I was wondering if Ikea contracts out the assembling part of the company ,like additional servicies offered for there customers. Meaning that I would like to know how to go by finding work in assembling devision for Ikea.

Hi there,
Love your site! I just recently moved to Ohio, halfway between Columbus and Cincinnati and love having the West Chester store here, 75 miles from me is not bad for an Ikea. I previously shopped at the store in Atlanta but the Ohio store is even better I think.

I’m currently in the middle of installing some Stolmen units in a couple of walk in closets, and am waiting for the call from the pick up center to tell me my Akurum kitchen cabinets are ready for picking up. Trying to decide on some living room furniture for the next big purchase.

I’ll keep checking back, thanks for the site!

My 75 year old grandmother has never set foot in an IKEA before. When I visited her over the summer she fell in love with my blue bags, so I gave her 2 of them. The bag is sturdy enough to hold items yet the cloth handles don’t cut into her hand or flare up her arthritis when she carries it.

Now she wants to go shopping with me . . . thank heavens IKEA also has wheelchairs because there is no way she could stand & walk with me for hours, bless her heart!

Those little blue hand carts (if you can find one) are also wonderful . . . it’s a hit at 20 bucks but very worth it. I plan on decorating mine with rhinestones!

I Love those big Ikea Bags! I use them in stead of laundry baskets. You can fit a large load in each and every bag!

I want one of the pink couches so bad! But I think that’s where hubby would draw the line. My Mom is a breast cancer survivor (4 years) snd it’s good to know that IKEA is working on the cause. Seize the Days deals should be more often . . . I’m glad they are going to do more. Let’s hope they keep them going through at least this spring/summer so I can get in on it too!
