Sun Pattern Kid Keds

2010-10-20T21:31:00.000-07:00

Sorry guys, haven't update the blog or post any new products for a while. We are trying to put our illustration portfolio together so that we can bid some jobs.

Anyway, just created a new pair of kid keds. I don't have the link to the product page yet but here is the pic:

Anyway, I have been quite busy lately working on my husband's band. They have been playing on thestage.tv pretty regularly and making a very good progress. You can check them out at http://www.sektauband.com.

I just hope I have all the time I needed. Just thinking about my dream last night while I am typing just now. I had a dreamt last night that I was told praying did work. So I prayed in my dreamt that we would have the money that we need. Then suddenly, tons and tons of money raining from the sky!

I was crazily gathering all the cash on the group and told others that I was rich then I woke up. Well, what a dream. Will this dream ever come true??

LOL!

Simple Tank Pattern Shoes for kids

2010-09-22T23:45:00.000-07:00

Well, I am kind of tired right now and really need to go to bed. I still need to go take a shower. It's been crazily busy at work this week that I am just simply burnt out. Anyway, I just wanted to say Happy Mid Autumn Festival! Don't know what that is? Go look it up. It's a really big thing for Chinese, almost like Christmas for Americans.

You can now play games, look for freelance jobs, watch videos, read articles here. Also, don't forget to visit the fun corner.

We are trying to put our illustration portfolio together. Hopefully, it will be done soon. I am going to try to post some new products tomorrow!

Green leaves mouspad

2010-09-15T17:08:00.000-07:00

I am not sure if a lot of people in America do that or just the people I know here in America do it. Do what? Well, people here like to use paper plates and cups at all time even at home. I thought it was kind of a waste. I don't know I certainly don't do that. I meant unless we are outdoor. We seldom use paper plate and cup. Anyway, I think we should really think green. We see the advertisement all the time that we need to use less paper. I guess school or publisher really should start thinking about e-book.

In Hong Kong, students need to bring their own books start from kindergarten. Books are really heavy and expensive. I meant really if every student only need to buy an Amazon kindle or an ipad when they first start school it will actually be a lot cheaper than to buy books for all the years. Also it is a lot lighter for students to carry their school bags.

I hope you enjoy this green leaves mousepad while we can still see some green!

First of all, it's my birthday today! Well, I know it's nothing special about that. I am just an ordinary person.

Anyway, we celebrated my birthday yesterday because my husband had band's practice tonight and they were trying to do a live show on thestage.tv and I really wanted them to do it so I went with him to practice and helped them set up the sound and everything. Well I know nothing about setting up sound I just helped by clicking some buttons. I think they did pretty good. Do you want to see the performance? I will show you right after this new star pattern keds shoes for kids.

Ok, it smoothes out the dirt for stuff like roads building. I guess we need a grader in life to smooth out our road right now. We certainly are going through some tough time right now and hopefully soon our roads would be smoother.

3D Flower

2010-09-09T18:33:00.000-07:00

It's kind of boring at work. Sometime I just wonder when I would be out of this kind of routine: going to work, come home, have dinner and work some more.

I really would like to be my own boss soon. I am really tired of a regular job that doesn't give you benefit and you can't take a day off just because you are bored or sick of work.

I think 1 thing I really like being my own boss is that I can work whenever I want and how ever long I want. Well, I meant at least for this zazzle business I can pretty much have control of everything. That's the one reason that we want this to work. Also, we can work wherever we want to. We can be taking a vacation and still work at the same time as long as we have our laptops.

Anyway, I hope the day come soon before I go insane........haha, I don't think I would but I would really appreciate that the day come a lot sooner.

The design I am showing you today was finished for quite a long time and I am just now getting around to post it on our store. My personal favorite for this design is the necktie. I just think it look really cool.

M4-A2 Sherman Tank

2010-09-08T17:36:00.000-07:00

Well you are probably getting bored of the heavy equipment series so let's take a break from that today. Today, I am going to introduce you our newest illustration : M4-82 Sherman Tank.

One of the most recognized tanks of WWII, The Sherman tank, used throughout the second world war, and the war in Korea by the US Army and Marine corps. it saw action in many theaters during these wars including all of Europe,The Japanese held islands including Okinawa, Saipan and Tinian, etc. and was a very reliable tank, although under armored, and undergunned when facing the german armor. However, against the Japanese tanks like the Ha Go tank, the Chi Ha and others the Sherman did very well and dominated them on the battlefield.

Ok, Happy Labor Day?! I guess! Anyway, what did you do for your holiday. We as usually don't have anything fun to do so we were looking to buy a car because our car have been having some problems and my husband is sick of fixing it. We went to a car place today and told them that we were interested in one of their car. They made us wait there more than 10 mins and finally the manager(owner, don't really who he was) came out and told us to come on back. I thought that was wired, we were supposed to look at the car. So after we went into his office, he asked us what he can do for us. So we told them that we are interested in one of their car. He asked us how much can we put down. My husband said that we are going to pay cash. He said I don't sell anything cash then told us about the down payment and monthly payment blah blah blah . I meant, first of all, we haven't even really look at the car yet not to say test drive. 2nd of all, they won't accept cash was really wired to me. After he said how much the down payment is going to be we instantly just walk away. We just felt like he was trying to scam people in paying really high interest rate so that he can make more money because he did in house financing.

Anyhow, this is our labor day fun. Here is the 3rd design of our new cartoony heavy equipment series:

Ok, here is the 2nd designs of our cartoony heavy equipments.

Bulldozer Infant Creeper by Explorer Designs

I created a facebook group for Explorer Designs because it seems like "group" is easier to communicate to your members than "page". Anyway, Please join our group! Explorer Designs Group . Thank you very much!

So I had to change it

2010-08-31T22:23:00.000-07:00

I showed my husband the bumper sticker I made and he said I should say

Forklift Bumper Sticker by Explorer Designs

So there I changed it!

By the way, let me tell you about my driving. I actually got the learner permit last year and it is going to be expired in 2 weeks but I don't think I can really drive just yet. I need more practice. I can't remember if I had blog about it or not but one time when I was practicing parallel parking, I bumped into his truck.........

I am not good at driving at all. I wish I didn't need to learn how to drive but what choice do I have?!

New cute and cartoony heavy equipment series

2010-08-31T17:41:00.000-07:00

As I said yesterday, there are tones of new designs for me to post for our store. Therefore I am going to start with the heavy equipment series. The first one is this cute forklift illustration:

We think this design quite fit the baby creeper, what do you think?

We also have it on mug and bumper sticker:

All the keywords are fixed!!

2010-08-30T21:47:00.000-07:00

Finally done with fixing all the keywords.

Time for me to start my marketing plan. I wish I have more time to put into our business. Sometime I just feel so tired after work I just don't want to touch our store but I know that if I don't put in any work I wouldn't see the result I want.

We made some sales lately and it really did motivate me quite a bit. It's hard to work on something that you will never see the result. I hope I can keep up the momentum and do what I need to do even tho it's hard and tiring.

Anyway, my husband said that he has more than 20 new designs waiting for me to put up to the store so hopefully I will get around to it tomorrow.

I don't think I have shown you this:

Freaky Fly Mousepad by Explorer Designs

Pretty scary actually.

And this one:

Yeah!!

2010-08-28T16:26:00.000-07:00

Believe it or not! Our website is done! Next step is to fix the keywords on our products. It should be pretty quick.

We are going to designs some skateboards and hopefully they will be up for sale soon. I can't wait to show them to you!

Some new designs

I am trying to get the website done so if you are visiting and see something isn't working, please excuse us. It will be done soon. I promise.

man, I am so tired!

2010-07-31T22:00:00.000-07:00

Oh man, I am so tired right now. I was trying to work on my store but my brain just wasn't working. I kind of got a side job and I have been working all day long today and today is Saturday which usually is my day off!

Anyway, I just have so much to do and not enough time. I really need to get our products more popular, I did tried a few things but they don't really work. I guess I wasn't consistence enough, I don't know. It's hard to continue on something while you don't really see any results. However, I should tried some of those method again maybe this time I will used them a little longer.

Oh man, I am just tired right now.

Here is my to do list:

post products on store
change keyword, description on products
update blogs
update facebook
make videos
active in youtube
active in blog catalog
link review, referal
and some other things for my husband band

on top on that, I need to go to work everyday. 24 hours a day isn't enough!

I haven't make any videos for more than 2 weeks because I am just so tired and I am not about to scare anyone by my tired look!

Hopefully, I will be able to get to it soon!
