The "semi-official" specs for the new Fuji X1 (or Fuji X-PRO 1, as they call it) are out. Read all about it here. It is a compact interchangeable lens camera with an APS-C sensor and hybrid viewfinder.
And man is that a sweet looking little thing!

UPDATE: Is Olympus about to launch an also classic looking compact camera, with an incorporated EVF? Read here.

For a while that most of my photos have been in black and white. But sometimes an image shows up that needs to be in color. That is the case of this photo and the one in the previous post.

I find ironic the fact that the photo in the previous post, with a cooler tone, was taken in August, while this one, warmer, was shot in December.

A one second video contains 24 photos.
Call me a sentimental fool, but I find this output of "The beauty of a second" project immensely beautiful.

One of these days, I have to start doing some video experimenting with my E-P2.

These photos were taken handheld at ISO 1600. Who said the EP-2 is not good for night photography? There is some digital grain, but it adds to the atmosphere. And the Olympus sensor stabilization system helps a lot. Having to use a tripod for these shots would be a nuisance for me.
