Michael Jackson’s death did more than break millions of hearts, he also turned the Internet upside down with website crashes and traffic overload… talk about a defining moment in Internet history!

Here’s what happened:

Google had a HUGE surge in traffic. As millions of people were searching for “Michael Jackson”, they thought it was a hacker attack and they blocked all these queries!
Twitter crashed after experiencing a huge surge of Twitter updates.
Wikipedia crashed as well from the volume of search queries.
Facebook experienced more than three times the feed updates.
AOL Instant messenger completely collapsed for 40 minutes as well…

Even Amazon and iTunes had a huge surge in sales as a result of the death of the King Of Pop. (Same situation offline – in our local shopping malls… wonder why no one bought those records when he was still alive.)

Back From The Millionaire Mind Intensive

I just came back from the Millionaire Mind Intensive – by T. Harv Eker.

It was one of the most mind blowing motivational seminars I’ve ever attended.

Here is a picture of me going for the ‘arrow break’ exercise. Too many, it was a really scary exercise because everyone was forced to sign an indemnity form in case serious injury were to occur.

The exercise involved breaking an arrow using the softest spot on your throat. Try pressing your finger against it for a few seconds and you will notice a choking sensation.

The fear was real for me initially when they told everyone that they had to sign the form in order to participate, but my better judgment prevailed and my arrow broke with ease.

Best of all, it was like a family reunion because I went there with both my brothers – Khai Lee and Khai Yong, our significant others, my Internet marketing friends like Edmund Loh, Melvin Ng and his wife, Sunny Tan and his wife, Steven Wong, Dechen Lau and his wife, Peng Joon, Elle Wong, Pooi Ling and even Khai Lee’s friends were there – Joel, Chit Soon, Kenneth and who knows how many more.

It was a weekend long sensation of mind blowing money management techniques, massive paradigm shifting experiences, practical exercises and inspirational moments that I will never forget.

Fusionology Aftermath…

It’s been 20 days since I launched Fusionology Blueprint.

With more than 700 copies sold, I conclude that the Fusionology launch was a HUGE SUCCESS – way BEYOND our expectations!

However, the success of this launch would not have been possible without the help of my valiant affiliates!

Here’s what two of the winners said:

From creating an irresistible, high converting front end offer to an extremely lucrative sales process, he really knows how to help his affiliates generate tons of money from thin air!

The moment I sent out my emails, I was hitting a 55% conversion rate on his One Time Offers and I was shocked to see not, one or two but THREE OTOs rushing in for every 2 front end sales that I’ve made!

Here’s a breakdown of the entire launch process…

Concept:

Fusionology Blueprint was supposed to be the ‘follow up’ to my first successful 5 figure product launch which is MLM Fire Sale.

Not content with just conquering the MLM market, we decided to tackle a broader market to expand our horizons.

We came up with the name Fusionology because my partner Jaz Lai and I were integrating offline marketing methods such as home businesses with online marketing.

It was a combination or a fusion of the best niches online like Internet marketing, home based businesses and personal development.

The best part about our concept is that even though we know that Internet marketing, home based businesses and personal development are very saturated markets, we found that no one actually ever thought of combining the niches together to create a new genre – and since nobody did it, we were the only ones who did it hence we cut out 90% of the competition!

The concept worked so well for us that we decided to create a blueprint out of what we did and market it massively.

That was how Fusionology was born.

Product Development Life Cycle:

We made sure that the PLR content we were providing was top notch and the product development process was a long and tedious one.

I wrote most of the books, sales letters, video scripts and all the follow up emails to refine the sales process.

We didn’t want to create just one product. We knew that people usually want more – so we created more related products such as PLR sales letters, videos, articles, promo emails, squeeze pages, blog templates, copywriting swipe files and tutorials that teaches people how to utilize these tools.

Once everything was done, we started to piece the entire ‘puzzle’ together.

Sales Cycle:

We created our products with our customers first in mind. But besides the customers, we wanted to make sure our affiliates who promoted the product made a lot of money.

So we created a unique cycle that allowed the affiliate to be credited with many sales for a single customer.

The customers who bought our products were happy that there were many related products that benefited them and that meant that the affiliates could earn more money that way!

The best thing about our sales cycle was, it doesn’t matter if the customer is under a budget constraint, they can order the products at any entry level. Basic, Elite, Master course, upgrades and low cost monthly memberships… we learned that from McDonalds because some can only afford a burger, while others might want the entire value meal… and desert plus apple pie!

The key to our success was giving people options at any level they are comfortable with. Unlike selling a high ticket product, we were able to market to both low and high budget customers at the same time which gave us a lot of flexibility.

My Breakthrough Affiliate Contest Idea:

Besides our killer concept, irresistible front end offer and profitable sales funnel, we had one more trick up our sleeves and it was how we motivated our affiliates.

The 7 days were filled with exciting games and competitions.

Affiliates were entering a ROYAL RUMBLE! It was a heck of a good time.

Edmund Loh, Aurelius Tjin and Ian Del Carmen were some of the most ferocious fighters I’ve ever seen.

The battle for total dominance and supremacy was so bloody that the fight itself even attracted OTHER JV partners that I never had the chance to invite (let alone speak to them!)

More and more people were joining in like a HUGE bar FIGHT!

One of our affiliates, Frank Bauer came in from nowhere and got 5th place all of a sudden!

Alliances were forged, emails were blasted out and fights were getting bloody.

The best comment by the other affiliates was, “What the heck are Ian and Edmund doing? They were blasting out emails for Fusionology EVERY SINGLE DAY!”

In a nutshell, everyone emerged a winner because they all had fun in the contest which was one of the biggest success factors in the marketing strategy (Edmund even told me that most gurus lacked this creativity!)

Aftermath:

The biggest problems with most product launches is that they shoot up like a rocket but drops down like a burnt stick.

We didn’t want sales to end after the launch so we created a continuity program to get recurring sales and we kept on driving more traffic afterwards.

The site will go on like Celine Dion’s heart… haha!

We plan to turn Fusionology into one of the most successful brands in the home business market and this is just the beginning.
