WHO CAN JOIN:

Anyone who’s 0 to 100 years old.
Open to all MF fans. MF haters are still welcome because we’re nice people.
Filipino, foreigners, aliens, anybody who understands the words “gugma” and “inun-unan.”

MECHANICS:

Design must be based on the band’s image as the favorite of construction workers, habal-habal drivers and ex-convicts, and of course as an icon of Pogi Rock.
Design must say something about the album as a product of collaboration with other local artists (that’s why “Duha-Duha”).
Design may or not contain the album title “Duha-Duha.”
Entries must be square, just like a CD cover. Last time we checked, the triangle CD had yet to be invented. And high resolution, please.
Entries must respect copyrights laws. We love to play in prison facilities, but we don’t want to stay there.
Entries must be orginal and made especially for this contest. Entries that had been submitted for Justin Bieber’s album covers are automatically rejected.
Entries must not contain disrespect for any living things, must not harm plants and zombies, and must not make birds angry. Ug ginadili ang mga mahait nga pulong, sama sa atsa, tigib, sundang, kutsilyo, bangkaw, gabas, ug uban pa.
And no pornographic material, please. We’ve had enough of each other’s boobs in the ten years we’re together.
Each participant is allowed to submit not more than two (2) entries.
Must be in full color
Entries will be posted on MF Fan Page, where your relatives can like.
The most number of likes may not necessariily be the winner, but will receive a special award.

CONTEST PERIOD:

Contest launch: September 20, 2011.
Deadline for submission of entries: October 21, 2011

PRIZES, OR LACK THEREOF:

Of course, winning entry will be used as the official Duha-Duha album cover, silly.
Winner will get a free “Duha-Duha” CD, MF accessories and a chance to have a one-night stand with any of the band members (please coordinate with the wife)
Winner’s name and contact info will appear in the album credits.
A high chair in front of the stage will be reserved for the winner during the album launching
Awarding of the winner will be held on the album launch
Winner will be acknowledged by the band during gigs, if they’re not too wasted to remember.

Five years after Krispy Kreme set foot in the Philippines, the confectionary company immediately garnered its own niche leading to an extensive expansion across Metro Manila.

Krispy Kreme opened its 1st store at Bonifacio Global City in November 2006. At present, Krispy Kreme boasts of 23 stores that serve renowned melt-in-your mouth doughnuts and coffee.

“We achieved what the Americans have been feasting on since 1930’s—the famous Krispy Kreme doughnut line, best served after the hot light outside the store flashes on,” says Jim Fuentebella, Chairman of Krispy Kreme Philippines . “And we also experienced the long lines that people in the US do, every time a new store opens for business.”

In fact, what the Filipinos did was more than just a line. True to Krispy Kreme's passion for fun and excitement, the first customers get a month or even a year long supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Thus, some camped near the branch hours and even days before the new store’s opening.

And this is probably the scene that Cebuanos should expect now that Krispy Kreme is about to land on the celebrated Queen City of the South.

“Bringing Krispy Kreme in one of the country’s most vibrant cities is just one of the results of our continuous expansion outside Metro Manila,” says Fuentebella.

Meanwhile, Mark Gamboa, Marketing Manager of Krispy Kreme Philippines says that the Krispy Kreme branch in Cebu will also offer wide varieties of doughnuts and beverages that made Krispy Kreme famous across the globe.

“We want to share the Krispy Kreme experience in our Cebu market thus we are bringing what the brand has to offer all the way down to the south,” says Gamboa. “From the world’s famous Original Glazed, yeast-raised and cake doughnut varieties, to our Signature Coffee and its different hot and cold variants—they can experience them all.”

Havainaticos here in Cebu gathered yesterday at the North Wing, SM City Cebu for the launching of Make Your Own Havaianas 2011. But this year, we are believing that God is going to raise up the youth of this nation with heaven's outcry that cannot be silenced by the prevailing culture, that cannot be bought by any price. This year, we believe God is calling the youth to stand against and challenge the giants of our land.
