How To Have A Great Conversation With Anyone

The art of conversation takes practice, and is not as hard as you might think. It will take some knowledge, practice, and patience, and you can learn to relax and enjoy a great conversation. With these tips you will be well on your way to having a good, meaningful and entertaining conversation with anyone!

Make a good first impression. Smile, ask questions that require more than a yes/no answer, and really listen. Maintain eye contact and keep as friendly and polite as possible.

Listen. This is the most important part of any conversation. You might think a conversation is all about talking, but it will not go anywhere if the listener is too busy thinking of something to say next. Pay attention to what is being said. When you talk to the other person, injecting a thought or two, they will often not realize that it was they who did most of the talking, and you get the credit for being a good conversationalist – which of course, you are!

Find out what the other person is interested in. You can even do some research in advance when you know you will have an opportunity to talk with a specific person. Complimenting them is a great place to start. Everyone likes sincere compliments, and that can be a great ice-breaker.

Ask questions. What do they like to do? What sort of things have they done in their life? What is happening to them now? What did they do today or last weekend? Identify things about them that you might be interested in hearing about, and politely ask questions. Remember, there was a reason that you wanted to talk to them, so obviously there was something about them that you found interesting.

Forget yourself. Dale Carnegie once said, "It’s much easier to become interested in others than it is to convince them to be interested in you." If you are too busy thinking about yourself, what you look like, or what the other person might be thinking, you will never be able to relax. Introduce yourself, shake hands, then forget yourself and focus on them instead.

Practice active listening skills. Part of listening is letting the other person know that you are listening. Make eye contact. Nod. Say "Yes," "I see," "That’s interesting," or something similar to give them clues that you are paying attention and not thinking about something else – such as what you are going to say next.

Ask clarifying questions. If the topic seems to be one they are interested in, ask them to clarify what they think or feel about it. If they are talking about an occupation or activity you do not understand, take the opportunity to learn from them. Everyone loves having a chance to teach another willing and interested person about their hobby or subject of expertise.

Paraphrase back what you have heard, using your own words. This seems like an easy skill to learn, but takes some practice to master. Conversation happens in turns, each person taking a turn to listen and a turn to speak or to respond. It shows respect for the other person when you use your "speaking turn" to show you have been listening and not just to say something new. They then have a chance to correct your understanding, affirm it, or embellish on it.

Consider your response before disagreeing. If the point was not important, ignore it rather than risk appearing argumentative. If you consider it important then politely point out your difference of opinion. Do not disagree merely to set yourself apart, but remember these points:

It is the differences in people–and their conversation–that make them interesting.

Agreeing with everything can kill a conversation just as easily as disagreeing with everything.

A person is interesting when they are different from you; a person is obnoxious when they can not agree with anything you say, or if they use the point to make themselves appear superior.

Try to omit the word "but" from your conversation when disagreeing as this word often puts people on the defensive. Instead, try substituting the word "and", it has less of an antagonistic effect.

Consider playing devil’s advocate – which requires care. If your conversation partner makes a point, you can keep the conversation going by bringing up the opposite point of view (introduce it with something like "I agree, and…"). If you overuse this technique, however, you could end up appearing disagreeable or even hostile.

Do not panic over lulls. This is a point where you could easily inject your thoughts into the discussion. If the topic seems to have run out, use the pause to think for a moment and identify another conversation topic or question to ask them. Did something they said remind you of something else you have heard, something that happened to you, or bring up a question or topic in your mind? Mention it and you’ll transition smoothly into further conversation!

Know when the conversation is over. Even the best conversations will eventually run out of steam or be ended by an interruption. Shake hands with the other person and be sure to tell them you enjoyed talking with them. Ending on a positive note will leave a good impression and likely bring them back later for more!

Warnings

Choose carefully when asking personal questions. You do not want to venture into overly personal issues. Even if the other person might be willing to talk about it, you may end up learning things that you really do not want to know. You certainly do not want the other person to think afterward that you coerced them into revealing personal information.

Be sincere! Compliments are great, but too much flattery is obvious and will reveal you as being insincere.

Beware of topics that can be inflammatory – such as religion and politics – and don’t venture into them unless you know the person has roughly the same convictions as you, or the circumstances otherwise allow for pleasant discussion. Again, it’s fine to disagree and can be nice to talk about differences, but it can also be a quick step toward an argument.

Try not to argue! You do not have to agree with everything someone says, but you do not have to tell them all about how you disagree. If you feel the need to explain an opposing viewpoint, express it simply and without putting the other person on the defensive. It is better to simply change the subject in a casual conversation than to get involved in an argument.

Try not to nod or respond with "Yes" and "I see" so much. It might make the person think you are bored and sometimes it may seem like you are rushing them along. Never say anything hurtful or offensive to the other person, this may project a bad feeling between you.

If it is a planned conversation, try listening to the news in case you run out of thing to say, it is always a good solution.

Also try not to cut the person off mid-sentence. It seems disrespectful and it makes it seem like what you have to say is more important than what the other person has to say. Let the person finish their thoughts and then continue on with thoughts of your own.

The screen is 3.8 inches and has a resolution of 800×450. The back boasts a 5mp camera with 720p video recording.

The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread (a 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is promised) covered with Samsung’s Touchwiz 4.0.

The phone is currently unavailable in some places but should cost around Rs. 26,000.

LG Optimus 2X – Rs. 27,990

And right they say that old is gold. LG Optimus 2X was the first phone of the world with a dual-core processor. The 1Ghz dual-core processor is backed with 512 Mb RAM.

The internal storage is 8Gb along with a microSD card slot. The screen measures 4 inches big with a resolution of 800×480.

The camera in this phone is of 8mp resolution with 1080p Full HD video recording. But as the phone is old, it has an uninspiring design. LG Optimus 2X runs on Gingerbread for now.

The price of this phone has dropped to Rs.27,990 at homeshopping.pk.

LG Optimus 3D – Rs.32,990

Perhaps the most special of the lot, LG Optimus 3D, as evident by its name has dual-cameras with a stereoscopic screen. Add some special 3D apps as well and the result is a unique phone which is worth showing of.

It has got a 1Ghz Dual-core processor with 512 Mb RAM. The screen is 4.3inches big with a resolution of 800×480.

The back sports 2 cameras of 5mp resolution. They can also capture 3D photos (in 3mp resolution). The phone comes with the outdated Android 2.2 (upgradeable to Android 2.3). The internal memory is 8Gb with a microSD card slot. The price for LG Optimus 3D is Rs.32,990 at homeshopping.pk.

HTC Evo 3D – 36,500

HTC Evo 3D is said to be an ultimate entertainment device. It comes with 1.2 Mhz dual core processor with 1 GB RAM and in addition to 1 GB internal memory.

HTC EVO 3D will allow you to capture high resolution 3D photos or videos and watch them in 3D on a 4.3 inch qHD screen.

HTC EVO 3D is priced around Rs. 36,500 in Pakistan.

GOOGLE+ No Social Network said by Google Official

A top official of the company said that, Google+ is not a social network website and it is not directly competes with Facebook.
"It is a platform which allows us to bring social elements into all the services and products that we offer. So you have seen YouTube come into Google+; you've seen Google+ with 'direct connect' go into our search business", the Telegraph quoted Google's Chief Business Officer Nikesh Arora, as saying.
"We are trying to make sure we use social signals across all of our products... It's not just about getting people together on one site and calling it a social network," he added. However, " there are some features on Google+ which compete with some features on Facebook," he added.

Letting Israel off the hook on nuclear weapons

Stuart Littlewood takes a look at the warmongers in London and Washington who are dancing to Israel’s clamour for war on Iran over its alleged nuclear programme while turning a blind eye to the Zionist entity’s own substantial nuclear capability, estimated 400 warheads.

What a spectacle they make of themselves, whooping and stomping to the frenzied beat of Tel Aviv’s drum, their dumb-ass chant getting ever shriller.

You can read about it on a British government website.

"The UK and many other countries have serious concerns about the Iranian government’s policies," says the Foreign Office, "its failure to address serious international concerns about its nuclear programme; its support for terrorism and promotion of instability in its region; and its continued denial of human rights..."

I really thought they were talking about Israel and had got the names muddled up. But no! "On Iran’s nuclear programme, we are actively seeking a solution through diplomatic engagement and sanctions to encourage compliance by Iran with the requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and six UN Security Council resolutions."

“…what are we supposed to call an Israeli who rejects a perfectly reasonable Arab peace deal – like “get off our land and there’ll be no trouble”? What do we call an Israeli who defies international law and denies the human rights of others? An Israeli who treats UN resolutions with contempt?”

Wow, does this means that Israel, which Iran is supposed to be threatening, is an innocent victim of Iranian aggression, is a menace to no-one, is suddenly cooperating with the IAEA and is now in full compliance with all those UN resolutions?

This is hot news!

The Foreign Office goes further: "Iran’s backing of Hizbollah in Lebanon, Hamas and other Palestinian rejectionist Groups..."

Just a minute. What exactly is a "rejectionist group"? I had to look it up in the Oxford dictionary. A rejectionist, it says, is a person who rejects a proposed policy, especially an Arab who refuses to accept a negotiated peace with Israel.

Ah. So what are we supposed to call an Israeli who rejects a perfectly reasonable Arab peace deal – like “get off our land and there’ll be no trouble”? What do we call an Israeli who defies international law and denies the human rights of others? An Israeli who treats UN resolutions with contempt?

“Rejectionist” Israel

Rejectionism is an Israeli thing; it’s what they do, they specialize in it. Israel, let’s face it, is king of the rejectionist business.

All this sabre-rattling and talk of pre-emptive strikes against Iran is getting on everyone's nerves. Iran, after all, is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and Israel is not. What does that tell us?

The treaty dates back to 1970 so Israel has had more than enough time to show good faith and come on board with the other 189 state parties. The NPT has more signatories than any other treaty of its kind. The only refuseniks – OK, let's stay with the Foreign Office's new buzzword – the only rejectionists are India, Israel and Pakistan.

The British government says the international community must be prepared to "respond robustly" when a country withdraws from the NPT. It says:

The NPT is not like any other treaty and the risks associated with its abuse are uniquely dangerous. We recommend immediate discussions at the UN Security Council if a country announces its intention to withdraw. The IAEA should be required to report immediately on the nuclear activities of that country.

It’s common sense really. So what about countries, like Israel, that have stacks of nukes and refused to sign up to the NPT in the first place? What about the "uniquely dangerous risks" in Israel’s case? Where’s the robust response? Is the UN Security Council addressing Israel’s rejectionism? Has the IAEA reported on Israel's nuclear activities?

As a matter of fact, the IAEA is quite bothered about Israel. The BBC reported on 7 November:

On 18 September 2009, the IAEA called on Israel to join the NPT and open its nuclear facilities to inspection. The resolution said that the IAEA “expresses concern about the Israeli nuclear capabilities, and calls upon Israel to accede to the NPT and place all its nuclear facilities under comprehensive IAEA safeguards”...

Israel refuses to join the NPT or allow inspections. It is reckoned to have up to 400 warheads but refuses to confirm or deny this.

I've seen the 400 “deliverable” nukes figure before – it’s nearly twice Britain's arsenal – also that European cities were targeted.

Israel is the third or fourth largest nuclear force in the world and the only one in the Middle East. A 2006/7 report by the Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission says:

Most unofficial estimates claim that Israel possesses a nuclear arsenal numbering in the hundreds, possibly larger than the British stockpile. Israel is widely believed to possess both fission and fusion bombs. It has an unsafeguarded plutonium production reactor and reprocessing capability and possibly some uranium enrichment capability, along with various other uranium-processing facilities.

It is the only state in the region that is not a party to the NPT. It has signed but not ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. As regards biological and chemical weapons, Israel has not signed the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention. It has signed but not ratified the Chemical Weapons Convention.

So why is the focus on Iran and not rejectionist Israel? Israel’s incessant foaming at the mouth over Iran has nothing to do with the alleged remark by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to “wipe Israel off the map” – a remark he never made anyway. Long before that, back in 2002 and 2004, Israel was urging the international community to target Iran as soon as it had finished in Iraq and to strip Iran of weapons of mass destruction.

Are we expected to believe that Israel's leaders, given their lawless and belligerent track record, are saner than Iran’s Ahmadinejad? Washington and London may believe such tosh but I doubt if anyone in the Middle East would. Or anyone else in Europe for that matter. A European Commission survey found that the public believe Israel to be the biggest threat to world peace, greater than North Korea, Afghanistan or Iran.

War-war not jaw-jaw

Perhaps the looniest thing I have heard lately is the passage through Congress of the ‘‘Iran Threat Reduction Act of 2011’’. Hidden away where it wouldn't be noticed, under "General Provisions - Denial of Visas for Certain Persons of the Government of Iran" (Section 601), is this gem:

(c) RESTRICTION ON CONTACT. – No person employed with the United States government may contact in an official or unofficial capacity any person that – (1) is an agent, instrumentality, or official of, is affiliated with, or is serving as a representative of the government of Iran; and (2) presents a threat to the United States or is affiliated with terrorist organizations. (d) WAIVER. – The president may waive the requirements of subsection (c) if the president determines and so reports to the appropriate congressional committees 15 days prior to the exercise of waiver authority that failure to exercise such waiver authority would pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the vital national security interests of the United States.

It effectively bans diplomacy with Iran. Neither the president himself nor the secretary of state nor any US diplomat or emissary is allowed to engage in negotiations or diplomacy with Iran unless the president can convince the "appropriate congressional committees" (e.g. the House Foreign Affairs Committee whose strings are pulled by AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee) that not doing so would present "an unusual and extraordinary threat to the vital national security interests of the United States".

“Many people are quite sure that if the increasingly unhinged Israeli leadership … believed their unlawful ambitions in the Middle East were permanently thwarted, they would think nothing of taking the rest of the world to hell with them.”

War-war is preferred to jaw-jaw. And it’s no surprise to discover that this nonsense was cooked up by Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) and Howard Berman (D-CA), who both lead the Foreign Affairs Committee.

How clever is it to abandon all the channels of normal diplomacy? Those who support the measure must be desperate for more bloodshed – as long as they personally don't have to act as cannon-fodder. Who can forget the chicken-hawks who casually ordered troops into Iraq and Afghanistan but would never dream of donning uniform and picking up a rifle themselves?

The preamble to this junk piece of legislation states:

In the 2006 State of the Union address, President Bush stated that ‘‘The Iranian government is defying the world with its nuclear ambitions, and the nations of the world must not permit the Iranian regime to gain nuclear weapons. America will continue to rally the world to confront these threats...” In February 2009, President Obama committed the administration to ‘‘developing a strategy to use all elements of American power to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon... Iran is a major threat to United States national security interests."

Is it really?

Circulating in the background for years have been rumours speculating on the whereabouts of nuclear warheads dumped by a US B-52 which crashed in 1991. Did freelancers salvage them? Was the nuke exploded by North Korea in 2006 one of these? Does Iran have some? Is this what the panic's about?

Many people are quite sure that if the increasingly unhinged Israeli leadership, with finger on the nuke button, believed their unlawful ambitions in the Middle East were permanently thwarted, they would think nothing of taking the rest of the world to hell with them.

Hydal Electricity generated by WAPDA varies between two extremities i.e. between minimum of 2414 MW and maximum of 6761 MW depending upon the river flow through the whole year.

Total Power Generation Capacity of Pakistan (including all sources) is19855 MW and the electricity demand (as of today 20-04-2010) is 14500 MW and PEPCO is merely generating 10000 MW.

So it is obvious that these 15-20 hrs power shutdowns in most parts of the country are not because of the lack of generation capacity but only because of IMF / World Bank policies imposed on our nation by Govt. The Power Generation companies are not buying Furnace Oil from PSO by saying they don’t have money to do that but we are all paying for Electricity that is generated from Furnace Oil. This is the reason that top refineries like PRL are operating at 40% capacities. IMF / World bank has imposed to reduce budget deficit by importing less crude oil. But due to this fact all our industries are under severe crisis. None of our political party who are in Assembly is ready to speak on it because every one is blessed by US / IMF / World Bank.

نیوزی لینڈ کی فوج نے سینکڑوں ایسی دستاویزات عام کی ہیں جن میں اڑن طشتریاں دیکھنے کے دعوؤں کا ذکر ہے۔

سنہ انیس سو چون سے سنہ دو ہزار نو تک کے درمیان کی ان دستاویزات میں اڑن طشتریوں کے خاکے اور خلائی مخلوق کی مبینہ تحریریں بھی شامل ہیں۔

ان فائلوں میں نیوزی لینڈ میں اڑن طشتری دیکھے جانے کے اس مشہور واقعہ کا بھی ذکر ہے جب سنہ 1978 میں کیکورا نامی قصبے میں عجیب و غریب روشنیوں کو کیمرے کی آنکھ سے دیکھا گیا تھا۔

اگرچہ اس واقعہ کو بین الاقوامی شہرت ملی تھی لیکن فوجی رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ یہ روشنیاں کشتیوں پر نصب بتیوں کا بادلوں میں بننے والا عکس یا سیارہ زہرہ کا غیر معمولی منظر ہو سکتا ہے۔

ان دستاویزات کے عام کیے جانے کے بعد نیوزی لینڈ کی فضائیہ کے ترجمان کیو تماریکی کا کہنا ہے کہ فوج کے پاس اتنے وسائل نہیں کہ وہ اڑن طشتریاں دیکھنے کے واقعات کی تحقیقات کرے اور وہ ان دستاویزات کے مواد پر تبصرہ نہیں کریں گے۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ’ہمارے پاس معلومات جمع تھیں۔ ہم نہ تو اس کی تحقیق کرتے ہیں اور نہ ہی رپورٹس بناتے ہیں‘۔

یہ دستاویزات معلومات تک رسائی کی آزادی کے قانون کے تحت سامنے لائی گئی ہیں اور ان میں سے افراد کے نام اور ایسی دیگر معلومات ہٹا دی گئی ہیں جن سے کسی کی پہچان ممکن ہو سکے۔

دو ہزار صفحات پر مشتمل دستاویزات میں عوام، فوجیوں اور ہوابازوں کے ایسے بیان شامل ہیں جس میں انہوں نے زیادہ تر آسمان میں گردش کرتی روشنیاں دیکھنے کا دعوٰی کیا ہے۔

Google Announces PC Operating System to Compete with Windows

Google is releasing a lightweight, open-source PC-operating system later this year, the company announced Tuesday night, a move that threatens the very heart of Microsoft, long seen as Google’s biggest rival.

Chrome OS is intended to be a very lightweight, quick-starting operating system whose central focus is supporting Google’s Chrome browser. Applications will run mostly inside the browser, making the web — not the desktop — into the computer’s default operating system.

It’s a sign that Google truly believes in the age of cloud computing — where the usefulness of a computer is in its connection to the net where data is stored remotely and information processing happens in a dance between a browser and remote servers.

The Linux-based OS is the second for Google, following on Android, another open-source OS that intended for small devices such as mobile phones. Chrome OS will first be on netbooks — the popular lightweight and inexpensive notebook computers — in the second half of 2010, the company said in a blog post. Desktops will come later.

The code itself will be released under an unspecified open-source license at the end of the year.

The announcement included some not so veiled jabs at Microsoft.

People want to get to their email instantly, without wasting time waiting for their computers to boot and browsers to start up. They want their computers to always run as fast as when they first bought them. [...] Even more importantly, they don’t want to spend hours configuring their computers to work with every new piece of hardware, or have to worry about constant software updates.

Google has already laid the ground work for a web OS by revolutionizing webmail with Gmail’s speed, features and capacity (now over 7GB). It followed that with free online word processing and spreadsheet software. Add in its online photo sharing services, and the myriad other online applications from Facebook to customized radio station Pandora, and most common uses of a computer can be done through a browser.

With Tuesday’s announcement, Google is going after Microsoft’s most lucrative and dominant business — the operating system.

Google is implicitly making the argument that there’s no need to pay the premium for a Microsoft OS, when there is lighter, faster and free. And Google is arguing, rather persuasively, that the Web and modern, standards-based browsers like Chrome, Safari, Opera and Firefox are where innovative third-party development is taking place these days.

Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects of Google Chrome OS. We’re designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds. The user interface is minimal to stay out of your way, and most of the user experience takes place on the web. And as we did for the Google Chrome browser, we are going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don’t have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates. It should just work.

More to the point, more web usage equals more money for Google, which basically makes more money the more people use the web — thanks to its dominant ad platform that brought in more than $5 billion in revenue in the first three months of 2009.

Microsoft has been looking forward to the fall release of Windows 7, its successor to the not-well received Vista. Windows 7 beta releases have gotten good reviews. It’s a bit more complicated in the enterprise space, where IT departments are slow to migrate to anything, but for the average consumer the question now becomes, why ever pay again for a Microsoft operating system, unless you are a gamer or run custom, legacy software?

If indeed Google puts out a fast, easy to use operating system that lets netbooks soar and free users from constant software patches, Microsoft will find it very hard to explain to consumers why they should continue to use its software, other than just out of a foolish consistency.

Don’t be evil, Google’s unofficial motto, has long been understood as code for “Don’t be Microsoft.” Perhaps, it ought now it to be augmented with the commandment, “Leave no Microsoft product unchallenged.”

Frequently, computers built by PC vendors (also called OEMs = Original Equipment Manufacturers) come with custom (OEM) Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP or 2003 releases preinstalled.
You can tell by opening Control Panel → System → General tab → look at the picture in the lower left corner, usually displaying the vendor's logo and their company name, internet address, support e-mail and/or phone number in the lower right corner. You'll also notice a "Support Information..." button below the text area, which shows company or system details when left-clicked.
This looks cool, but it would look even better if my own logo, name and computer specs would show up instead. :)

Make sure you type some text on the "Manufacturer=" and "Model=" lines after the equal sign (no quotes), even if you decide to leave the others empty, otherwise the logo (see further below) will NOT be displayed.
OEMINFO.INI supports more than 200 lines [I have no idea of the maximum limit allowed :)] under the [Support Information] section, each numbered correspondingly in ascending sequence, up to a maximum of 254 characters per line after the equal sign. You can even have blank lines, or the lines can be empty themselves (after the equal sign), and all (even special ASCII) characters typed after the first equal sign are displayed (even multiple equal signs).
Optionally you can enclose typed text with quotation marks, they won't be displayed.
Exception: the first tab (which normally adds 8 spaces) is displayed as a single space, but anything following the second tab is not displayed.
To disable/comment/remark a line (make it invisible) type a semicolon (;) in front of it (just like in any other Windows INI file), and it won't be displayed anymore.
The "Support Information" button acts like a "mini" text viewer (no editing allowed within the box though). :) Click it, and you can use the left mouse button drag to highlight all lines, and then right-click to Copy the entire text (including the empty lines, if any) to the Clipboard, which you can Paste into any text editor.
Then create/edit a custom OEMLOGO.BMP (a bitmap logo, residing in the same folder as OEMINFO.INI = see above), which must be maximum 180x114 pixels in size [larger pictures are automatically cropped (downsized) to "fit" the "window", and smaller ones are displayed with a background surrounding them (mine is 154x114)], and must have 256 colors [RGB encoded, 24-bit color depth (16 million colors) also allowed], in BMP format (uncompressed Windows BitMaP), you can use MS Paint (found as C:\Program Files\Accessories\MsPaint.exe by default), the primitive but free painting program bundled with Windows or a better 3rd party utility (most are freeware).
Note that you need to fill at least 2 or 3 of the corners (1 pixel size) of your OEMLOGO.BMP file with a "blank" color (white), to have it display properly. The white color is shown as transparent (useful as background if the bitmap logo is smaller than 180x114).
Alternatively you can use OEM Logo Stamper [530 KB, nag freeware] to customize both OEMINFO.INI + OEMLOGO.BMP.
When you're done, just left-click your mouse once on an empty spot on your Desktop background, and then hit F5 to refresh. Now you can open the System Properties General tab to admire your "handy" work. :)

امریکہ جانتا تھا کہ وہ افغانستان میں فیصلہ کن فتح اس وقت تک حاصل نہیں کر سکتا جب تک پاکستان بالخصوص قبائلی علاقوں کے مسلمان اپنے افغانی بھائیوں کی پشت پر کھڑے ہیں۔ سوویت یونین کے خلاف افغان جنگ میں وہ اس کا مظاہر ہ دیکھ چکا تھا۔ امریکہ یہ بھی جانتا تھا کہ پاک افغان سرحدی علاقے پر نہ توباڑ لگائی جاسکتی ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی ایسی طویل خندق کھودی جاسکتی ہے جو پاکستان کے مسلمانوں کو سرحد پار کر کے قابض امریکی افواج کے خلاف جہاد سے روک سکے۔ ایسے میں امریکی پالیسی سازوں نے ایک خبیث منصوبہ تیار کیا کہ پاکستان کے اندر قبائلی علاقے میں خانہ جنگی کی آگ بھڑکائی جائے تاکہ پاکستان سے افغانستان جانے والے مسلمانوں کی تعداد کو کم کیا جائے۔ نیز پاکستان کے جذبہ جہاد سے سرشار مسلمانوں کو پاکستانی فوج کے خلاف مصروف کر کے ایک تیر سے دو شکار کیے جائیں۔ یعنی اس طرح افغانستان میں بزدل امریکی فوجیوں کو تحفظ مل جائے گا جو خطے میں جاری مزاحمت کے سامنے بے بس ہو چکے ہیں اور پاکستان ہی کے لوگوں کو فوج سے لڑا کر پاکستان کی مسلمان فوج کو کمزور کیا جائے اور یوں فوج کو اپنی اصل ذمہ داری یعنی خطے سے امریکی انخلاء اور اسلام کے نفاذ کے لئے مدد و نصرت فراہم کرنے سے بھی دور کر دیا جائے۔ اسی لئے امریکہ نے پاکستانی حکومت اور قبائلیوں کے درمیان 24 اپریل 2004 کو ہونے والے شکئی امن معاہدے کو سبو تاژ کیا اور نیک محمد کو ایک میزائل حملے میں 18 جون 2004 کو شہید کر دیا تاکہ فوج اور قبائلی آپس میں لڑتے رہیں۔
اس منصوبے کو پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچانے کے لئے مشرف کے دور میں ہی قبائلی علاقے میں فوجی آپریشن آغاز کر دیا گیا تھا۔ اور اس فوجی آپریشن کے متعلق اس وقت کے امریکی سیکرٹری آف سٹیٹ کولن پاول نے 10 جنوری 2004 کوکہا تھا: ”میں اس بات پر خوش ہوں کہ ہماری تحریک پر مشرف نے اس علاقے میں نئے ملٹری آپریشن کا آغاز کیا...ہم نے پاکستان پر یہ واضح کر دیا ہے کہ ہم یہ چاہتے ہیں کہ پاکستان اس (قبائلی) علاقے کو قابو میں لانے کے لیے تمام تر کوششیں صرف کرے“۔ چنانچہ انگریزوں کی ناکام جنگی مہم کے بعد پہلی دفعہ قبائلی علاقے میں فوج کشی کی گئی۔ چونکہ قبائلی علاقوں میں آپریشن کرنے کی کوئی قابلِ قبول دلیل موجود نہ تھی چنانچہ حکومت نے ازبک، تاجک اور عرب ”غیر ملکیوں“ کے خلاف آپریشن کے نام پر قبائلی علاقے میں لشکر کشی شروع کی۔ جبکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ افغانستان کی جنگ کے خاتمے کے کئی سال گزر جانے کے بعد بھی اگر اس علاقے میں ازبک اور عرب مجاہدین موجود تھے تو اس تمام تر عرصے کے دوران پاکستان کو ان سے کسی بھی قسم کا کوئی خطرہ درپیش نہ تھا، یہی وجہ ہے کہ پاکستان کے عوام نے امریکہ کے افغانستان پر حملے سے قبل ان ”غیر ملکیوں“ کے بارے میں نہ تو کوئی سنگین بات سنی اور نہ ہی کبھی پاکستان کی حکومت نے انہیں خطرہ قرار دیا۔ اور پاکستان کے عوام بھی ازبک، تاجک اور عرب قومیت پر مبنی تقسیم کو اسلام کے خلاف سمجھتے تھے، ان کے نظر میں یہ مسلمان قابلِ قدر تھے کیونکہ انہوں نے روس کے خلاف جہاد کے لیے اپنے علاقوں کو چھوڑا تھا اور اپنے خونی رشتے کو قربان کیا تھا۔ لہٰذا مشرف حکومت کی توجیہ پاکستان کے عوام اور پاکستانی فوج کی نظر میں کوئی اہمیت نہیں رکھتی تھی۔ ان لوگوں کے غیر پاکستانی ہونے کے علاوہ حکومت کی طرف سے دوسری توجیہ یہ پیش کی گئی کہ یہ ”دہشت گرد “سرحد پار کر کے افغانستان جاتے ہیں اور امریکہ کے خلاف لڑ کر ہمارے لئے مسائل پیدا کرتے ہیں۔ اس دلیل نے عوام کے سامنے حقیقی مسئلے کو آشکار کر دیا یعنی آپریشن کا اصل مقصد مجاہدین کی نقل و حمل، رسد اور امداد کاٹ کر افغانستان میں موجود امریکی فوجیوں کو مسلمانوں کی طرف سے جاری مزاحمت سے تحفظ فراہم کرنا تھانہ کہ ان "غیر ملکیوں" کے خلاف محض اس وجہ سے آپریشن کرنا کہ یہ غیر ملکی ہیں۔ لیکن عوام کی نظر میں قبائلی علاقے میں ”غیر ملکیوں“ کی موجودگی یا ان کا افغانستان میں جا کر کافر صلیبیوں کے خلاف لڑنا کوئی جرم نہ تھا، بلکہ وہ اسے جہاد سمجھتے تھے اور نہ ہی وہ اس بات کے لیے تیار تھے کہ امریکہ کے خبیث منصوبے کی خاطر پاک فوج کو قبائلی علاقے میں مسلمانوں کا خون بہانے کے لیے روانہ کیا جائے۔ پس اس امریکی جنگ کے لئے پاکستان کے عوام میں کسی قسم کا کوئی نرم گوشہ موجودنہ تھا اور پاکستان کے تقریباً تمام مسلمان ہی اس جنگ کو امریکی جنگ قرار دیتے تھے۔
چنانچہ 2004ء کے فوجی آپریشن میں فوج کو نہ صرف قبائلیوں سے سخت مزاحمت کا سامنا کرنا پڑا بلکہ پاکستانی عوام، میڈیا، دانشور اور سیاسی ماہرین کی اکثریت نے حکومت کو شدید تنقید کا نشانہ بنانا شروع کر دیا۔ دوسری طرف خود پاک فوج کے جوانوں اور افسروں نے اپنے ہی قبائلی بھائیوں کے خلاف لڑنے سے انکار کر دیا۔ یہاں تک کہ صرف ایک آپریشن کے دوران وزیرستان میں فوجی افسروں سمیت 200 سے زائد فوجی جوانوں نے ہتھیار ڈالے۔ میڈیا میں اسلام پسند افسروں کا قبائلی علاقے میں جانے سے انکار اور ان کے کورٹ مارشل کی خبریں اخبارات کی زینت بننے لگیں۔ عوامی ردعمل اور فوج میں بددلی اس خطرناک حد تک بڑھ گئی کہ امریکہ اور حکومت کو اپنی حکمت عملی پر نظر ثانی کرنی پڑی۔ امریکہ جان چکا تھا کہ وہ قبائلی علاقوں میں جہاد پسند مسلح عوام کا مقابلہ اس وقت تک نہیں کر سکتا جب تک اس جنگ کے حق میں پاکستان کے عوام میں رائے عامہ موجود نہ ہو اور پاک فوج کے جوان بھی اس کے لئے جوش و جذبے سے لڑنے کے لئے تیار ہوں۔ نیز وہ یہ بھی جانتا تھا کہ پاک فوج کے جوان اس وقت تک لڑنے کے لئے تیار نہیں ہونگے جب تک کہ انہیں کوئی ایسا جواز فراہم نہ کیا جائے جو ان کے اسلامی جذبات اور ملکی دفاع کی ٹریننگ سے ہم آہنگ ہو۔ اس ضمن میں یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ اگلے فوجی آپریشن سے قبل عوام اور فوج میں اس امریکی جنگ کے لئے رائے عامہ ہموار کی جائے۔ نیز پاکستان کے عوام سے یہ بھی منوایا جائے کہ ”دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ“ امریکہ کی نہیں بلکہ پاکستان کی اپنی جنگ ہے۔ چنانچہ اس منصوبے کو پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچانے کے لئے امریکہ نے حکومت پاکستان کے ساتھ مل کر درج ذیل گھٹیا اسالیب اپنائے۔
مزاحمتی گروپوں میں ایجنٹ داخل کرکے امریکہ کے خلاف جاری مزاحمت کو بدنام کرنا:
جہاں تک عوامی سطح پر مزاحمت کاروں کے خلاف رائے عامہ ہموار کرنے کا تعلق ہے تو اسے پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچانے کے لئے امریکہ کی خفیہ ایجنسیوں نے اپنے ایجنٹوں کو قبائلی مزاحمت کاروں میں شامل (infiltrate) کرنا شروع کر دیا اور طالبان میں شامل چند عناصر کو استعمال کرنا شروع کر دیا کہ جن سے امریکی انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیاں کئی سال قبل ہی پاکستانی ایجنسیوں کے ذریعے تعلق قائم کر چکی تھیں۔ اور ان ایجنٹوں کے ذریعے ایسے کام کرائے گئے جس سے یہ مزاحمت کار عوام میں غیر مقبول ہو گئے اور پھر ان عسکریت پسندوں کو آڑ بنا کر خطے کے لوگوں پر جنگ مسلط کرنا امریکہ اور حکومت کے لئے آسان ہو گیا۔ اسکولوں کو بموں سے اڑانا، عورتوں کو گھر سے باہر نکلنے سے روکنا، فوجی افسروں کی گردنیں کاٹنا، پولیس اور ایف سی کی چوکیوں پر حملے کرنا، مزارات کو بموں سے اڑانا اور عورت کو بغیر شرعی وجہ کے کوڑے مارنا اور اس طرح کے دیگر واقعات یا ایسے واقعات کی جھوٹی خبروں نے ایسا ماحول پیدا کیا کہ جس کے بعد امریکہ کے لئے مسلمانوں کے قتل عام کے لئے پاکستانی فوج کو متحرک کرنا بالکل دشوار نہ رہا۔ نیز اس امریکی ”کار خیر“ میں پاکستان کے ”آزاد“ میڈیا نے بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ ڈالا۔
ریاستی عملداری کو چیلنج کرنے کا بہانہ:
اس کے ساتھ ساتھ ایک اور بڑی وجہ جسے بنیاد بنا کر حکومت آپریشن کے لئے رائے عامہ بناتی رہی وہ ریاستی عملداری (writ of the state) کو چیلنج کرنے کا بہانہ تھا۔ اس کی حقیقت بھی یہ ہے کہ حکومت پہلے عسکریت پسندوں کو خود ہی کھلا چھوڑ دیتی ہے کہ وہ اس نام نہاد"رِٹ آف دی سٹیٹ" کو پامال کریں۔ اور پھر میڈیا میں اچھی طرح اُچھال کر اور اپنی پروردہ انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں کے ذریعے مظاہرے اور بیانات دلوا کر ایسا ماحول بناتی ہے کہ گویا اب حکومت پر آپریشن کرنے کے لئے دباﺅ اس قدر بڑھ چکا ہے کہ مجبوراً اسے یہ قدم اٹھانا پڑ رہا ہے۔ لال مسجد اور سوات آپریشن اس کی واضح مثال ہیں۔ چنانچہ ایک طویل عرصے تک حکومت عسکریت پسندوں کو ریڈیو سٹیشن چلانے, چیک پوائنٹس قائم کرنے اور ریکروٹ کرنے کی اجازت دیتی رہی۔ مالاکنڈ کے کمشنر سید محمد جاوید سے متعلق میڈیا رپورٹس اس کی ایک اور مثال ہے, جب اس نے عسکریت پسندوں کے آنے سے قبل ہی تمام پولیس کو بونیر کے علاقے سے باہر نکل جانے اور تھانے خالی کرنے کا حکم دے دیا تاکہ عسکریت پسندوں کو علاقے پر قبضہ کرنے میں کسی دشواری کا سامنا نہ کرنا پڑے۔ میڈیا میں بھانڈا پھوٹنے کے بعد حکومت کو مجبوراً اس کمشنر کو قید کرنا پڑا لیکن سوات آپریشن کے مکمل ہو جانے کے بعد حکومت نے کمشنر مالاکنڈ کو 8 اکتوبر کو بغیر سزا دیے خاموشی سے رہا کر دیا۔ یہی معاملہ لال مسجد آپریشن کا ہے جب اعجاز الحق سمیت چند حکومتی اہلکاروں نے "ڈبل ایجنٹ" کا کردار ادا کیا اور انہیں ایسے اقدامات کرنے پر ورغلایا جس کے بعد مشرف کے لئے ان کے خلاف آپریشن کرنا نہایت آسان ہوگیا۔
فوج کو آپریشن پرآمادہ کرنے کے لیے بھارتی مداخلت کا پروپیگنڈا:
جہاں تک فوج میں امریکی جنگ کے لئے رائے عامہ بنانے کا تعلق ہے تو اس سلسلے میں فوجیوں میں مختلف ویڈیو فلموں کے ذریعے قبائلیوں کے خلاف نفرت کی آگ بھڑکائی گئی جس میں فوجیوں کو قتل کرتے ہوئے دکھایا گیا تھا۔ نیز یہ خبر بھی خوب پھیلائی گئی کہ بھارتی فوجی اوربھارتی ایجنسیاں مزاحمت کاروں میں شامل ہو چکے ہیں اور انہیں پاکستان کے مفادات کے خلاف استعمال کر رہے ہیں۔ یہ اس لئے کیا گیا تاکہ پاک فوج کا جوان اس دلی اطمینان سے گولہ باری کرے کہ وہ ان مسلمانوں کے خلاف جنگ نہیں کر رہا جو امریکہ کے خلاف لڑنا چاہتے ہیں بلکہ وہ ان بھٹکے ہوئے مسلمانوں کے خلاف ”جہاد“ کر رہا ہے جو بھارت کے ایجنٹ ہیں اور انہیں صرف بندوق کے ذریعے ہی ”راہ راست“ پر لایا جاسکتا ہے۔ اس سے قطع نظر کہ آیا بھارتی کارندے خطے میں موجود ہیں یا نہیں سوال یہ پوچھا جانا چاہئے تھا کہ آخر بھارتی خفیہ ایجنٹ گزشتہ ساٹھ سالوں کے دوران قبائلیوں کو ورغلانے میں کامیاب کیوں نہ ہو سکی؟ وہ خطے میں امریکہ کے آنے سے قبل قبائلیوں سے خودکش بم دھماکے کیوں نہ کروا سکی؟ یقینا یہ امریکہ ہی ہے جس نے خطے کے دروازوں کو بھارت کے لیے کھولا ہے۔ ایسے میں بجائے یہ کہ اصل وجہ یعنی امریکہ کو خطے سے نکالنے کی سعی کی جاتی، حکومت اپنے ہی قبائلی بھائیوں کے خلاف نبرد آزما ہو گئی۔ اورکسی نے یہ پوچھنے کی بھی جسارت نہ کی کہ اگر پاکستانی فوج بھارتی ایجنٹوں کے خلاف ہی لڑ رہی ہے تو آخر امریکہ کیوں ہمیں اپنے حلیف بھارت کے خلاف لڑنے کے لیے اسلحہ، بارود اور ہیلی کاپٹر فراہم کر رہا ہے؟ آخر اگر قبائلیوں سے لڑنا ہماری جنگ ہے تو پھر تمام فوجی آپریشن کا خرچہ ہمارے بجائے امریکی پینٹاگون کیوں بخوشی برداشت کر رہا ہے کہ جس کی معیشت پہلے ہی بحران کا شکار ہے؟ ان سوالات پر غور کرنے والا اس امریکی سازش کو بڑی آسانی سے سمجھ جاتا ہے کہ دراصل امریکہ نے پاک فوج کے لئے بھارت کو بطورِ دشمن پیش کیا تاکہ ہمارے فوجی بلا جھجک جنگ لڑ سکیں اور مسلمانوں کے خلاف لڑتے ہوئے ان کے اسلامی جذبات آڑے نہ آئیں۔ پاکستانی حکومت اس سازش کا حصہ ہے, اسی لئے عوامی رائے عامہ کو آپریشن کے حق میں رکھنے کے لئے حکومت بھارتی مداخلت کا کارڈ استعمال کرتی ہے، جبکہ اس ”مداخلت“ کے حقیقی خاتمے کے لیے وہ ایک قدم بھی نہیں اٹھاتی، حتی کہ وہ اس ”مداخلت“ کو کسی عالمی فورم پر بھی نہیں اٹھاتی اور نہ ہی آج تک پکڑے گئے ”بھارتی فوجیوں“ کو میڈیا کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا ہے۔ چنانچہ "بھارت کا کارڈ" درحقیقت داخلی رائے عامہ (internal consumption) کے لئے ہے اسی لیے اسے سفارتی سطح پر نہیں اٹھایا جاتا۔
پے درپے بم دھماکوں اور حملوں کا خبیث حربہ:
اب جہاں تک عوام کو اس بات پر قائل کرنے کا تعلق ہے کہ دہشت گردی کی جنگ امریکہ کی نہیں بلکہ ہماری اپنی جنگ ہے تو اس کے لئے امریکہ نے بم دھماکوں کی مدد سے پورے پاکستان کو میدان جنگ بنا دیا۔ نیز کبھی سکول بند کر کے اور جگہ جگہ ناکے لگا کر لوگوں کی زندگی اجیرن کر دی اور انہیں بار بار یہ احساس دلانے کی کوشش کی گئی کہ یہ سب کچھ قبائلی علاقوں میں موجود دہشت گردوں کی وجہ سے ہے تاکہ عوام اس امریکی جنگ کو چار و ناچار اپنی جنگ سمجھ کر قبول کر لیں۔ ان بم دھماکوں کے لئے ایک طرف تو امریکہ کے پاس چند طالبان عناصر میں اپنے ایجنٹ موجود ہیں جو لال مسجد، سوات، اور قبائلی علاقوں کے متاثرہ خاندانوں کے نوجوانوں کو ریکروٹ کرتے اور مجاہدین کو افغانستان میں امریکہ کے خلاف لڑنے کی بجائے پاکستانی افواج اور سیکورٹی اداروں کو نشانہ بنانے پر آمادہ کرتے ہیں۔ اور دوسری طرف امریکہ کے پاس بلیک واٹر اور ڈائن کارپ کے تازہ دم کرائے کے قاتل بھی ہیں جو حکومتی سرپرستی میں بے خوف و خطر دندناتے پھر رہے تھے۔ اور ان کے لئے کسی بھی جگہ جانے اور کہیں پر بم نصب کرنے میں کوئی رکاوٹ نہیں ہے اور اگر پکڑے جاتے ہیں تو محض ایک فون کال پر تھانے سے باہر آ جاتے ہیں۔ جیسا کہ اسلام آباد میں چار امریکی افغانیوں کا بھیس دھارے ہوئے اسلحہ اور کیمروں سمیت گرفتار کئے گئے جو ایک جعلی نمبر پلیٹ کی گاڑی پر سوار تھے۔ لیکن چند ہی منٹ بعد انہیں امریکی ایماء پر رہا کر دیا گیا۔ اسی طرح حکومتِ پاکستان کی سرپرستی میں اسلام آباد سے چند کلو میٹر دور سہالہ پولیس ٹریننگ انسٹیٹیوٹ کو امریکی دہشت گردی میں استعمال ہونے والے بارود کے ڈپو میں تبدیل کیا جاچکا ہے۔ اور نوبت یہاں تک آن پہنچی ہے کہ انسٹیٹیوٹ کے کمانڈینٹ نے میڈیا کو بیان دیا کہ وہ اپنے ہی ٹریننگ سنٹر کے مخصوص حصوں میں امریکی اجازت کے بغیر داخل نہیں ہو سکتا۔ یہ اب کوئی ڈھکی چھپی بات نہیں رہی کہ ان بم دھماکوں اور حملوں میں پسِ پردہ امریکی ایجنسیوں کا ہاتھ ہے یہی وجہ ہے کہ پشاور میں امریکی بلیک واٹر اور ڈائن کارپ کے دفاتر کی بجائے عورتوں اور بچوں کے بازار میں دھماکہ کر کے معصوم مسلمانوں کو نشانہ بنایا جاتا ہے۔ اور پاکستان میں موجود امریکی سکولوں اور مغربی ثقافت کو فروغ دینے والے اداروں کی بجائے اسلامی یونیورسٹی کے شریعہ ڈپارٹمنٹ میں بم دھماکہ ہوتا ہے, اور امریکی اسلام کو فروغ دینے والے نام نہاد سکالرز، جو میڈیا پر آ کر کھلم کھلااسلام کی دھجیاں بکھیرتے ہیں، کی بجائے ان علما کو قتل کیا جاتا ہے جو امریکی تسلط کے خلاف ہیں اور امت کو اسلام کے تحفظ کی بنیاد پر اکٹھا کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
یہ حکومتی دعویٰ کہ امریکہ کاساتھ دینا ہی وقت کا تقاضا ہے:
امریکہ کی جنگ کو قبول کرنے پر آمادہ کرنے کے لیے حکومت کا ایک اور حربہ نام نہاد مفکرین کے ذریعے یہ تاثر دینا ہے کہ امریکی امداد کے بغیر ہم اپنی معیشت نہیں چلا سکتے اور نہ ہی پاکستان امریکہ کو خطے سے نہیں نکال سکتا۔ جبکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ امریکہ کو خطے سے نکالنا ایٹمی پاکستان کے لئے دشوار نہیں۔ یہ وہی بزدل امریکی ہیں جو افغانستان اور عراق میں قلیل اسلحہ رکھنے والے مجاہدین سے مار کھا رہے ہیں اور امریکہ کے ہسپتال اپاہج امریکی فوجیوں سے بھر چکے ہیں۔ امریکی معیشت اربوں ڈالر پمپ کرنے کے باوجود بدستور بحران میں مبتلا ہے اور وہ اس وقت ایک فوجی پر سالانہ ایک ملین ڈالر خرچ کر رہے ہیں جو اس کے خزانے پر بوجھ ہے۔ امریکی رسد کا سب سے بڑا حصہ پاکستان سے گزرتا ہے۔ آج اگر پاکستان امریکہ کی خوراک، تیل اور بارود کی رسدبند کر دے، امریکہ کو انٹیلی جنس اور لاجسٹک سپورٹ فراہم کرنا بند کر دے تو امریکہ کے لیے اپنے آپ کو خطے میں برقرار رکھنا ممکن نہیں۔
جہاں تک اس حقیر غلامانہ سوچ کا تعلق ہے کہ امریکی امداد کے بغیر پاکستان اپنے معیشت نہیں چلا سکتا،تو یہ محض دھوکہ ہے، حقیقت تو یہ ہے کہ پاکستان وسائل اور افرادی قوت کے لحاظ سے ایک مضبوط ملک ہے جسے استعماری پالیسیوں کے ذریعے کمزور رکھا گیا ہے تاکہ تیسری دنیا کے دیگر ممالک کی مانند پاکستان کا انحصار بھی مغرب پر ہو اور امریکہ اور دیگر استعماری طاقتیں امداد کے عوض اپنے مطالبات منوا سکیں۔ کیری لوگر بل اس کی حالیہ مثال ہے جس میں پاکستانی حکومت کو محض امداد کا 2.8% فراہم کیا جائیگا جبکہ امریکی NGOs امداد کا 92% حاصل کریں گی۔ اگر آج پاکستان استعماری معاشی پالیسیوں کو خیر باد کہہ دے اور خلافت کے قیام کے ذریعے اسلام کے معاشی نظام کو نافذ کر لے تو وہ قلیل عرصے میں دنیا کی مضبوط ترین معیشت بن سکتا ہے۔
جہاں تک اس فتنے کی جنگ میں الیکٹرانک میڈیا کے کردار کا تعلق ہے, تو الیکٹرانک میڈیا کی اکثریت نے اس امریکی جنگ کی حمایت میں رائے عامہ بنانے کے لئے نہایت ہی جانبداری کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ یہی نہیں بلکہ وزیرستان آپریشن کے نتیجے میں بے گھر ہونے والے لاکھوں افراد کا مکمل بلیک آوٹ کیا گیا تاکہ امت کو ان کی حالتِ زار کا علم نہ ہو سکے۔ جبکہ اسی میڈیا نے کوڑے مارے جانے والی پرانی فلم بغیر تحقیق کئے چلا دی تھی جس نے سوات آپریشن کے لئے رائے عامہ بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا تھا۔ ہم میڈیا کے نمائندوں سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنی اسلامی ذمہ داری کو پہچانیں اور امت کے ساتھ مل کر امریکہ کو خطے سے نکالنے کے لئے اپنا اہم کردار ادا کریں۔
جہاں تک ان آپریشنوں کے نتائج کا تعلق ہے تو گذشتہ سوات آپریشن کے بھیانک نتائج پاکستان کے مسلمانوں کے سامنے ہیں، اِس آپریشن کے نتیجے میں لاکھوں افراد بے گھر ہوئے، متعدد بچوں، بوڑھوں اور عورتوں کا بے دریغ قتل کیا گیا اور ان کے گھر، بازار اور سڑکیں تباہ کر دی گئیں اور حکومتِ پاکستان نے اس تمام کو کڑوی گولی قرار دے کر یہ دعویٰ کیا کہ اگر عوام بس ایک مرتبہ یہ ”قربانی“ دے دیں تو پھر ہم علاقہ دہشت گردوں سے پاک کر کے مکمل اور دیر پا امن حاصل کر لیں گے۔ لیکن آج صورتِ حال یہ ہے کہ عوام کا اربوں روپے کا نقصان کر کے مالاکنڈ میں امن قائم کرنے کے بجائے اسے کرفیو لگا کر ایک ”میگا جیل“ کا روپ دے دیا گیا ہے جس میں عوام بھوکے پیاسے بِلک رہے ہیں۔ ان کے باغات اور فصلیں تباہ کرنے کے باوجود نہ توتمام ”دہشت گرد“ پکڑے گئے اور نہ ہی مارے گئے بلکہ وہ دیگر علاقوں میں منتقل ہو گئے جبکہ علاقے میں بم دھماکوں کی شکل میں انتشار ابھی بھی برقرار ہے۔ ایسے میں اس فتنے سے نکلنے کا طریقہ یہ نہیں کہ ہم امریکہ کے بچھائے اس جال میں مزید پھنسنے کے لئے کوئٹہ اور جنوبی پنجاب میں مزید فوجی آپریشن کریں۔ کیا ہم ”دہشت گردوں“ کے تعاقب میں پورے پاکستان میں آپریشن کے نام پر لڑاکا طیاروں سے گولے برسائیں گے؟ آخر یہ سلسلہ کہاں تک چلے گا؟ خطے میں امریکہ کے آنے سے قبل یہ انتشار موجود نہ تھا اور امریکہ کے خطے سے انخلاء کے ساتھ ہی یہ انتشار بھی ختم ہو گا اور دہشت گردی اپنی موت آپ مر جائیگی۔
یہ ہے اس فتنے کی جنگ کا حقیقی پس منظر، جس میں امریکہ نے ان غدار حکمرانوں کے ذریعے پاکستانی فوج کے مسلمانوں کو دھکیل دیا ہے, جس میں مارنے والا بھی مسلمان ہے اور مرنے والا بھی مسلمان! اور جس کا مقصد خطے میں امریکی راج کو برقرار رکھنا ہے۔ یہی نہیں بلکہ پاکستان پر امریکی راج کو خاموشی سے مستحکم کرنے کے لئے یہ غدار حکمران امت کو بجلی، چینی، گیس، آٹا جیسے مختلف مصنوعی بحرانوں میں پھنساتے رہتے ہیں تاکہ انہیں کچھ سوچنے سمجھنے کا موقع ہی نہ ملے۔
یہ امر نہایت افسوس کن ہے کہ اس فتنے کی جنگ کو بھڑکانے میں حکومت کے ساتھ ساتھ بڑی اپوزیشن پارٹیوں کی قیادت بھی برابر کی شریک ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ امریکہ کی موجودگی اور استعماری نظام کے جڑ سے خاتمے کی بجائے ان کی گفتگو اور سرگرمیوں کا مرکز و محور مشرف کا ٹرائل، سترہویں ترمیم، جسٹس ڈوگر کیس، مائنس ون، مائنس ٹو فارمولا، مڈ ٹرم الیکشن اور دیگر بے مقصد ایشوز ہوتے ہے۔ اوریہ اپوزیشن پارٹیاں چیف جسٹس کو بحال کرنے کے لیے تو عوام کو متحرک کرتی نظر آتی ہیں لیکن پاکستان سے امریکی اڈوں کے خاتمے, امریکہ کو رسد کی فراہمی اور امریکی انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیوں کی گھناﺅنی سرگرمیوں کے خاتمے حتیٰ کہ ڈرون حملوں خلاف بھی عوام کو سڑکوں پر لانے کے لیے تیار نہیں۔
جب مشرف نے پاکستان کے اندر فوجی آپریشنوں کا آغاز کیا تھا تو اسی وقت حزب التحریر نے امت کو پمفلٹ کے ذریعے خبردار کیا تھا کہ: ”موجودہ آپریشن کا مقصد امریکی مفادات کی تکمیل کے سوا کچھ نہیں" نیز یہ آپریشن پاکستان کے مفاد کو پورا کرنے کی بجائے پاکستان کو تباہی کے دہانے کی طرف لے جائے گا“۔ اور پھر ایسا ہی ہوا کہ آج پاکستان ان فوجی آپریشنوں کے نتیجے میں تباہی کے دہانے پر پہنچ چکا ہے۔ سوات آپریشن کے دوران حزب نے ایک بار پھر عوام کو خبردار کیا تھا کہ دہشت گردی کا خاتمہ محض ایک بہانہ ہے جبکہ حقیقت میں امریکہ عسکریت پسندوں کی آڑ میں خطے کے عوام کے ساتھ جنگ لڑنا چاہتا ہے۔ آج وزیرستان کے عوام کے ساتھ بھی یہی کھیل دوبارہ کھیلا جا رہا ہے۔ وقت آگیا ہے کہ عوام حکومت کو سوات میں قتل عام کرنے کے بعد وزیرستان آپریشن جیسی غلطی دہرانے سے روکیں۔ حالات کا مشاہدہ کرنے والا صاف دیکھ سکتا ہے کہ جیسے ہی حکومت نے وزیرستان آپریشن کی ٹھانی شہری علاقوں میں یکا یک بم دھماکوں کا سلسلہ شروع ہوگیا۔ اور اب جگہ جگہ بم دھماکے اس آپریشن کے لئے رائے عامہ برقرار رکھنے کے لئے کئے جارہے ہیں۔ آنے والی شدید سردی کے موسم میں لاکھوں بے گھر مسلمان کھلے آسمان تلے زندگی گزارنے پر مجبور کر دئے گئے ہیں۔ اس امریکی صلیبی جنگ کے دوران ہزاروں نہیں تو کم ازکم سینکڑوں مسلمان لقمہ اجل بن جائیں گے۔ عوام کو اس ظلم کو روکنے کے لئے سڑکوں پر نکلنا ہوگا۔ امت کو خلافت کے قیام کے ذریعے امریکہ کو خطے سے نکالنے کے لئے متحرک ہونا ہوگا۔
ہم اپنے قبائلی مسلمان بھائیوں کو بھی یہ نصیحت کرنا چاہیں گے کہ وہ اپنی صفوں میں سے خفیہ ایجنسیوں کے ایجنٹوں کو نکال باہر کریں جو ان کی توجہ افغانستان میں امریکی فوجیوں سے ہٹا کر پاکستان کے نہتے عوام اور ان کی فوج کی طرف مبذول کروا رہے ہیں۔ بے شک مسلمان کو عمداً قتل کرنا سراسر حرام ہے۔ ایسے میں پاکستان کے شہروں میں بم دھماکوں کا کوئی شرعی جواز نہیں چاہے وہ عام شہری کے خلاف ہو یا کسی سیکورٹی آفس یا فوجی بیرک پر۔ قبائلیوں کو معلوم ہونا چاہئے کہ اس قسم کے واقعات کے ذریعے امریکہ نہ صرف اپنے خلاف ہونے والے جہاد کو عوام کی نظر میں بدنام کرتا ہے بلکہ ملک کو انتشار میں پھنسا کر اپنا تسلط مضبوط کرتاہے۔ ہم اپنے قبائلی بھائیوں سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ وہ افغانستان میں امریکی فوجیوں کے خلاف کاروائیاں تیز کر دیں تاکہ امریکہ کو خطے سے نکالنے میں مدد مل سکے جو اس فتنے کی جنگ کی اصل وجہ ہے۔
ہم فوج میں اپنے مسلمان بھائیوں سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ کیا یہ وہی قبائل نہیں جنہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ مل کر روس کو اس خطے سے نکالا تھا؟! جو آپ سے محبت کرتے تھے اور آپ ان کی قدر کرتے تھے! تو آخر کیا وجہ ہے کہ یکایک آپ دونوں آپس میں دست و گریباں ہیں؟ یقینا یہ امریکہ کے اس خطے میں آنے اور آپ پر مسلط امریکی ایجنٹ حکمرانوں کی غداری کا ہی نتیجہ ہے کہ آپ کو اس امریکی جنگ کے لیے ایندھن کے طور پر استعمال کیا جا رہا ہے۔ یاد رکھیں کافروں کے ساتھ مل کر مسلمانوں کا قتل عام کسی بھی طور اللہ کے ہاں قابل قبول نہیں۔ ارشاد باری تعالیٰ ہے:
وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا )النساء: 93(
”اور جو کوئی ایک مومن کو جان بوجھ کر قتل کرے گا تو اس کی جزا جہنم ہے جہاں وہ ہمیشہ رہے گا اور اس پر اللہ کا غضب اور لعنت ہے۔ اور تیار ہے اس کے لئے عذابِ عظیم“۔النساء: 93
ہماری فوج کو یہ بات نہیں بھولنی چاہئے کہ گناہ پر مبنی کام میں اپنے قائدین اور حکمرانوں کی اطاعت کرنا شرعاً حلال نہیں۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا:
لا طاعة لمخلوق فی معصیة اللہ
”کسی ایسے کام میں مخلوق کی کوئی اطاعت نہیں جو گناہ پر مبنی ہو“۔
جبکہ یہ گناہ تو ایسا ہے کہ جس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے آتشِ جہنم میں ہمیشہ کے عذاب کی وعید سنائی ہے۔
بلاشبہ پاکستان کے حکمرانوں نے امت کے تما م تر وسائل کو آپ کے اولین دشمن کے مفادات کی تکمیل کے لیے وقف کر رکھا ہے۔ یہ حکمران ہی ہیں جو امریکہ کی طاقت اور خطے میں امریکہ کی موجودگی کو برقرار رکھنے کا ذریعہ ہیں۔ انہی کے ذریعے امریکہ آپ کو کنٹرول کرتا ہے اور اپنے مقاصد کی بھینٹ چڑھاتا ہے۔ اور یہ امریکی استعمار سے نجات کی راہ میں بنیادی رکاوٹ ہیں لہٰذا انہیں ہٹانا فوج اور امت میں موجود ہر مسلمان پر فرض ہے۔ مزید برآں موجودہ جمہوریت نے اس حقیقت سے بھی پردہ اٹھا دیا ہے کہ آمر ہو یا جمہوری حکمران، اس سرمایہ دارانہ نظام میں دونوں امریکہ ہی کی چاکری کرتے ہیں۔ پس پاک فوج پر لازم ہے کہ وہ ان حکمرانوں اور اس نظام کو اکھاڑ نے اورخلافت کے قیام کے لیے حزب التحریر کو نصرت دیں۔ وہ خلافت جس کے تحت مسلمان ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ لڑنے کی بجائے خطے سے امریکہ کی موجودگی کا خاتمہ کریں گے۔ اورپھر اس کار خیر میں فوج کے ساتھ نہ صرف قبائلی بلکہ پورے پاکستان کے مسلمان ان کے شانہ بشانہ کھڑے ہونگے۔
