#Seahawks will give WR Percy Harvin more snaps after Week 12 bye

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters wide receiver Percy Harvin will have his snap count limit removed after their Week 12 bye. Harvin caught one pass (just one target) for 17 yards in his return last week. The former Minnesota #Vikings' receiver said he felt sore after last week's game in which he played 19-of-52 offensive snaps. He is also scheduled to be the team's primary kick returner.

Who's in and who's out of the early games in Week 11

This week's rundown of the early game injuries pretty much focuses on one team, the Atlanta #Falcons. That's because tight end Tony Gonzalez and wide receiver Harry Douglas are listed as questionable. Past that, we'll keep an eye on Michael Floyd and Martellus Bennett, but there's not a whole lot else to track this morning, which I guess is a good thing. If we see any updates on Vernon Davis, Shane Vereen, Percy Harvin or anyone else before the early kickoffs, we'll pass it along. Keep updating this post until 1 p.m. Eastern for all of your Sunday morning injury updates.
-- According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Percy Harvin will play about 15 snaps today versus the #Vikings. I have no doubt that some of those snaps will include plays drawn up specifically for him, but that low number undoubtedly makes Harvin a very risky WR3. Consider your other options.
-- #Eagles QB Michael Vick is inactive. The Eagles keep listing him as questionable due to his hamstring injury, but he won't play again for the Eagles, barring injury, with how well Nick Foles is performing.
-- Good news for Matt Ryan: The Falcons have both TE Tony Gonzalez and WR Harry Douglas active. Both were questionable, and Gonzalez was a true game-time decision. However, he is still a TE1 and worth starting versus the Bucs. Douglas is a WR3, but one with a really nice matchup as Darrelle Revis will be tied up with Roddy White.
-- Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that as long as #49ers TE Vernon Davis doesn't suffer a setback before today's game versus the #Saints, he will play. With that being known, I think Davis is a fairly safe start. He needs to be deployed if he's active.
-- #Lions WR Calvin Johnson is ready to roll against the #Steelers. WR Nate Burleson is inactive, as expected. However, he might return from his broken arm in Week 12.
-- #Cardinals WR Michael Floyd is active despite being listed as questionable with a shoulder sprain. He is a middling WR3 today versus the #Jaguars.
-- Jaguars WRs Cecil Shorts and Mike Brown are active. Brown is a desperation start, but Shorts should see a bunch of targets, even though he will see a lot of CB Patrick Peterson. He is a solid WR3.
-- #Jets TE Kellen Winslow has served his four-game suspension. He and fellow Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland are not worth starting against the #Bills.
-- #Ravens WR Marlon Brown is inactive due to the knee injury that landed him on the injury report late in the week. It's going to be tough for the #Bears or the Ravens to throw today with wind gusts up to 60 MPH.
-- As expected, Jets WR Santonio Holmes is active for the first time since Week 4 today. He'll be on a snap count, so he's not worth putting in your lineup versus the Bills.
-- #Redskins WR Josh Morgan is inactive. He is a healthy scratch. He has 11 catches in nine games this season.
-- As expected, #Browns RB Willis McGahee is active. I want nothing to do with him. He has no juice left in those legs.
-- #Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham is active after missing last week's game due to a strained hamstring. He is only a TE2 versus the Browns today in stormy Cincinnati.
-- Bears TE Martellus Bennett is active despite missing some practice time due to a bad ankle. He was listed as questionable. He is not a good play in windy Chicago versus the Ravens.
-- In another late-game note, Vikings QB Christian Ponder is expected to start today versus the #Seahawks. Expect him to hand it off to Adrian Peterson 25+ times against a defense that hasn't been all that great versus the run lately. The Vikings' passing game is hands off for fantasy purposes.
-- #Texans RB Ben Tate will continue to play through his cracked ribs. He is a solid RB2 versus the #Raiders today.
-- Jets WR Stephen Hill is active, but he's not worth your time in a bad-weather game in Buffalo.

#49ers TE Vernon Davis still in non-contact practice, listed as questionable

49ers tight end Vernon Davis said Tuesday that he was quot;feeling great" two days after suffering a concussion. But at the end of the practice week, Davis' fantasy owners probably don't know what to feel about him for Sunday's game against the #Saints. For the second consecutive day, Davis went through practice while sporting non-contact jersey, a sign that he hasn't yet been cleared to play. But he could gain that clearance at some point this weekend. For what it's worth, Davis sounded fairly optimistic when asked if he will suit up.
"It all depends on how I feel the next two days," Davis said. "Up to this point, I've been fine. No complaints or worries."

#49ers TE Vernon Davis expected to play Sunday

There hasn't been a substantial update on Vernon Davis' status for Week 11 today. The most we've got to go on comes in a blog post from beat writer Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee. Barrows wrote Saturday that Davis quot;is expected to play following a concussion suffered last week. The 49ers, however, likely will wait until the last possible moment to announce that Davis has been cleared for the game." The 49ers battle #Saints on Sunday.

#Seahawks WR Percy Harvin 'has a chance to play'

Although Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin is listed as probable for Week 11 on the injury report, head coach Pete Carroll's words left some hesitation as to whether Harvin will be on the field Sunday against the #Vikings. Carroll would only say Friday that Harvin quot;has a chance to play" after practicing all week.

#Seahawks WR Percy Harvin puts in full practice on Thursday

Here's something encouraging for those who have been waiting for Percy Harvin to play this season and are considering him as a WR3 this weekend: Harvin went through a full practice on Thursday. He is well on his way to making his season debut Sunday versus his former team, the #Vikings. He has been out for the entire season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn hip labrum during training camp.

#49ers TE Vernon Davis says he's 'feeling great' following Week 10 concussion

49ers tight end Vernon Davis doesn't know if the concussion he suffered in Week 10 will keep him out of Sunday's game at New Orleans, but so far, Davis is feeling pretty good, physically.
quot;I'm doing fine, feeling great and just taking it one day at a time," Davis said Tuesday. "I have to wait for doctors to let me know what I can do next. ... I didn't really have too many symptoms. My memory was good. My balance was OK."
Davis has yet to pass his neurological tests.

#Cardinals head coach reaffirms RB Rashard Mendenhall's starter status

Once again, Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians continues to tell the media running back Rashard Mendenhall is the team's No. 1 back and RB Andre Ellington is not. In describing Ellington's 13 touches, Arians said quot;I think it's right where it needs to be. He had plenty again today." When asked about Mendenhall's lead role, Arians said, "Oh yeah. There's no doubt."
