Wow, cool? Absoluly very nice! Now, let’s start! Creat a new document, size 640×480.

Fill background color #a07f0d

Creat a new layer, pick Pollygon Lasso Tool Draw some sharp like this :

Fill this selection with #c9a62c color.

Pick Pentool , draw a sharpe :

Pick Direct Selection Tool Right click on each line segment and choose “Add anchor point”. Drag anchor point to make a curve…

Right click on this layer sharp, choose Rasterize Layer. Pick Brush Tool , anh choose this brush :

Creat a new layer, name it Sun, put this layer under “grass field” layer. Set foreground to #c03d09.

Pick Eliptical Marquee Tool Draw a circle at this area :

Creat a new layer. Download this brush : Vector Curves Load brush to Photoshop, anh choose this brush :

Click one time on the document like this:

Pick Eraser anh erase a little on the right part :

Right click on this layer and choose Blending Option, set this option :

Load this gradient :

Draw Sony Erricssion Logo

Making a great logo requires lot of techniques. Today, let’s take a look at Sony Erricssion logo to clone your own one. Studying about the shadowing and shading skills.

1. Creat new document, size 600 x 600

2. Use Eliptical Marquee Tool to make new selections like this

3. Make new layer, name it “1″, use this gradient to fill to fill follow the direction

4. Use pen, Creat 2 shape like this, right-click in first shape, select Make Selection and choose New Selection on new box was opened

In second shape, we right-click and select Make Selection too, but in new box, choose Add to selection

5. Then delete

6. Creat new circle select on new layer name “2″, fill this gradient

7. make new layer again, name that “3″, select circle selection, and fill the gradient down there

8. Use pen, creat this shape to Make Selection again

9. Fill this gradient for new selection on layer “4″ (new layer)

10. Use Blur Tool on 3 spots like the below illustrated image

11. Select layer “2″, create few shadows

12. Make new select like this, fill white color

13. Now, delete layer “background”, create new layer on top then go to Image >> Apply Image

14. Drop shadow for it

15. Add text, creat simple background.

Drawing a Sun

This is not a hard tutorial using too complicated techniques in Illustrator. With some basic steps, a newbie can practice how to use tools in Illustrator

1. Creat new document, size 600 x 600 px

2. Creat new layer, fill white color, use Soft Brush tool ( hardness = 50% ) draw randomly like this

3. Go to filter >> blur >> radial blur and Ctrl + F few times

4. Use Soft Brush tool again with darker yellow color, light red, dark red

5. When i radial Blur again 2,3 times, we have

6. use Color Balance ( ctrl + B ) to repair color ,add more yellows

7. Creat new circle select, feather = 20 px. Hit Ctrl + J to bring it to new layer. Filter >> Distort >> Spherize 100%

8. Creat new layer, use Gradient Tool fill color like that

9. Change blending mode = Screen for this layer

10. Duplicate new layer yellow fill, “thu nhá»” blending mode = darken opacity = 10%

11. Creat new layer, go to Image >> Apply Image

12. Go to Filter >> Render >> Len Flare with Len Type = Movie Prime, Brightness = 200%

Page Layout in Illustrator

There’s no point buying another expensive Adobe Sofware Indesign to make your own newspaper or even your own assignment. Illustrator is an additional method!!!

1. Creat new document, choose size that you want, in here I choose A4 landscape

2. Use Type Tool creat a new type area in this page, should distant from margins about 20 >> 30 pt

Now we align this area with artboard

then click in 2 icons down here

3. Get text to the area, use Type Tool, click into the type area, then go to File >> Place and import your text document ( *.txt, *.doc, *.rtf … )

4. Split columns and rows

In this box, width and height are size of text area.

Some important notice:

Span : height or width of 1 row or 1 column

Gutter : distance between 2 rows or 2 columns

Text Flows assign the way for text run ( for Eng or Chinese text style )

Inset Spacing : the distance between margins and text …

5. work with paragraph Windows >> Type >> Paragragh to open paragraph pallet

1 spot is distance between left margin and text

2 spot is distance between right margin and text

3 spot is distance between left margin and headline

6. Type Orientation ( define type direction by vertical or horizontal )

7. When the type area have a picture placed, do you want your text fill around your pic ?

Select 2 obj ( text and pic ) then go to Object >> Text Warp >> Make

offset : spacing between you pic margin and text

8. When your text file is too long, text area cant show all, you need text’ll show on next box.

Use Type Tool creat a new box type, select 2 box then go to Type >> Threaded Text >> Creat

9. How to type text on the path. First, you must creat a path then Use Type Tool and click in this path and start typing. Custom text run style on path: go to Text >> Type on a path >> Type on a path options

10. Type text on shape

Creat a new shape. Use Area Type Type Tool or Vertical Area Type Tool.

That all basic skill to layout the page in illustrator … Hope it usefull !

Photomanipulation Basic

This is the very first step when learning to manipulate photos in Photoshop. Everything has a starting point so let’s begin now!

1. Open background stock

and 2 obj stocks

2. First step, select 3 obj and bring them out of their background, should set Feather = 2 px before u select

3. Send all obj to the background, zoom these to real size

4. You can see, around these obj have a blur light stroke, dont worry, that problem ‘ll solve soon .

Duplicate the background layer, select blending mode = Multiply to define the light source.

5. now, we ‘ll work with the ball, lock all layer subtract ball layer. Use Eliptical Marquee Tool to make selection with feather = 30 px, make new layer, use Dodge tool to make highlights

6 .Select the ball selection again by hold Ctrl and clicking to the ball’s layer thumbnail

Use Burn Tool ( range = midtone ) and Soft Brush opacity = 8% with large size to make shadows

Use Burn Tool ( range = hightlight ) and Eraser ( hardness = 75% ) with small size to clear the white color around the ball

7. Hold Ctrl and click to ball’s layer thumbnail, hit Ctrl + J, fill black color, hit Ctrt + T , right-click and select Distort to transform this shape to be a ball’s shadow

Move the shadow layer to lie down ball layer

Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur with 8 px.

8. Make new layer and use Soft Brush with large size to add more shadow detail

Result !!

9. Continue with mouse object. Use Lasso Tool to select the selection front of the mouse , feather 10 px,
make new layer, fill white color, opacity = 40%

10. use Burn & Dodge Tool to make shadows and highlights

11. now is the mouse’s shadows on floor, mouse’s head should be lighten than its tail

Done the mouse obj ..!! We Finished.

Create cartoon character

This character is from Naruto anime, which is famous not only among Japanese crazy fans but also worldwide. This tutorial will use Photoshop to draw and color Rock Lee. Let’s take part in!

Step 1

Create new document, 600 x 600 px set foreground and background to these colors : #ffffff and #2f6156

Then go to Filter >> Render >> Clouds

Create new layer. Hit G button to select Gradient Tool with default foreground and background color, and fill with follow the direction.

Change layer’s blending mode to Multiply

Step 2

Now we have a background. Link the two layers and merge them down.

Use Eliptical Marquee Tool to creat the selection, fill back color ( ON NEW LAYER ), then use Pen draw this path like this ( with 3 anchor point )

Right-click on screen, click Make Selection, choose New Selection on new menu

Fill #fee0c8 color ( on new layer )

More light detail and we finish his head

Use Pen, draw two path like this

Right-click on screen, choose Stroke Path with 45 px brush

Use Elipse Tool to draw this path

Make Selection, fill white color on new layer

Change to Path palette, click on Work Path layer to select the elip path we created, Stroke Path with 8 px brush

Zoom in. Use Eliptical Marquee Tool to creat this selection

Fill black color

Some details

Copy to left eye

Step 3

Nose and Mouth

Draw this path

Make selection and Stroke Path same last step, add some details path, Stroke it. Use Magic Wand Tool to select

Fill with #ffffff color. Continue with #486a3d color

REMEMBER( deselect the selection before you stroke path )

add some Shadow with Burn tool

Shade another item

and color the belt with #584e29.

and

Copy his right hand, transform it to his left hand and … We done ./.
