Angelina Jolie, Future Face of Armani's New Perfume

UN Ambassador and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has signed with top fashion house Emporio Armani to become the face of their new Armani perfume.

The advertising campaign is said to kick off later this year in 2009. Jolie recently was listed as celebrity # 1 by Forbes Magazine, which could only have helped Armani wade through the candidates' list.

“For this fragrance, they needed a true A-lister, and Angelina is the biggest, most dynamic female star in the world,” said a source.

Jolie will have a creative oversight over the print and TV ad campaign as part of the deal.

Armani has previously announced that the model Kasia Smutniak would be the new face of its fragrance future "Idol", we do not know yet if Angelina will be the icon of the fragrance taking the place of the young model or a another fragrance which announced a year rich in Armani.

World's largest classic car auction company, RM Auctions announces its annual auction this August in Monterrey, California. One of the hot item is the legendary pre-war racer, the 1931 Miller V-16 race car.

Harry Miller was a renowned engine builder as well as a dominant in Indy racing and his cars took a swath of Indy titles during the time, back in the 20's and 30's. The 1931 Miller V-16 race car is the only one and the most advanced Miller he ever built. Bearing a 303-cubic-inch, 300-horsepower and sixteen-cylinder engine.

The car was restored in 1978 by Chuck Davis, who painstakingly tracked down the original engine, which had been separated along the way from its chassis, and reunited the two ahead of an extensive restoration project. The 1931 Miller V-16 is expected to fetch between $600,000 and $1 million range.

Currently, the royal family uses two planes from 32 Squadron at RAF Northolt but they are more than 20 years old and are deemed too unreliable.

By March next year, the Queen is taking delivery of a new Sikorsky chopper, a six-seater helicopter which will be leased for £500,000 a year, which is also scheduled to arrive next month.
