ZoomIsBack! is an incredible app in my opinion. When updating to iOS 5, you were unable to manually slide to zoom in or out. This tweak is pretty much self explainitory, it brings the ability to manually slide to zoom in or out. Now in iOS 5, you did have the ability to zoom in or out just by pinching.

Cydia Tweak: ZoomIsBack! (Special Dedication)

There is two ways to get this tweak.

First Way:

In Cydia Click Sections
Scroll down to Tweaks
Click Tweaks
On the Quick Slider, select Z
Find ZoomIsBack!
Click ZoomIsBack!
Press Install in the upper right hand corner
Press Confirm in the upper right hand corner
When its complete it should ask you to Respring
Press Respring

Second Way:

In Cydia Click Manage
Click Sources
Click BigBoss
On the Quick Slider, select Z
Find ZoomIsBack!
Click ZoomIsBack!
Press Install in the upper right hand corner
Press Confirm in the upper right hand corner
When its complete it should ask you to Respring
Press Respring

Semi-Tether: iOS 5.0.1

Once you've Jailbroke your iDevice on iOS 5.0.1, you'll need to install the Semi-Tether in order to turn your device on if it dies or has to reboot.

If your still don't understand follow these step-by-step instructions below.

Open Cydia.
Wait for Cydia to Reload/Refresh Database
Click Manage
Click Sources
Click Edit
Click Add
(http:// will already be entered) type: thebigboss.org/semitether/ (It should look like this: http://thebigboss.org/semitether/ )
Press Add Source
Wait for it to install (When it's finished it'll say: Return to Cydia)
At this point you'll be in your Sources, click the one that says: thebigboss.org
There will be three packages, the middle one should be SemiTether. Click it!
Press install, then confirm
Once it is finished it will ask you to Respring, press Respring (*Note-It does take a few seconds to respond before you can slide to unlock, just wait until the display turns off*)
If done correctly you'll get an app that says Semitether and will look like the Connect to iTunes picture (If it is a white icon there is nothing wrong)
Open it and you will now be able to turn your iDevice on after it shuts off

If it shuts off you won't be able to use any Jailbreak features or a few of your stock Apple Applications. All installed Applications should work.

In order to get everything operational again, just boot it tethered again.

How to Boot Tethered:

Connect your iDevice to your computer
Open RedSn0w 0.9.9b8
Click Extras
Click Select IPSW's (Choose your firmware, where you put it to jailbreak it)
Then Click Just Boot
Follow the on-screen instructions (If done correctly, you will see a pineapple instead of Apple's Boot Logo, the Apple.)

Your iDevice should be operational at this point.

I know everyone wants to make there iPhone, iPod, or iPad better. Jailbreaking, in my case, does just that. Sometimes you may notice some apps may be slower, but overall, it's worth it! Be sure to read all instructions first!!!

How to: Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 - Tethered

If you still don't understand follow these instructions.

First, download you iOS 5.0 firmware. Save it to your Desktop!
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4 (GSM)
iPad
iPod Touch 3G
iPod Touch 4G

Next, download RedSn0w 0.0.9.9b8. Also, save it to your Desktop. You may have to extract it, if so extract it to your Desktop.
RedSn0w 0.9.9b8

Once it is all extracted and downloaded, connect your Apple iDevice.

Open RedSn0w 0.9.9b8.
Click Extras
Click Select IPSW's
Find your Firmware you download (Should be on your Desktop!)
Then, click < Back
Click Jailbreak
Now Follow the on-screen instructions. It should now be jailbroken, but you are not finished!
Back in RedSn0w, click Extras
Click Select IPSW's (Do the same thing as before.)
Then, go up to Just Boot (Click it), and follow on-screen instructions. (If done correctly you should see a Pineapple instead of the Apple Logo.)

*Note- If you turn off your iDevice, you have to start from Step 8 in order to make your phone operational again.*

In Cydia, wait for it to Prepare File System then select Developer. This is necessary!
