NightHawk v1.0

Night Hawk is a breakout strategy that looks at the highest high and lowest low between 22:00 GMT and 05:00 GMT (7 Hours).

It then sets pending Buystop and Sellstop orders at X pips away from the high and low (Order_Gap variable), ready to catch a breakout. If neither order is triggered by 21:00 GMT then both orders are deleted.

This expert differs from Azure Dragon because AD uses one hour to calculate the breakout range where as NightHawk uses seven hours.

It is very similar to many of the breakout systems that are on the market today such as Forex Morning Trade, Forex Signal Base and Forex Fisher Bot but this one is different because it’s:

• More configurable.
• Supported here on ForexIsBiz by me and the community.
• Open to suggestions for improvements and upgrades.
• Has a built in indicator that uses the EA’s settings to display the range, the order gaps and the profit target for as many days as you like (e.g. past 100 days) making it very easy to visually back test.

NightHawk includes all of the features I now consider standard such as:

• AutoGMT Offset
• Trailing Stops
• Manual Summer / Winter GMT variables.
• Break Even
• Auto / Manual SL
• Money Management
• Auto ECN / STP detection.

Here is a description of NightHawks important variables:

Close_Opposite_Order: If TRUE, once one pending order is opened, the opposite pending order is deleted.
Order_Gap: The gap, in pips, you want the pending order to be placed above the high and below the low.
SmallRange (when StopLoss_Mode = 0 (Auto)): I found that small ranges often caused triggered orders to be stopped out before the breakout occurred because the stop loss was too close. If the range is equal to or less than this pip value, the Stop Loss will be set to the opposite orders open price (i.e. the range high/low + Order_Gap). If the range is greater than this pip value the Stop Loss will be set to the range high/low only. This just gives more breathing space to orders on small ranges.
BreakEvenStartPips: The amount of pips in profit that NightHawk should move the SL to break even.
BreakEvenProfitPips: The amount of pips in profit that NightHawk should consider as the break even point.
StopLoss_Mode: Auto is explained in SmallRange variable description above. Manual allows you to set your own fixed SL using the User_Stop_Loss variable.
ShowIndicator: Shows you the range, order gap and profit target on the chart.
NumberOfDays: Draws the indicator on this number of days.

MTF BarPower Indicator

What is the MTF-BarPower ?

This tool show the current "force" of the current bar. I believe since I started trading and creating tools that we have many pairs linked together (different groups of pairs) so each group usually follow the same direction or opposite (correlated/uncorrelated pairs). This is not a new idea of course (we all know the pairs correlation) but I am convinced that this is the way we have to look to filter our trading. So each pair "force" result is based on the others pairs "force". I've also introduced in the formulas a "reactivity" value (settable by user). This could be compared like a "period" for a MA. Higher is the value, smoother is the force reaction. Each TF with its own settings so any trader will find his own way according to his own risk.

Note: there's absolutely no indicators (standard or custom) involved in this tool. All is price, pairs and timeframes.

What is the benefit of using it ?

Whatever your trading style, you always need to know if you trade in the right direction. The MTF-BarPower indicator will tell you not only if this direction is right ... but also the 'force' of this direction.

How to use the MTF-BarPower ?

So many ways in my opinion!!! My first goal when I create a tool is to complement/confirm the trading of the traders. After observed it for a while, I found that even standalone it can be used. A basic way will be when all Timeframes agree at a certain level, wait the smaller Timeframes like 1-5 or 1-5-15 to retrace in the opposite color ... then when they resume to the right color and reach the right level, go in that direction. This should be one of the ways to enter or re-enter after a retracement.

You will need to apply it only on 1 chart to view all timeframes 'force'. The best part of this tool is that you can be alerted (email / pop up / sound) when any of the timeframes reach a defined level. You will be able to set each timeframe with a different level alert. Flexibility 100% !!!

What Is Cruscotto?

The Cruscotto is the ultimate currency strength/weakness indicator. It monitors the status of the 8 major currencies (and also gold and oil) in real time using the data coming from 6 different timeframes: from as short as 15 minutes up to a month of data.

Why Use Cruscotto?

This will give you not only an overview of the currency situation, but also details on how it is performing in the short term as well.

The strength/weakness score goes from -100 to 100 and is calculated using all the pairs in which the currency is involved it. So when for example you see a strong EUR and a weak USD that means that EUR is strong vs all the other currencies and vice versa for the USD. That makes a long trade on EURUSD much more interesting.

Analyzing the single currencies, Cruscotto will help you choose the best pairs to trade. Simply take the currency or currencies that are stronger and match with those that are weaker. You can easily view that the stronger ones have green histograms and weaker ones are red.

Also when the score is more or less of a limit (a sort of signal zone) the text label of the period becomes green/red accordingly. This is the signal or at least the first half. Now to be sure, you need another pair that in the same timeframe that gives the opposite signal, and you can enter a short/long trade on that pair.

but the win ratio is more than 90%. You will rarely see this ea lose ever.

MAs, and combination of two indicators

Again, yes, this ea trades a few times a month, but try to use calculator,

LAGUERRE: Laguerre line must cross the 0.15 from below and head up
MACD: signal MACD must be above 0
STOP LOSS: below recent LOW
