امراض النحل وتشخيصه وبعض الادويه العلاجيه

يعتبر مرض تكيس الحضنة هو أشهر وأهم مرض فيروسى يصيب نحل العسل, ومن السهل تشخيص هذا المرض حيث أن:

1- الرأس فى اليرقة المصابة تكون داكنة اللون.

2- ترقد اليرقة المصابة مسطحة على ظهرها وممتدة فى العين السداسية حيث تكون رأسها مرفوعة قليلاً لأعلى كما هو واضح فى هذه الصورة:

3- فى العادة لا يغطى النحل العيون السداسية التى تحتوى يرقات مصابة أو ميتة.

4- اليرقة التى ماتت من تأثير الإصابة بفيروس تكيس الحضنة تأخذ أولاً اللون الأبيض الباهت ثم تتحول إلى اللون الأصفر ثم فى النهاية يتحول لونها إلى اللون البنى والذى يتحول إلى اللون البنى الغامق تدريجياً مع الوقت, حيث يبدأ ظهور اللون البنى بمنطقتي الرأس والصدر ويعتبر ذلك من أهم الأعراض المميزة للمرض.

5- يسهل إزالة اليرقة الميتة من العين السداسية وذلك بواسطة ملقط وفى هذه الحالة فإنها تتعلق بالملقط مثل الكيس كما هو واضح فى هذه الصورة:

اليرقة المصابة بمرض تكيس الحضنة يمكن إزالتها بسهولة من العين السداسية، بعكس الحال فى حالة الإصابة بمرض تعفن الحضنة الأمريكى, واليرقة تكون على هيئة كيس ملئ بملايين من جراثيم المرض، والوسيلة الوحيدة لمكافحة المرض هو تقوية الطوائف المريضة وتغيير الملكات

6- الكيس عبارة عن جلد اليرقة الذى لم ينسلخ حيث يكون ممتلئ بسائل مائى والذى ينساب من الكيس بسهولة عند قطعه أو تمزيقه.

7- إذا لم يزل النحل اليرقة الميتة فإنها قد تجف وتنكمش وتتحول إلى قشرة بنية أو سوداء فى قاع العين السداسية والتى تتشابه مع بعض اليرقات الميتة ببعض الأمراض الأخرى مثل مرض الحضنة الأوربي أو مرض الحضنة الأمريكى.

8- القشرة تكون غير ملتصقة بالكامل فى قاع العين السداسية كما يحدث فى مرض الحضنة الأمريكى حيث تكون ملتصقة بالكامل.

9- لا توجد رائحة مميزة لليرقات التى ماتت من تأثير مرض تكيس الحضنة عكس ما هو موجود فى الأمراض البكتيرية.

10- وجود عيون سداسية غير كاملة التغطية متفرقة يين الحضنة المغطاة أو وجود حضنة مغلقة لم تخرج من العيون السداسية بعد خروج ما حولها من الحضنة.

11- فشل اليرقات المصابة وكذلك طور ما قبل العذراء المصاب فى الوصول إلى طور العذراء.

ويعتقد أن الفيروس يصيب اليرقات الصغيرة والتى فى عمر 48 ساعة والتى تعتبر أكثر حساسية للإصابة بهذا الفيروس.

وفى بعض الأحيان فإن النحل يقوم بتغطية اليرقات المصابة والتى تموت مباشرة بعد تغطية العيون السداسية, ويتكاثر الفيروس داخل أنسجة اليرقة مسبباً تحللها حيث لا تتمكن اليرقة فى هذه الحالة من إنجاز عملية الانسلاخ وتظل طبقة الإندوكيوتيكل كما هى بدون تحلل وذلك نتيجة تلف الغدد الابيدرمية المنتجة لإنزيم الكيتينيز حيث تموت اليرقة بعد ذلك.

وفى الطبيعة فإن شغالات نحل العسل عادة ما تكتشف اليرقات المصابة وتقوم بإزالتها بسرعة لذلك فإنه عند ظهور الأعراض التى يلاحظها النحال فإنه يكون قد استفحل المرض وتمكن من الطائفة, حيث تبدأ الإصابة أواخر الشتاء وفى فصل الربيع وبداية الصيف, وقد لوحظ فى المناحل المصابة أن شدة الإصابة تختلف من صفر إلى 100% من الطوائف, وبالنسبة للبراويز المصابة تختلف شدة الإصابة من عدد قليل من العيون السداسية للحضنة إلى 95% منها.

وقد وجد أن فيروس تكيس الحضنة يمكنه أن يعيش حتى 200 يوم فى خبز النحل, وحالياً فإن مرض تكيس الحضنة قد تم فهمه ودراسته بالكامل.

والتساؤل هو كيف يختفى المرض فى فصل الصيف وذلك بالرغم من إضافة براويز تحتوى على يرقات جافة قادرة على الأعداء بالمرض وذلك إلى الطائفة السليمة بالرغم من أن هذه البراويز بها إصابة تقدر 54%, ولتوضيح ذلك وجد أن قشور اليرقات الجافة المحتوية على الفيروس تفقد قدرتها على العدوى بعد 3 أسابيع على درجة 18oم.

والتساؤل الثانى هو كيف ينتشر المرض فى المناطق المعتدلة؟

ولتوضيح ذلك فإن Bailey سنة 1970 بين أن الفيروس يمكنه التراكم فى رأس الحشرة الكاملة وخاصة فى الغدد تحت البلعومية كما تم عزله أيضاً من مخ الذكر, يتضح من ذلك أن الحشرة الكاملة لنحل العسل تعمل كمخزن لفيروس تكيس الحضنة, ويعتقد أنه يتم عن طريقها نقل الفيروس, وقد يشاهد مرض تكيس الحضنة فى الصيف وذلك بعد أن تكون الطوائف قد عانت من فقد فى الحشرات الكاملة كما يحدث فى حالة مرضها بالمبيدات.

طريقة العلاج

المكافحة والعلاج:

التوصيات التالية يمكن بواسطتها السيطرة على المرض والحد من خطورته:

1- تقوية الطوائف الضعيفة بإضافة نحل إليها.

2- تغيير الملكة فى الطوائف المصابة.

3- تحسين الظروف البيئية فى منطقة المنحل.

4- وضع الخلايا على حوامل لمنع دخول النحل الزاحف إليها والذى قد يكون مصاب.

الشلل

ومنها:

1- مرض فيروس الشلل المزمن Chronic Bee Paralysis Virus (CBPV)

2- مرض فيروس الشلل الحاد Acute Bee Paralysis Virus (ABPV)

يعتبر مرض الشلل ثانى مرض معروف جيداً فى نحل العسل.

حيث كتب عنه النحالون منذ أكثر من 100 عام, ونادراً ما يوجد فى المناحل ولكنه قد يؤدى إلى موت عدد قليل من الطوائف, ويختفى بالسرعة التى يظهر بها, والنحلة التى تعانى من الشلل غالباً ما تفقد شعر جسمها ويصبح جسمها منتفخ ولامع وأسود, وأحيانا يعرف هذا المرض باسم مرض الصلع أو مرض الأعراض المتزامنة فى ظهورها والتى تؤدى إلى اسوداد النحل.

وأول من وضع ملاحظاته عن هذا المرض هو Huber سنة 1814 وفى سنة 1963 تمكن Bailey وزملاءه من التعرف على نوعين من الفيروسات تسبب شلل لنحل العسل وهما الـ ABPV والـ CBPV, ولقد بدأ فهم وإدراك مرض الــ CBPV بواسطة الدراسات التى أجراها Burside سنة 1933 و سنة 1945 حيث لاحظ أن وجود نحل أصلع يعتبر مرض غير ثابت, كما أن النحل المصاب بشدة قد يموت أحياناً قبل أن يفقد شعره كما يتناقص السلوك الهجومى للنحل السليم تجاه النحل المريض فى درجات الحرارة الباردة, كذلك حدوث شلل فى رجل أو أكثر من أرجل النحلة, كما يلاحظ أيضاً تأثير درجة الحرارة على النحل المصاب, فالنحل الذى تم تحضينه على 35 درجة مئوية أظهر أعراض ملحوظة قبل حدوث الموت وذلك عن النحل الذى تم تحضينه على درجات حرارة منخفضة.

كما لوحظ أن النحل المصاب بالشلل المزمن CBPV يموت أسرع على درجة 35 درجة مئوية فى حين أن النحل المصاب بالشلل الحاد ABPV يموت أسرع على درجة 30 درجة مئوية, ويعتقد أن معظم حالات النحل الزاحف فى الطوائف تكون مرتبطة بالشلل المزمن CBPV, حيث أن Butler سنة 1943 قد ذكر 12 حالة مرضية تتصف بالشلل والزحف وعدم مقدرة النحل على الطيران بما فيها الإصابة بمرض النيوزيما ومرض الأكارين.

أما مرض الشلل الحاد ABPV فإنه وجد أن الشغالات المصابة به تموت بسرعة على درجة 30 درجة مئوية, وتتراكم وحدات ABPV فى الغدد تحت البلعومية فى رأس الحشرة الكاملة كما أنه لا يؤثر على هذه الغدد, ويظهر المرض أثناء موسم النشاط حيث تساعد درجة الحرارة العالية على ظهوره, وقد تم تسجيل مرض الشلل الحاد فى الاتحاد السوفيتى وألمانيا ووجد أنه مرتبط بالإصابة بحلم الفاروا حيث يحتمل أن حلم الفاروا نفسه قد يحمل هذا الفيروس.

شغالة نحل العسل المصابة بفيروس الشلل تكون فى حالة ارتجاف وارتعاش مستمرين, كما تفقد النحل شعرها فتظهر بلون أسود قاتم مما يوحى للنحال بأنها نحل غريب عن الخلية (نحل سارق)، ويمكن علاج المرض بتغيير الملكة بسلالة قوية، وإضافة نحل صغير السن من خلية سليمة.

أعراض الإصابة بأمراض الشلل:

1- حدوث شلل سريع وحاد للنحل.

2- تصاب الحشرة بارتجافات فى جسمها وأجنحتها.

3- تشاهد الشغالات زاحفة على الأرض غير قادرة على الطيران أو قد تزحف على أفرع الأشجار.

4- تضخم البطن وامتلاء معدة العسل بالسوائل.

5- قد تصاب الحشرة بما يشبه الإسهال.

6- موت الحشرات الكاملة.

7- تتدهور حالة الطائفة خلال عدة أيام ويبقى عدد قليل من الشغالات مع الملكة.

8- تساعد الإصابة بمرض الفاروا على ظهور وتنشيط فيروس الشلل.

9- فقد الحشرات لشعيرات جسمها.

10- تتحول الحشرات التى فقدت شعيرات جسمها إلى اللون الأسود اللامع.

طريقة العلاج

انواع امراض النحل فى اليمن
أمراض النحل:
النحل يتعرض لسبعة أمراض يشترك في حدوثها شيئان, يمكن ان يتسببا في تخريب وابادة جودة العسل وكميته, لذلك حين يصاب النحل بهذه الامراض تصبح فعاليته ناقصة وضعيفة وحتى حركتها وعملها اشهر مرضين واكثرها شيوعاً للنحل في اليمن الاول يسمى الفرو او قراد النحل يمتص دم النحل ويقتل الجيل القادم من النحل من خلال التعرض للبويضة الواحدة للملكة بخمس بويضات قراد اللائي يفقسن بعد ثلاثة ايام ويبدأن يتطفلن على النحلة وهي لازالت يرقة ويمصصن دمها فينشأ نحل ضعيف غير قادر حتى على الطيران وبلا ريش او جناح وهذا المرض يأتي في المناطق الباردة كثيراً والمرض الثاني هو: الإسهال البكتيري الآتي من بكتيريا تصيب النحل بالإسهال, يقضي ايضاً على جودة وكمية العسل وكذلك على عدد النحل واكبر مصدر للإصابة عن طريق الماء يمكن ان يعمل وباء بالخلية ويصبح حاداً ويسبب خسائر كبيرة للنحالين ولعلاج المرض على النحال تشخيص المرض مبكراً قبل ان يصبح وباء, الشيء الثاني يصحو مبكراً الى المناحل وعلى بعد 200 متر من المرعى وملاحظة النحل الذي يحبو على الأرض ويمسك النحلة من المنتصف ويضغطها ضغطة بسيطة فإذا خرج منها سائل اصفر برائحة كريهة يعالجه ببودرة هي عبارة عن مضاد حيوي على 100 جرام ولابد للنحال ان يعمل محلولاً سكرياً بنسبة 2:1 كل كيلو عسل يعمل له 2 لتر ماء وكل لتر من المحلول السكري يعمل له 2 جرام من البودرة واللتر الواحد يعالج اربعة عيدان, ومن الضرورة يكون القياس للعلاج بالميزان ويتم تقديمه للنحل على مدى خمسة أيام متتالية وبعد شهر جرعة مخففة لكل لتر جرام من البودرة كوقاية إضافة الى ضرورة تعقيم الماء للنحل.. وهناك مرض آخر اسمه نوزيما ولكنه غير معروف باليمن وتصلب الحضنة الطباشيرية فوق الغشاء الرقيق للملكة تنمو فطريات فيتصلب بشكل طباشير مسحوقة فتموت النحلة بداخله لأنها لا تستطيع الخروج كما لا يستطيع النحل ان يفتح لها من الخارج, وأمراض تعفن الحضنة الأوروبي والأمريكي والاكارس.

عقب لدغ النحل للإنسان الذي يتسبب بإفراز مادة تسمى انثيرونات وهي كيماوية تعتبر علامة للنحل بأن الانسان عدو لذلك اذا تعرض الانسان للدغة امام المناحل فعليه ان يترك المكان لأن المادة المفرزة جراء اللدغة تفرز رائحة معينة تستدعي كل النحل الآخر لتكرار لدغ نفس الانسان فقط دون غيره, وان كان بجواره آخرون كون المادة هي مستفزة للنحل وقد حضروا هذه المادة بالمعمل من خلال طبق مغطى بغشاء بلاستيك يتم ربطه ثم تُسكب عليه ثلاثة قطرات من المادة المستفزة للنحل الذي يقفر للدغ الغشاء البلاستيكي الرقيق بحيث يخترقه شوك النحل فيسقط سم النحل الى الطبق ويتم الجمع من 5 الى 6 ملجرام منه ويخلط 5% بالوزن مع العسل وذلك يعني ان تحضير كيلو عسل يتطلب 50 جراماً سم نحل و950 جراماً عسل ومن المنتجات العسل العكبر, وهذا المنتج معظم النحالين في اليمن لا يعرفونه ويجمعه النحل من براعم الاوراق والقمم النامية الطرية وزهور النباتات التي تملك مناعة داخلية وخارجية, ويتعرض لاصابات بكتيرية وفيروسية وفطرية وحتى لا تتعرض لمثل هذه الإصابات يقوم النبات بإفراز طبقة مادة متلاحقة تعرف ببعض القرى اليمنية بالعسال.
يقوم النحل بأكل هذه المادة ويعمل لها معالجة أنزيمية فيخرج مادة متلاحقة هي العكبر الذي يستخدمه النحل لطلاء بطانة العود من الداخل لتوفير الحرارة والبرودة معاً, وتعبئة الفتحات وسدها لتفادي هجمات الاعداء ومادة معقمة للشمع والعسل لاحتوائه على مواد قاتلة للبكتيريا والفيروسات والفطريات ولنضوج بيض الملكات, كما يستخدم النحل مادة العكبر لتحنيط أي حشرة أو فأر أو غيرها تسللك للخلية ولم تستطع النحل إخراجها تقوم بتحنيطها لكي لا تتعفن داخل الخلية بحيث تظل كذلك مدة خمسة آلاف عام.. والعكبر أنواع خام وغيره ويستخدم لعلاج عشرين مرضاً منها قرحة المعدة والإثني عشر والبواسير والقولون وفيروس BUS ويعالج ايضاً الضعف الجنسي ويزيد خصوبة النساء والرجال, وعلاج الحروق وجروح مرض السكر وبه مواد مضادة للأكسدة ويؤخر شيخوخة الانسان ويقوي البدن ويستخدم مع الزيوت التي تؤكل مثل السمسم وزيت الزيتون كما يتم عمل دهانات الشعر والجسم للانسان من منتج العكبر.

منتجات النحل:
ينتج النحل ستة انواع من المنتجات, ولكن قبل التطرق الى هذه الانواع نعرج قليلاً الى النبات والازهار ودورها في الحفاظ على النوع فالأزهار حين تثمر تفرز حبيبات اللقاح الصفراء التي لا ترى بالعين المجردة من الذكر للانثى ودائماً تحمل الازهار بثلاث مذكرة واخرى مؤنثة وفي هذه الاشجار بعد عشرة ايام الذكور يتحولون الى اناث, يعني يحدث نضج للثلاث المذكرة قبل المؤنثة والعكس, ولكي يضمن الزهر التلقيح يقوم بإفراز رحيق حلو المذاق لإغراء الحشرات على ابتلاعه وبالتالي انتقال التلقيح بشكل طبيعي وسليم ومن ضمن الحشرات النحل واكثر الاشجار امتلاكاً للرحيق العلب بنسبة 95% والخمسة المتبقية حبوب لقاح والنحلة عندما تذهب للزهور فإنها تذهب لثلاثة أهداف الأول هو جمع الرحيق بتسربه الى قناة انتاج العسل وحين يعود النحل الى الخلية يقوم بإفراغ ما سُرب من رحيق الى الشبك من خلال التقيؤ وليس التبرز كما يعتقد كثير من الناس ويحصل له انزيمات تحليلية سريعة للعسل.. وكل النحل يقوم بجمع الرحيق من الازهار طوال اليوم وافراغه الى الشبك, وكلما شربت الرحيق تحصل في معدتها معالجة فيزيائية ويتحول الى عسل بعد ان تقوم النحل بكثير من العمل طوال الليل والنهار ثم تخزنه في الثقوب العلوية وتقفل عليه ليصبح بذلك عسلاً مختوماً كما يطلقون عليه.. علماً بأن النحل لا ينام لأنه بلا جفن وانما يهدأ قليلاً, كذلك حين تقوم النحل بعمل عسل مختوم تقوم بتخفيض نسبة الماء الى 10% حتى يكون خالياً من البكتيريا, لتخزنه عدة سنوات على اساس انه مخزون احتياطي تعود اليه اذا لم تجد المراعي, اما اذا توفرت المراعي فلا تعود للمخزون والهدف الثاني الذي تذهب النحل لأجله للزهور هو جمع حبوب اللقاح عبر شعر الأرجل الأمامية اذا كانت الزهرة بها نسبة كبيرة من حبوب اللقاح حين تعود النحل الى الخلية تقوم بخلط هذه الحبوب مع العسل ويسمى عندئذ خبز النحل ويستخدم بعد ذلك للتكاثر وتغذية اليرقات وتنشيط الغدد ويدعم الغذاء الملكي وهو سائل شفاف وحساس ودواء فعال إذا تم حفظه في درجات حرارة معينة, مع العلم بأن هذا العلاج المسمى الغذاء الملكي للنحل يباع بسعر ألفي ريال للملي لتر الواحد وهو يزيد من القوة الجنسية عند الرجال والنساء واقوى من العلاج المعروف بالفياجرا لأن الاول ينشط الحيوانات المنوية ويحسن الخصوبة ويعالج الضمور والضعف الجنسي بانواعه وفي النحل تستخدمه الملكة لزيادة خصوبتها لأن الفياجرا تعمل انتصاباً فقط مع المحافظة على نفس القوة الجنسية, أما الغذاء الملكي وحبوب اللقاح وسد العلب ينشط العملية الجنسية والحيوانات المنوية وهو من مركبات عديدة.
ولكي يتكاثر النحل لابد من خبز النحل لتنشيط المشفى, لأن في انتاج الغذاء الملكي لزيادة خصوبة الملكة في انتاج البيض, اما الشمع فتنتجه النحل, فالغدد الموجودة في قناة انتاج العسل تحيل العسل الى شمع عقب شرب الشغالات للعسل وتكونه على شكل خصوص في المعدة يتم جمعها, ولكي يتم انتاج كيلو من الشمع يتم استهلاك النحل لعشرين كيلو من العسل واثناء انتاج الشمع يظهر على النحل, وكأنها تقوم بأعمال شاقة اشبه بالولادة عند النساء, وهذا الشمع أجود ما يمكن استخدامه في مستحضرات التجميل للقضاء على النمش وحب الشباب ويعطي نضارة للوجه.. كما ان سم النحل من ضمن تفاعلات منتجات النحل ويفرز أحماضاً وبالتالي حين تلدغ النحلة الانسان تعمل له تفاعلات مناعية حساسية ولكونها مركباً حمضياً يجب ان يضع الانسان مكان اللدغة مركباً قلوياً مثل الفومة, الذي تدعك بفصه الجرح فلا يتورم جسم الانسان الذي تعرض للدغة وسم النحل يستخدم لعلاج الروماتيزم وبطريقة الوخز بالابر الصينية بمراكز متخصصة في الاعصاب واشبه بالحجامة حيث يقومون باستخدام النحل للدغ المرض في اماكن معينة من الجسم وبهذه الطريقة تتم معالجة حالات مرضية مستعصية عديدة عجز الطب عن معالجتها, ولكنها حسب اعتقادي في اليمن غير موجودة.

النحل وتربيته وانتاج العسل فى اليمن
وتتكون خليه النحل من ثلاثه انواع الملكه , الشغاله , الذكور
وسوف نتطرق لـشرح كل نوع ووظيفته وعمله
1- الملكة وبعض المناطق اليمنية تطلق عليه أبو النحل، يتبع الملكة والشغالات والذكور الذين يسمونه يعسوب والملكات يطلق عليهن يعسوب والملكة هي من أكبر النحل طولها حوالي 3.5 سم والنحل بشكل عام مكون من ثلاثة أجزاء رئيسة, الرأس والقفص الصدري والبطن.. الرأس فيه نوعان للعيون.. عيون عادية وعيون زوجية تأتي في قاعة الرأس وعينان يطلق عليهما مركبة تحتوي على عدسات مركبة تمكن النحلة من القيام بمهامها والرأس يشمل نمصاً وفكاً جانبياً وقرون الاستشعار أما القفص الصدري فيشمل الريش والجناح لتطير بشكل عمودي تحت الجناح عضلة عاصرة تطير بها النحلة عمودياً لمسافات ومنطقة زمام النحل تمتد الى 5 كم دائرياً حول المنحل واحياناً 10 كم بحثاً عن الطعام والنحلة حشرة بها جهازان عصبي وهضمي وقلب ودمها من النوع غير الحار حسب تقسيم الفقاريات من دم حار ودم بارد، والحرارة تتوزع بالنحل عبر الانتشار وجهاز النحل الهضمي عبارة عن نمص وفم ولسان وبلعوم يمتد الى المعدة.. والمعدة مكونة من معدتين واحدة لإنتاج العسل والأخرى لكبح الجهاز الهضمي.. والنحل يعمل معالجة أنزيمية للرحيق وتحوله إلى عسل ولدى النحلة مجموعة من الغدد تشمل أنزيم.. الملكة حاكم الخلية ومهمتها وضع البيض والحفاظ علي النسل وتملك جهازاً تناسلياً ناضجاً قادراً على طرح البويضات وتفرز أربع روائح عبر غدد جانبية الأولى تميز العود والخلية والثانية التفاهم الخاص مع بعض النحل مثل النحل الاستطلاعي والكاشف الإحصائي والرائحة الثالثة جنسية حينما يتم تلقيحها من قبل الذكور والرابعة رائحة الرحيل عن الخلية الذي يحدث في حالتين.. الأولى بعد البيض وولادة ملكة جديدة حيث تغادر الأم إلى مكان محدد من قبل النحل الاستطلاعي لتكوين مملكة جديدة وتغادر الملكة الأم في حالة أخرى إذا لم يرق لها الجو العام بالمنطقة مثل قلة المرعى فتهاجر وتترك العود فارغاً وقبل المغادرة تفرز الرائحة الرابعة لبقية النحل كإشارة سفر.
عمر الملكة.. شوكة مدعومة
عمر الملكة يمتد بين أربع وخمس سنوات وست سنوات وتحتوي على شوكة للدغ لعدة مرات ولا تموت كبقية النحل التي تلدغ لمرة واحدة ثم تموت, ذلك لأن شوكة الملكة مدعومة بعضلات لا تمتلئ إلا إذا ألهمها الله وقد سجلت حالة واحدة في العالم فيها الملكة لدغت نحالاً.. علماً بأن سم الملكة مفعوله عشرة أضعاف النحلة العادية وهي تؤدب به بقية النحل المتمرد.. النوع الثاني في الجبح الواحد الشغالات وبه ملكة واحدة فقط.. الشغالات يأكلن أكثر من الأفراد داخل الخلية وقد يمتد عدد الشغالات داخل الجبح الواحد الى 50 ألف شغالة.

والملكة والشغالة الأصل واحدة بويضة مخصبة والتحكم بكمية الغذاء الملكي بحجم الثقب السداسي يحدد هذه البويضة المخصبة ملكة أم شغالة.. الشغالات كل شغلهن فوق شغالات جهازهن متحوصل وقناة إنتاج العسل عندهن متطورة وهي المعدة بحجم صغير يقدر بثلث حجم الملكات والشغالات, ولهن عدة وظائف داخل الجبح وخارجه، بداخل الجبح شغالات وصيفات.. وشغالات معلومات يبلغن الملكة عن توفر الغذاء وحبوب اللقاح, كم تبيض؟ ومتى تبيض؟ لولادة شغالات جديدة بدلاً عن الشغالات الموتى أو لتكوين مملكة جديدة, وكيف الوضع العام داخل العود والحضانة وكم أعمار الشغالات بالخلية.. وهناك الى جانب هذه الأنواع نحل مراقب أشبه بالشرطة داخل العود مهمته حفظ النظام العام داخل الخلية ويمنع بيض أي شغالة حتى لا تلد ذكوراً مشوهين لأن وضع البيض من مهام الملكة والنحل المراقب إذا اكتشف شغالة تبيض عبر الثقب السداسي يعاقبها بالإعدام لتكون عبرة لغيرها وبوحشية, وهناك ايضاً نحل حاضنات للاهتمام بالحضانة واليرقات ونحل للنظافة ونحل للحراسة كل هذا داخل العود أما وظائف الشغالات خارج العود أو الخلية وهي جمع الرحيق من الأزهار وحبوب اللقاح والعقبر أو صمغ النحل والنحل الاستطلاعي هو الذي يزود الخلية بالأسرار مثل الاستخبارات العسكرية بحيث تتمكن الملكة من الخروج للتلقيح في جو مناسب ليس فيه مهاجمون مثل الدبور.. أما النحل الكاشف فمهمته تمشيط المناطق وهو نحل قوي قادر على تعبئة الغذاء في مناطق بمسافات طويلة.. وهو يتوزع على شكل سرايا في مناطق الخلية الأربعة ويقوم بالتمشيط ثم يعود للخلية فتتجمع حوله الشغالات على حلقات ثم تبدأ تحديد اتجاه المرعى بشكل راقص والمسافة بالتعامل مع ضوء الشمس فتدور دورة كاملة مع هزة وفي حلقة النحل حولها تقوم أثناء الهزة بإطعام النحل في الحلقة من منتج المرعى لتقول لهن بذلك هذا هو الاتجاه وهذا هو طعم المنتج وكل نحلة كاشفة تعطي معلومات عن مرعى معين بنفس الطريقة بعد ذلك تقوم بقية النحل بإخضاع كل المعلومات للتصويت لاختيار المكان المناسب للرحيق ثم تعطي التوجيهات لكل النحل بالاتجاه للمرعى الفائز بالتصويت وبلغة الروائح والرقص.. الروائح تأخذ بها الملكة والرقص تتعامل به بقية النحل, فالرقص أنواع عندهم.

أما ما يتعلق بالنحل الذكور فالبيض عندهم غير مخصب كما هو عند الملكات والشغالات وعدد الصبغات الكروموزمات لدى كل واحد منهم 16 كرومزوم والذكر لا أب له وإنما يحمل الصفات الوراثية للأم والذكر لا يلدغ لأن شوكته تحولت إلى قضيب وجهازه التناسلي متطور ليعمل بشكل مذكر اختصار لقناة إنتاج العسل وبالتالي فالنحل الذكور لا ينتجون العسل ومهمتهم الوحيدة تلقيح الملكات ثم يحكم عليهم جميعاً بالإعدام.. وتتم عملية تلقيح الملكة عقب خروجها من الخلية بمعلومات النحل الاستطلاعي حيث يتجمع حولها آلاف من النحل الذكور الذين ترتفع عليهم الملكة عالياً مسافات طويلة بشكل ماراثوني لكي يخصبها الذكر القوي القادر على الارتفاع معها واللحاق بها لأن الملكة لا تريد تلقيح من الذكر الضعيف لذلك لا يستطيع الذكور الضعفاء مواصلة اللحاق بالملكة فيعودون بحيث لا يبقى معها سوى الذكر القوي الذي يقوم بتلقيحها ثم يلقى حتفه على يدها وأثناء عودتها الى الخلية يكون النحل من الذكور الضعفاء في انتظارها وكلما اقترب منها أحدهم هجمت عليه شغالة فلدغته فماتا معاً وهكذا يتم إعدام كل الذكور بالآلاف.
