‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Dennis Haskins Dies at 75

Dennis Haskins, who played Principal Richard Belding on “Saved by the Bell,” has died. He was 75.

His agent Jay Schachter confirmed the news to TMZ. He said, "It's a tragic loss. Everyone loved Mr. Belding and those of us who got to know Dennis, loved him even more. He was a great person, and he loved, I mean absolutely LOVED his fans.”

Schachter continued, "He always had time for them, no matter what. He was my client and dear friend for over 20 years, and I will miss him terribly.”

Haskins’ cause of death is unknown.

In addition to “Saved by the Bell,” Haskins played Principal Belding in spinoffs like "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" and "Saved by the Bell: The New Class."

Three months after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara requested a name change, it has been granted!

In court docs obtained by Page Six, Zahara has successfully removed Pitt from her last name.

The docs stated, “There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted.”

“The Decree is signed and filed,” the doc went on. “The Petitioner’s name is changed from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie.”

On Monday, a hearing was held on the matter at Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.

Before Judge Virgina Keeny signed off on the name change, Zahara took out a newspaper ad in The Los Angeles Daily Journal to announce her plans to drop her famous last name.

Angie and Brad’s daughter Shiloh was the first to successfully change her name in 2024.

Maddox and Vivienne have also filed court docs to legally remove Pitt from their last name.

A new book claims Tom Brady was blindsided by his divorce from Gisele Bündchen.

The details come from “Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness” by Lars Anderson. DailyMail.com has the excerpts.

In the summer of 2022, Tom apparently left Buccaneers training camp for a Hail Mary attempt to save his marriage.

According to the Buc’s assistant coach, Clyde Christensen, Tom made a frantic trip to the Bahamas and spent 11 days trying to win Gisele back to no avail.

He said in the book, “Tom didn’t know what the heck was going on. And we didn’t know if he was ever coming back.”

Christensen added, “Tom was an empty shell of who he was when he got back.”

Anderson claims Gisele wanted Tom to retire and spend more time at home with his family, but Tom wasn’t ready to give up his first love, football.

The couple announced their $700-million divorce that fall.

Bündchen moved on and married jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquin Valente. Days after, they announced they were having a child together, Tom reportedly threw subtle shade with his Instagram post, a picture of himself throwing a football with the caption, “True love.”

She’s speaking out exclusively to “Extra” for the first time since that tragic night, about the Reiners’ love story and 36-year marriage, plus how their children Jake and Romy are doing today.

Martine shared, "Our lives are changed forever.”

She explained, “I suppose you heal from a wound, but the scar is there. It's a really hard thing to describe because it never goes away.”

Martine said of Michele and Rob’s love story, “They were absolutely incredible together. They met and didn’t take long before they were together forever.”

And about their children, Jake and Romy, and how they are doing today, she said, “Everybody in the family is healing in his or her own way. I’ll never be my sister and I can never be what’s missing in their lives, but I consider them my kids. There’s no daylight between us.”

Their brother, her nephew Nick Reiner, is awaiting trial, charged with his parents’ double murder. He has entered a not guilty plea and will be back in court next month.

Martine is president and CEO at Children's Institute, one of L.A.’s oldest and largest child and family agencies.

“The work that we do is really working with the whole family, working with the community, working with community partners all the time.”

The Reiners were always supportive of her work. “They were the most caring, generous, brilliant people,” she said. “They did a lot to try to heal the world and it's everybody's responsibility to do their part.”

And now their good friend Jamie Lee Curtis will be honored by the organization with the inaugural Michele and Rob Reiner Champion for Change Award.

Martine said, “She embodies very much their spirit, their generosity. She’s really a kindred spirit.”

Another Duggar daughter is married!

Us Weekly, citing county records, reports Johannah Duggar, 20, and David Swanson quietly tied the knot on September 10.

Gospel Light Baptist Church minister Noel Cwenar married the couple in Arkansas.

David’s family already had a Duggar connection — his sister Lauren married Johannah’s older brother Josiah Duggar in 2018. They share three children.

Some of the Duggar sisters were just pictured together on Jessa’s Instagram account, perhaps amid the festivities surrounding the wedding.

In one photo, Jessa smiles alongside Jinger and Joy-Anna. In another photo, the “Counting On” alum grabs coffee with Johannah, Jennifer Duggar and Jordyn-Grace Duggar.

Hayden Panettiere’s ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko has filed court papers in an effort to protect their daughter Kaya’s inheritance.

In court papers filed in Los Angeles, Klitschko requested to be named the temporary guardian of Kaya’s estate, calling it an “urgent and essential” matter.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Kaya “is entitled to the entirety” of Panettiere’s assets.

In the court docs, Klitschko claimed that federal agents gained access to Panettiere’s home as part of her death investigation and removed her property. As a result, he wants to regain ownership of the condo once the investigation is completed.

The court papers stated, “Prior to her death, Hayden and [Klitschko] had hired a security service to protect Hayden’s Home and its contents, arising from a documented concern that an individual had gained unauthorized access to Hayden’s property.”

“Locks to Hayden’s Home were changed by the security service following Hayden’s death, and storage units containing designer clothing and accessories worn to public appearances have been relocated as a precaution,” the docs noted.

Without naming someone specific, Klitschko wrote in the docs, “It is expected that the individual will continue to try and misappropriate property belonging to Hayden’s estate. Given the high publicity of Hayden’s estate, a personal representative needs to be appointed immediately to safeguard and protect Hayden's home and contents.”

Panettiere died without a will, so Kaya is the heir to everything she left behind.

“Extra” has reached out to Klitschko’s reps, but have not heard back.

In August, Hayden died at the age of 36 in a Greenville, South Carolina, apartment.

Zach Braff on How ‘Scrubs’ Cast’s Real Friendship Translates on TV (Exclusive)

Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke chatted with “Extra” about Season 2 of the “Scrubs” revival and their genuine friendship off camera.

Braff shared, “What makes it stand out is that it’s real. I think that when you go to a set and you’re pretending to be friends, it’s a whole lot different than when you actually have all this history.”

He went on, “We’re on location, we’re spending even more time together than we used to. We go out on the weekends together and we just socialize more than ever. We spend often seven days a week together.”

Zach recalled how show creator Bill Lawrence used to use Donald and himeself as inspiration for the show.

He explained, “Back in the day… Bill Lawrence would ask Donald and I what we got up to that weekend and then the next week some aspect of that would be in the show. And so, I think it’s a very unique thing… It definitely translates on the screen the genuine friendship that we all have for each other.”

Besties Zach and Donald admitted they do disagree sometimes.

Donald laughed, saying, “We do argue, we just try not to let the ‘kids’ see it. I get mad at him when he comes so caffeinated up on to set. And then he makes the crew laugh, which is fun.”

Donald quipped, “I enjoy a show.”

Zach added, “Then we call action and he’s tired… And I’m like, ‘You could have spent all that f**king time looking at your line.”

Faison laughed, and Chalke supported him, saying, “Morale is important!”

Sarah went on to explain how their longtime friendships impact their performances, too.

“When you have that feeling of safety where you know that like there’s that 25 years of history that you can’t manufacture,” she said. “You feel safe in trying anything. And I think that’s when comedy gets interesting and different and unique and special and fun is when you feel the freedom to do that and know that, like, if you fall flat on your face, like, they’re not going to use it.”

Lawrence, however, wasn’t afraid to use Sarah’s clumsiness in the show.

She said of her character, “Elliot wasn't originally written as a klutz who’s constantly not knowing where her body is in space.”

Zach teased, “Sarah is without a doubt the clumsiest person I’ve ever met in my life. And she injures herself every day.”

They also gushed about each other with Sarah revealing that Zach is an awesome dog dad!

“He’s very, very, very good as a dog dad,” she said. “He is so sweet with his dog… She comes to set… She’s the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. I would have a hundred Pennies if I could.”

Zach added, “We're best friends. She's my emotional support animal."

Chalke continued, “She's so sweet and he takes such good care of her and he loves her so much and he speaks very highly of Penny and she’s a very important part of his life.”

She said Zach is trying to get her to foster a dog, too, but she said, “We’ve fostered 43, but I can't keep one in this moment while we’re shooting, but I am going to.”

Chalke also praised Donald, sharing, “Donald comes into the hair and makeup trailer every morning in the best mood and he’s dancing and it sets such a good tone for the day and it’s, like, it kind of lifts everybody up.”

Donald said of Zach and Sarah, “These are actual genuine friends of mine and I cherish them.”

He recalled that when they all had to move to Vancouver for the show, Sarah offered to help them find places to live. Zach added, “She would FaceTime me from houses.”

Donald described her as “the most caring, thoughtful person that I've ever worked with.”

Zach has also been there for him. “I've had hard times in my life, and I've always been able to turn to Zach and him help me out in some way,” Donald said.

Donald said now they are trying to pass along some of the lessons they learned from Lawrence with the newer cast members.

Faison said, “Bill treated us like we were, you know, his children almost. You know what I mean? He taught us how to tell jokes. He taught us how to work, he gave us work ethic, but he also taught us how to unwind and stuff like that and enjoy each other’s company. And it’s only right that we took some of the lessons that he gave us and pass them on to this new cast of characters that are with us now. And so, every weekend — so far, last year too — we had a cast bonding moment, whether it was a dinner, whether it was a movie. We recently rented a boat and, you know, we all went out on a boat and trying to look for whales.”

The new season of “Scrubs” premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, September 30, on ABC, and the next day on Hulu.

Ezra Frech Says Inspiring Others on ‘DWTS’ ‘Means the World to Me’ (Exclusive)

Paralympian Ezra Frech and his partner Daniella Karagach are the frontrunners this season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

“Extra’s” Derek Hough spoke with Ezra and Daniella about their journey on the show so far.

Ezra feels like he’s improving every week, saying, “Even for our cha-cha, literally the first time she had me try to move my hips like that and do the cucaracha, I felt so awkward. I felt so out of my comfort zone, but the next time we did it, it was a little better… Then, eventually, when show day rolled around, I felt really comfortable.”

They spoke about doing a foxtrot for Week 3 and the challenges that style of dance presents.

Daniella explained, “It’s definitely different. It’s harder because it’s slower so there’s no momentum to carry, you know, the next step, so you always have to control, kind of, every step you take.”

Ezra kept it real, saying, “It’s easier to mask stability when you’re at speed. When it’s slower and each step has to be really controlled, that’s where some of that instability can shine through… We’re working really hard on making sure that each step is really controlled.”

“That’s what I got to work on is not being skippy, not being bouncy on a leg that’s kind of designed for that,” Ezra added.

Ezra also reflected on how much it means to be able to inspire others.

When Derek mentioned the young generation of kids with prosthetics that are being inspired by Erza, he commented, “I just got chills as you were saying that… It’s literally what I feel like I was put on this earth to do.”

“We know the power of movement, the power of dance, the power of sport, it changes what you think is possible, what it does for people physically, psychologically, what it does for your soul, is so important, especially in someone with a physical disability,” Frech emphasized.

He continued, “So, to get the opportunity to be on such a beautiful show like ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ hopefully inspire someone with a physical disability to maybe step out of their comfort zone, try something new, take a dance class, try a sport, put on a running blade. That means the world to me.”

Prince Harry's Candid Confessions About U.K. Return with Meghan Markle & Kids

Prince Harry is no longer “5,000 miles away” from the U.K.

Last week, Harry attended the Invictus Sprits Awards, where he was asked by Hello! magazine if he’s had any highlights since settling back in his homeland with his wife Meghan Markle and their kids Archie and Lilibet.

He answered, “My highlight so far? Oh, I don’t know. Would I dare share it with you?”

Harry might have been subtly commenting on the reports that Meghan had her phone number leaked after responding in a WhatsApp group chat with other parents.

He went on, “The last two weeks have been… it’s been eventful. But, you know, we’re getting stuck into the work. Kids are in school. We’re happy. And as I said, it’s great to be back on British soil, and looking forward to Birmingham next year for the Invictus Games that’s coming up.”

As for having his family by his side as he brought the Invictus Games back to the U.K., Harry shared, “It’s great. It’s wonderful to be back on British soil and really nice to see so many old faces and friends that came to this, and new faces as well, and new donors. And most of all, I guess, my Invictus family.”

He added, “It’s been a very special journey over the last 12 years. So, yeah, all families.”

While appearing at the WellChild Awards in London earlier this week, Harry opened up on how his kids are adjusting to their new life.

He told Hello! magazine, “At breakfast this morning, they had a bit of Monday blues. It was always Sunday night blues when you’re being sent away to boarding school like I was, but for them, at breakfast this morning, I decided, you know what? You’re just being a little bit tricky, so I’m going to tell you exactly what I’m doing tonight.”

Harry was the keynote speaker at the award ceremony honoring seriously ill children and their caretakers.

He noted, “They were genuinely fascinated and asking all sorts of questions. So, like with all of my work and their mum’s work as well, whatever we can do to try to instill some of that awareness, I think is absolutely crucial.”

When asked what is the most British thing they’ve done so far, Harry revealed, “Marmite on crumpets… It’s always been in my life and now the kids are eating Marmite on crumpets, which is a big moment for me.”

“Extra” spoke with Hello’s Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon, who shared her take on Harry.

She said, “He was just in a good mood… With everything that’s been going on, it’s just so nice to see him really in his element.”

Raye sparkled on the red carpet at the 2026 MTV VMAs, where she was one of the show’s absolute queens!

Chatting with “Extra’s” Alyssa Killian, she previewed her acclaimed tribute to the late George Michael.

Too bad the show wasn’t closer to December!

“I personally wanted to sing ‘Last Christmas’ because I actually flipping love that song so much!” she told us. “But it just wasn't the time of year.”

Alyssa asked the question we all wanted to ask!

“You’re doing something with Michael B. Jordan, right? What is this project you’re working on?”

Raye knew better than to give anything away, allowing, “I’m technically not allowed to talk about it because I might get in trouble.”

Alyssa said because of the mystery, everyone thinks they’re dating.

“No, we’re just friends who like roller coasters,” Raye told us.

Raye also said she was really looking forward to seeing Madonna, who opened the show with performances of “Bring Your Love” and “Danceteria.”

“Off Campus” star Ella Bright chatted with “Extra’s” Alyssa Killian on the carpet at the 2026 MTV VMAs.

She teased what’s in store for Season 2, talked how her fans are reacting to her music, and fangirled over Taylor Swift!

Ella also broke down her look, saying, “Yes, it’s a vintage Cavalli. It’s got a great corset. Honestly, I can breathe in it… So, it’s good, it’s a lot of fun.”

Fans can’t wait for more “Off Campus,” with Ella saying, “Yeah, there’s a lot of things going on. There’s some amazing ensemble moments. Everyone really gets their chance to shine in this season, and you just get to see more of the friendships, the romances… There’s some really, really fun stuff we’ve got to do this season. So, I’m really excited for everyone to see it.”

Alyssa asked, “Also, what about the music? Because even your Spotify from Season 1 has so many downloads.”

“I mean, it’s unreal,” Ella said. “Never really thought I’d be really into music. So, I’m really excited to say that I'm kind of working on my own stuff at the moment... It’s going to be awesome. And to be here is so cool. And to see how the music the response to the music and the show was just unbelievable… It was my favorite part of filming. So, the fact that that is resonating with a few fans is amazing.”

Alyssa, told Ella, “I heard that Nicole Kidman just re-binged ‘Off Campus’ multiple times.”

“So chill and normal,” Ella joked.

Of course we asked about Taylor Swift and Madonna, both making appearances at the show.

“Yeah. I mean, everyone you just named. Taylor Swift — I’m the biggest Swiftie ever.”

Her fave Taylor song? “Oh, my gosh, literally, like, anything from the ‘1989’ album. That’s kind of my favorite.”

As she received the first-ever Artist Director Honors Award at the 2026 MTV VMAs, Taylor Swift proudly introduced her latest directorial effort — the highly anticipated music video for her hit “Patient Zero.”

Taylor was exuberant in her acceptance speech, noting her gratitude for being able to co-direct some 60 videos over the years.

“I’ve got to tell you though the main reason why I love writing and directing music videos so much is because you, the fans, make it so much fun,” she said graciously.

She then unveiled the moody video, which stars Dakota Johnson as a woman in a psychologically draining relationship with a controlling man, played by Colin Farrell. Taylor plays her lifeline figure, her sisterly voice who is trying to help her get through it.

The drama-soaked clip is a dramatization of a relationship Taylor herself said she “walked away from.”

In the song, she sings, “I know it seems like he shines so bright, but he’s bathing in your reflected light.”

She refers to herself as patient zero because she sees herself as the first woman to get sick of this guy, and is there to encourage his new victim, “If you're sick of him, I got you / I was patient zero.”

Speculation is running wild about which man in Taylor’s life inspired the song — but why not watch it and come to your own conclusions?

Normani was looking snatched on the carpet of the 2026 MTV VMAs, but the final effect was not as easy to achieve as she made it look!

“My whole dress ripped,” she told “Extra.” “Wardrobe malfunction. Whole side, open.”

She said her hairstylist and seamstress teamed up to make it work.

Asked how she’ll get out of the tight garment, she joked, “Oh, we’re gonna have to cut her open,” referring to the dress.

But she was very zen about it, saying it wouldn’t be the VMAs without drama.

In the words of host Snoop Dogg, Madonna “kilt” it at the 2026 MTV VMAs, offering a very Madonna opening to the show — football be damned!

The 7:30 p.m. ET start time for the show was delayed a full 22 minutes by football on CBS, but it opened with a bang.

Madonna kicked things off — literally, check out those high kicks — with a two’fer, performing “Bring Your Love” with Sabrina Carpenter and “Danceteria” with Charli xcx and a host of guests.

After a bit of her “Confessions II” short film featuring dancers with laser beams emanating from places from which laser beams rarely emanate, Madonna began warbling “Bring Your Love” while seated on a piano as Sabrina accompanied her.

Madonna rocked black boots and a silky black robe over red while Sabrina served a black-and-white look with a beret.

Stripped of her robe, Madonna was carried by dancers and deposited on a platform that raced around a gospel choir, all the while recreating yoga-vibing choreography from her short film “Confessions II.”

This ended with a journey to a men’s room setting for “Danceteria.” The song, all about the Queen of Pop’s downtown NYC days, was just remixed to include Charli xcx, who emerged from a stall to sing about her own journey to stardom.

“Now I’m singing with Madonna at the VMAs!” she sang after a musical walk down memory lane.

The production number included a slew of dancers, but also some familiar faces — from Madonna’s world, her ex-boyfriend Tony Ward (who appeared in the “Sex” book and “Justify My Love” music video with her), iconic DJ Fab Five Freddy, Julia Garner (long slated to play Madonna in a stalled biopic), and her bestie Debi Mazar; Seth Rogen (Madonna will be seen on the next season of “The Studio”); Sombr; and more added to the controlled chaos.

The song samples Lou Reed’s iconic “Walk on the Wild Side,” so among the projections flashing overhead was a tribute to Reed.

Madonna has performed many times at the VMAs, but not in 23 years!

The rest of the night, she stuck around to see how many of the 13 awards for which she was nominated would slide into her wins column — starting with Best Collaboration, which she and Sabrina shared.

During their acceptance speech, Madonna teased Sabrina for not replying to her collab request quickly enough, but praised her as remarkably professional and raved about her tendency to write her songs down on paper. She went on to say it was wonderful working together, so which Sabrina simply replied, “Everyone — Madonna!”

Making her night complete, she took home he coveted Artist of the Year Award, thanking her co-writer/co-producer Stuart Price, her manager Guy Oseary, and MTV — reminding the crowd she performed at the first MTV VMAs in 1984.

Telling us her molded-bodice gown was by Seks, she admitted, “I’m here for one reason and one reason only: Madonna.”

Of her new ’do, she confirmed, “I felt like it was time to bring out the blonde wig again because of the queen.”

Calling Madonna a “f**king genius,” Lisa said she’s followed Madonna — who opened the show — anywhere and everywhere, and has since 1984.

She also had space in her heart for another of the night’s top honorees, Taylor Swift!

“Aren’t we all Swifties at the end of the day?” she said. “I think we are.”
