I won't say it isn't complex, but it can redefine what it means to be an American.

First we have to be commended for be willing to face this strong issue, finally. Michael Savage of Talk Radio has said it right for many years, Border, Language and Culture is his mantra.

Borders because we must protect our selves, economically, legally and morally from those who are UNWILLING to become legal citizens.

We can not merely allow anyone to come back and forth as they please.

So now step 1 is closing our borders, until we have had at least 10 years of no more illegals.

Step 2, is what do we do with those who are already here.

1. If they do not pay taxes and do not have criminal records, and they are willing to work hard and become Americans, make them go thru the full legal process. Until they are full legal immigrants, all their money gets taxed to pay for all the costs they have incurred on our economy. They can either work hard and be legal, or get out.

We simply do not have endless financial and medical resources to pay for those who will not try to be a full american.

2. Anyone who has a child in america who is not an american, children do automatically gain citizenship, altho like any other immigrant can go thru the process..

But until they have completed it, can not be inside America.

Either pay and be a full legal american citizen by having gone thru our process, or you get out! Or we will kick you out!

More to come this is such a deep topic...

Why are judges so important?

It's not complicated, but sadly some people want laws passed instead of going thru the legislative process, force it thru the legal/judicial process..

And that has to stop, each division has it's role, in government, and we need to enforce that role divisionality. In addition, we need to help them work together better as well...

For example, I strongly believe the Supreme Court can suggest to Congress that they create certain laws related to cases they take on. But no decision of the Supreme Court can be used to circumvent the Constitution.

I am saying if you want change go thru the right process. Legislature exists to create new laws...

I also say it's time to get rid of malpractice and trial lawyers. Unless it's obvious neglicience there has to be other ways to help accidental medical cases then force the medical industry to be blackmailed.

Which is the whole truth of what's going on. Trial Lawyers have hooked people on wanting money thru courts, instead of justice, we're just seeing legalized theft.

Do our laws matter, if not, then leave the country.

Until the laws change, we have to abide by them, no matter how hard they get..

To me the Supreme Court appointment should be about who enforces the current laws, according to the constitution, instead of being the way certain political parties get new laws passed....

Until this changes thru federal, state and supreme courts, our law will be a complete joke.

Think about it.

Understanding of Evil

I have been a person that has experienced both sides of the good/evil. Because of that, I have a perspective, on how we can finally cure it, or treat it. More so than, just putting them in jail.

The key is to understanding, why people become evil.

Most of them, do not understand how to get happyness in the normal way. Have low self-esteem, and just can't seem to find a way to get happy.

It sounds like an over-simplification, but it's true.

Most people want to find the simplest of happyness, family, love, kids and some measure of respect and recognition.

But a lot of us do not know how to get there, or to pay our dues, so that we can earn what we want out of life..

But evil is not merely evil, it is also our teacher. Dennis Quaid, was a great selection, to play the same part.

But it's sad that there aren't any modern day Jimmy Stewart's.

When World War 2 came along, he joined, not in some safe desk job, but as a bomber pilot, and he worked his way up to be a General of Fighter Planes.

That's the kind of actor, i like, who doesn't mind showing his pride for our country.

But neither political party is perfect, i realize now it never will be. Until the power is back in the people's hands.

I just see more and more people, seeing the constitution as something to be changed rather than enforced, and that bothers me.

It really saddens me that courts try to modify the consitution thru precendence, instead of realizing that it's up to legislature to write law, and the courts to enforce the law of the land.

It's sad that their only weapon of change is the courts and they use it to get laws passed that, the people of the land, don't want passed.

The DFL used to be the party of the people, for the people. Instead they have become the party of give the entitlements to as many as possible to help get more votes.

Stop the borders from working, destroy our education system, and just throw money at problems, hoping money is enough. And tax the rich as if the people who work hard for their money are responsible for the poor.

We have to accept responsibility for our own lives, if we're not happy or healthy or wealthy, then do something about it.

And as the DFL has more and more deteriotated into being a shouting/screaming match, instead of trying to actual solve problems.

The Republicans have problems as well, in how they want to deal with Illegal Immigrants, not getting rid of the IRS, and going to a National Sales Tax.

If we want to be a great country again, like how Ronald Reagan says, "The Big City on the hill."

Then we must work together towards common goals.

Like freedom, liberty, prosperity and happiness.

We need to learn to be civil to each other again...and find ways to work together, for common goals, and then try to resolve issues politely...

Is that really too hard?

Because yelling solves nothing.

1. We must understand that capitalism is a better solution than socialism, because the harder you work, the more you get. With socialism there is no motive to work hard, and the economy goes downhill because of that.

2. We must reward hard workers with by letting them keep their own money.

More to come...

After the Election

Here I am, glad that President George W. Bush, and wondering if everything I wanted is attainable.

He's going in the right direction for the war, put more people in, get it settled quick, let the iraqi people create their own free/democratic government...

Then gradually let their own police/military take over...Which may take a year..or less or more...

But now there's the handling of immigration and budget. We do need to improve our military spending, so that if we need to take action, we won't run out of personnel or supplies, as we had thru all of Clintons, peacekeeping actions.

Military is meant for war, not for peacekeeping.

There is a realistic need to prepare ourselves against real enemies, on the other hand, the increase in pay for federal employees, amnesty for illegal aliens, and increase in budget deficit cap limit, are those the examples of a Fiscal Conservative?

Being a fiscal conservative means spending little, but doing much. Or that if we do spend money, it has to be towards a specific goal, with a plan to realistically attain that goal. And if that goal can not be met, then no spending is allocated.

Let's face it, George W. Bush is a Moderate Republican. The things he does so well on, do over-shadow the things he could improve upon.

We all realize there's no way Senator Kerry was competent to handle the U.S. Government in wartime, or actually anytime..

But now where do we want to go, as a people and as a nation?

I do have a libertarian bent, that tells me that we need to control costs, and aim for smaller government persistently.

Not no government, not anarchy, but a government that urges, encourages self-responsibility.

What do you think?

Declaration of Responsibility

We've been raised on the importance of our Declaration of Independence, as our stance of not being dependent on other nations, and to declare our freedoms. This was great, and is part of our national heritage.

But as our national character has changed, I think it's time for a new declaration, a declaration of responsibility.....

We are all so tired of the degradation of our families, neighborhoods, cities, states and country, that in order to rectify it, we need some changes.

The country was founded to be run by the people, for the people. Which is great for giving citizen's rights, and select powers to those in office and governmental positions. But what about Citizen Responsibilities?

Have we forgotten all that we lost, in order to gain our rights, only to turn our country into just another degenerate european country, that has falled into corruption, and building and peoples that are just falling apart?

Well I think it's a time for a change, an improvement.

Our own parent's have caused us conservatives, to idolize the 1950's, there were some great and some horrible times. But we must move forward, have new ideas, new visions, new plateaus to conquer.

In order for our country to have great leaders, we must again, become a great nation of responsible citizens.

It's been to easy to be lazy, and just let everything go to heck, well let's wake up, and get started on our work....

It's sort of like the feeling of a new father/mother or husband/wife, realizing that not only does he/she have the responsbility for the work at job, but also has responsibilities at home, to take care of the kids, pay the bills, take the trash out, etc....

Now we must gradually assume new responsibilities, in the following declaration. I only pray that God loves my words and that I can only aim towards Thomas Jefferson's standards.

Declaration of Responsibility

We the people, run this fine nation, from fast food workers to ceo's. We are the fuel that makes this country work from day to night, etc.

We may be a nation of great workers, but are we a nation of great citizens?

We formed this nation to be free, freedom from tyranny of economy, religion and spirit. To find new frontiers where by our own efforts create a better home and world for our own children. Isn't that at heart, the foundation of the American Dream? To create a better world for our children.

We have all these great rights that protect us from each other, criminals and all those who would abuse or tormet us.

But what have we done to pay for those rights?

Is it enough to just pay your taxes and vote regularly, is that a full payment of your rights to be a citizen?

I say no!

If you can look around your neighborhood, either as a home-owner, or renter, and:

1. Do not know any of your neighbors, or meet with them on regular basis.
2. Ignore any of the trash on the streets, or graffiti on the walls, because you are afraid
3. Do not even take care of your place, to show that you take pride in your home.

There is this mental picture that to be a cooperative neighbor, like Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, means you are a mentally challenged person. That is not true.

If we want a better world, how can we dare make that happen, unless we start by having better neighborhoods?

We have in the Bill of Rights a list of rights, now I declare a Bill of Responsibilities.

Bill of Responsibilities

1. We are responsible for visiting with all our neighbors at least once every 2-3 months. Getting to know your neighbors, will create that cooperative willingness to look after each other, to protect, to create a friendlier and safer environment for you and your kids.
2. You must have a clean home inside and outside, we're not asking for perfection, but that it is sanitized, reasonably clean lawns, and drive-ways. Do this not for us, do this to become an example of a good parent, a good homeowner. You wonder why so many kids have bad habits in cleaning up their own rooms, when we do not really take care of our own homes so well?
3. We must set educational expectations for all our kids, that they can not leave home, until they can prove they can read, write and do math. We do not need to have college educated children, but we must have educated children, whether it be home-schooled, private or public schools.
4. We must make an effort to smile more, say hello to people we meet on the street. Wouldn't you rather have a 1000 smiling hello's than 1000 people afraid of being victims, or too hurried to even enjoy beautiful days?
5. We must visually and emotionally demonstrate our pride for our neighborhoods, cities, states and country. You are more than entitled to disagree, or to urge differente economical paths, but as President George W. Bush says, you are either with us, as a nation of American's, or against us. For example, if you are against the war, that's fine, but you must still support the troops, understand the distinction.
6. Have neighborhood charity programs where you run events to raise money, or do activities to improve the quality of life.
7. Support your Fire, Police, National Guard and Armed Forces. We know when they make mistakes, but how often do we give them recognition for when they do good. Please let us give back to the people who everyday protect us!
8. Treat all government programs, as money coming directly from your pocket, too often we have distanced ourselves from who the source of these free money giveaways, such as those advertised by Matthew Lesko. The government does nothing to earn money, except by collecting money to pay for programs, defense, organizations. It's your money not the governments, so less taxes, means we can keep more, and spend it where we choose.
9. Respect the Congress, Senate, Judicial and Presidency. Treat it with honor and respect the position deserves. You can still vote/not vote for people, but it's time we showed respect for those people, who everyday work to create a smoother running government. And maybe if we showed up enough times, they'd be more motivated to make it better for our individual needs as well.
10. Run for local government offices, if we don't like how things are run, then run for office.

Regarding number 10, I have two great stories to tell.

For example, former actor/singer Sonny Bono entered politics after experiencing great frustration with local government bureaucracy in trying to open a restaurant in Palm Springs, California. With local conservative talk radio host Marshall Gilbert as his campaign manager (and later as the godfather of his two children by his new wife), Bono placed a successful bid to become the new mayor of Palm Springs. He was instrumental in making the city more business-friendly and for spearheading the creation of the Nortel Palm Springs International Film Festival, now held each year in Bono's honor. After unsuccessfully running for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 1992, Bono was elected to the United States Congress in 1994 to represent the 44th Congressional District of California. He introduced the controversial Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act during his tenure to benefit the music industry and also championed the restoration of the Salton Sea, bringing the giant lake's plight to national attention. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich made a public appearance and speech at the shore of the lake on Bono's behalf.

And then there's former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, he got interested as a child into politics, because there was this zoo that wasn't doing things right, so he went to City Hall, and got involved to make things better.

From top to bottom, what makes this nation great are it's people, it's not the dollar value, it's not our technology, it's not what party we belong to. It's the people with our desire to have a common bond, to unite us as one nation under God.

The old melting pot story, we keep all our heritage, but to enable us to work together, we use a common language, english, and each of us works hard to put food on the plate, raise our kids right and create a better world for our kids, then what we had.

The last thing I say, is that no money, nothing can take away from the values of character and integrity, it's one of the things that makes American's so interesting.

So let's work together as one nation, to make our families, neighborhoods, cities, town, states and country the best place it can be.

After all, there's no one else who will, and are you really happy with the way things are?

God Bless all of you..

What makes a great president?

In the last 40 years, our ideas of what a good/bad president has come to challenge us, and make us identify what a great president is...

This was reviewed on Fox and Friends, a couple weeks ago.

But what struck me, was that this former liberal reporter, started to tell the truth.

That our idea that intelligence equals great president is not true.

That all this slander of specific Presidents not being intelligent was a complete lie, specifically President Ronald Reagan.

This goes to the issue with the problems with Liberal Democrats today, they have no desire to have honest conversation, so that at the very least we can be civil, and at least understand each other's point of view.

But this Modern Liberalism, is a method by the rich democrats, to use emotional language that causes their consitutioncy to depend on them and bigger government to take care of them, until we are like how Communist Russia used to be.

I am not here to insert that every democrat is evil or idiotic or anything like that. Most of them are very nice people, who don't understand the reality of certain situations, or don't want to face them, and therefore become emotionally defensive when challenged.

We are now part of the natural slide from Permissiveness to Prudism, which is a natural ebb and flow through out the cycles of time.

And let's just say that President George W. Bush wins, will that make all our problems go away, assuming that Republicans in political domination will behave differently than democrats fighting to keep their power?

Power does corrupt, so we must have a balanced and incremental path to keep balanced.

Well what does it take to make a better America?

Well it depends on what you consider a better america. Do you want to create a communistic world where, it is incredibly poor service, and hardly anyone has a job, and if they do, they don't work hard, since hard work is not rewarded or recognized.

Or a world that depends and rewards individual effort, and drive to be the best.

Either extreme is not perfect and get swayed into areas we need get in.

So what must be done, once the election is over?

1. Permanently fix the tax code, to just a sales tax, no more tax codes, and fire the IRS. It improves revenue gathering, while also simplifying how we pay it.

2. Move all social security monies into personally managed medical savings accounts. And make participation voluntary.

3. Change the SEC/Wall Street system so that it completely elimits all game playing, and that the only reason to participate is to invest in a company for growth reasons. It's become too much a gambling institution

4. Tort Reform - If you want to make a suit, plaintiff's have to pay a mandatory $100 to start a suit. Also completely eliminate precedence. Courts can send messages to legislature to suggest that new laws be created, but can not over-write or interfere with current lawas, unless life/death of person is involved. And if they interfere, then it is on a case per case basis, not on precendence...

5. Ticket System - Police can stop you for bad driving or speeding but they can not penalize you unless you hurt someone or cause damage. But they can make comments that get on your record and communicated to your insurance company. That is mandatory, no matter how small it is.

6. State Colleges must become privately funded, unless they prove to be able to meet merit performance standards.

7. Elementary to High School - each class must both pass statewide tests for certification of grade level, and also compete across the state, and the school with the most passing and higher scores that percentage gets that percentage of their state funding. Compete and Earn it and you get it.

8. State/Federal Government Program funding - all programs must have yearly/quarterly goals, to both reduce spending 10% from last year, and to meet measurable goals. Also there shall be a committe of congress/senate to identify pork programs that have to be killed. And they also identify programs that really are not needed. Another part of their role is to identify programs that have over spent and over budgeted in the last year, and sue the management and creator of such programs for that extra money. We must spend money and time only on really good programs that actually reach measurable, determinable goals...

Anyways that's just the tip...

Like going over all laws, legislation to simplify the language, identify the original intention, and if the law did not accomplish the intention, or if the intention was immoral or unconstitutional then it is to be immediately retracted.
Scoutmaster's Minute No. 49 of 63 - Our Moral Compass -

Scoutmaster's Minute No. 49 of 63 - Our Moral Compass -

"A compass is a simple instrument. It reads the magenetic forces of the earth and points to magnetic north. If you get it too close to another magnet, it can give you a false reading. In the hands of a skilled scout, it can help keep you on the right path.

In the Scout Oath, we promise to be morally straight. There are influences giving you false information, but if you remain true to the morals you have learned from parents, church leaders, and scouting, you can keep on the correct path."

This is just a brilliant but simple explanation.

But it strikes so true, to each and every one of us.

Think about it, tell me what you think?

Diversity vs Melting Pot

When I was a kid in Elementary School, they taught us and showed us films, how we are 1 nation, a melting pot of races, creeds and cultures, and that is what makes us strong.

The diversity is not what makes us strong, it's that so many people can come together for a common vision, freedom, liberty, and to hope for a better world for their children or grand-children.

My own grandfather, Morris Rothstein, came from Russia, when he was 15 years old, and that was in the early 1900's.

Was he a smart or skilled man, no? But he was willing to do whatever work he could do so that he could feed his family and educate his children.

Every day he worked at low-paying jobs, just to provide a better world.

Well now here we are, is this that much a better world?

In some ways yes, we have longer healthier lives, in terms of our bodies.

Our minds have newer knowledge, technologies and methods to work and play with.

But our souls are less enriched.....

I'm saying it bluntly, we've lost touch with what makes this a great nation.

Because in the 1960's to 1980's we became a me country that cared more about credit cards, Cell phones, gears and gadgets, sex and music....

Now when you focus a whole couple decades on a certain spectrum of life, there are other parts of life that tend to get neglected.

1. How do we connect and raise our children, who raises our children, us or someone else?
2. Do we even have families or marriages any more?
3. Do our children know why to get married?
4. Is there any committed relationships anymore?
5. Do we get along and know our neighborhoods anymore?
6. Do we even care if how the ethical and moral consequences to our decisions, now and in the past?????

I don't think so, the secular life has taken over completely.

Now I am a former secularist, in that as a child I was always running away from belonging to religious services, but as I grew older, I realized, the importance of morality and character and integrity.

Of course there are imperfections in all things, even in religion. But the lack of religion, really hurts us as a people and a nation.

Because even with all the problems Religion has, it still makes a more ethical, responsible and moral country.

We are not here to shove a specific/religion down, but to show the importance of a moral compass, that we need to be raised and trained for that. I am not saying secularists/athiests can't develop one, but so far they havent' created a system to reinforce a moral compass.

It comes down to your moral compass, what you think right and wrong is.

I mean, it shows how down the hellhole we've gone, when we try to remove the 10th commandment from our legal courts.

More to come...

Who are your heroes?

Heroes can come in any shape, size or sex.

To me, a hero is someone who stands up for a strong moral purpose against those who would do harm, or inhibit our freedoms.

The special thing about America, is that we were built to be a land of heroes.

Where any man/woman anywhere can step up, and become a hero.

And I'd like to remind you of, my current heroes:

1. Ronald Reagan - He was so much smarter than he let anyone know, but he lead with a moral vision, and never let anyone get in the way of that.
2. Todd Beamer - He showed the power of the everyman, that we can choose to die fighting evil, rather than let others die in our name.
3. President George W. Bush - Simply he knows who the enemy is and goes after them. He's not a great president, but he does have a good moral compass.
4. Newt Gingrich - He was a historian, who dreamed of a better world thru the Contract With America. He still has something to offer us, if he wants to.
5. Abraham Lincoln - He's my hero not because of the slavery, but because of his persistence in life.
6. Ken Starr - He had to be neutral in trying to investigate the most evil/crooked President we've ever had. That took a lot of strength and moral endurance.
7. Marget Thatcher/

Here are my top list of villians:

1. Bill/Hillary Clinton - Not for being on seperate party, that's their right. However they are so crooked, massive liars. They may be popular, but they are the most immoral couple ever.
2. Osama Ben Ladin - Just kill him. No need to waste words on him.
3. Michael Moore - Simply a populist liar/thief/crook. Trying to pose himself as a documenter.
4. Al Gore - Does he ever tell the truth? Nope.
5. Jimmy Carter - He created more ways for our enemies to attack us then any other president. As well as making treaties/deals left and right that he never enforced. Look at how he flopped up North Korea, just giving money, in the hope they'd not be evil. You can't treat evil people as if they can be civilly dealt with.

I mean, I am not saying there aren't bad repulican people, such as Jack Ryan or Richard Nixon.

But let's focus on truth for once, if it's true, then let's make sure that bad thing never happens again.

But the problem, the media and democrats just lie and lie and lie.

It proves my point that the urge for secularism only destroy's our moral compasses.

And that's why democrats are secular, the more immoral you are, the less likely you are to object what the democrats are doing to you?

Oh you just got paycheck, what percent is left over from gross to net? Has that difference grown or shrunk?

Well if you want actually to keep your money, start voting for more and permanent tax cuts.

Reagan-Economics works, we've just proven it again and again!

A Moral Vision

As we think and pause on the lessons learned from the late and great Ronald Wilson Reagan, it comes clearer and clearer to me at least, a moral vision.

As we have ascended from apes, to intelligent and civilized men/women, our paradigm of survival and economics have changed.

From hunting/gathering to agricultural methods of eating and keeping our families safe and alive, our methods keep changing and growing.

Economics is the common driver of all mankind today, either by our means of attaining food on our plate or by the reasons we work hard.

Economics forces us to either work or steal or die, there is no doubt about it.

So it is imperative to understand how economics shapes us, as well as how we shape economics.

It comes from this immoral fallacy called fairness, that life is expected to fair and easy, instead of what it really is, challenging and striving.

It comes down to a moral understanding of that economics, which can be very subtle. Just like the story of the pilgrims.

There was 1 man in the day of the pilgrims who refused to work, instead demanded food, instead of working. Captain John, denied that option, and forced that man to either to choose to leave the pilgrims and be on his own in the wilderness or to work. And that man realized the consequences of his choice, and chose to work for his food.

Each day we make decisions, some good and some bad. But as moral beings we must be aware of the consequences of those decisions.

In my own experiences in marriage and relationships, I learned an important lesson on give/take, on how vital it is to have a balance of give and take between people.

When that balance goes awry then people give too much or take too much, and end up destroying the relationship.

That also applies to us as American Citizens, we need to understand the give/take balance in how we live, breathe and inhabit the American life.

It starts with the moral vision of what America is about.

America is a melting pot, with people all over the world, who came together for a common dream, a common vision, a common bond.

To live in freedom from persecution, tyranny and evil.

But for America to really work well to provide that freedom, that requires that we all give back to America everytime we take something from it.

Instead of worrying about your next charity, try adding some of these on your list:

1. Take pride in your home and neighborhood, help each other, help America reclaim that old Neighborhood feeling.
2. Do not depend on the government for handouts and entitlements, when you are more than capable of working yourself. Work is God's greatest joy and pleasure.
3. Reconnect to your highest morality centers, go to church, synagogues, where ever it is that you look upward towards.
4. Let's all say goodbye to the credit card world, because we are not impressed by massive amounts of broke people, who way over spent their credit limits
5. Say hi to your fellow neighbors, get to know them.
6. Be a gentleman or gentlewoman, in being considerate and compassionate to everyone around you.

I don't claim to have all the answers, but is the America we are today, anything like what the founders imagined?

I say definitely not.

1. Government is way too big
2. Overspending is too much
3. Taxes are too high
4. Neighborhoods are not helping each other out, and creating that neighborhood unity
5. We don't take pride in ourselves, our families, our neighborhoods, our cities, our country.
6. We try too hard to maintain multi-cultures, instead of becoming 1 nation under god, with 1 language
7. We do not maintain our borders, to help maintain a rational measure of citizen growth.
8. Businesses are way too over-regulated
9. Those in power are as equally communist as those Ronald Reagan fought and converted
10. China is slowly showing that they are becoming the number one power, so be aware!

So bring back the core of American values....

Remember America's Moral Vision!

God Bless All of you!

OpinionJournal - Peggy Noonan

OpinionJournal - Peggy Noonan

She tells it right, of a man who'd change the world. out the President Ronald Reagan has just passed away.

What a deep and saddening loss for our country.

President Ronald Reagan, truly was one our countries greatest presidents.

He took us from a time of Worry in Iran, and huge financial problems as caused by the Socialist President Jimmy Carter.

He was a leader through and through.

He had a lot of heart and integrity, and he was a fierce warrior of great ideals.

Because he has this great vision of how great a country America really is, that if we can get our act togeter, and do the right thing.

And because of his honest sincerety, we believed and fell in love with America again, he has passed on so many amazing lessons to help us understand what good government really is like.

For example one of my favorite quotes is:

"Peace through strength"

Simply meaning that evil people/enemies do not respect anything but strong responses, so that to gain peace we must be strong.

And that is so true in current times as well.

But I really want you all to think about him, the 80's, and let us honor him in his passing.

God Bless You President Ronald Reagan!

Great Comeback

From an unknown source:

As some of you may know, one of my sons serves in the military. He is
still stateside, here in California. He called me yesterday to let me know
how warm and welcoming people were to him, and his troops, everywhere he
goes, telling me how people shake their hands, and thank them for being
willing to serve, and fight, for not only our own freedoms but so that others may
have them also.

But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at
yesterday, on his way home from the base. He said that ahead of several
people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha. He said when she
got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the US flag lapel pin the
cashier wore on her smock.

The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said proudly, "yes, I
always wear it and I probably always will."

The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to stop
bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi.

A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around
my son's shoulders, and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle
voice to the Iraqi woman: "Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women
like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY
country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is my
belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn't
need to be there today. But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out
so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to
Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR country that you are
obviously here in MY country to avoid."

Angry Veterans Demand Kerry Stop Exploiting Them

Angry Veterans Demand Kerry Stop Exploiting Them

This is one of the things that irritate me about Presidential Nominee John Kerry.

I am going to say I disagree with him on his policies, if he ever actually sticks to his policy decisions.

But mainly I have a lot of disrespect for the man, because of how he, himself helped to end the Vietnam war with us losing, with help
of fellow demcorat Walter Cronkite, of course.

But here's the point, despite all his veteran/war protesting now he wants to claim as if he is the ally of the Veteran, when he's really
the enemy of the veterans.

I really do not feel he is qualified to run during the war years, if ever.

Thank you.

George Tenet Resigns As Director of CIA

My Way News

I am not sure if this was another scapegoat, found and shot, or whether a sign of real problems with our security.

Let's face it, under former Presidente Bill Clinton, we had more open doors, less security. News - Pope Worries About 'Soulless' U.S. Life

I am not a christian man, but even a Jewish man, can understand how valid what he is saying.

Simply the media, ACLU and the Liberals are all for destroying religion, so that they can stay in power and over-ride any possible moral force in our country.

I agree the church has had a lot of problems, but going away from religion is not the answer.

My unfavorate former-governor Jesse Ventura once said, "Organized religion is a crutch for weak-minded fools". And has he acted in a moral fashion? No.

If you don't want to be a religous person, fine, then lead by example the life of a moral man or woman without religion. I do believe it is possible, but is it necessary?

Okay, I know religion has it's problems, but we need to focus on the good things and how to improve religion.

The key benefit of religion is:

1. A central standard of rules to hold people to a higher moral standard of behavior and actions.
2. A unifying force to help us stand against horrible events or evil peoples
3. A healing, enlightening way to help us heal ourselves and our friends and neighbors
4. A way to how we treat others.

I am not here to shove a specific religion down your throat, but how many religious-bashing people have acted in a moral fashion?

It's more of a communistic method to attack our strengths. Sure there are problems, but do we avoid dealing with them or get stronger by facing the harsh truth, and then learning and moving on from there.

We are a free nation, but we are also supposed to be a moral one.

That we know what is right and wrong.

That when it comes between choosing the easy thing or the hard thing, we always focus on doing the right thing!

God Bless America!

From 1 Jewish Republican
<link rel="related" href="http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=518&u=/ap/20040528/ap_on_re_eu/vatican_us_1&printer=1" title="Yahoo!
