Bunnie Xo Jokes She’s Free from 10 Years in Prison amid Jelly Roll Divorce

Bunnie Xo jokingly refers to her marriage to Jelly Roll as a prison sentence in a new clip from her “Dumb Blonde” podcast.

Afterward, she teased, “I'm gonna get a phone call,” while insisting she was “Just cutting the rug, buddy.”

The conversation started with Bunnie Xo reading some DMs she’s received since news broke that the famous couple had split.

One guy wrote, “Hey pretty lady, I'm about to get out of prison on a 10 year bid next year. Please let me go out and have a time with you. That's all I ask. I promise it will be worth it. Hit me back.”

Bunnie commented, “So, listen. I don't mind that the dude's in prison… What I don’t like is he said, ‘Let me go out and have a time with you.’”

She went on, “So, that's where it’s like, okay. So, you're just expecting me to put out on this first date. Which…”

Co-host Meme Shahan teased, “I mean, after 10 years he might need it.”

Bunnie joked, “I mean, same… I just got out of a 10-year bid, too, b*tches, what are we talking about?”

That’s when Bunnie laughed and said she’s “gonna get a phone call... J is gonna call me.”

Despite the breakup, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have both insisted they are best friends.

During a show in Saratoga Springs, New York, on June 18, Jelly Roll broke his silence on the divorce.

The singer shared, “Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends.”

He continued, “We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth.”

The Grammy winner insisted, “That will be my best friend forever… Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years.”

Bunnie went into detail about the split on her podcast and revealed that they still plan to have a baby together after going through IVF.

“So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered,” she said. “We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other.”

Jelly Roll filed the divorce papers on May 18 in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. He listed May 9 as the date of separation.

Lionel Richie Takes Time Off After Onstage Health Scare

Lionel Richie, 77, is postponing his upcoming shows after he suffered a dizzy spell during a concert in Minnesota on Wednesday.

The singer had to bow out midway through the Saint Paul show. TMZ reports he was taken to the hospital.

On Thursday, United Center posted a message on Instagram to let fans know, "Under advisement by doctors to rest and return to full health, Lionel Richie has postponed his next two shows on Friday, June 26 in Chicago, IL and Saturday, June 27 in Columbus, OH.”

The post added that Richie and his tour mates, Earth, Wind & Fire, will return to the stage on Tuesday, June 30 in Pittsburgh.

"Lionel is heartbroken to postpone these two shows and cannot wait to be back performing for his fans,” the post continued. "We apologize for any inconvenience this causes fans who have tickets for these two shows. Rescheduled dates will be announced soon.”

Richie was performing at the Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul on Wednesday, when he suffered the dizzy spell.

Lionel Richie Hospitalized After Cutting Concert Short

Lionel told the crowd, "When you’re feeling dizzy, sit your ass down,” The Minnesota Star Tribune reported.

While Richie attempted to push through, he was forced to cancel the rest of the concert.

His saxophonist Dino Soldo told the crowd that Lionel was “not feeling well,” adding, "He won’t be able to continue. Additional information will be available.”

According to TMZ, paramedics met with Richie backstage and he was eventually transported to a hospital via ambulance.

Wednesday’s concert was the opening night of his joint tour with Earth, Wind & Fire.

Ann Blyth, Golden Age Star of ‘Mildred Pierce,’ Dies at 98

Ann Blyth, a Golden Age of Hollywood actress who was Oscar-nominated for her work in “Mildred Pierce,” died Wednesday at her home in L.A., local reporter George Pennacchio confirmed.

She was 98.

Born August 16, 1927, in Mount Kisco, New York, Blyth's career began at the age of 6 as a singer, when Herbert Hoover was president. She jumped from local theater roles to Broadway, taking her first bows in “Watch on the Rhine” in 1941, when she was just 13.

The anti-Nazi play was so popular she was part of a command performance for President Franklin D. Roosevelt at the White House.

Touring with the play in L.A., she was signed to Universal following a screen test. She made a winning movie debut opposite Donald O'Connor in the musical “Chip Off the Old Block” (1944), quickly becoming known for light, comedic fare.

With 1945's “Mildred Pierce,” which she filmed at 16, she played against type as hard-working Mildred's sociopathic daughter Veda, holding her own in scenes opposite one of the Queens of Hollywood, Joan Crawford.

“I had a wonderful representative at that time,” she told The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Feinberg 13 years ago. “He was so certain that I was capable of doing that part, and so he went to the studio and said, ‘At least give her a test...’ I was the lucky one because Joan Crawford did the test with me, and it made a world of difference. People just didn't do that — not of her stature.”

Blyth's emotionally charged scene with Crawford in which daughter viciously belittles mother, slapping her when Mildred tears up an ill-gotten check, is one of the most famous in movie history. “You're cheap and horrible,” Crawford tells Blyth in the scene — and Blyth, in real life a devout Roman Catholic with a reputation for kindness, relished playing both.

She was honored with an Oscar nomination for her work in that film, and Crawford won her first and only statuette for what became one of the year's biggest hits and an iconic movie.

The night was a challenge for Blyth, who had broken her back immediately after filming ended. By the time she was appearing at the Oscars ceremony, she was out of her cast and wearing a brace that the studio concealed with a specially made gown.

Blyth struggled to repeat her critical success, though she appeared in many successful films, among them “Brute Force” (1947); “Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid” (1948); the smash hit “The Great Caruso” (1951), opposite Mario Lanza; and the Vincente Minnelli-directed “Kismet” (1955).

She was praised for her work in the title role of “The Helen Morgan Story” (1957), but it was her last-ever feature film.

After that, she made just 22 TV appearances, though was also active in the theater and with a club act in Las Vegas when it was still an up-and-coming town.

On TV, she starred in one of the juiciest episodes of “The Twilight Zone,” 1964's “Queen of the Nile,” in which she played a mysteriously ageless Hollywood actress who mock-innocently asks a nosy reporter, “Is 38 terribly old?” In truth, her glamorous Pamela Morrison is ... older. Much older.

Other TV work included “Wagon Train” (1959-1963), “Switch” (1975), “Quincy, M.E.” (1979 & 1983), and her swan song, “Murder, She Wrote” (1985).

In the ‘70s, Blyth was a Hostess pitchwoman, assuring the public, “Freshness never tasted so good,” as she served her five children with Dr. James McNulty Twinkies and Crumb Cakes, “The light little cakes with the grown-up taste.”

Blyth was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James McNulty (the brother of singer Dennis Day), in 2007. She is survived by their five children.

Dolly Parton Makes First Public Appearance After Cancelling Las Vegas Residency

On Wednesday, Dolly Parton stepped out for her first public appearance since canceling her Las Vegas residency for health reasons.

Parton was on hand to celebrate the grand opening of her new roadside rest stop Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop in Cornersville, Tennessee.

During her surprise appearance, she told guests, "Well, the doors are open and I could not be prouder. Whether you are hauling loads, hauling the family, or just passing through, we built this place for you. Good food, real rest, a little music, and people who are genuinely glad you stopped in…that’s what the road has always deserved, and that is what you will find here. Welcome home.”

Dolly also joined Danny Nozell and Gregory H. Sachs for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Sachs, who is a partner of the hotel, shared, "I am proud to open the doors on the flagship location of Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop right here in the town I call home, Cornersville, Tennessee. When I approached Dolly's manager, Danny Nozell, and shared the idea, Dolly and her team loved it right away. Her years of life on the road gave her a real understanding of what was missing out there, and she saw the chance to turn ordinary travel stops into a place built on Tennessee hospitality, worth stopping for, not just stopping at. Pairing the history this landmark location has with Dolly’s spirit establishes a high benchmark for our future locations.”

According to the rest stop’s website, it will have a restaurant, gas station, a dog park, and even showers!

In May, Dolly gave a health update, saying, “The good news is I’m responding really well to meds and treatments and I’m improving every day.”

Parton revealed that one point her immune system and digestive system “got all out of whack” over the past few years and doctors are “working real hard on rebuilding and strengthening those.”

Dolly insisted that she was still keeping busy, despite her health.

In a video on Instagram, "I’m still working. I still do videos. I still record, I run up and down to Dollywood now and then and I’m working hard on getting my museum and my hotel open in Nashville later this year.”

Kerry Washington and director Whitney White spoke to “Extra” about Lincoln Center Theater’s “The Whoopi Monologues,” which is a reimagining of Whoopi Goldberg’s groundbreaking 1984 self-titled solo show.

Kerry recalled first seeing the show as a kid, saying, “I first saw the show at Home Box Office, HBO, and it totally blew my mind. It really transformed my idea of what was possible for an actor and what was possible to achieve in the theater in terms of having an impact on people’s hearts and minds. And I’ve always loved the work. I memorized the work as a young child, and I loved the idea of bringing it to new audiences.”

Kerry said that as a kid, her parents would even let her repeat the swear words in the show!

She shared, “Our show, ‘The Whoopi Monologues,’ opens with some profanity. We have a junkie character named Fontaine who’s beloved and Fontaine says, ‘Around the world in 80 mother effing days.’ And my parents let me quote the show walking around the house singing that song because my mom really understood that on the other side of those swear words was a real dive into humanity and into really being able to open your heart to somebody else’s reality and existence. And so that’s what we’re trying to do.”

Washington emphasized, “We’re inviting people into this seminal work that Whoopi wrote that allows you to step into the lives of people that you don’t know. People that you may ignore, walk past, assume that they don’t have a story that is as tremendous as it is. And we force you to sit in your seat and be in their world and love them.”

As for her own children, Kerry shared, “Well, my kids haven’t seen the show yet, but it’ll be interesting to see what lands for them and what they take away from it.”

Kerry noted, “I’m really proud of the material, and I do feel like, you know, to create a work that allows a child to walk away singing the material because it stays with them. Like, what that meant was that in my home, that junkie character became a hero. And it meant that in my neighborhood in the Bronx, I could see the people that were unhoused in my community as having more wisdom, more value than the world told me they had. Whoopi Goldberg gave me that gift of being able to see people in my own community in a different way.”

Kerry admitted she was nervous about taking the stage. "I mean, as a New York girl, I wanted to walk the boards before I wanted to be in anybody’s movie or TV show," she said. "The theater is such a sacred space for me. It’s where I started. It’s where I returned to. It’s what I love. And so to get to honor this material with this director and this cast, it’s just a dream come true. It really is. So it does come with nerves, but I try to remind myself that physiologically, anxiety and excitement are really the same activity in the body. You just have to call it something different, right? So I’m feeling inspired about what we’re creating and bringing to the world.”

Raving about Whitney, Kerry said, “Working with this director, she’s no joke. So, we’re getting to dive deep and make something really special together.”

Whitney chimed in, “I’m so grateful she’s been game for all of my little explorations.”

Whitney opened up about what showgoers can expect, saying, “I think you can expect to see a lot of love on that stage. A love of Black women, a love of excellent playwriting, which Whoopi has delivered in this.

“And also just, you know, I’m a theater nerd. So when you grow up learning about Shakespeare and ‘The Iliad’ and all these great classical work and Chekhov, what unites all that work is great characters, you know, and this is kind of a new American epic in its own right, this kind of little cornucopia of people in this little world that Whoopi Goldberg built. So audiences can expect to be immersed into a very, very special theatrical landscape when they come to see ‘The Whoopi Monologues.’”

As for preshow rituals, Whitney shared, “I think I just I always want to encourage my performers to just leave it all on the stage because if you just put it all out there, the good, the bad, wherever you’re at in your day in your life, then you’ll have a great show. But if you don’t leave it all out there and you keep it balled up, you can’t release. So I just try and encourage people, release, release, release.”

Kerry added, "Whitney said earlier, the five of us, we're like the New Your Knicks of theater right now. So I’m sure we’ll find some group rituals and stuff we’ll do together to make sure that when we go out there, we’re able to pass the ball with as much championship heart as possible.”

“The Whoopi Monologues” runs from July 7 through August 30 at the Lincoln Center Theater.

Tom Sandoval Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against GF Victoria Lee Robinson After Alleged Altercation

“Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval requested a restraining order against his girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson.

In new court docs obtained by TMZ, Sandoval accused Robinson of verbal and physical abuse.

Tom cited a physical altercation that allegedly happened with Victoria and her father Will Robinson, who are both living with him.

Based on the court docs, Sandoval claimed that Robinson’s father “punched a large hole” in the guest bedroom, where Tom had locked himself into after a verbal argument with Robinson.

Tom accused Victoria of striking him in the face and head, causing blurred vision.

Following the incident, Sandoval called the police, who arrested Victoria, according to the court docs.

Based on the filing, Tom wanted Victoria and Will to vacate his home.

According to TMZ, Sandoval’s request for a temporary restraining order has been granted by a judge. The judge has also ordered that Victoria and Will move out of Tom’s property.

Just a few months ago, Tom hinted that he was getting serious with Victoria, who he had been dating for more than two years.

When asked if they would level up in their relationship, he told TMZ, “Absolutely.”

In late 2024, Tom and Victoria sparked split rumors when she posted something cryptic on her Instagram Story.

At the time, she wrote, “Wow … you guys were right. Tiger never changes its stripes.”

Victoria eventually apologized for her post, according to Page Six. She wrote on her private Instagram, “I would like to sincerely apologize for my previous post. I had a true misjudgment in a situation. Tom did not do anything.”

She added, “From my own personal trauma and experiences hearing false accusations about him all the time clouded my judgment and got the best of me.”

Robinson ended her lengthy note, writing, “Please respect him and know he’s actually been the most supportive partner. The internet can be harsh sometimes and I’m learning how to block out the noise.”

Harvey Weinstein Will Not Go to Trial for a Fourth Time in Jessica Mann Rape Case

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is not going to try Harvey Weinstein a fourth time in the Jessica Mann rape case.

The disgraced producer, who has always maintained his innocence, was on trial for the rape of Jessica Mann for a third time earlier this year. In May, the jury deadlocked.

On Thursday, Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg announced in a press release, "Today, following discussions with Jessica Mann, who does not wish to testify again, and in accordance with our survivor-centered approach to prosecutions, we informed the court that we will not retry the remaining count of Rape in the Third Degree.”

The statement continued, "In consideration of Ms. Mann’s stance, and in recognition of Mr. Weinstein’s class B felony conviction for violently sexually assaulting Miriam Haley, we will not pursue a fourth trial and therefore moved to dismiss the remaining count.”

He praised Mann, saying, "To be clear, we believe Ms. Mann’s account and her credibility as a witness. This has been an extraordinarily taxing ordeal for her, and she has never wavered while testifying in front of two grand juries and three trial juries over the course of eight years. We thank her for her honesty and her tremendous bravery.”

Weinstein was convicted of raping Mann in 2020, but the decision was overturned. A retrial ended in a mixed verdict. In June 2025, a jury found Weinstein guilty of a first-degree criminal sexual act against Miriam Haley. At the same trial, he was not found guilty of the same crime against Kaja Sokola, and the jury was not able to reach a decision on Mann.

Bragg stated in the press release that his office recommends Weinstein receive 20 years in the Haley case to "account for the significant harms his actions have caused."

In December 2022, Harvey was convicted of rape in Los Angeles.

At the time, Variety reported Weinstein was convicted on three charges of rape and sexual assault but was acquitted of one other charge. The jury was unable to reach an unanimous verdict on three other counts.

In the past, Weinstein has steadfastly denied all of the allegations against him, maintaining that all sexual encounters in which he was involved were consensual.

Joe Manganiello Says He was Left ‘Mutilated’ During Treatment for ‘Deadly Mystery Illness’

Joe Manganiello is giving further insight into his health battle over the past decade, which is the subject of his new memoir “Bloodlines.”

In a new Instagram video, he shared, “I suffered in silence battling a deadly mystery illness… Other than a very small circle of family and friends, I hid it from the rest of the world. Until recently, I hadn’t really shared what I’d gone through.”

The “True Blood” actor went on, “I saw the best doctors in the world. None of them could explain what started my illness, and all their attempts to treat it with high-powered biologic drugs only exacerbated my symptoms and then unlocked a host of brutal side effects that plagued me for years.”

He said, “Then, in an attempt to buy myself time, I underwent very serious operations and procedures that mutilated parts of my body and left me so weak at times I couldn’t stand up or walk. I spent months and months heavily medicated while dealing with excruciating bouts of chronic pain.”

Joe continued, “Now, after three years of writing my memoir, ‘Bloodlines’ is done… It documents my 10-year search for answers and it spans the globe and also goes backwards in time as I expand on my understanding of my family’s history and make some absolutely unbelievable discoveries as I wake up to the idea that maybe what happened to me wasn’t random. In order to heal, my mind, my body, my spirit all had to align, and I needed to become open to some really radical and unorthodox techniques and ideas that lie beyond the boundaries of western medicine.”

Manganiello said he hopes “Bloodlines" will give others hope and help them “connect dots in ways I couldn’t at the beginning of my struggles.”

People magazine announced Joe’s memoir on Wednesday, reporting that he writes about the scary disease that attacked his skin, thyroid, eyes, lungs, and digestive system.

According to People, the book synopsis states Joe’s battle was "marked by multiple near-death experiences and medical crises that led him beyond medicine and into a remarkable, globe-spanning quest that revealed answers about his ancestry, inherited trauma and the deeper histories we carry.”

The description explains that Joe faced a “cascade of autoimmune-related illnesses” that caused "chronic pain, a life-saving organ amputation, existential crisis and a prolonged fight for survival that left doctors with few answers and no clear explanation.”

Manganiello decided to look outside traditional medicine for help, seeking out "shamans, pagan rituals, ancient myths, long-lost family records and the rebirth of his own spirituality.”

Joe told the magazine in a statement, “It was the most brutally difficult time of my life, one I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, but also my greatest adventure. I hope that what I went through on this journey can give readers hope that answers and healing may lie for them on the other side of whatever they are fighting through. The process of writing this book gave me the gift of perspective that helped me to see that my suffering was a cocoon from which I would emerge forever changed.”

‘The Bear’: Jeremy Allen White on What He’ll Miss Most & How Life Changed (Exclusive)

Jeremy Allen White and Liza Colón-Zayas talked to “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi about the fifth and final season of “The Bear.”

White admitted to feeling a bit “nervous” and “anxious” while reflecting on the show ending.

He explained, "I've become so reliant and dependent on these performers, on our crew. We start every year... we shoot the show January, February, March, you know, at the top of the year and it's such a beautiful way to start every year.”

Jeremy went on, "It's like I've counted on that time the last five years to get really centered on what I want for the rest of the year because I feel in a creative place. I feel in a safe place. I feel like I’m doing work that I love with people that I love and that's the thing I'm going to miss come January 2027. I think I'm really going to feel that absence of this community during that time.”

Jeremy and Liza recalled their final days filming, with Jeremy explaining, "It wasn't like everybody was together for one last day. It was kind of like spread out, the goodbyes... My last scene, I was with no, none of our like regular cast. I was on my own, and that was intense."

Turning to Liza, he added, "But then I saw you, yeah. Me and Matty came to hang out for your last scene which was like a couple days later. But yeah, it was strange. It's not what you think. It's not like the last day is like everybody all together and hugging. It's all like very split up, which was strange."

The star also shared what playing Carmy has meant to him personally and professionally.

“Personally, there's a lot to learn from Carmy and Carmy's journey,” he said. “You meet him and he's like living so much in the past and living so much in his grief and he's being so avoidant and his relationships are suffering and he's like isolating… he’s really this broken guy and over the of the show he finds the ability to I think get really honest with himself and appreciate and accept the kind of like love that he has around him… I think there's really good lessons in all of that."

White went on, “Professionally, this show has been such a gift. I've been really lucky throughout my career. I've been lucky to to be able to make a living at this job for as long as I have. And I think with this show came this even like next gift which which all actors want but very few are lucky enough to find which is like you get real agency in the direction of your career. You have choices. You can say yes. You can say no and you're granted like a period at least where you can take a break if you need to."

Liza spoke about how the show ends, saying, "I trust what the writers' vision is,” adding, “Something had to shift in this world. We couldn't continue to exist with that level of chaos and uncertainty. That said, I feel like we are in a better place and no matter what happens… there’s hope and we're going to be okay. And so, hey, man, to end it on that note and I think that this season is outstanding, to end it that way is huge."

She also said she is proud of what she did as Tina, and the how much it means having fans connect with the show.

"I feel really proud of all of the nuance… and humanity that I was able to find and that these incredible writers saw in me and put down on paper,” she said.

“Jersey Shore” star Jenni “JWoww” Farley is now a married woman!

On Wednesday, Farley tied the knot with wrestler fiancé Zack Carpinello with 50 guests in attendance.

While her guests thought they were going to a screening of her new film “Nanny Cam,” they were in for a special celebration at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Jenni told People magazine, “We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on the people who matter most to us. We weren’t interested in throwing the biggest wedding possible. We wanted an unforgettable moment shared with our closest family and friends. The goal was creating memories, not creating a production.”

She added, “More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us. The surprise element, the family focus, and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful.”

Jenni and Zack opted to hold the wedding at a restaurant so they could “focus on the moment itself instead of the pressure and expense that often comes with weddings.”

Ahead of their big day, the couple told the outlet, “We’ve spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details, and building the surprise. Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they’re attending a special screening for ‘Nanny Cam’ to realizing they’re actually at our wedding will be a moment we’ll never forget.”

Jenni’s kids Meilani and Greyson from her past marriage were also part of the wedding.

They explained, “This wedding is about our family, not just the two of us. We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love story but also the family we’ve built together over the last seven years.”

The wedding comes five years after Zack popped the question at the Empire State Building.

The couple started dating in March 2019 but split up six months later.

They eventually rekindled their romance that December, and he wrote on social media at the time, “You mean absolutely everything to me. You are my world. You are tremendously special in so many ways. You are an absolutely gorgeous woman inside and out. We are incredible together, and I want to be by your side for the rest of time.”

Along with dishing on the star-studded show, Druski also weighed in on one of the biggest headlines right now... Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's highly anticipated wedding.

Like many Swifties, Druski is "just ready for the wedding.”

Travis’ wedding to Taylor Swift is rumored to be happening on July 3 and one of the wedding venues tied to the couple is Madison Square Garden.

Druski commented on the MSG reports, saying, “I don’t know where the wedding’s going to be. I just heard it’s happening. I’m glad for them.”

Gushing about the couple, Druski added, “They’re really good people.”

Druski is getting his jokes ready for the BET Awards, and said it’s “open season,” also teasing that we can expect some great sketches and characters.

Druski is excited to roast some of the major artists, saying, “I like to do improv, so we’ll see. I’m quick on my toes, so we’ll see what happens.”

Derek Hough is kicking off his “Symphony of Dance: Encore” tour tonight!

“Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi spoke with Derek and his wife Hayley from San Diego, where he was prepping for the first stop in El Cajon.

Derek shared, “We’re hitting 40 cities. I’m backstage here. You can kind of see some of the lighting, the rigging here. It’s full out, man. These dancers are incredible. This is going to be an amazing show.”

Derek also introduced Mona to some of the crew.

It’s a family affair with wife Hayley, as they bring their baby girl Everley on the road.

At the time, Everly was “taking a nap.”

Hayley said, “She has to sleep upstairs away from the loud music, but she’s having the time of her life on tour.”

Hayley had a major hand in the show. Derek explained, “This is her show. You know, this was also the show that a couple of years ago was the very show where she had the brain bleed. Being able to redo the show in a different way is so special.”

Hayley is six months postpartum, which Derek called “insanity.”

“Elle” stars Lexi Minetree, Chandler Kinney, and Gabrielle Policano dish with "Extra's" Mona Kosar Abdi on the new “Legally Blonde” prequel series.

Lexi recalled the day Reese Witherspoon surprised her with the news that she got the role of young Elle Woods.

While Lexi thought she’d be meeting with Hello Sunshine producers for another round of interviews, she was surprised to learn that she’d be meeting with Reese instead!

Minetree admitted, “I was a little bit nervous because I’m a planner. I like to come prepared. To not only not be given a heads up, but I’m about to meet one of arguably one of the most famous actresses ever, it’s a little bit intimidating.”

Lexi called Reese “amazing” and “so sweet,” saying, “We did an acting scene together when we got in the room and that’s when they were filming because they filmed, like, every part of the process.”

When Lexi sat down, Reese told her that she got the part!

Minetree joked of her thought process, “I was like, ‘Reese is so nice. Maybe she just came here to reject me in person ’cause that’s how nice she is.’”

Lexi added, "Luckily, she said that I did get it, and it was absolutely incredible. And she changed my life, so I'm so grateful for it."

Minetree reflected on taking on such an iconic role, sharing, "I do think that this high school version of her, you get to see her be a little bit more confident, maybe a little bit less confident. Because she's so confident in the movie. It's everyone else that's catching up to her. But here in high school, you get to see her, like many high schoolers, have bumpier terrain and learn from her friends about how to be the confident woman that we see in the movie.”

Chandler dished on her character Kimberly, who’s a mean girl but has layers to be peeled back.

Chandler was “a little nervous” to play the character, who was “a little creative challenge” for her.

She added, “It was harder than I expected… As an actor, you’ve really got to find a place psychologically to justify some of the things that you’re doing.”

“Lexi Minetree here is the hardest person to be mean,” Chandler quipped. “She just looks at me with those eyes and bats her little eyelashes.”

As for Kimberly, Chandler shared, “She’s fiercely loyal and protective and cares deeply about her people. She just sometimes shows it in a way that I personally won’t condone.”

Gabrielle, who plays Liz, gushed about her character’s friendship with Elle and hers with Lexi in real life!

"Lexi and I are such good friends that it wasn't hard at all for us to find, like, the chemistry or the banter or any of it."

Gabrielle elaborated, “Liz and Elle are very different and also they are both really unabashedly, unapologetically themselves. I think they learn from each other how to do that even more, and I think their friendship is one of the most expected but loveliest things to come out of the show. I think they both impact each other in a really big way.”

Larry David spoke to “Extra” at the L.A. premiere of his new sketch comedy limited series “Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness.”

He talked about teaming up with former President Obama on the project.

“He was terrific. Yeah, we had some back and forth on how things should go… in the show. He’s used to getting his way.”

So is Larry, who said with a smile, "So, we were at odds."

Larry also gave some of his humorous hot takes on air travel and birthdays.

He said of the airlines, "I don't get keeping people on the ground for five hours. If there's a mechanical problem, why don't they… get people off the plane? Why are they torturing everybody? It's so unfair… The president of these airlines should be made to sit in that middle seat for five hours until they fix that.”

When it comes to celebrating birthdays — Larry's 79th is on July 2 — he said, “Sometimes I have no choice ‘cause people want to do something for me. I tell them I tell them no presents because if they get me a present then I have to get them a present. It's a real tit for tat kind of thing, you know. It's a quid pro quo. I don't go for it. I don't like it… And there's so much acting going on with presents. You open them up… and you don't like it generally.”

And don’t ask him to share a piece of birthday cake either, he’s not a fan of four forks and one dessert, as many do with friends at restaurants. "It's unsanitary. Yeah, it's not good,” he said.

Sandra and Nicole are reprising their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who "confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all” in the sequel, directed by Susanne Bier.

In the original, Nicole and Sandra’s characters Gillian and Sally fight a curse on the women in their family that kills any man with whom they fall in love.

Despite the curse, Gillian encourages Sally to “get out there” and “have a little fun” with men.

The trailer introduces the audience to Sally’s daughters, including Kylie and Antonia, who is played by Joey King and Maisie Williams.

In one scene, Kylie tells her sister while they are hiding under the covers, "Remember when mom would tell us stories where everyone who fell in love died? You don't believe we're cursed?”

While Kylie thinks that her family is “a little bit dramatic,” she is confronted by the curse when she falls in love with a man, played by Xolo Mariduena, who is hit by a vehicle as he heads to give her flowers.

Kyle then takes it into her hands to try and “fix the curse.”

Gillian and Sally also try and help break the curse with a visit to Ian Wright, played by Lee Pace.

Sally says, "When you have someone who knows who you were and who you will always be, there is no deeper tie, no stronger bond.”

The movie hits theaters September 11.

“Extra” has an exclusive clip from tonight’s “Most Extreme Humans.”

In the episode, viewers meet Claudio Vieira, who was born with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, a rare condition that causes him to have a backward spine.

Despite his condition, Claudio lives with remarkable independence. In this episode, his nephews help him fulfill his dream of visiting the Sanctuary of Santa Cruz.

In the clip, Claudio talks about his faith and meeting Pope John Paul II as his family helps him make the journey through rocky terrain.

The “Upside Down with a Twist” episode airs Wednesday, June 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
