He is the worst lawyer he don’t care about your intrest i payed him more then half his pay he ask for more and he haven’t did anything and when i told him i didn’t have he said to me(what you think i can do for you) what kind of lawyer is that!!! he was never on time for court he never put no motions in for me sometimes he forgot i had to be in court i think he did that because i woulndn’t give him money every time he ask so he woulldn’t show up for court.

If there is anyone at all who knows the truth, it is I. Richard wouldn’t hurt a fly, nor would he ever lie, cheat or steal to such a degree. He is far too smart for any of this nonsense, and anyone who knows him knows much better. The nerve of anyone to take advantage of such a smart, kind hearted person, not to mention the wrath his family must now endure do to this horrible situation. Shame on all of you. Get some brains quick, and simply put, “snap out of it, and leave Richard and his family alone.”

Marc Tow has been reported to the State Bar, DRE, and SEC. The State Bar is an absolute waste of time. Every ethical violation was presented to them and they did not validate one complaint. They are too busy at the donut shop.

He is a crook getting off scott free because nobody wants to investigate or do any work.

I paid Laverty $7200 in June of 2009, have filed a claim with the BBB and the state bar.…nothing. I was denied from my lender for modification and no one will even call us back from Laverty.….anyone getting refunds still?
Who do you call at Laverty?

Laverty is a liar and a crook. I paid him $3,900 and he did absolutely nothing to help me get a loan mod. This was in 10/09. After reporting him to the BBB and the California Bar (what was a joke), I received a letter from him today stating that he was not going to give me a refund because he fulfilled his contract. He is full of crap. I was considing filing a small claims case against him in CA but I live in IL and that is quite a hike.

I would like to clear up that I attend public school, do not go on ski trips, my mother has been having her money stolen, my dad has been sober for a year, my house isn’t even 3,000 square feet, my mom is handicapped (she has been in many car accidents and has more issues with her body than most of her clients), my dad’s assistants were hired as babysitters but it was at our house because he had to go to work, the truck was bought by my mom on sale to be used for his contracting job he holds to make money as he goes to AA meetings, and do not post comments about me and my brother if you don’t want us to see them; we are straight A students. I’m the one who reported him. “Friend and attorney” is the last thing I would call him. I lost my case for “failure to appear.” If you don’t believe me, ask Judge Hayden. Don’t tell me he’s a good attorney! Not only that, he led me on for two years making me believe my case was still open, which left me with no time to hire another attorney! I hired him, I paid him, and he failed to do his job…plain and simple. He was left with the money and I was left with NOTHING. I agree with “Mr. No Nonsense.” He has no right to call himself an attorney. I’m not worried, though. People like him always get caught sooner or later. Too bad the ethics committee is made of of his colleagues. If that were not so, he would already be done.

If you were a victim of Alan P. Dove, then I would strongly recommend that you take him to small claims court on a regular basis if needed until you are repaid what you are due.

He and his Doctor wife own several “investment” pieces of real estate as well as the big expensive home in the affluent neighborhood that they live in that you can attach your judgement to. After you win your judgement have the Sheriff seize one of his cars and have it sold at auction for your judgement. If every victim of his did this, he would be crying for sure!

Fight back against these sleezy Lawyers. Don’t let them steal your money like a common thief!

I don’t know if any of his “victims” have had any luck getting restitution. It should not be that difficult to get a small claims judgement against him, especially now considering his disbarrment. He and his wife own several pieces of real estate some in her name, some in his name and the house in Scripps Ranch in both of their names. He just bought a new expensive truck late last year when the new models came out, so he is not hurting for money like his victims are. I would not give up and would continue to drag him into small claims court until he can’t take it anymore and pays up.

Pay his wife a visit at her office and embarrass her, maybe she will pay you to go away. Remember she is a Doctor. Plenty of money there! Lookback through the previous posts to get her name. Call her office first to make sure the address is correct as she moves her office fairly often, reason unknown, but I have my suspicions. Look for the big Silver Mercedes S500 usually parked in the first space in the handicaaped zone, and she is not handicapped. Another sleezeball Doctor taking advantage of the handicapped parking area that “real” handicapped people need, not lazy Doctors! Sleezeball Lawyer, sleezeball Doctor wife= sleeze ball family. I cringe to think what their kids will be like as adults. God help us.

This is really awesome how everyone here is supporting each other and going after it! Who’d a thought? It’s very interesting but Laverty is still not listed as having any complaints on the State Bar’s website…

I am purusing a new line of relief — and you may be interested — and this is getting a Loan Compliance Audit. There were many illegal loans performed between 2002–2009 and I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of you here might have one. I’m in the process and I’ll let you know the results. It forces the lending company to respond and deal with you. Unfortunately, it can still cost some money to get.

I can’t recommend enough performing as much due diligence as possible. We can’t always cath the creeps, but there are a lot of background check site for $49-$60 and we can always hire private investigators for a $100 to perform one too.
