The Walther P38 was developed in Germany by Carl Walther as a service pistol to replace the Luger P08. Design of the P38 began in 1938 at the beginning of WW2 and production started in 1939. The Walther P38 in my possession is marked (AC)43, AC being Walther’s letter code and 43 the year it was made. Walther initially used a number code to mark their pistols, but later switched to a letter system.

Today’s P38 is the P1 built with modern alloys and a lightweight design, but displaying the same engineering as the original P38.

The muzzle of the pistol is threaded for a screw-in silencer. As noted in the last report, this is not a real silencer - it's just for looks. In a curious turn of events, this silencer actually sharpens and magnifies the report! A flat pop becomes a sharp crack with the can screwed on.

Being a functional guy, I don't go for eye candy, but a lot of shooters do, and the CP88 Tactical pistol was designed for them. To their credit, Umarex cut the foam inside the CP88 Tactical's hard gun case to fit the gun with the silencer mounted, as well as a special spot for it when it's taken off.

Heres the actualll description-Meet the Arc Gun:
The Arc Gun—the most recent non-human weaponry discovery by the Multi-National United—is one bad-ass piece.

It fires a huge charge of electricity to its target, kind of like a bolt of lightening, heating the target enough to cause extreme burns and rapid molecular expansion of gas and fluid. In a soft biological or animal target, an Arc Gun strike can result in a catastrophic explosion. But even a near miss can cause superficial burns and keep an enemy subdued, and bolts landing in the vicinity of a target can cause some area damage as electric current disperses into all nearby conducting bodies.

So with the Arc Gun, the non-humans in District 9 hold the power of lightning in their tentacles. Although most of the known Arc Guns have been confiscated by the MNU to help keep us humans safe, they are one of several non-human weapons floating around the black market…which is basically the scariest thing we’ve heard in a while. Let’s just hope the MNU gets them all.

This has very little to do with integration other than the fact that these guys “integrated” an Airsoft automatic BB gun, video camera, a photography tripod and some servo motors. I’m not sure what is more impressive, how well the thing actually works or that Aaron used his kid brother, Ezra, as a target.

This is the Walther NightHawk BB Gun. As you can see it looks like they threw on every extra peripheral possible. It's got a flashlight, red dot sight, muzzle compensator, microwave, and I think I saw a hot tub. Okay, so no microwave. Still, it is pretty sweet looking. Unfortunately the $160 gun only holds 8 rounds per clip and shoots at a paltry 360 FPS. But besides that, it's cool. Did I mention I like the styling? I like the styling. I think this is just the thing to tote when I'm breaking into the neighbor's house to steal beer at night when I'm too drunk to drive. I've got one on the way, so I'll update and let you know how Mission Too Drunk To Drive But Not Drunk Enough To Sleep goes.
