Dave Ramsey, a money management expert and popular national radio personality, created FPU &amp;#8211; a program that teaches people how to make the right decisions with their money and achieve their financial goals. Twenty-one FORUM employees have graduated from FPU, several additional employees have engaged in classes as their schedule has allowed, and ten employees have taught these classes at FORUM locations in the evenings.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

The event is considered a focal point for teaching the benefits of saving and goal setting as well as inviting young people to open saving accounts at their credit union and make deposits this week and throughout the year. Participants are entered to win once they enroll in the program, complete four out of seven financial steps, and set and meet at least one goal. The financial steps include items like completing a budgeting worksheet, reviewing a free credit report, and submitting a personal savings story for FORUM&amp;#8217;s website. Three goal categories are offered: Savings, Debt Reduction, and Financial Education. By completing these goals, participants are entered to win $3,000 for the Savings goal, $3,000 for the Debt Reduction goal, and $1,500 for the Financial Education goal. To help participants during the program, Financial Accountability Partners are available at every FORUM Branch location. </description>

                            <title>FORUM Employees Present Van to Homeless Shelter</title>
                            <description>&lt;strong&gt;Indianapolis, Indiana, January 15, 2010&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;#8211; FORUM Credit Union employees raised money throughout 2009 by taking part in a variety of activities with the hopes of buying a 15 passenger van for Dayspring Center, an emergency shelter that assists homeless families with children in central Indiana. In December 2009, FORUM met its goal and presented a $20,000 van to the Dayspring staff and board in conjunction with FORUM&amp;#8217;s employee holiday luncheon. Employees filled the van with pillows, food items, toiletries, and clothing. Twelve $100 gasoline gift cards were also presented to the shelter &amp;#8211; a gift card for each month of 2010.&lt;br&gt;</description>
