It's time for me to say...

GOODBYE...

Hello ladies, it is with great sadness that I tell you that I am retiring from scrapbook designing and will be closing my store at ScrapBird for the last time on 8th March. This decision has not been an easy one to make and has caused me many sleepless nights wondering if I’m doing the right thing. After many discussions with Ian, my hubby, I have decided that yes, it is time to hang up my tablet and pen, close Photoshop and leave the scrapbook designing industry after 7 amazing years.

A little background on my reasoning for this decision, Ian retired two years ago at the age of 75, he has had many health issues over the years and when I reached my own retirement age this year we started talking about having more quality time together and enjoying our twilight years. That ultimately was the deciding factor.

I know I will find it terribly hard at first to adjust to not being part of ScrapBird and designing at my PC but I do intend to still be around posting layouts and bits about my life after designing. Ian and I have many great things planned, starting with a cruise in July up the east coast of Australia from Brisbane to Cairns and Port Douglas, taking in the Great Barrier and many other wonderful sights, we’re so excited about this trip, I’ve never cruised before. And later we have a wedding to go to in Sydney at the end of October, so not a slowing down in activity.

Thank you all so much for your camaraderie and support over the years. I’ll remember our fun times together with fondness and I’ll miss you all terribly.

Watch for my Last Chance Sale starting on the 2nd March
