12 Lower-League Clubs with Big Stadiums in FM27

2026-10-25T12:13:58.273+01:00

Twelve lower-league clubs whose grounds make promotion feel like a return to the stage they were built for. A big-stadium save works when the empty seats tell you something. Hertha BSC have a 74,649-capacity Olympic venue in Germany's second tier. Palermo play in a 36,365-seat ground that carries the identity of an island capital. Leicester City begin 2026/27 in League One only a decade after

Free play dates, the biggest changes and the questions that matter before your next save. Your first hour with FM27 should answer a simple question: do you want to play another hour? If FM26 left you frustrated, the answer will probably depend on everyday things. Finding a player report. Changing your training plan. Watching a full-back defend a

FM27 Livestream: Better UI, But Is the Football Better?

2026-10-23T14:58:16.617+02:00

Brighton's three-match showcase, a clearer interface and the questions worth testing when free play begins. The FM27 First Look Livestream put a Brighton save at the centre of the discussion, with three matches and a mixed set of results. The encouraging response has been to the clearer menus and the information available around a match. The harder question is how much better the football

7 Best Teams for the FM27 Launch Preview

2026-10-22T14:06:06.661+02:00

Seven short saves that give you a useful first look at the new game Brighton is my first choice for an FM27 Launch Preview save if you want to explore recruitment and squad building. Choose Ajax to concentrate on training, Athletic Club to make recruitment decisions within a defined football identity, or Bromley for a simpler tactical starting point. Bayern, Celtic and

6 Scandinavian Clubs for Your Next FM27 Save

2026-10-21T14:29:32.603+02:00

Defend an unexpected title, rebuild after a record sale or turn a productive academy into a better first team. AGF would be my first Scandinavian FM27 save. Their 2026 championship and the disruption around a new stadium give the career two distinct jobs: protect a sporting breakthrough and guide the club through a changing home. Mjällby are the more unusual alternative,

8 Relegated Clubs to Rebuild in FM27

2026-10-21T14:29:26.402+02:00

Eight different recoveries, from West Ham's immediate return mission to life after Cazorla at Oviedo. West Ham are my pick for an FM27 promotion campaign with immediate pressure. Wolfsburg offer the more dramatic institutional reset, while Real Oviedo make the most interesting choice if you want the recovery to outlast its first promotion. All three have fallen out of the top flight, but

12 Financial Rebuilds to Take On in FM27

2026-10-20T14:50:51.803+02:00

From Sampdoria's losses to Wednesday's fresh start: 12 clubs where the recovery is part of the challenge. Sheffield Wednesday is the first club I would shortlist for an FM27 financial rebuild. The takeover has happened, the administration has ended and the football still needs rebuilding within agreed limits. Sampdoria offers a different problem: substantial owner support has kept

4 Belgian Clubs to Manage in FM27

2026-10-20T14:50:35.606+02:00

Four Belgian clubs, four different jobs: restore authority, rebuild consistency, chase a cup or make promotion stick. KV Mechelen’s 1988 win over Ajax is the result that draws me to this list. A cup can give a club a place in football history far beyond its normal league position, and trying to create another run is a different sort of FM27 career from restoring Anderlecht’s domestic

The small jobs you repeat every week could be where this reveal earns its value. FM27's latest feature roundup covers the 2D view, In-Game Editor, messages and competition updates. The most useful question is which changes will make an ordinary evening with your save easier. A good example is reviewing a disappointing result. 6 Young Wingers Worth Scouting Before FM27

2026-10-18T18:58:07.316+02:00

Six less obvious wide players, with a different reason to follow each Hugo Camberos would be my first stop if you want a winger whose senior role is already taking shape. Ryan Kavuma-McQueen offers a different attraction: a highly productive academy attacker now facing Championship football with Portsmouth. Adil Hamdani is the earlier bet, with Lyon's first team and France's youth sides

12 Non-League Clubs to Take to the Premier League

2026-10-16T15:19:59.374+02:00

From former EFL clubs in immediate-return mode to a first-time fifth-tier champion, these are the English non-league saves with enough story to last all the way to the Premier League. The best FM27 non-league save depends on how much history you want to carry. Carlisle United and Barrow offer the clearest immediate-return missions. Scunthorpe United gives you a recovery already in motion.

5 Young Full-Backs Worth Watching Before FM27

2026-10-15T21:35:57.001+02:00

Five less obvious defenders whose next step is worth following Jesús Fortea is the first player here I would investigate for an attacking right-back shortlist. His contribution to Real Madrid's Under-20 Intercontinental Cup win gives that recommendation something concrete to rest on. Elijah Dijkstra offers a different route, with years of progress through AZ and an established first-team

6 Clubs to Win Their First League Title in FM27

2026-10-15T15:24:18.172+02:00

Atalanta, Villarreal and four more clubs where becoming champions would add something genuinely new to the honours list Atalanta is my first choice for this challenge. There is already a major European trophy in the cabinet, a new coaching chapter under Maurizio Sarri and a returning Franck Kessié who knows what winning Serie A requires. A first Scudetto gives all of that a precise destination.

10 Clubs Chasing Their First Champions League in FM27

2026-10-14T13:49:44.410+02:00

Ten clubs, ten different routes to the one trophy their history is still missing. Arsenal is the strongest choice if you want to begin close to the prize. Atlético Madrid offers the most painful unfinished business, while Panathinaikos gives you a much longer journey back towards the final. Each would make a good FM27 career for a different reason. All ten clubs below are absent from UEFA’s

5 Young Goalkeepers Worth Following Before FM27

2026-10-13T22:46:23.484+02:00

Five keepers with a more interesting story than another familiar wonderkid shortlist Alessandro Nunziante would be my first name to follow if I wanted a young goalkeeper whose reputation is still catching up with his senior experience. Alexandre Pisano offers a different starting point: a twenty-year-old already playing for Nagoya Grampus and capped by Japan. For a longer development project,

6 Clubs for a Build-a-Nation Save in FM27

2026-10-13T16:36:50.380+02:00

Six different ways to make a small football nation harder to ignore Shamrock Rovers are my first choice for a conventional build-a-nation career: establish a reliable European campaign, then make progress beyond your own club part of the challenge. HJK offer the most interesting contrast between an established attacking team and fragile squad continuity. Vaduz are the specialist choice, because

12 Phoenix Clubs to Rebuild in FM27

2026-10-12T15:36:19.913+02:00

Twelve clubs born from collapse, relocation or supporter revolt, each offering an FM27 rebuild with a different meaning. Parma is the best phoenix-club save if you want immediate top-level football with a bankruptcy story still close enough to shape every decision. Bury is the strongest English restoration because the club is back at Gigg Lane and supporter-owned after its 2019 EFL expulsion.

6 Young Strikers Worth Following Before FM27

2026-10-11T16:40:00.000+02:00

Fresh attacking prospects, useful loan moves and the senior evidence behind each recommendation Gonzalo Petit and Jacob Ambæk are the first two strikers I would investigate from this list. Petit offers a full season of Spanish second-tier experience to examine; Ambæk has already earned a substantial role and a long-term commitment from Brøndby. Harry Gray's new loan provides a different kind of

6 Young Centre-Backs Worth Scouting Before FM27

2026-10-11T16:36:00.000+02:00

Six defenders with different routes towards the first team, from Rosario to north London Thiago Silvero and Ignacio Ovando are the first two names I would add to this watchlist. Both offer a chance to follow a young centre-back through meaningful senior football in Argentina, away from the familiar European shortlist. Jun’ai Byfield and Marli Salmon are earlier-stage alternatives, while Tylel
