Does the toolbar affect page loading time?

What about images?
An average toolbar contains more than 30 different images (!). Wibiya uses a unique ‘Spriting’ system. This means that every icon, photo or image is encapsulated within a single graphic file. Even when you upload one of your own images, the toolbar will automatically create one graphic file from all the images. This method reduces of the number of calls for graphic files to only one call! Google recently made Google Voice in its Gmail service, allowing your microphone-equipped computer (Mac or PC) to call any US or Canadian landline for free within your email. That's the best such service we've seen. (For comparison, Skype currently charges 2.1 cents/minute via pay-as-you-go or 1.2 cents/minute on a monthly plan for computer-to-landline calls.)

Of note, international calls are also possible but do cost more. See Google's country calling list for fee rates.

Due to placing the hand over the antenna on the left-hand corner of the phone many iPhone 4 users are experiencing a loss of signal strength, dropped calls, and also, data connections.

The Microsoft Corp. has presented to developers the ninth version of the browser of Internet Explorer. On the company plan, the refreshed program should reduce backlog from competitors, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera.

According to the spent tests, IE9 much faster the predecessor of Internet Explorer 8. Besides, the new browser has bypassed on speed Opera 10.10, however 10.50 development of Microsoft has conceded to program Opera.

One of features IE9 is convenience in operation with video- and audiofiles. To look rollers and to listen to music in the ninth version Explorer it is possible without installation of special plug-ins, such as Adobe Flash.

Hello,

Are your ads as attractive to your prospective customers as they could be?

Your customers choose to go to your website over your competitors' based only on what they see in your ads. If your ads don't grab their attention, you could be missing out on valuable sales, leads or traffic.

I don't know what to put in my ad. Help!

As a basic rule, use clear, well-written, and specific ad text to highlight the differentiating characteristics of your product or service. The idea is to attract the attention of those who are looking for your product or service.

Tips to create a compelling ad:

Use a strong call-to-action (for example: 'Buy now', 'Call today')
Include prices
Include special offers and unique selling points
Make sure the text is highly relevant to the keywords in each ad group
Use your keywords in your ad
Direct users to the most relevant landing page on your website with a specific destination URL for each ad

What does a good ad look like?

Here are examples of both a good and bad ad so you can learn what works.

The good…

This headline focuses on the specific offering and contains relevant keywords (eg. SLR Digital Cameras)
This description details specific product offerings and benefits

What's wrong?

This headline focuses on a company description instead of on core selling points and the keywords that trigger it
This description is too general – it would be much better if it focused on specific products or services offered by the company – and it doesn’t contain a call to action
This destination URL leads to the company’s home page, rather than to a page promoting a specific product or service

Please note these examples are fictional and are intended for illustrational purposes only.

I've written a good ad, but is it attracting customers?

You can check your ad performance on the 'Ads' tab in your account. Look at the clickthrough rate (CTR) of each ad to see how many people clicked on your ad after they saw it. Ads that produce a relatively low CTR (e.g. less than 1% on the search network) can often be improved by implementing the tips above and learning from the example.

You can easily test multiple ads in each ad group, each with different offers and call-to-action phrases, to see which ads perform the best. Even subtle differences could have a big impact on your success.

We suggest testing 2 to 4 ads in an ad group at a time. This will help you assess what works, at no additional cost. AdWords will rotate your ads and automatically show the highest-performing ads more often. Then, you can edit or delete the ads with the lowest CTRs and repeat the test to get the most successful ads possible. Learn more about how to assess your ad performance.

If you have ever noticed a button that says "Feedback" on it. That is Get Satisfaction button to our Explore Computer World Get Satisfaction community where we were answering questions. Today, I got email from their team talking about changes. So I have posted it here for you:

Changes coming to Get Satisfaction

Hello,

First of all, we'd like to thank you for being a part of Get Satisfaction. You've helped us become the most popular network of customer communities on the Web since our launch a little over two years ago.

We wanted you to be one of the first to know of some exciting changes to our plans that we'll be announcing over the next few weeks.

We will be announcing a new lineup of plans that make our most popular features even more affordable, starting with a new entry-level offering that includes moderation tools on a limited plan for under $20/month. This will also include a 14 day free trial so you can try it out before making a purchasing decision.

As a part of this shift we are making some changes to the free service. While hosting a Get Satisfaction community will continue to be free, all moderation actions will require upgrading to a paid plan. Currently, official reps and admins in free accounts have the ability to set an employee reply as the best answer from the company, as well as to set the status on a topic. These actions will now require a plan that includes moderation tools.

More details will be coming soon, including a live webcast followed by a Q&A session. We will send out details for the webcast later in the week.

How to stop Google Buzz from showing in my Gmail?

An extension of its Gmail platform, Google Buzz allows users to share photos, links, status updates and videos through Gmail or through mobile technology that is very similar to Facebook and/or Twitter.

It uses an algorithm to add friends based on those with who you communicate with the most. And it uses your Google profile for your information.

If you like me and Google Buzz is not your thing? You can switch it off (stop showing) altogether.

Just scroll all the way down to the bottom of your inbox and look for the link underneath your quota usage informational message.
Click "turn off buzz" and you won't be bothered anymore.
