Salvation is the most blessed gift we could ever receive and yet people turn away from it daily. That choice saddens me, because I know how tough life can be with Christ. We weren't promised a rose garden, afterall. I simply can not fathom how people make it...
My daughter laughed when she walked by our bookcase this morning and saw these earrings hanging on the teacup. She had just thrown them down on the cup the other day. I walked by and saw them laying there, and at the same time noticed the scalloped rim of the cup. I picked the earrings up and hung them on the edge. I thought...
Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that...
