<p>Here&#8217;s How to Improve Your Google Rankings:</p>
<p><strong>1. Avoid Link Schemes</strong></p>
<p>Google is working to provide their users with the information they are looking for and they strictly discourage the marketing of your products as content.</p>
<p>If products on your site have too many backlinks that use anchor text with the exact same name, it will be considered a negative.</p>
<p>Avoid buying links and using linking networks to improve your site&#8217;s ranking. Very sparingly use the matching of anchor text on other sites to link to your products.</p>
<p><strong>2. Find High Quality Sites for Links</strong></p>
<p>When guest posting to other sites, choose popular sites that are relevant to yours. Steer clear of sites with low quality content whose emphasis looks to be on creating links instead of valuable information.</p>
<p>For example online directory links are now considered worthless and could be harmful. Be cautious with your linking strategy and contribute to other sites wisely.</p>
<p><strong>3. Do Not Keyword Stuff</strong></p>
<p>If your site has keywords that are inserted too many times to improve the page rankings, then it is considered a form of spam. Use synonyms for keywords in case you have to repeat them frequently. Never increase keyword concentration to more than 2-3% of the total content.</p>
<p><strong>4. Create Original Content</strong></p>
<p>If your content is copied from other sources of the internet and used with only minor differences, it is said to be spun. Content Spinning is treated as plagiarism and is highly intolerable for the search engines.</p>
<p>Additionally, be careful to avoid having numerous pages on your site that contain predominately identical content. It could be viewed as deliberate duplication in order to improve your search engine rank.</p>
<p>Post original, new content to your site on a regular basis for best search engine ranking.</p>
<p><strong>5. Avoid Deception</strong></p>
<p>Don&#8217;t cloak your site&#8217;s content using technology like Flash or JavaScript. Cloaking shows different content to human vs. search engines and it violates Google&#8217;s terms. Ensure your<br />
content is the same and visible to both.</p>
<p>Further avoid any incoming links from untrustworthy sites known to spread malware or viruses. A link from a deceptive site affects your site too.</p>
<p>Build back links from reputable sources like websites belonging to educational institutions, news agencies, etc. Always maintain unique and authentic content and keep away from all black-hat SEO techniques. <p>By using your amazing mind and learning and growing from mistakes and failures, by thinking outside the box, by believing in yourself and pushing yourself to become who you want to be, by working on yourself to shift to a positive mindset.</p>
<p>So &#8220;what is&#8221; going to stop you?</p>
<p>The limiting beliefs, that limit what people can accomplish &#8211; until they are reprogrammed in their thinking. Unfortunately, too many people aren&#8217;t interested in self-help so they go through their life frustrated by their inability to be successful.</p>
<p>They accept their &#8220;lot in life&#8221; as what they are destined for, or they rebel against themselves or life in some way (drugs, alcohol, loveless sex, crime, etc.).</p>
<p>Everyone gets some bad programming, but it can always be overcome.</p>
<p>If there&#8217;s enough desire to succeed &#8211; whatever success means to the individual &#8211; the way can be found. The most empowering attitude is gratitude for what you have, and a total commitment to overcome any obstacles.</p>

<p>Most entrepreneurs have great talents but many times they think they can do it all. Unfortunately, That can really stall the growth of your business. By outsourcing the day to day back-office tasks you, the business owner, have more time to focus on generating income.<span id="more-740"></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Entrepreneurs have long seen outsourcing as a strategy reserved for big business, but technology has made it a more accessible tool for small businesses&#8211;and for some small firms, outsourcing has made a powerful impact on their growth, productivity and bottom lines.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>More small businesses are outsourcing tasks these days because technology has advanced to the point of professionals being able to work from anywhere in the world, coupled with the availability and accessibility of extremely qualified professionals who have decided or been forced to leave the corporate world, [such as] virtual executive assistants, marketing directors, graphic designers, transcriptionists, paralegals, web designers, HR consultants, bookkeepers, PR directors, IT specialists, and the list goes on.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>These freelancers come on board as subcontractors and save the small business owner the burden of paying overhead associated with payroll taxes and expenses such as health insurance and worker&#8217;s compensation, as well as the space constrictions that growing a company in-house can present.<br />
Taking the first steps toward outsourcing can be time-consuming, but figuring out how to build your business with help from outside professionals can offer increased efficiencies and economies of scale.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>When to Outsource</strong></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>For very small businesses (1 &#8211; 10 employees) and home-based businesses (solo-preneurs) I recommend outsourcing from the very beginning. Starting out with a bookkeeper and a virtual assistant, and growing the team from there. In our own business, we now have contracts with a web developer, a ghost writer, a graphic designer, quality assurance team and project manager.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>What to Outsource</strong></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Chances are you&#8217;re already outsourcing some business tasks, such as payroll administration or background and criminal checks for employment. And these days, almost any task can be outsourced, with so many qualified professionals leaving the corporate world to work as freelancers or contractors.</p>
<p>However, just because you can outsource a task doesn&#8217;t mean you should.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t outsource something just because you don&#8217;t want to do it. Sometimes there are things you don&#8217;t want to do but they are important to your core business.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Before choosing which tasks you can farm out, take a hard look at your business and determine your strengths and values. Small businesses must identify their core competencies and capabilities and focus their own R&amp;D, talent management and resources on being the best in their industry at these.</p>
<p>Outsourcing any aspect of [these tasks] would be a big mistake because they would cease to offer anything that their own customers couldn&#8217;t get elsewhere. So a small business that focuses on product design should not outsource anything related to developing its internal design talent or their design activities. But they should investigate all opportunities for outsourcing tangential processes like payroll services, IT and so on.</p>
<p>The types of tasks that are best outsourced fall into three general categories. They include:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">• <strong>Highly skilled, or executive, expertise</strong>. For example, you may not need to pay a CFO&#8217;s salary, but you could have a CFO-level person to come in a few times each month to provide financial analysis and ensure that the bookkeeper is handling the books well.<br />
• <strong>Highly repetitive tasks</strong>. Accounts payable, data entry and shipping inventory could fall into this category.<br />
• <strong>Specialized knowledge</strong>. An example might be the IT support for your accounting system or your network. You may not be able to afford or need a full-time IT person, and it is easier to change to an outsourced provider with the right skill set as your IT needs change.</p>
<p>These are just examples. Every business has specific needs and specific duties that may or may not need outsourcing, please analyze your situation and use these guidelines to help make the right decision for your specific situation.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Finding the Right Contractors</strong></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Before handing over the reins, be sure you&#8217;re working with the right partner. While technology makes it much easier than it once was to find capable, reliable outsource providers, the selection process is still vitally important. A good starting place is your own network; ask other business owners or your accountant, lawyer, or banker if they can recommend a provider offering the services you need. Online networks like LinkedIn make it easy to expand your personal networks and to ask for recommendations.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>In the absence of a good recommendation from a friend or acquaintance, there are other options. A number of online services such as <a href="http://www.odesk.com"><strong>oDesk</strong></a> or <a href="http://www.elance.com"><strong>eLance</strong></a> serve as virtual marketplaces for contractors and business owners to connect and begin working relationships.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Whether you use a web-based marketplace, a personal referral, or a personalized matchmaking consultant, the key to identifying the right contractor is to know exactly what you&#8217;re looking for.<br />
Based on personal experience, I would recommend only using outsourcing resources that are within 100 miles radius of your location. I&#8217;ve had some bad experiences (I won&#8217;t go into details here) with offshore resources, so if you are just getting into the outsourcing realm, then it would be a good idea to start off with a 100 mile radius scenario… Make sense?</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: large;"><strong>Making it Work</strong></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>After you&#8217;ve found a provider, your work isn&#8217;t over yet. Even after you&#8217;ve checked references, don&#8217;t be afraid to put a little extra time creating a specific contract that outlines exactly what performance is expected. Use incentives to motivate the outsourcer to focus on what is most important to you rather than their own preferences or their assumptions about what you want.</p>

<p>The tip is to easily make your unsubscribe link accessible. It sounds simple and it is something that is already in your emails, but you probably aren’t doing this…</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>At the very top of your email you are going to add 2 links. A link where the anchor text is “<strong>Unsubscribe</strong>”, and the other reads “<strong>Report as Spam</strong>”. These links are to be placed before any other content, at the very top of the mail. Both will be linked to your unsubscribe or “manage your subscription” pages. Most, if not all, email marketing platforms (<a href="http://aweber.com/?300488"><strong>Aweber</strong></a>, Get Response, IContact, etc.) will have a short code (also known as a merge code). If you are having trouble finding this code, you can always copy and paste it from the bottom of your email template.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The idea here is to take focus away from the “native” “report spam” button, you know, the one that is a part of gmail or other mail provider’s interface. Hopefully, you can direct those unhappy clicks to just unsubscribe from your list. Trust me you don’t want them on your list anyway.</p>

<p>A friend of friend was able to implement this tip and was able to drop his complaint percentage rate by more than half. This can work wonders for your ISP relationships and general email deliverability. If you plan on sending a controversial mail, or something that has a bold message, consider giving this a shot.</p>

<p>Well, according to the Small Business Administration(SBA) you have about a 40% chance of succeeding.</p>
<p>The SBA new statistical findings show two-thirds of new businesses survive at least two years, and 44 percent survive at least four years. As a general rule of thumb, the SBA states new businesses have about a 40% chance of surviving for five years or more.<span id="more-706"></span></p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve been under long-held belief that 50% of businesses fail in the first year and 95% fail within five years, you can put those dismal stats behind you. The truth is you do have a realistic chance of success.</p>
<p>The bad news is if you do not run your business well, your business could fail within 5 years. And according to the NFIB over the lifetime of a business only 39% are profitable. Another 30% of business break even, the other 30% lose money and 1% cannot say.</p>
<p>So how do you make your business one of the profitable 39% that succeeds for the long term?</p>
<p>You start by avoiding these 5 big mistakes. I have been profitably running F &amp; A Worldwide Solutions (FAWWS) since 2007 and I speak from experience. I have battled the mistakes I am about to review and I have worked with 100s of small businesses over the years. Thus, I have seen what works and what doesn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Here is what you need to avoid.</p>
<p><strong>1) Fail to establish a team.</strong></p>
<p>I saw a great definition of entrepreneur in an email I received from Dan Lok a few years ago. Entrepreneur was defined as an individual who uses the time and money of others to make his ideas a reality.</p>
<p>Think about that definition and your own business. Are you doing all of the work in your business yourself? If yes, you need to re-evaluate.</p>
<p>Too many small business people are caught up in doing the day to day tasks of running their businesses. As a result, they are unable to work on the bigger picture of growing their businesses. When your business is not growing and improving it is falling behind and headed for extinction.</p>
<p>You have to stop trying to be your own copy writer, web designer, customer support staff, product innovator, tax accountant, marketer, search engine optimizer, press release contact, book keeper, etc., etc., etc..</p>
<p>Start becoming a believer in the following: Do what you do best and farm out the rest!?</p>
<p><strong>2) Fail to establish a niche.</strong></p>
<p>Who is your target audience?</p>
<p>Let me share a story with you . . .</p>
<p>A few days ago, during a website evaluation/business strategy session, I was helping a customer with the design of his website and giving him tips on how best to effectively market his business. I asked him what is the website about. He told me that the site was geared towards weight loss, because that is his expertise, however, he also wants to sell affiliate products on the make money online niche, because he hears that there is money to be made there.</p>
<p>His primary reason for requesting a one-on-one session with me was because he wanted to know what he could do to improve the results he was receiving from the site. I honestly, I told him he needed to start again and build a business with a single niche.</p>
<p>I told him he needed to select one of those 2 niches and focus his energies on that niche only. What he didn&#8217;t realize was that there was no reason for anyone to go to this site and actually want to buy something. The site was all over the map. There was no clear defined niche, there wasn&#8217;t any no-brainer offer and no unique selling proposition. I expect, if anyone happened to go to the site, they would promptly go elsewhere.</p>
<p>So I explained to him that he needed to really re-define his business and focus his attention on implementing the 7 Step Process, I have been teaching him, and he will see the results in a relatively short period of time. I explained to him, that in order for him to compete and be out there with the &#8220;Big Dogs&#8221;, he needed to do this ASAP.</p>
<p>I then gave him a few reasons as to why he needed to do this and actually stay in business. I gave him an example of F &amp; A Worldwide Solutions (FAWWS). FAWWS is a website development and marketing company that provides small and home businesses custom websites along with a marketing strategy that will bring the businesses the monthly revenue they are hoping for.<br />
We implement the 7 step process on a weekly basis and we are able to stay in business because we are only focused on a specific target audience. In other words, we don&#8217;t try to attract small business entrepreneurs and franchise businesses at the same time. <p><strong>3) Fail to create a Unique Selling Proposition &#8211; USP.</strong></p>
<p>Why should your customers buy from you and not your competition?</p>
<p>Evaluate your business for what makes it unique and attractive for your customers. Summarize your key selling points that make your product or service a &#8216;must have&#8217; for your clients.</p>
<p>Emphasize your USP in your promotions and marketing. It is your USP that will attract prospects to your business rather than your competition.<br />
A good way for you to bring forth a USP is by brain storming and coming up with a no-brainer offer (step 2 in the 7 step process).<br />
Doing this will help you create a USP a lot easier.</p>
<p><strong>4) Fail to organize.</strong></p>
<p>You must plan.</p>
<p>First you need to have a vision for your business. What are your business goals? How are you going to achieve those goals? What are you going to sell? How are you going to find and service customers so you can grow?</p>
<p>Second, you need to plan your time. If you are a disorganized mess, with to do lists on scrap paper all over your desk, it&#8217;s time to get a planner and use it. Your business needs your guidance, if you cannot manage your time, how will you manage your business?</p>
<p><strong>5) Fail to market.</strong></p>
<p>Marketing will make or break your online business. As you know there are hundreds of thousands of websites, you have to continually promote your site to let people know you exist. If people do not know your site is out there they are certainly not going to find it by chance.</p>
<p>In the offline world, when you have a storefront, marketing while important, is not as critical to your success. Location, on the other hand is crucial. If you have a good location where consumers naturally will see your storefront, this in effect does a lot of your marketing for you.</p>
<p>To succeed online, rather than a great location, you need great marketing that continually promotes your site. If you are caught up in handling the everyday operations of your business (i.e. you fail to have a Team) and neglect your marketing, you quickly will have no business.</p>
