How to Style: Lace Shorts

2013-05-18T07:52:00.000-07:00

Hey guys! During Spring and Summer I love to wear lace shorts! They can make any outfit look like you have put alot of effort into it and they add a touch of girliness to even the most tomboy look! Want to see these looks in more detail? Check out my youtube video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzKs-uOUtLU

Panda Bear Sweater and Floral Combat Boots

2013-04-21T13:00:00.000-07:00

I recently got this sweater from Macy's and it was 65% off! I love getting things on sale! Since it was raining I thought it was the perfect time to wear it! I also changed my hair again! I simply did a soap wash to try and get the dark out of my hair, but not completely ruin it! I will slowly start changing it back to blonde! It might look kinda orange/ yellow, but hopefully when I get a purple shampoo it till turn more ashy! Hope you are all having a fantastic day!

New Year's Eve Outfit Houndstooth and Skull Print with Peplum Dress

2013-01-02T06:13:00.000-08:00

Happy New Year! I hope you had a fabulous start to 2013! This is the outfit I wore on New Year's Eve. I wore the faux-fur jacket and large rhinestone earrings for a glamorous Old Hollywood vibe. I also added orange lipstick and gold eyemakeup to match my coat. To finish off the look I wore matching shoes, purse and dress with Houndstooth print. I love that on the heels and purse there is also an Ed Hardy inspired look with skulls and roses. What did you do for New Year's Eve?

Here are several different outfits and makeup looks I have worn lately. These were all taken around the weeks leading up to Christmas as well as the actual day. Hope you had a fantastic Christmas! The last look is an Egyptian inspired look with dramatic gold eyeliner. I made a video on youtube for that look because I thought it would be an intense party look for New Year's Eve! Hope you have lots of fun tonight and have an amazing new year! XOXO

Hey everyone! Thanks for being so patient! I actually took these pictures with my sister during Thanksgiving, but when I tried to upload them the site said I had reached my maximum for free uploads. I was kinda frustrated truthfully because I had no idea you couldn't blog as much as you wanted for free, but maybe it is a good thing so I put more effort into my posts when I am able to post! The Cool Factor

2012-11-11T08:00:00.000-08:00

Hey guys! This weekend it snowed here! I really like how these pictures turned out because the flash made the snow look like a giant white blanket! I wore a super casual look with a graphic polar bear tee and a plaid t-shirt that used to be my boyfriend's. When I was younger I always saw girls in boyish clothes that looked so cool and effortless, but also really pretty. Whenever I tried to do the same type of look I just looked plain and uncomfortable. I still don't think I look like those perfect girls who somehow look picture-perfect in anything, but I do think I have more confidence to at least pull of this type of look!

Hayden Panettiere Loose Braid and Denim Dress

2012-11-09T07:00:00.000-08:00

Recently Hayden Panettiere wore a cute denim dress, channeling her new "cowgirl" character on Nashville. The tv show Nashville is about several country singers and the music on the show is very beautiful. Have you seen the show?

Love Owls!

2012-11-08T06:30:00.000-08:00

Hey lovelies! This outfit is extremely casual, but the brights colors and cute owl boots make this look very fun and adorable! Some smoldering dark eyeliner, cheery pink lips, and mini braids intensify this look!

Kim Kardashian Leather Pants and Ruffle Shoes

2012-11-06T07:00:00.000-08:00

Hey! Here is another Kim Kardashian inspired look. Lately she has often been wearing neutral colors like white, grey, and black. She has also consistently worn leather after her boyfriend Kayne West updated her style. My grey tank is a little darker than hers but it has a similar high low hemline, perhaps not the best thing for Fall-time but I really wanted to recreate the look!

Thermal Weather

2012-11-04T13:00:00.000-08:00

It has been raining around here constantly and the sky is an almost colorless grey. I don't enjoy when the weather is below zero, but when it is slightly warm enough to not wear a jacket, it is wonderful. It is not yet bitter cold and the air smells so fresh. How is your Sunday so far?

Hello Kitty for Halloween

2012-11-01T01:00:00.000-07:00

Yesterday was Halloween and both my sister and I wore these Hello Kitty t-shirts. We both decided to do cat makeup. I wanted to look like a spotted cat similar to a leopard or cheetah. How was your Halloween?

Skulls and Roses

2012-10-31T08:00:00.000-07:00

Happy Halloween everyone!! Yesterday my boyfriend and I got up early to go out to breakfast. It was a beautiful, chilly morning. Since I have been in the mood to wear Halloween themed clothing the past few days, I wore a "Gothic" edgy look. I have always found skulls fascinating and even though they are creepy, I also think they can look really cool and beautiful. I think the roses on this sweater make the skull a little less frightening and more stylish. What is one thing you unexpectedly liked in fashion?

Ghostbusters and Stripes!

2012-10-30T08:00:00.000-07:00

It was stormy all yesterday so I took my pictures inside. I wore a very casual look with no makeup on. Since Halloween is tomorrow I thought it would be cool to wear this Ghostbusters glow in the dark oversized t-shirt! I thought the pants also added a Halloween feel to this look because they reminded me of Beetlejuice's suit. Happy Halloween everyone!

Halloween Celebration

2012-10-28T08:00:00.000-07:00

Last night my friends and I went out to a bar for a Halloween party night. My sister dressed as a dead Homecoming Queen and I dressed as a skeleton. Are you going out this Halloween and if you are, what are you dressing up as? I took pictures at the bar as well as while my sister and I were getting ready to go out.

all costumes got at Spirit Halloween Party Store

Living Doll Halloween Makeup

2012-10-26T08:00:00.000-07:00

I decided to have some fun and create a Halloween inspired makeup look. I thought a "Baby Doll" would be really cute and easy to do. I got the idea when watching Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model because one of the photoshoots had the contestants dress as Victorian dolls. I always think the girls get to do amazing photoshoots on all the Top Model spinoffs! What are you going to do on All Hallow's Eve btw?

Kim Kardashian's All Black Look

2012-10-21T17:30:00.000-07:00

Hey guys! Today is actually Kim Kardashian's birthday so I decided to recreate another outfit of hers. Often I find things already in my closet that look vaguely like hers, which is really exciting because I love her style! I hope she is having a terrific 32nd birthday!

One thing I have in common with Kim is the fact that we have both lost a parent to an illness. Perhaps this is part of the reason I can relate to her and her sisters. I just wanted to mention my mum today because she was one of my best friends and was always there for me. She was everything a mother should be: a wonderful listener who made me laugh and was always there to support me. Yesterday was three years since she passed away and I will never stop missing her. There has been times that my grief has overwhelmed me, simply because I wish I could have more time. More time to show her the love and affection she deserved. More time just to be with her. I will never forget my mum's gorgeous laugh and the beauty she had inside and out.

Batman Nails, Polka Dots and Faux-Leather

2012-10-20T05:30:00.000-07:00

So I went out with friends last night to a bar called the Iron Horse. I wanted to be warm and comfortable, but chic! I wore faux- leather pants and did a Batman design on my nails. My boyfriend is really into comics and superheros and his favorite is Batman, so of course when I saw Batman nails on Pinterest I had to recreate my own version. I tried to do Gotham buildings and the bat symbol. I think if I tried to do it again it would turn out better lol! How was your Friday?!
