The airline industry has seen better days. With the cost of fuel survival of some of the big carriers is in question. Some talk of mergers between carriers could help but cost cutting measures have already been implemented. charging for a variety of services once considered part of the cost of buying a ticket.

Now shopping for the best deal is becoming mandatory, unless you are a corporate traveler, then it usually doesnt matter

For those of you with kids, the question are we there yet? has a fimiliar ring. When you take the kids on vacation, how do you keep that question from arising? With travel by car or van it has become easier with the advent of portable dvd players and hand help games. But sometimes even those can't hold the attention of the young passengers.
