It just came to my attention that I never posted the last episode of The FM Experiment to the Podcast Archive. It was such an amazing thing to prepare this program for you week in and week out, to work with promoters and artists across the region and around the world to grow our special city in the valley.

The last FM Experiment was very special. More than 30 people left messages on my info line to play during the show and the phone didn't stop ringing the entire time.

Update: Since moving to Portland at the end of 2011, I have been back to Fargo 3 times. Each visit renews my faith in the skills and ambitions of my friends. FM Pride has grown so much since my first year working with them and I hope they continue to bring me back. I currently have 2 trips to Fargo planned in 2014 (Mid-June and Early August). It's very possible that the ability to Travel through time will be achieved within our lifetimes. However, similar to how limited space travel is today there may only be a select few people who actually get a shot at it.

I'm releasing the second to last episode of The FM Experiment today. Though I'm sorry that it took as long as it did, I wanted to save some time to build the next incarnation of DJ Joyride here in Portland. I have had one job in radio since I moved 11 months ago. It was short-lived at KZME, but it re-affirmed that I'm going to love doing radio for many years to come.

I have been thinking lately about putting together a winter podcast series geared toward midwest listeners in North Dakota and Minnesota. What do you think of that idea? Let me know in a short message.

If you were a fan of the show, you might be excited to visit DJJoyride.com, the new website I'm working on. I am attempting to outline the various types of projects that I was a part of in Fargo. I miss all of the people that knew me for my passions and called on me for event emceeing, computer fixing, dj'ing, racquetball, or a day on the motorcycles.

Nearly all door proceeds go to beneficiary as well as all Sovereign Sect merchandise profits.

Lisa, at the age of only 26, was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, October of last year. She had surgery to remove her thyroid, but the cancer had also spread to the lymph nodes in her neck, and those were removed as well. She has had to have a couple treatments of radiation iodine therapy. Although not everything is clear after treatment, she is still remaining upbeat and positive through the whole ordeal!!! That's our Lisa! Lisa has always been a loyal, generous, trustworthy friend to many. She is always making people laugh and there is rarely a dull moment when you are in her presence. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her newest best friend “Cheeba”, her husky-German shorthair puppy dog which is an addition to her home with her boyfriend, Anthony. Lisa has been a hairstylist for eight years and everyone who knows Lisa knows she is passionate about what she does and life in general, and it shows! Let’s all get together and show her that kind of passion, lets give Lisa some love and support!

Hi friends and fans of the FM Experiment,

I've had a lot of listeners contact me at my email address asking why I haven't been posting new podcasts. Summertime is a little strange at KNDS 96.3FM. With all of the students gone and summer events running at a fever-pitch and all of this BEAUTIFUL weather, I have moved the post-it for putting out podcasts to the "I'm not doing it" pile. More shows are coming in the fall.

LESS THAN 1 WEEK AWAY FROM THE RETURN OF THE GRINDHOUSE TRAILERS FESTIVAL!

Time flies when you’re having fun. Time flies even faster when you’re busy putting the finishing touches on an event like GRINDFEST!

With less than a week until the next presentation, the proverbial “promotional train” is blazing down the tracks. Film critic Christopher Jacobs published his review of GRINDFEST 2 in this week’s issue of the High Plains Reader (click the link to read that article: http://hpr1.com/film/article/battle_of_the_filmfests). And starting tonight during the F-M Experiment (6p -8p), our sponsors - KNDS 96.3 FM - will be giving away a pair of DOUBLE FEATURE tickets. I've been to Fort Myers, Daytona, Duluth, Andover, and stuck in a blizzard, sleeping in my car since you last heard from me... Thankfully, I know that you were in good hands. While travelling, I got to see some of the best clubs in the Orlando area and get out to meet some old school DJ friends (Dyami Tsunami, Captain Kidd, and Neil Gaines). Art de Trois: a fine new years experience

A message from Amber Parsons (Director, Midwest Mud)

Hello,

I am the director of Midwest Mud, we recently became members of the FMVA. The reason I am contacting you is to inform you about an event that involves Midwest Mud, SeaGrave Studios, and Roberts Street Studio. Our creative efforts are uniting to throw a New Years Eve event called Art de Trois. The idea behind the event is to unit downtown art with downtown businesses. The slogan for the event is Fine Art, Fine Dining, Fine Experience. The event will be hosted at the newly opened Station House Cooperative as sort of a soft grand opening/ house warming event. This will be a black tie event, where ceramic artists from Midwest Mud and Roberts Street Studio will be creating the dinnerware and the Green Market Kitchen has been invited to do the catering (this is were we get the Fine Art crossed with Fine Dining). The Fine Experience comes from the dance that will be held in the Sea Graves Studio located at 916 Main Ave and hosted by Icebreaks Entertainment. We will be selling tickets at Green Market and Nicole's Fine Pastry for $45.00/person. This price includes the meal from Green Market and the dinner ware which they meal is served.

In conjunction with the studio are also looking for artist to donate art for an art benefit to help support the event and the studios. The works donated will be displayed two week prior to the event at Red Raven Espresso Parlour, also located in the Station House. Promotional media will be released for this event at the end of this week.
