League of Legends - Poppy

Poppy

Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing great. I'm back and I'm going to write a bit about Poppy. She's a quick and very sneaky character with a huge amount of burst damage. I honestly didn't like her when I first bought her but I started playing her a few weeks ago and OMG she's strong if used right. So lets hope all i explain gives you some insight on how good you can be with her.

Masteries

These masteries focus mostly on AD (Attack Damage). I put 21 points into offense giving you lots of constant physical damage. As for the 9 points into utility focus on Hp regen, improved Ghost, less time spent dead, and to have golum buffs a bit longer. It will make Poppy stronger if you have blue buff for CDR (Cool down Reduction) to help you use your hammer more often.

Runes

This Rune setup focuses mostly on Armor penetration to damage your opponent by ignoring more of there armor. Attack speed to hit faster at the start which helps you kill minions better and Health Regen / 5 which helps keep you gaining constant health since you will enter fights and need to run away at times. This is my setup and the way I find getting the most out of your Runes. Of course many may have different setups but this is what works for me :)

Summoner Spells

My preferred spells on Poppy are Flash and Ghost or Ghost and Promote for Dominion. You should always have ghost to catch up to your adversary or to position yourself for a knock back against a wall. Promote in Dominion will help you push a lane faster because that extra bit of help on a lane can determine a team fight.

Abilities

Valiant Fighter 1)Devastating Blow 2) Pragon of Demacia 3) Heroic Charge 4) Diplomatic Immunity

(Passive) Valiant Fighter - Any damage dealth to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%. This does not reduce damage from structures.

1) Devastating Blow - Poppy crushes her opponent, dealing attack daamge plus a flat amount and 8% of her target's max health as bonus damage. The bonus damage cannot exceed a threshold based on rank.

2) Paragon of Demacia - has 2 different abilities. A passive and an active ability.

Passive: Upon being hit or attack an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased for 5 seconds. This effects stacks up 10 times.

Active: Poppy gains max stacks of Paragon of Demacia and her movement speed is increased for 5 seconds.

3) Heroic Charge - Poppy charges at an enemy and carries them further. The initial impact deals a small amount of damage, and if they collide with terrain, her target will take a high amount of damage and be stunned. This will become extremely usefull if used right. Make sure to always aim for a wall so they get stunned and basically take double damage.

4) Diplomatic Immunity - Poppy focuses intently on a single enemy champion, dealing increased damage to them. Poppy is immune to any damage and abilities from enemies other that her target. Using this to initiate a fight can become extremely deadly for the opposite team. As long as you ult a target before they all start to damage you with everything they have you will win team fights.

Ability Sequence

Rotation

First activate Paragon of Demecia to become stronger and gain speed to position yourself. Second watch your target and bash your opponent toward a wall fallowed by your Devastating Blow. If you charge in and you are surrounded by there team make sure to activate your Diplomatic Immunity on your target so nobody else damages you while you kill your opponent.

Items

Graves, The Outlaw

Hello everyone! I'm glad to provide you some information on "Graves, The Outlaw". In my opinion he looks pretty cool. He looks like the type to get in and make a mess in a team fight. But anyway let me cut to the chase and give you some explanations to some of his abilities.

True Grit (Passive) Graves gains increasing armor and magic resistance the longer he remains in combat. This i believe is OP! lol. You are just made to be an of-tank in a fight and not backing down.

Buckshot

Buckshot is Graves first ability. H fires three bullets in a cone, damage all enemies in the projectiles path. Enemies at close range can be hit by multiple projectiles, but each one beyond the first will deal reduced damage.

Smoke Screen is his second ability. Graves throws a Smoke Screen out to limit enemy vision and slow them in an area making it hard for the opponent

to hit you.

Quick Draw is his third ability. This ability lets him dash in for a quick shotgun blast or escape danger as needed. In this way he can control his positioning to set up maximum damage Buckshot's.

Collateral Damage is Graves ultimate. He will unleash a skill shot that makes the first target it hits, spreading a cone of damage behind its target to hit anybody yellow enough to hide behind the tanks. While the single-target use is simple, properly utilizing the cone is what will separate the good Grave players from the great ones.

League Of Legends - Yorick

Whats up everyone. I decided to take some time and write about Yorick - The Grave Digger. Right now he's my favorite character and the one i use the most. Some don't realize this but he's overpowered. His healing ghoul heals him dramatically. In fights i wouldn't be surprised if you penta-kill a team. After you play him a few times you will see that his rotation and his spells aren't that hard to use.

Masteries

Defense

Well we start with masteries. Although there are many variations of ways you can put your masteries this will give Yorick a big boost in using his ghouls which require CDR (Cool Down Reduction). Yoricks ghouls are his bread and butter. It is extremely important to remember that. So we put 9 into defense to get a big boost in armor, magic resist, and big boost in health regeneration. The more mana you have the more health regeneration you will get. And of course as Yorick you use lots of spells so you require a good chunk of mana to keep casting ghouls.

Utility

The 21 points into utility are very important. They focus on cooldown reduction, movement speed, and hp/mana regeneration. You need to remember CDR is important and you need it to summon your ghouls a lot faster because they are the ones that provide you with kills and provide you with damage reduction when all three are up. I have tried many other talent tree but they are not as effective or will require you to get other items which will ruin your spec.

Runes

Lets talk about Runes. These runes focus on 3 things which are Magic Resist, Armor, and Attack damage. When entering a battle with Yorick it is extremely important to be able to be as durable as you can because you will be face to face with your opponent or opponents. Therefore, you need a boost of armor and magic resist from the start to become a little bit more durable.

Attack damage is the bread and butter of Yoricks stat. You need a good chunk of AD (Attack damage) to increase you and you're ghouls damage output. The more AD you have the more your Omen of Famine will heal you as well.

Summoner Spells

Summoner Spells vary on your taste. But the first and most important spell to me is Flash because it will remove you from a fight which would otherwise kill you. It can also be very useful to catch up to opponents.

Now a second spell you can choose exhaust or ignite. Exhaust will help you catch up with your opponent and reduce all damage he deals if he decides to stick around and that can give you a big boost in a fight.

Spells

Unholy Covenant 1)Omen of War 2)Omen of Pestilence 3)Omen of Famine 4)Omen of Death

Unholy Covenant is Yorick's Passive. Yorick will take 5% reduced damage and his basic attack deals 5% more damage for each ghoul that is active. Yorick's ghouls have 35% of Yorick's Attack Damage and Health as well. This passive ability will make you extremely tanky as long as your ghouls remain alive or are constantly summoned during fights.

Omen of War is Yorick's first ability. On his next attack he will deal bonus physical damage and summon a spectral ghoul that deals additional damage and moves faster than Yoricks other ghouls. While the Spectral Ghoul is alive, Yorick moves faster as well. This becomes very important because you will need to catch up to your targets fast enough to slow them with your next ability.

Omen of Pestilence is Yorick's second ability. Yorick summons a Decaying Ghoul that creates an explosion in a targeted location. This ghoul will deal damage to enemies in range of it and slow them as well. While the Decaying Ghoul remains alive, nearby enemies continue to be slowed. This means that if the ghoul chases your target and eventually hits him/her they will be slowed and this will give you time to catch up to them. This is a very good spell to keep enemies snared for your team.

Omen of Famine is Yorick's third spell. This spell will summon a Ravenous Ghoul that heals Yorick for the damage it deals. This spell needs to be maxed out first because it's what makes Yorick extremely durable during fights. This ghoul will provide health to you while alive so always have him active during fights.

Omen of Death is Yoricks Ultimate ability. Yorick conjures a revenant in the image of one of his allies. If his ally dies while its revenant is alive, the revenant sacrifices itself to reanimate them and give them time to enact vengeance. Basically if you cast this on yourself before you die you will resurrect for a few seconds giving you full health, mana, and 10 seconds or more to kill you're opponent or help an allie escape. I honestly think its wise to die in some occasions lol. Also when you cast this spell you will have a duplicate help you do damage but not as much as the original. That can be used as an advantage to kill someone faster but if the duplicate dies you won't resurrect if they kill you because the Omen of Death was consumed.

Ability Sequence

This sequence will give you the most from you're Omen of Famine to give you self heals. Also Omen of Pestilence is next in points because you want to be able to slow them down as much as possible to catch up to your opponent. Omen of War is for last but still very useful in fights.

Omen Of Famine - Omen of Pestilence - Omen of War

(Rinse and repeat)

Strategy

When entering a battle you should use Omen of Pestilence first to slow your target down if you're trying to catch up to them. If your entering a battle in progress use Omen of Famine first so you will have to ready later in the fight, fallowed by Omen of Pestilence and Omen of War. Having the 3 ghouls up will reduce damage from Unholy Covenant.

2) Manamune (1115)

3) Trinity Force (4070)

4) Warmonger's Armor (3000)

5) Atma's Impalar (2355)

6) The Bloodthirster (3000)

You can start of the game with a Meki Pendant (390) and 2 Health Potions. As you save up gold you can then buy a Tear of the Goddess (605) and Boots of Speed (350). Then purchase Manamune, Mercury Treads, and then rest in the order of the picture. I hope this combination helps. Every fight may vary on the items you get and in what order. If you can get a BF sword from the start then getting a Bloodthirster quick can make you really strong. But that's my opinion of course.

League Of Legends - Leblanc

Hello everyone, this will be my first blog and i have decided to start out with Leblanc. Some of you may know me as XxCautionxX in league of legends. Hopefully my blogs will make you become a stronger and better player. So lets cut to the chase. Although many do not know how to play Leblanc I'm going to give you tips and tricks on how to better yourself with her. I will explain a simple rotation and how to escape fights effectively. But before i do that, let me give an explanation of my masteries, runes, summoner spells, and explain Leblancs Spells.

I consider Leblanc one of my favorite and most used characters because of her burst damage. You basically enter a battle determined to kill someone if your in range. I get an adrenaline rush just by playing her in matches.

Masteries

First, lets start out with your masteries. I put 9 into Offense for CDR(cool-down reduction) and 15% Magic Pen which is Archaic Knowledge. This particular build focuses on CDR . As you may know CDR is the bread and butter of Leblanc in my opinion. You can go for Magic Pen boots but you will only be able to kill 1 person in a fight then have to wait a good 10seconds before you can accomplish another kill. I also put 21 into offense which focuses on move speed, improved flash, mana regen, and CDR on summoner spells. Its very important to use your spells wisely when engaging any type of fight. I will get into that more in a bit.

Runes

This rune setup focuses mostly on AP (Ability Power). As you can see i put AP per level runes which will help you become stronger as your levels increase making you stronger each level. The 8.5 MP (Magic Pen) will help you at the beginning but you will need to get more later on to hit with bigger burst damage. Many other players have there own way of setting up these runes but i found this the most effective way for me.

Summoner Spells

My preferred spells are Flash and Clarity. I pick flash because it gives me the security of getting out of a fight. As for clarity, it helps by not having to get mana regen runes, mana pots, and mana items at the start. You're basically saving lots by getting clarity although endgame it may not be useful but at the start of the game its very important.

Leblanc Spells

Mirror Image , 1)Sigil Of Silence , 2)Distortion , 3)Ethereal Chains , 4)Mimic

Mirror Image is Leblanc passive. When your below 40% health, she instantly becomes stealth for half a second and creates a mirror image of herself to confuse her enemy and escape a burst damage attack which would otherwise kill her.

Sigil Of Silence is her first ability. It is her main damage source. When using this ability on an enemy it will leave a magic damage mark on the target for 3.5 seconds. If the target takes damage while the mark is on it will trigger, dealing damage and silencing the target. Now if you use this spell wisely against a caster you can cause a lot of confusion since they are silenced and rearrange you're rotation to escape or do more damage.

Distortion is her Second damage ability which does 3 different things. First, it can teleport you to a location and deal damage to the target and "Silencing" the target if it hits. Second, when you teleport to a location you can also click the spell again to move back to you're first location which helps to loose enemies in times of distress. And third, It can be used to escape fights which you know you won't win.

Ethereal Chains is her third ability. This spell will fling an illusionary chain toward a target location. If it hits the enemy it will deal initial damage and slow them by 25%. If the target remains in range it will root them in place for 2 seconds and they will be delt a 2nd amount of damage as well.

Mimic is Leblancs Ultimate ability. What this spell does is cast a more potent version of her previous spell. In other words it lets you cast any of her abilities a second time but with more damage.

Rotation

Lets say I'm in a bush hiding and I'm level 6. A target is coming toward the bush where I'am. I see him and the first thing you should cast if he's coming straight to you is your Ethereal Chains fallowed by Sigil of Silence and Mimic. Leave distortion for last encase you need to escape or encase you need that little extra boost of damage.

If fighting in mid lane or you're charging toward a target the best thing to do is wear your target down if he has full health by using Ethereal Chains, Sigil of Silence, Mimic, then Ethereal Chains to return to your location. Sometimes its not wise to rush to a kill. Patience is a virtue so they say :)

If you see your target has a quarter of his health left, then keep your distance and wait for spells to come back (this is where having CDR is important).

Some players believe more damage is better because a full rotation of your spells will kill almost any target. This is true is some cases but i prefer survival. It all depends on the champions in the opposite team.

Strategy

I believe you shouldn't remain in a lane after level 6 with Leblanc. She should be roaming around looking for kills and pushing lanes after a kill to turn the tides of a game. The reason why roaming around is important is because you can blink into a fight and burst large amounts of damage in seconds. With Ethereal Chains you can help melee allies catch there targets as well. I believe its all about waiting for the right time to strike so don't rush into a fight and not have an escape route.

These items will give you a high potency of damage mixed with cap CDR. Each match you play will make you consider buying different items to improve the tide of battle. We will talk more about that during the week. I'm hoping to get comments on what items you feel are better to get and why. I hope all i provided was helpful and if you feel that i should add anything more in particular please let me know and i will work on it right away. I'm here to provide information and my wisdom to help you :)

To give you an idea of the items and how good you will do. Only thing i changed is "The Will of The Ancients" since i needed some spell vamp to live a bit longer. I finished that match with 6k gold as well. Hope this helps. Enjoy! :)
