Here’s everything you need to know about the event:

• Ticketed Event: This will be a ticketed/bracelet event, and attendees must purchase a copy of Goosebumps House of Shivers: Goblin Monday from Forbidden Planet NYC to participate. We will distribute bracelets to attendees as the line forms on Thursday. Pre-orders for pickup of books get you a space in line but not a specific place (first, third etc) on the line.
  

• Signing Limit: To ensure everyone gets a chance to meet R.L. Stine, there will be a limit of up to 3 items signed per attendee. Note that only new purchases of Mr. Stine’s books will be signed at the event and Forbidden Planet NYC will have a selection of his other works available. Please do not bring memorabilia from your collection to get signed.

• Photos with R.L. Stine: Yes, photos are allowed! However, please respect boundaries and only take photos from the front of the signing table. No going behind the table, hugging, etc. We’ll have a designated picture taker on hand to capture the moment if needed.
• Pre-Order Signed Copies By Mail: Can’t make it to the event? No worries! You can pre-order signed copies of the new book by mail and we’ll ship them to you anywhere in the U.S. Quantities are limited and we will turn this option off when our cap is met.

Join us at Forbidden Planet NYC on Sunday February 25th from 5 to 7PM for a not-so-secret-invasion! That’s right the Invader Comics creators Daniel Powell (Neurocron), Josh Ruben (Darla) and Kevin Miller (Recall, Unknown Caller) will all be here signing copies of their comics and meeting fans. These three are not just the minds behind some of Invaders wildest comics but they’re also known for their various work in film and television so come down and support these multi-hyphenated maniacs! 


Josh Ruben (Darla): Josh Ruben is a writer, director, and actor best known for his feature films Scare Me and Werewolves Within (official selections of the Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival, respectively). He’s also a staple on the crazy popular improv show Make Some Noise on Dropout TV.

More about Darla: The debut comic from director Josh Ruben follows the groundbreaking path he’s forged through the horror genre with his films Werewolves Within and Scare Me. Darla is a demented mash up of Dead Zone and Requiem for a Dream that explores the disturbing underbelly of Americana through politics, health, psychosis and murder.

Daniel Powell (Neurocron): Daniel Powell is an Emmy and Peadbody-winning television writer/producer and the co-founder of Irony Point whose production credits include “I Think You Should Leave”, “That Damn Michael Che”, “Scare Me”, and the animated cult hit “Ugly Americans.”
