I was so happy to read it. Thank you very much. Similar to other devotees, whenever I feel depressed or lose confidence, I read this blog and it lifts up my spirits. Reading devotee’s Shirdi experiences makes me want to go to Shirdi. I'm hoping that this time, when I get an opportunity to go to Shirdi, I will have a good Darshan. Last time I became sick, when I was inside the temple and when I reached the main temple (Samadhi Mandir). I just sat down because I did not have strength to stand up and felt like fainting and throwing up. The kind security people did not object to me sitting there. I just closed my eyes and sat thinking how unfortunate I am that even after being in Baba's presence, I am not able to see Him wholeheartedly and worship him. Then, I just stood for few minutes, took His Darshan and came out. I thought that Baba has punished me for some bad deeds. Sorry for the diversion here. Now, I want to narrate another small experience that I had. Though it is small, I was thinking that I should write it.

My Shirdi Trip Experience

Here I started. On Thursday Morning, When I am done with my Guruvaar Vrat Pooja, I got some intuitions like Sai Baba is calling me to His Shirdi (a zillion dollar place). At noon, I discussed this thing with my friends, but all they had taken this thing in funny sense. But I did not leave this thing and tried my best to go Shirdi. At last, I succeeded and Baba helped in every corner for arranging this trip successfully. Seriously without His help, I would not be able to go there. Even Sai Baba woke me up at 3 AM, when I was in Bus and sleeping unconsciously. And moreover Bus conductor said that the bus will reach SHIRDI at 5 AM. But luckily I attended the morning Kakad Aarti and rest everything happened very happily. Thank you Sai Baba, You called me there and fulfilled my wish to see You and Your beautiful statue. Sai Baba, please always be with me and I hope I got select in my Forthcoming Exam. Thank you Sai Baba, You made me to write here. I am feeling very lucky after all these.

I have started a new job in the pharmacy department in California. It was going well for me, until a few months after starting the job. Others were complaining to my managers I don't work hard. I was making many mistakes, even though I have always worked hard and been very careful. I had a meeting with my managers, and they told me to be more hard working and more careful. I was very worried. I might lose my job, and I felt upset and angry that I try to work hard. But still I was not getting good results. This all happened just before my wife and I were going on a trip back to India. And I was going on my first trip to Shirdi. This whole incident caused me a lot of mental stress, so at Shirdi in front of Baba's Murthi, I asked Baba to please help me in my job and relieve my mental stress.

I am from a middle class family. In my childhood, one day, I went to Saibaba Bhajans with one of my neighbor’s aunty. I felt very happy and I used to go with her every Thursday for Bhajans. Somehow, I got inspired to read Sai Satcharitra Parayan. But we didn’t have a Parayan book at my home and was wondering how to get the book. To my great excitement, I got this Parayan book from the aunty. But it was in Telugu language and I was not so good in reading Telugu. I was too worried about how I should read this book. One fine Thursday, I prayed Saibaba and started doing Parayan book. Initially, it took me very long to read, but with Saibaba's grace and blessings, I was able to complete parayan in 7 days successfully. I felt really happy for making me do this Parayan. That’s how, it started my belief in Baba and till today Baba has been with me in all my up and downs in my life. With His blessing, I was able to do my MCA, and got married to a wonderful person and blessed with two girls and leading a happy life. I just wanted to start writing and sharing my experiences. There are a ton of experiences to share. I started with the one how Baba made me do parayan with me, who don't know how to read Telugu very well.

I have had a bad habit of stealing since I was a child. I tried my best to get out of it, but I just felt compelled to do it. I moved to US and as you know they have open merchandise in this country. I started picking up a few things, when I was in stores. That went on for many years and lately (since the last 2 years) it increased even more. Please bear in mind, that I did not have any kind of financial problems or issues. It was just compulsion. I started going into stores just to lift things (things that I did not need at all). Baba gave me several warnings and each time I would apologize and go on (because I could not stop myself).

Finally a few months ago, he dealt with me in the right way by giving bitter medicine to child to cure him of the disease. I went into a store to buy a frame for Baba’s picture (I had the picture with me). I bought the frame and a few other things and lifted a few things too. As I was paying for the stuff I bought, Baba reminded me one last time not to do it. But again in my own (bad) way said this is the last time and will not do it again. As I was leaving the store, a guy walked up to me and said that I want to talk to you about the unpaid merchandise in your bag. I was shell shocked and could not say anything. In short, he called the police. I was arrested and released on a bond. All this time, I was in a shock and was not realizing what was going on.

Baba, I am extremely sorry for the delay in posting my experience with You. I shifted Australia in 2009. I had a really hard time for getting decent jobs. I was not happy with the conditions I was going through, but still I managed daily to bear decent rented house to stay with family. Here we just had couple of friends, and completely strangers in this country.

Then things even got worse, when my wife got diagnosed with cancer last year. I didn’t know what was going on. I was thinking that I didn’t have good job and that was the worst thing and all of sudden this illness came and I was mentally totally broke. I don’t know how to manage, of my take care of toddler, my wife with her illness, or go to work. As the treatment was very serious somebody has to be with her all the time in the hospital. I was not able to keep my son in the childcare full time as it’s very costly here.

Shirdi Padayatra 2012 (Shraddha Padayatrik Mitra Mandal)

In the year 2010, during one of my visits to Shirdi, I saw a big group of people (Padayatris), who had walked the distance of Nashik to Shirdi, a distance of almost 100 km. After that, I read about Mumbai to Shirdi Padayatra online (it was a very brief article) and I became very interested in participating in one such Padayatra myself. Since I stayed in Hyderabad, getting in touch with Padayatri Mandals and groups in Mumbai was very difficult and more so there was not much contact information about such Padayatras on the internet .

I used some websites like Fropper, indiadivine.org and also www.shirdisaibabaexperiences.org to let people know of my intent to do Padayatra with a hope that someone would contact me to join them for a Padayatra. But nothing came out of it until June/July of 2011. One gentleman named Nivas contacted me and informed me that there is a group leaving for Shirdi in the next couple of days. But that was too short a notice for me to take a break from my work for almost 2 weeks. I had to let go off that opportunity at that time, but Nivas did inform me that there will be another one in December.

This is Kabirdas Doha, which I learnt in my school days, which applies to one and all and particularly to me. I used to pray to Baba like anything to fulfill my wishes (Job and my other personal problem). I daily used to go to temple and pray to Him. I used to tell so many things to Him about my problems.

Then suddenly, one night I cried a lot before Baba idol and asked Him to help me. I asked him like anything. Then suddenly my eyes fell on one book brought by my roommate “Saibaba's question and answers book”. I took it and prayed to Baba and opened one page randomly with saying my problem and asking a solution. With closed eyes, I pointed my finger on one answer from that book, in which I got a reply like “Reading Guru Charitha on Ugadhi (South Indian's New Year) will solve my problems”. With a little hope, I slept that night and waited for Ugadhi festival day.

It happened in the year of 2008, when I was pursuing last semester of my B. Tech. degree. I was very good at studies (One of the toppers). However my talent is limited to only WRITING exams. I have very poor communication skills. Basically being a very shy girl, I never used to attend any seminars, group discussions, debates or anything, which requires bold presentation of one’s views. When campus interviews were on, I used to fail in interview round, though I very well managed passing written tests. I lost in many MNCs like Infosys, Wipro etc. Even if I performed well in some interviews, for no proper reason, I used to get rejected. I was very much disappointed. Besides this, there was one more problem. Our family, especially my mom believes a lot in astrology and future telling. One day a tribal saint, who could tell the fortune of a person on looking at his/her face came to our home. On looking at me he predicted that I had “Nagadosham” (curse of goddesses of serpent) and that is the reason why I haven’t secured a job in spite of having talent. As a remedy he gave me a copper dollar containing the figure of three headed serpent and asked me to wear it on my chain. I and my mom could not deny his words.

Baba Appeared In My Dreams

Sai Brother Avinash ji from USA says: Sairam. I would first like to bow to the lotus feet of Baba for taking care of all His devotees unconditionally. Also I would like to thank you for doing such a wonderful job. It’s when the chips are down and nothing is going our way that we need to go and gather courage and faith that Baba is with us and the hardships will pass. I personally think Baba just tests our faith, while He is right beside us every minute.

I wanted to share a dream which occurred in 2009, in which Baba assured me that I will get a job. A little background at that time is here. I just finished with my masters in the USA. I didn’t have any job. The girl, I loved left me. I had no money and was living with roommates and was even ashamed to eat because I wasn’t paying anything. But yesterday something happened and for that particular thing to happen, I had requested Sai Maa that I will post it if You grant this wish of mine.

My husband is a Software Engineer. He had to clear one certification exam. He was really tensed and I was also very nervous because this was really an important exam. Only few members from his office had been selected for this exam. He too was the one despite having joined this organization (which again was a miracle of our dear Babaji) only last year. He did not want to let down the faith that his management had shown in him. The exam was to start at 7 PM and being Thursday (Though he intentionally opted for this day as we both consider Thursdays to be really auspicious), I had to read chapters too from Shri Sai Satcharitra as a part of the group parayan.

After four long days' gap i am resuming posts on this blessed blog. I know you all are missing updates here but there was no option left for me. On January 13, 2012, with lots of difficulties i shared that day's post, because my stomach was upset very badly. Soon after that i caught fever and since i was alone the whole day, i had only choice to be in bed without any medical and physical aid. In the evening my parents came to see me and were with us till late 11. Before they could leave, my aunty called and informed my mother that her mother (my grandma) was having some problems in breathing and they took her to doctor around 8 P.M. Now that she is feeling she is now discharged and taken to home. If her condition deteriorates in the night, then they would take her to nearby city the next morning for further treatment. This was a shock for us! My grandmother had been suffering from blood pressure and diabetes since long. But never ever it happened that situations got so much worse that she had to be admitted to hospital. We were convinced that her condition is not that much critical and her hard time had passed away because doctor discharged her at 10:30 P.M. But at about 1 A.M. she breathed last due to heart-attack. While my parents were concerned about my health the whole day, at night they received news of my grandmother and they had to rush to her. Yesterday i talked with my real brother who stays in Mohali (Chandigarh, Punjab) for studying masters, he said that he was also not doing well on January 13, 2012 (the same day when i and grandma were not well). I told him to take care of his health and i request all our Sai readers to pray for our health.

A curious thing can be noted here. All three of us were not well on the same day. My grandma was 85+ years of age. I have seen her suffering from above mentioned diseases since my childhood. When her time was nearing, she suffers to the highest level only for 5 hours which is very less in this advanced age. What i feel here is that Lord Sai Baba did what was written in destiny, but He divided her pain with my me and my brother. I am happy that Lord Sai Baba considered us worthy for bearing our grandmother's pain. He always does what is best for us, and this time also i believe to be so. But the loss of our grandmother is difficult to get compensated. My grandfather is 90+ years of age and this loss is greatest for him to bear. All the day he is crying and we all are much worried for him. I request you all to pray for him to recover from this hard time and Lord Sai Baba gives him courage to overcome grief. This time is very difficult for my family to pass. We all know that all of you are with us alongwith blessings of Lord Sai Baba.

Sai Baba Showed Me His Presence

With the permission of LORD SAI, a few days ago on Thursday afternoon, I was watching Sai Baba Aarti live on TV. We have a big calendar of SAI on our wall, which we brought from Shirdi. When Aarti started, I prayed to Baba on calendar to please do something to show me His presence. At the same time, I laid on my bed watching Aarti.

For a moment, I felt bad and I thought that I should sit properly during the Aarti. I said sorry to Baba, and suddenly a bright light sparkled from His left hand, which He keeps in His right leg. I became stagnant for a moment. Tears rolled down from my eyes. I made a call to my mom and my husband. I was very happy. On that day, I felt that Baba is with all who utters His name.

How I started doing Sai Satcharitra Parayana?

I am married living in USA. Before marriage, I worked in India. When I came here, I wanted to start my work again. But I was facing visa status problems and also no one is ready to transfer dependant visa to work visa. Somehow, I came to know about Sai Satcharitra. When I told my husband, he told me that he did once and he had the book, which is in English. Just one day before that, while cleaning house, I trashed some papers and rearranged things. When I asked my husband, he showed me the place where he kept the book and it turned out to be the same place, which I rearranged. I felt guilty that I might, by mistake, trashed Sai Satcharitra book too. I called few friends here who have that book. They said that they were also doing so couldn’t lend me. I left it like that.

Please do not disclose my details in the blog. We are from Bangalore. We (My parents, In-laws and my sisters) are ardent devotees of SAIBABA. I strongly believe His presence in any act I perform. I have many experiences which have proved SAI BABA’s existence and would like to share two of the experiences with all the devotees of SAI BABA.

The first one is, SAIBABA saved me from a calamity. My wedding was arranged with a person in 2009 October. I met this guy through matrimony and felt he is a decent guy. He along with his mother visited my house to see me in Bangalore. The guy looked very decent and my parents and I decided to proceed further. We got a “Yes” from their side also. My joy knew no bounds at that time. I thanked BABA for showing me such a nice educated family. We had to visit his house in Andhra to go ahead with the other talks. When I met this guy for the second time in my uncle’s house, my heart didn’t agree to him. Something inside was constantly pricking me to withdraw my Yes to him. But I could not do so as we had already informed my relatives about this proposal.
