Toyota has finally answered the prayers of the many enthusiasts wishing for a “fun” car, rather than the boring and uninspiring lineup that they have now. Nike Dunk Hi AC Tier Zero

Shoes have been “MEH” for us for awhile here at EO, but these caught our attention today: Nike just released these Dunk Hi’s in two subtle colorways shown below, as opposed the usual junk they’ve been bringing out with 90+ colors. These are available at select Tier Zero Nike accounts, such as the infamous Undefeated. Both pairs will feature a 100% canvas base combined with a white sole. Some are speculating that these shoes are the best release so far of 2009 for Nike. We concur, though I don’t see myself buying these now (Yes, we are sleeping on these). We guess after all those ugly retros and the threat of Vans capturing shoe collectors’ attentions, Nike had to tone things done and show why they are the Number One shoe company in the world.

We’ve been a little busy here at EO so we apologize for more updates. Our economy is still in the toilet, though it is slightly picking up. For us, we did get our shoes that we have talked about. I finally acquired the following kicks: Nike Air Max 1 Atmos Safari; Nike Air Classic BW Nintendo/Player Select; and finally, not one but two pairs of the Nike Air Pegasus 89: the Swan/Blue and Swan/Coral Rose colorway that we’ve been raving about here. The Blue pair was acquired from the Nike Clearance Store in Alpine, California during the Labor Day Weekend. If you are ever in the San Diego, California area, make a trip out to the East community of Alpine. This Nike store is in the Viejas Outlet Center, which is owned by the Band of Indians who also operate the Viejas Casino conveniently located across the street. For me personally, I saw many pairs of Runners, esepcially Air Max 1s, so it seems worthwhile to ago if you can’t make it to the other Nike Factory Store in San Ysidro.

Want a chance to drive a 2010 HS250h for a week? How about a whole year?

The new dedicated hybrid 2010 Lexus HS250h is going to be one of the first in the entry level luxury hybrid class coming later this year. Because of Lexus continued Pursuit of Perfection, they want to give a rare and special opportunity to everyone. Instead of just a regular ride and drive, you can have a chance to drive a 2010 HS250h for a whole week, maybe even up to a year. The catch is, you must have the popular vote!

Now how does it work? It’s very simple. You must sign up and register on www.drivehs.com. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be prompted to create a short profile. Your profile must reflect your desire to drive the HS250h and be convincing to everyone on why you should win. A dedicated URL will be assigned for your profile and you must share it with friends, family and etc. to gather votes. The person with the highest vote count will win the grand prize of driving the HS250h for a whole year. 100 runners up will win a week drive of the HS. The top three vote getters will also receive weekend stays at a participating Fairmont Hotel, and all winners will receive a Lexus Hybrid Living Gift Bag. Aside from the winning votes, one lucky participant will be randomly selected by Lexus to drive the HS250h for a whole year.

The contest is good from July 1, 2009 to July 31, 2009. Winners will be notified in late August and the actual drives are slated to start around September 2009. There are 10 select cities where the prizes will be available for pick up. This contest is valid for those in the United States and the 49 contiguous states that Lexus USA services.

As we said before, Toyota is just getting started with its development of the highly talked about coupe with Subaru, so we are forced to look elsewhere for at the newest rear-wheel drive coupe on the market today. The new Hyundai Genesis Coupe has answered that call. Right now, the vehicles are slowly circulating into dealerships, so finding one that you would want can be challenging (We would love to have a 2.0T Track model).

For us enthusiasts, Hyundai will be putting their Coupe on the Adrenaline Tour nationwide in the United States. Click below to view the schedule of stops and to register to drive.
