three new slamming acts to Moore's Lounge
for JC Fridays!

Karen and Joe

Karen Davis and Joe Pla have been living and playing rock and blues, originals and covers, around JC and the New York/New Jersey area for years, and they are truly outstanding musicians and songwriters...we're thrilled to have these old friends on the bill!

These talented young jazz musicians have been a steady part of the Friday Live Jazz Jam (and Fish Fry) at Moore's over the past few months and we're thrilled to have them strut their stuff!

Kath Buckell

Buckell just won the Rock/Alt category in the Mid Atlantic Song Contest for 'Orphaned By The Color Of My Skin' and she's bringing her band to Moore's Lounge to complete this amazing line-up. Buckell's our NYC guest this time around, but she's about to earn her JC cred!

And since it's Friday night, and Miss Ruth is in the kitchen turning out her delicious Fish Fry, so bring your appetite! (Dinner extra.)

Out of JC Heights, these guys played Fabulous Uptown Music's JC ORIGINALS Jazz showcase at Moore's last September and tore up the house! It was an instant great fit, and we're excited to have them back.

The JC Originals train is moving ahead FULL STEAM, this time with three all-new bands!

Fabulous Uptown Music presents
Another off-the-charts showcase with three ALL NEW BANDS!

* Anna and Marc bring searing jazz interpretations of songs, traditional and non. They've graced Moore's stage before at Uptown Crew's Open Mic.
* Out-of-town guests TIMBILA-this ecstatic percussion based world inspired collective is transcendental.
* Jersey City's Charlie AfroSheen is gonna funk you up yo.

Come out to Moore's Lounge 189 Monticello Avenue, between Jewett and Gardner. Take the Montgomery West Side bus from downtown to Jordan Avenue and walk 5 blocks south, or take the #87 bus from Hoboken, the Heights or Journal Square right to the door, at the corner of Jewett Ave.

And Friday night means MISS RUTH's FAMOUS FISH FRY!
Delicious dinner and live music at the bar. Come on out/UP!

BANTU DUB JAZZ PROJECT is back!

After laying down the law at Moore's during the JC Originals Jazz showcase in June, Duke Bantu is bringing out his full quintet to take you to new heights of sublime.
