हिमाचल प्रदेश के जिला मंडी के गांव सेरला खाबू की रहने वाली डॉ. यशुमति के पिता मोरध्वज शास्त्री ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को पत्र लिखकर न्याय की गुहार लगाई है। फेज-1 में इंडस की लेडी डॉक्टर यशुमति की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में हुई मौत को एक माह पांच दिन बीत चुके हैं। मगर अभी तक भी पुलिस मौत के कारणों से पर्दा नहीं उठा पाई है। वहीं मृतका के पिता हिमाचल प्रदेश के जिला मंडी के गांव सेरला खाबू निवासी मोरध्वज शास्त्री ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को पत्र लिखा है।

इसमें उन्होंने 13 तर्क देते हुए बेटी की हत्या पूरी प्लानिंग से करने का शक जताया है। वहीं, उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री से गुहार लगाई है कि मामला काफी गंभीर है। इसलिए सीबीआई जांच करवाई जाए। उन्होंने पत्र में कहा कि एक तरफ पीएम ने बेटी पढ़ाओ, बेटी बचाओ मुहिम शुरू की है। दूसरी तरफ उनकी पढ़ी-लिखी बेटी की हत्या हो गई और उन्हें इंसाफ के लिए धक्के खाने पड़ रहे हैं।

उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग को भी पत्र भेजा है। मोरध्वज ने बताया कि 8 जून को जैसे ही सूचना मिलने पर वह मोहाली पहुंचे थे तो सबसे पहले वह लेडी डॉक्टर नवप्रीत से मिले थे। इस दौरान उन्होंने उससे बेटी के बारे में पूछा। साथ ही कहा कि बेटी का मोबाइल भी नहीं चल रहा है, तो उसने बताया कि उसका फोन खराब हो चुका है।

उससे सारी कॉल डिटेल डिलीट कर दी गई थी। उसके बाद वह थाना फेज-1 में आ गए। उनके साथ डॉ. नवप्रीत और डॉ. प्रतिभा भी साथ में थाने पहुंचीं। इसके बाद वह थाने के एसएचओ के साथ फेज-1 स्थित यशुमति के घर पहुंचे। वहां कमरे का दरवाजा खुला पड़ा था। बेड पर साफ सुथरी चादर बिछी थी। फ्लूड से भरी सिरींज जरूर वहां देखी थी। मगर किसी भी तरह का कोई रैपर, खाली इंजेक्शन या फिर कोई टूटी हुई कांच नहीं देखी।

इसी बीच पुलिस कर्मियों ने सिरींज को हाथ में लिया और फ्लूड निकालने लगे। जब उन्होंने मौके पर पुलिसकर्मियों को कहा कि यह जांच का हिस्सा है ऐसे न करो तो उनका कहना था कि इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता। अंदर से कोई सुसाइड नोट नहीं मिला। प्रधानमंत्री को लिखे पत्र में मोरध्वज ने कहा कि जब उन्होंने वहां पर पूछा था कि उनकी बेटी को सबसे पहले किसने देखा।

तो उस समय डॉ. प्रतिभा ने कहा था कि उन्होंने सबसे पहले यशुमति को देखा था। फिर उन्होंने उससे पूछा कि उसे कैसे पता चला कि बेटी की तबीयत खराब है, तो उसने गोलमोल जवाब दिया। साथ ही कहा कि उसने एनस्थीसिया का डॉक्टर रात को वहां भेजा था।

शास्त्री ने संदेह जताया कि उनकी बेटी को मारने के पूरे षड्यंत्र में पांच डॉक्टर शामिल हैं। उन्होंने मांग की है कि इनसे पूछताछ की जाए, ताकि सारी सच्चाई सामने आ सके। उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें संदेह है कि बेटी कोई राज जानती थी, जिसके चक्कर में उसकी हत्या की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी बेटी से किसी की कोई दुश्मनी नहीं है।

हिमाचल के सीएम ने दिया कार्रवाई का भरोसा- यशुमति के पिता ने बताया कि उन्होंने कुछ दिन पहले इसी मामले में हिमाचल के सीएम वीरभद्र सिंह को पत्र लिखा था। इसमें उन्होंने बेटी की मौत के बारे में बताया था। सीएम का उन्हें जवाब आया और कार्रवाई का भरोसा मिला था। दूसरी तरफ उन्होंने पंजाब के सीएम, केंद्रीय सेहत मंत्री, पंजाब के सेहत मंत्री, पंजाब व हिमाचल के डीजीपी, आईजीपी चंडीगढ़ समेत कई मंत्रियों को पत्र लिखकर इंसाफ की गुहार लगाई है।

1. कमरे का दरवाजा खुला होना व दरवाजे में कोई तोड़फोड़ न होना।
2. जांच के समय पुलिस द्वारा फोरेंसिक टीम को न बुलाना।
3. कमरे में किसी तरह का कोई सुसाइड नोट न मिलना और न ही कोई ऐसा चिन्ह मिलना जिससे लगे कि सुसाइड किया गया है।
4. बार-बार पुलिस को कहने पर भी बेटी की डेड बॉडी न दिखाना।
5. बयान लिखते समय पुलिस का यह कहना कि हमें किसी पर कोई शंका नहीं पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर डेड बॉडी हमें सौंप दें। जब उन्हें गया कहा कि यह वह कैसे कह सकते हैं, तो उल्टा धमकाना।
6. अस्पताल की तरफ से कोई संवेदना नहीं।

7. मौत के तीसरे दिन बेटी का शव दिखाना।
8. मशीन में 24 घंटे रखने पर भी शव के मुंह से खून निकलना।
9. शव के दोनों हाथ बंधे होना।
10. डॉ. प्रतिभा के मुताबिक एनस्थीसिया डॉक्टर का अकेले बेटी के आवास पर रात को जाना।
11. खरड़ के डॉक्टर द्वारा रात को अस्वस्थ हालत में बेटी को घर पर छोड़ना, अस्पताल न ले जाना।
12.अस्पताल ले जाते समय जो वस्त्र बेटी ने पहन रखे थे, उनको रास्ते में बदल देना।
13. बेटी को अस्पताल ले जाने के बाद अस्पताल की दो डॉक्टरों द्वारा आकर सारे सामान को ले जाना।

After Gurdaspur attack, high alert in Tricity

Even though there was a high security alert in Chandigarh following the terror attack at Dinanagar in Gurdaspur, chinks in the city preparedness were visible. Around 9 am, a team comprising bomb disposal squad of Chandigarh Police, Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police with sniffer dogs and bomb detection equipment combed the Chandigarh railway station premises. Trains, railway parcel, luggage and the parking lots were checked thoroughly. The metal detector installed at the entrance was non-functional. In fact, the entrance to the station is unrestricted and easy. There are no checks even if someone enters the station without a platform ticket. Beggars and destitute are seen on the platforms. Moreover, most vulnerable is the entry from Panchkula side where no security arrangements are in place. Even a baggage scanner is not at the station. The Railway Protection Force, Railway Administration and Government Railway Police are jointly responsible for the safety of passengers. At the bus stand in Sector 17, a large number of policemen had been deployed since morning to inspect the passengers boarding and deboarding buses. But no such checks were being conducted on others coming to the bus stand through its numerous unmanned entry and exit points. The police at Sector 43 bus stand were checking passengers. Police officials were seen stopping all the buses entering the bus stop and inspecting passengers’ luggage. Speaking to Newsline, DSP (law and order) Roshan Lal said, “Around 600 personnel of Chandigarh Police, Government Railway Police, Railway Protection Force and Rapid Action Force were on duty in shifts of at least eight hours. Personnel of the mounted force and Indian Reserve Battalion were also summoned.” “Barriers and police checkpoints were put across all major entry and exit points of the city. Special security checks were conducted at the airport, railway station and the two ISBTs to to foil any form of security attack,” the DSP added. Panchkula Security was beefed up in Panchkula following the terrorist attack. Deputy Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar Dhawan said, “We had sealed the town, and stepped up security at all the entry points in Panchkula. The local bus stands were checked thoroughly, and police force was deployed at various sensitive places to check the vehicles. The police were alerted in the morning, and regular patrolling was done.” Mohali Mohali SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, “The entire force has been put on alert and check points have been placed outside all major points across the city. We are also co-ordinating with neighbouring police departments to make sure all entry and exit points near the border areas are under heavy security. We have also urged people to come forward in case they see an unusual person or any unidentified object.”

Sony Ericsson to roll out Xperia Neo V and Pro in India

Sony Ericsson plans to launch its three handsets in India on 18th October. The handsets which are ready for launch includes Xperia Neo V, Xperia Pro and Sony Ericsson Txt. The Xperia Neo V will be available at a cost of Rs.17,500 while the Xperia Pro costs Rs 26,000. The Sony Ericsson Txt will be available at a cost of Rs. 5,000.

The first device named Xperia Neo V features a 3.7 inch multi touch reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine. The BRAVIA engine is a technology which Sony already uses in its TVs. The new Xperia Neo V is an upgrade to the Xperia Neo and it is built with Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating and 1 GHz processor. Nokia kicks off E6 and X7 in India

Nokia, Giant mobile maker has launched its two fresh smartphones named as E6 and X7 in the Indian Market. Price of iPhone 3GS reduce to Rs 19,990

BSNL To Unveil 3G Services in Jammu and Kashmir

GSM telcos adds 14.49 million new subscribers in March

Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) reports that GSM mobile subscribers base increased by 14.49 million subscribers considering the total number of cellular users in the country to 569.55 million in the month of March. But at the end of February 2011, the GSM subscriber base stood at 555.06 million. The COAI data eliminates Reliance Communications and TTSL since it provides both GSM and CDMA services.

Vodafone Essar, the highest among all the telecommunications added over 3.68 million new subscribers with its total user base to 134.56 million. Bharti Airtel, Telecom Giant added over 3.20 million new subscribers considering their base to 162.20 million. Bharti Airtel has a market share of 28.48% while Vodafone has 23.63% market share. Aditya Birla group firm Idea Cellular added 2.70 million new users and Aircel added over 1.34 million subscribers respectively. In addition, State-run telecom firms BSNL and MTNL added 1.35 million and 20,720 news subscribers taking their subscriber base to 86.45 million and 5.19 million.

Micromax Launches ‘Lightest Touch Phone’ – Modu T 3.G

Micromax has engaged with Israel-based modu ltd. to bring modu T, a 3.5G touch phone that was awarded the Guinness World Record for being the lightest touch phone in the world. Adding, the Modu T has a 2.2-inch touch screen and a memory card with 2GB memory capacity that can be extended up to 32GB.

The phone is featured with web access, Instant Messaging, direct links to different social networks, a built in FM radio, GPS, music player. A wide variety of applications such as YouTube, Google Search, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, TuneWiki, eBuddy, Snaptu & operates on Qualcomm’s Brew operating system is available with the phone.

Further, the phone has two jackets that when connected, add new features to the phone. The “camerafy” jacket converts the phone into a camera with a 5 megapixel resolution and LED flash

Micromax said it is working with modu to bring in more fy devices in the near future to make the phone multi functional.

In India, the modu T phone will be available from October 22. As a launch promotional offer, it will come with pre-bundled with a 2GB memory card and both fy jackets with the price of the phone at Rs. 12,500.

Vodafone to start 3G services by January/February 2011

Good news for Vodafone customers. Vodafone India, which has bagged 3G rights for 9 circles across the country, has announced that it will start rolling out its 3G services by January or February 2011. Vodafone 3G services will be initially launched in Delhi & Mumbai circles and will be extended to other circles later on. Vodafone claims that with 3G they have attained a theoretical speed of 21 Mbps. As you read it here, Vodafone has already partnered with Nokia Siemens, Ericsson for 3G roll out

As for as other mobile service providers are concerned, Tata DoCoMo is all set to launch the service on November 8th and Airtel and Rcom is planning for a launch in Mid-November. Another leading service provider, Aircel plans to launch the service by Q1 of 2011. India is finally getting ready for 3G experience.

Buzzcity launches SDK for Android mobile phones

Global mobile media company BuzzCity today launches its software development kit (SDK) for Android following the recent success of its SDK for BlackBerry. The move will enable Android developers to embed advertising within their applications and games, providing a valuable additional revenue stream.

Dr. KF Lai, CEO of BuzzCity said: "Android is well positioned to power a large number and variety of connected devices in the near future. It is the only non-proprietary operating system that allows both developers and handset manufacturers to rapidly develop the user interface for new applications – and we believe that this gives it a greater chance of wider commercial adoption."

Currently, billing for Android applications is limited to certain countries. The new BuzzCity SDK means that Android developers can achieve global distribution of their games and applications, but still earn revenue beyond these countries.

A key cornerstone of BuzzCity's business model is to generate revenue by auctioning off mobile inventory to advertisers. BuzzCity supports inventory generation by creating its own proprietary mobile media.Revenue is earned on a 'per click' basis by gaining access to BuzzCity's global mobile advertising network, which currently serves 4.5 billion adverts per month.

Additionally, developers working with BuzzCity will be able to make available their applications to a wider audience through BuzzCity's range of mobile media properties, including mobile games portal, Djuzz, which delivers free and freemium games & applications for various platforms including Android.

Data from BuzzCity's global advertising network shows that of the top handsets used by consumers (Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson) the latter two manufacturers have at least 11 Android-based handsets.

Samsung targets 20% of India’s Smart Phone Market

South Korea based Mobile giant, Samsung mobile eyes 20% market share in the Indian Smart phone market by the year end. amsung Mobiles currently controls 17 per cent of the Indian mobile market on the basis of volume and 20 per cent by value.

Ranjit Yadav, director of Samsung mobile and IT business said in an interview, Samsung plans to have 8-10 smartphones this year across Android, Windows and Bada platform and is looking at notching up a 20 per cent market share in the total smartphone market in India by the end of the year.”

Samsung also plans to launch three new smartphones this month, as part of Samsung’s Wave series. All the three handsets will run on Samsung’s Bada Platform. The first handset running on Bada platform was launched in India this June.

India adds 12.4 million GSM subscribers in September

In the month of September, India’s GSM mobile subscribers base increased 2.58 percent with the addition of over 12.4 million subscribers with the state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. Adding, (BSNL) alone signing over 2.3 million users to gain a market share of 14.71 percent.

As per Cellular Operators Association of India, in the country, the total number of subscribers crossed 494 million as against 481 million the previous month. In India, BSNL added over 2.3 million subscribers, a growth of 3.32 percent over the previous month, to have a total of 72.6 million subscribers. Bharti Airtel, the Telecom massive added over two million subscribers, a growth of 1.44 percent as compared to the previous month, taking its total numbers to 143 million. And the operator has acquired a market share of 29 percent.

Over 1.4 million subscribers have been signed in idea Cellular, a growth of 2.03 percent as against August, taking the total number to 74.2 million. Currently, the company owns a market share of 15.2 percent. Vodafone Essar, in the month of September added over 1.7 million customers, a growth of 1.56 percent over the previous month, to have a total subscriber base of 115 million. Uninor, the new telecom operator showed a significant growth with an addition of over 2.2 million customers at a growth rate of 23.9 percent with its total number of telecom operators crossing 11 million.
