GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position demands a highly motivated and talented Graphic Designer to be responsible for the creation, production and maintenance of the law school’s visual identity via print, Web and other media. The ideal candidate will excel at developing powerful and sophisticated design concepts to brand Thomas Jefferson School of Law as an innovative leader in legal education while assisting with the marketing, advertising, creative, Web and public relations functions of the Communications Office.

Additionally, the Graphic Designer will work closely with the Web Developer and IT Department on a variety of media projects. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to demonstrate and develop a wide variety of skills and abilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop dynamic and appealing designs and visual standards that reflect and shape the law school’s visual identity and communications and that support the law school’s strategic objectives and marketing plans
Create and produce comps and graphics for a redesign of the main Web site, student portal and a variety of templates that brand the law school’s visual identity
Design compelling print and multimedia pieces (to include magazines, catalogs, brochures, fact sheets, folders, advertisements, newsletters, posters, banners, invitations and e-invites, e-blasts, programs, presentations, signage and additional marketing materials as required)
Maintain graphic standards for all brand and marketing collateral and assure consistent quality and adherence to the law school’s objectives and style guidelines
Collaborate with Communications staff to support and assist in the production of marketing materials
Work closely with the law school’s internal clients on various projects and meet their various print and multimedia needs
Design presentation materials using PowerPoint, Flash and other appropriate technologies
Articulate the benefits of creative approaches to internal clients of the law school
Collaborate on art, photo and multi-media concepts with Communications & IT staff
Help coordinate photo shoots and take photos as needed
Maintain an in-house image library with a constant stream on new images (stock and original)
Other duties as assigned

iPhone App Prototype (Anywhere)

We are looking for somebody to build a prototype of an new app we want to roll out. This is a B2B app, and we need a prototype to present to prospective clients. We have wireframes about 75% completed.

The app should be fairly straight forward. It will be mostly views based, with a couple of simple toolbars and a nav bar. There will be a “full screen” view where there are no toolbars or nav bars on the screen. The toolbars will include some basic tools, such as a highlighter and a note taker. There will be some user data that needs to be captured and stored in the app.

Full specs can be provided to winning bidder. It is not a complex app at all. As this is a prototype app, it will not be submitted to the app store immediately, and it can be a little “rough” around the edges. As such, we expect a fairly short turn around time on the development, about 2 to 3 weeks tops. Also, since it is fairly simple, it should not be very costly to create the prototype.

Skills required will be iPhone SDK development, Cocoa touch, XSL style sheet preparation, XML parsing, objective C, C, and C++ (and anything else needed to complete the prototype).

All code will be submitted to us ready to compile and test on our devices. You can provide ad-hoc provisioning profile for our testing purposes. All work product is considered work for hire, therefore ownership of all source code will remain with project owner throughout the project. Project owner can request a copy of source code in its current form at any point throughout the project for review purposes. Final payment will be provided when working code is received. We ask that the winning bidder sign an NDA and non-compete agreement.

Your CSS/XHTML code should be valid on all major browsers and your layouts are tableless. You should know how to code images as backgrounds (such as for logos, etc.). You also know how to code bulleted navigation, bulleted list items, images through CSS background, and no br tags. Your XHTML pages should be easily readable (and clean) if the CSS sheet is disabled.

I do not have a high budget so I will choose someone who is affordable and can get things done quickly.

I have some basic knowledge about Adobe Spry but nothing deep.

I am looking to create a Horizontal Sliding Spry Tab Panel, I can build the Panel myself
but what I don’t know how to do is add the following configurations.

I need the Tab Panel to slide Horizontally very smoothly, with a timer/interval and the tab indicating which tab is active.

the tabs slide Horizontally instead of fading.

If a user click on a tab, the panels will stop and will start again according to the time set in the script. So lets say the user click on Tab 1, the panel will stop for X minute
and will start after X minute, this gives the user time to read the content of that panel.

The Editorial Assistant will assist in writing all recognition, testimonials and weight loss, and income stories for all offline and online content. Additionally, this position will assist with researching, collecting additional information from Distributors as well as internal doctors and executives to assist the copywriters meet their deadlines. Since materials are produced in multiple languages, must have an eye for catching inconsistencies when reviewing copy in other languages.

SUMMARY:

Work in tandem with Distributors to obtain their recognition, weight loss, income and testimonial stories to write short & long versions to utilized both offline and online.

Support English and Spanish copywriters in special projects by researching the necessary information as needed.

Work in tandem with internal Doctors and/or executives and interview for publications to drive progress in their assigned medical specialties.

Maintain a management system of all stories that come in to the department and ensure that we have the proper release forms on file.

Review, proofread and correct all materials and online documents for spelling, typographical errors and grammar in English, applying brand style guide

Copy edit creative, reviewing for consistency, accuracy and clarity.

Leading interactive agency is seeking a Senior level Flash Designer or AD with strong flash and conceptual skills.

Designer must be able to conceptualize interactive experiences, looking to maximize the experience for the user within the world of the brand, usually a major movie.

Must be able to work in the trenches yourself, and use flash proficiently when needed.

Must be able to work on multiple projects at once.

Must have samples or a portfolio of Flash designs. Cutting edge flash banner ads are a major plus.

Duties also include designing and creating various online projects including microsites, viral activities, flash games and social networking experiences.
