So yesterday I was blessed to take photos of one of my girlfriends family and I have to say I had a blast. They were such a fun group and was just happy to be a part of it. It warms my heart that folks will allow me to take photos of them and their families and my photos hang in their homes for the next few years. So here is a preview of some of Tiana's family photos.

Life update

OK so every time that I have posted on my blog my whole life has changed, but this time even with the changes that I'm going to share I can promise you life has only gotten better for me. The kids are really growing up, Dante is 11 now and even though he has a lot of health problems he is still here. Julia is 8 now and still as girly as ever she is the spitting image of her mommy, which you know makes me happy. Well last but not least my baby Gabe is no longer a baby he is 5 and full of energy so much energy its hard to keep up with him. And the best news of all I'm getting married in June of 2014... Less than a year to go :)

These are photos I took today of my growing kids. Sometimes I wish they were still babies but i love to see them grow and see the new things they accomplish. This week Dante got his hearing aids and he loves them thank God. He is finally hearing some of the things hes been missing for so long. Still of course more pictures to come but this is just the beginning.

Man this kid has grown over the years and man have we been through a lot over the years. He has taught me so much over the years that were soooo hard on him. My trooper Dante.

I'm not sure why I like this photo so much but just the way my boys can show how much they love each other in between all the bickering and fighting.

My little girl is now 7 years old and all I hear is that she looks so much like me, and I love hearing that. She is my princess.

Julia and Gabriel's Birthday Invitations

Once again we have come to the time of the year where we get to celebrate two of my greatest achievements in my life... My babies that were born on the same day but different years. Julia and Gabriel will be 7 and 4 this year, wow the time has gone by. And of course like I do every year I make their invites because that's what i enjoy doing.

Arent they cute

Dante's nurse is having a baby boy and asked me to do her baby shower invites and I was of course happy to do them. I had so much fun making them and i think they turned out great. All I have heard are compliments on how good they turned out.

Latest update on life is of course working on the divorce and working from home on my crafts again. It seems like my life changes all the time.

I have been working alllllll the time at my sales job at Aarons that I have had to take a break from what I love the most my crafts. But you do what you have to do to make ends meet. When I get back to crafts I will post ASAP.

The kids have been enjoying the sun as much as they can from home before the school year is over. My kids don't get out of school until next week but they have enjoyed the little pool and gardening with me.

I have to say even after all the sleepless nights i had trying to get everything ready for this party it was worth it. The kids had a blast playing on firetrucks and my boyfriend Jason was so helpful. I wouldn't have been able to get through the party without him and my friends that came. Thank goodness for friends and family

I love my new stampin up toys

Ok here are some cards I made tonight with some new sizzix dies and embossing folders from stampin up and the local craft store... Love them and I LOVE these cards. So here goes

So here i used the flower burst stampin up sizzlet I think that's what its called but anyway I love it.

Ok I used my scallop square and I know its not new but it's new to me and I used the scallop rectangle which is also new to me.... Love them too.

And here I used a embossing border folder which I have been staring at for the last few days trying to figure out how I wanted to use it. I used another sizzix die but I dont remember what its called but I love it too. I also picked up a scallop oval die at the local craft store and well you know what I'm going to say again I Love it too.

Well not the best picture but this is the finished invitation for my two kiddos who share there birthday. I think they turned out awesome so I hope you feel the same. As you can tell Julia likes hello kitty and my buddah Gabe loves Toy Story so I tried to mix their two likes together. Well there is more to come this week because there are favor boxes and decorating left. I love my babies:-)

Allright enough typing and back to work i have less than a week to get a whole party together and decorated. It's always the little things that seem like they will never get done. Back to work

Oh my goodness seems to be my new phrase... It feels like I've been working on these invitations for weeks but I only started them yesterday. One good thing is they seem to be coming along and yes I took pictures of my progress. I will post more and the finished product tomorrow and probably the next day. Like I said a work in progress.

Oh my goodness I'm hot

Oh my goodness I'm hot today it's 83 degrees and to me it feels like 90 degrees out. Now it's beautiful outside but its hot and it's going to take me sometime to get used to the hot weather...
Anyway before I start working on these invitations for my kids birthday party I wanted to post some pics of another mothers day card I made and if I get a invite done tonight I will give you a sneak preview before I mail them out so stay tuned.

Happy Easter Everyone

We had a wonderful day spending time together looking for eggs and plant flowers in the front of our house. I don't have pictures of the planting excursion but I do have pictures of the easter egg hunt. We had a wonderful dinner with ham, mashed potatoes, brown rice, corn and green beans. And after the long day now I need to start thinking how I want decorate my kids birthday party in 2 weeks. The planning has officially begun... cake or cupcakes balloons or no balloons my house or the fire station so many things to figure out.

Here are the grandparent cards I made for my best friend Crickett for all the moms in her life. These cards slide a 4x6 picture in them. Love making these for her because she sends updated pictures of her kids to the grandparents every month. I need to start the same tradition because my family lives far away and cant come to visit very often.

My Babies... Julia, Gabriel, and Dante

My daughter loves to dance ballet and tap and every year she makes me the proudest mom dancing in the Ymca dance program. Shes the most beautiful dancer I have seen and yes I know shes mine but she's beautiful. Three years of ballet and more to come. So proud of my little girl.

My baby is getting ready to turn three, which of course makes me feel very old. Gabriel is so athletic as I am slowly learning as we play outside. Hes grown up so much and is learning so much from his big brother and sister.

And last but not least my oldest child Dante that has taught me all about how to live life. He gives me hope everyday because nothing brings him down. He loves life and I hope everyone learns how to live life to its fullest because you never know if you will live to see tomorrow.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there. The proudest day of my life has been when my children were born. I call them my greatest accomplishment. They make me so very proud.

Okay so Dante has been adopted by the Catholic University Baseball team and they have been so great to him, they even let him throw the first pitch at one of their games on Sunday. All three kids had a great time and i had a great time watching them. So i'm going to post some pictures from the games and the team.

Its been a while

Wow it seems that every time i post its all about saying how sorry i am that I haven't written a post but again it was for medical reasons. I was in a car accident in march and haven't been the same since. I have been in physical therapy for 5 weeks and now i may have to have knee surgery so that is why i have not been posting. This time I'm not going to promise to post but i will try as often as i can.
So other than that i have been enjoying time with my kids and my boyfriend Jason... Yes everyone I have a boyfriend and oh my goodness life is wonderful. Okay life has it's ups and downs as always but I'm glad to have someone to share my ups and downs with. I have upgraded my workspace so i will do my best to post pictures as soon as i can so everyone can see.
