“As much as maintaining unruly hair downstairs is important, we can’t forget the hair upstairs as well.
Eyebrow maintenance is key, people and that includes you boys. The brows frame the face to perfection, open the eyes, balance the features and shave (or should we say pluck) years off the appearance.

Director and chief brow artist Svetlana Bruckhardt, of Woollahra based salon Eyebrow Experts, says a love and appreciation of the littler locks is essential to the beauty regime. “People so often neglect eyebrows in their grooming regime and it’s a big mistake”, she said.

“They are so important and can conceal or draw attention away from facial flaws. If they are done professionally and are symmetrical, they are as powerful as a face lift. ”

But be warned. Choose your beautician carefully.

A good aesthetician will work with you to create the perfect arch for you.” Bruckhardt says.

“I ask questions to find out exactly what the client is trying to achieve, whether it’s growing brows back in, or creating a finer, more contoured shape. Personally, I don’t believe people should blindly follow trends. The thickness or thinness of your eyebrows should be tailored to your face and personality. ”
