Another Ford Mondeo? I can’t remember the last time I have driven the same car with three different engines outputs within such a short period of time. First it was the ‘original’ one with the 159bhp 2.3 litre Duratec motor in 2009; then last year it was the facelifted car that first received the 2.0 litre Ecoboost engine (good for 200bhp) and now this – still the same 2.0 Ecoboost lump but poked around to now dish out 238bhp at 6000rpm. I remember thinking that the Duratec-equipped car not quite having enough power, something which the first Ecoboost corrected. But such is power, you can never have enough.
It clearly feels like the Mondeo have found its true heart. Changes to the exterior, meanwhile, is minimal and subtly improves on how this sedan looks. I’m still not the biggest fan regarding this, the rear portion of the car still looks awkward. Interestingly, every car makers seems to have their own interpretation on how to create a dynamic and motion-hinting shape; Ford’s Kinetic Design is less aggressive, giving a more sensible approach to it unlike Hyundai’s Fluidic Structure.

As usual the Mondeo gives one of the most accomplished suspension set-up available; where it soaks up all road imperfections unlike any other car at this price. With the characteristic Ford steering feel (although a bit too sterile), it does make for one immensely enjoyable drive. I don’t particularly like the dashboard as it looks too simple with not enough thought put into making going through the menu easier yet the spaciousness makes it perfect for a growing family.
Ford seems to be on a high in Malaysia, although a majority of the contribution comes from the Fiesta and, more recently, the Ranger. But the Mondeo is doing well – you can’t keep a good thing down for long.

Bananas, besides being healthy for you, are pretty versatile. We've seen you can use banana peels to remove splinters , polish your shoes , and clean scratched CDs and DVDs . Add to that list removing tarnish from silver.

Basically you just have to blend some banana peels with water and then use that paste as you would any other polish (rub on with a soft cloth, wash off and dry with a soft cloth). Voila! Shiny silver.

I’ve read before that bananas can polish silver, but I’d never actually tried it. That is, until this weekend, when my parents were cleaning out their basement and my mom stumbled across a creamer she thought I might like…

While the little creamer still had some shine, there was a bit of tarnish around the handle and the top. I knew the banana polish would be best for mildly tarnished pieces and this might be too much, but I still wanted to try it out. Plus, I have a banana-obsessed toddler around, and hence, many banana peels.

First, blend a few banana peels with some water to make a paste.

Then, rub the banana polish on the silver with a soft cloth. Finally wash off polish and dry with a clean cloth.

Shinier silver!

As I said, this trick really is best for mildly tarnished items. I may still have to stick the creamer in a bath of water, salt, baking soda, and aluminum foil like my mom has always done. Still, the banana polish did get off surprising amount of tarnish and this is a trick I'll likely try again.

When You Can’t Hide Your Cables, Embrace Them for Better Access and Organization

We've looked at creative ways to openly display your cables a few times , and these cord design projects are neat, but how do you actually pull it off? Palle's method looks to be an effective option. Here's the rundown:

Figure out your design ahead of time and pencil it onto the wall. You need to make sure you don't exceed the cable's length and you can avoid this by cutting a piece of string to the length of the cable and taping it onto the wall. Next, trace the string with a pencil (preferably one that erases very easily).
Put the adhesive tape on the wall along the pattern you penciled on.
Put a little super glue on the tape and start adding your cables. You'll need to hold the cable in place each time as the superglue dries. Palle found the superglue was necessary as the cables wouldn't stick without it.
Admire your creation.

Keck Observatory in Hawaii show an overwhelming population of red dwarfs in eight massive nearby elliptical galaxies. The team has discovered that these galaxies hold twenty times more red dwarfs than the Milky Way.

Van Dokkum says that "there are possibly trillions of Earths orbiting these stars" which are "typically more than 10 billion years old." According to him, that's long enough for complex life to evolve, which is "one reason why people are interested in this type of star." In fact, astronomers discovered the first exoplanet similar to our own Earth—and therefore capable of harboring complex life—orbiting the Gliese 581 red dwarf star system, 20.3 light years from our home planet.

Carl Sagan explains why this discovery has a dramatic impact in our search for intelligent life in the Universe, using the Drake Equation:

This way is preferred by the search engines.

Where to put backlinks?

You can put backlinks in any number of locations. You can use them in signatures in forums, you can pay for them, but today we are talking about putting them in blogs.

You find a blog that is about a similar topic as what you will be linking to. You read the blog and then you make an insightful and meaningful comment to the post. When you are finished with your post you also put a link to the site you want the search engines to go look at. (and the other people reading the blog for that matter) :)

How to make a backlink?

To make a backlink it takes a couple steps. (they're real easy don't worry)

1. Know your url. If you want your link to send people to the front page, or to a specific article or blog post, make sure you have the specific url for that. For example it might be the difference between www.itsawahmlife.com which is the main page of my personal blog or this: http://itsawahmlife.com/pb-j-chicken-stew.html which is a specific post.

2. Now you need a little html magic. You will need to use this html code to make a link:
