I have lactose intolerance and find myself getting uncomfortable with alot of Whey protein powders I've tried before. Not with this one.
It also easily dissolves in cold water, which I like. I don't even use a mixer, most of the time I bring a coffee sipper and swish it around there. I love the taste of chocolate mint with cold water, it's very refreshing after a workout.

But even when choosing a multi it can sometimes be confusing since the ingredient list can be so long, and the amounts of each vitamin and mineral can vary sometimes quite a bit. This big bottle of Kirkland's signature is just about as complete as you can get, at a truly great price. I have no doubt that there are other multi vitamins out there that have a little more of something in them here and there. But you will have to look close and pay a lot more money for sure. This is a very complete regimen all in one, and the very best multi at the price in my opinion. One thing that this does include in it is Lycopene. I've been using Kirkland Signature Multi-Vitamins and Minerals for a number of years now. I've always been very satisfied with the products, even though it's a hard thing for an individual to test on any kind of scientific basis. I use them because my diet might not cover all essential ingredients and the vitamin/mineral tablet is a cheap insurance policy in that regard. Plus, Consumer Reports always has the Kirkland Signature brand ranked very high among those available and the cost is among the lowest. The tablets are a little large for swallowing, but I just break them in half with my fingers and the halves are no problem.

Well, it was time to replace the multi-vitamin supply and this time I picked up the Mature Multi. I don't know that it will make much difference but I'm now 74 and definitely qualify for being a senior. Getting the Mature formulation makes sense.

Recently, a study was published which indicated that saffron could help one's vision. I decided to test that result using this product by taking two pills per day for about two months up until the date of my next eye examination. When the day arrived, the examiner told me that my prescription could be tweaked a little, but essentially my eyesight was the same as it was a year ago. This is the first time in 26 years that I have been to an eye exam and not been informed that my eyesight had grown worse. (In fact, earlier this year, before starting the saffron, I tried on a pair of glasses with lenses from a five year old prescription and discovered that they were too weak to help me read or drive.) This is at a great price for the quality of the product. Very highly rated in Lyle MacWilliam's "Nutrisearch Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements". In that book there are several products he rates slightly higher, but this is the best one I've found with a reasonable price. Of course, you shouldn't rely on a capsule to get your nutrition (and I don't) but with mineral depletion in commercial farmlands being what it is, this stuff is great insurance, and WAY more effective than the mass marketed useless products like Centrum, One-A-Day, etc.

These are the best vitamins I"ve ever taken. I've never felt any different when taking any other vitamin, but with these I do. I noticed that after two weeks the dark rings I was beginning to develop under my eyes are gone, and I have more energy. These vitamins do upset my stomach slightly if I don't take them with food, but if I do, no problems.
I highly recommend these vitamins over others I have taken from Kirkland, GNC, Centrum, etc.

For all those mature individuals with the early stages of Macular degeneration, I highly recommend this product,after using this for less than one month, I can detect an improvement in my eyesight. It is a bit costly but well worth it as the product does work!!!!!

When I was diagnosed with the start of AMD, my doctor told me to take these vitamins. I don't know how much of my stabilization/improvement relates to the vitamins, but I give them at least some of the credit. However, these are NOT to be taken if you haven't been diagnosed.
