Our UK operation provides simulation support to enable realistic exercises in both open and urban terrain, from individual and combined arms at platoon level, to joint operations at brigade combat team level. As a total training provider, it is our objective to improve training performance and increase equipment availability. </p><p>Saab have held a Training and Simulation contract since 1994 and is an integral part of collective and individual training. Supporting up to 200 exercises a year the Operations Managers are responsible for the planning and delivery of Field Team and equipment support to all of them. </p><p>Job Purpose:   To coordinate operational delivery of the DFWES contract. Manage support to deployable exercises and other DFWES commitments.</p><p>Roles and responsibilities:</p><p>Operational delivery</p><p>&bull;	Liaise with the customer to coordinate DFWES support. The Contingent parade weekly on Friday afternoons during term time and offer a wide range of activities to the cadets over weekends and in the school holidays.  </p><p>The Contingent Commander, working alongside the SSI, is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective running of the CFF Contingent, including leadership and development of the CCF, ensuring that each pupil is positively encouraged to develop their potential to the full.  The core purpose of this post is to manage and develop the school&rsquo;s CCF, assist with the running and organisation of the contingent and to participate fully in CCF activities. </p><p>The position is offered on a part-time basis. The Contingent parade weekly on Friday afternoons during term time and offer a wide range of activities to the cadets over weekends and in the school holidays.  </p><p>The Contingent Commander, working alongside the SSI, is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective running of the CFF Contingent, including leadership and development of the CCF, ensuring that each pupil is positively encouraged to develop their potential to the full. Duration of the deployments is generally in the range of 5 days - 5 weeks.</p><p>&bull;	Travel to and from the deployments and accommodation will either be provided or covered under expenses.
