I have been in sales for over 20 years and I am here to tell you this can make or break your biz.  In sales, this fear is called “The Fear of Rejection”.  The fear of rejection is a bank breaker. Many network marketers believe all they need to do is send out a million emails and that telephoning a prospect is a dirty little job that they no longer need to commit to. Bite the bullet. Don’t fall into this trap.   I must confess I hated picking up that phone and dialing that number.  I made learned a long time ago to get over it and go for the positive results…a thriving client base.

Tip 1: MAKE THE CALL

Yes, I discovered that not making those calls had a direct affect on my pocketbook. When I started calling I also started making more money.  So, make THE call. Call each and every person who signs up on a lead page.  There are several very important keys that you will need to follow to escalate your business to an even higher level.

Take a look at some of  the positives that will launch your business into the next realm by following these 3 easy steps.

You will uncover critical facts by calling all your newly acquired leads or prospects:

1. The lead may be a competitor and just checking you out.

When you call your prospects you need to know exactly what to say.  I am a firm believer in being prepared. DO NOT WING IT!!

When the prospect answers the phone don’t go on and on and on about you, your experience, your college degrees, your family, your income, your sorry job or the local weather. Trust me, the prospect (s) do not care. They only thing they want to hear is what you can do for them. Or, as I like to call it…

WIIFM?  What’s In It For Me!!!

Here is my powerful  online prospect/lead conversion script.  I use this no brainer of a script when contacting all of my new prospects and leads. This script is guaranteed to convert all of your new leads and prospects to loyal fans. And, it will separate the ones who are just along for the ride. You should be getting leads everyday by now. So, you should make your calls everyday.

Do Not Let Your Prospects Die On The Vine! This script grows cold and loses its conversion power with each passing day!

Hi,   <prospect’s name>    My name is  <your name> and I own an online business < state briefly what the business does  ”teaching and training internet marketing concepts” > I am not calling to sell you anything. I am calling because you contacted me recently. You completed a form online in regards to our  <state your offer “FREE internet training”> requesting more information.

Now give a quick brief explanation about your offer:

You: In our training you will be following a simple step by step program using our online training site. This happens right on line making this a true home business opportunity that is easily duplicated. In order to make that happen we are willing to help you to have a better lifestyle and soon earning <state income potential do not over exaggerate> $1,000 to $10,000 per month within the next year. And, that’s working part time from home.

Bottom line, we teach you how to set up and operate a <Second Income Coach office> working from your computer and the comfort of home.

2. BUILD RAPPORT: Transition to this critical step and remember to smile

Remember that your prospect does not want to here about your primary biz, your college degrees, how much money you make, your mother in law, where you grew up, where you live, the weather, forget it. They only want to know WIIFM (What’s In It For Me!!) So give it to them. Ask about them, ask the following questions and  listen carefully (take a note or two if you like).

You:  <Prospect’s name>…

1. …are you willing to commit to creating a second income? How much would you like to earn?
2. …what is the reason you’d commit to creating a second income?
3. … how much time will you be able to work weekly to achieve your goals?
4. …what benefits do you like the best?
5. … just how serious are you?
6. …what can I do to help them solve your problem(s) or issue(s).

3. THE CLOSE:  If they responded “YES”  to committing to a second income and working a weekly goal (1 and 2 above) ask the following:

You:  If I showed you a killer system that would help you start generating hundreds of leads even while you sleep or take vacation, would you be interested in that?

Prospect:  YES!  (If they say yes please continue. If they say no, you really know what to do here.)

You:  Ask 3 or more yes (only) questions

Now you have determined if you have a quality lead, a suspect of a dead beat. Now it’s up to you to place them in your follow up system as hot, warm or cold.

It’s all in the Key Words.  Most newbies or so-called marketers ( the ones in trouble) select their keywords after they write their article(s).  They simply scroll through the text and select the most important words. How do I know? Ah-ha…I gotta confess. I did it. And, it cost me a bunch. Or, here’s another costly mistake, some marketers simply grab their Key Words, or adwords, or tags right out of thin air! Yikes!  That is one of the most deadly mistakes evar! Don’t do it!

What are Key Words?

According to Webster: A Key Word is a word that is used as a pattern to decode an encrypted message or  a list of words or phrases that explain symbols or abbreviations.

According to Business Dictionary.com : A Word or phrase employed in narrowing down a database search. Keywords are central to a subject matter and, when used with Boolean search parameters (‘And’, ‘Not’, ‘Or’) work like a ‘filter’ to reduce the number of documents located (returned) by the search engine.

How To Use The Best Key Words

If you are serious about building a powerful site and generating tons of leads, the first step is to use find and use powerful keywords. No matter what your blog or website is about the right keywords will  jump start your organic traffic and blow away your competition.

Step 1 ~ It all starts with Key Word reseach

First rule, decide which specific keywords or phrases to compete for. DO NOT select your key words after the fact. Research your key words first and check the stats for each word/phrase and decide if you have a chance to win it or own it.  If you write your article first you will probably have to rewrite it.  This is the main reason for proper keyword research should be first.  Select a few choices. Now, take the list of keywords/ phrases and create the content based on these keywords and keyword phrases. You will need good key words for blog posts, web site pages, videos, just about everything you put on line that you want to get read.

Step 2 ~ Now write your content

This is the biggggest mistake almost all web site writers make. DO NOT WRITE THE ARTICLE FIRST.  SELECT YOUR KEYWORDS FIRST!!  THEN WRITE THE CONTENT!! Create web pages, articles, blog posts, squidoo lenses, hubpages, videos, etc. Yes, even videos. The idea here is to create good, quality content with dynamic key words that will get your item/post read or watched.  Once you have selected your key words use them in the title, in the description and in the body of the content. Yes, sprinkle them though out the article.

If the articles(s) or video is already posted and you are experiencing little or no traffic, take the time and go back and make the necessary corrections where ever you can. But, it’s best to start all over again with the best key words if possible.

Step 3~ Get off to a good start with fantastic Key Word Tools

Getting started with dynamic keywords is easy if you have the right tools. By doing so you will get off to a fantastic beginning with jump start your traffic.
