While Playfish has added new shops, rewards, and rooms for Pet Society users, its latest addition doesn�t actually appear inside Facebook � it�s on the �public� web. Now that the Facebook version of the game has grown to nearly 11 million monthly users, Pet Society has expanded its reach beyond the Facebook platform with its new website, PetSociety.com.

Using Facebook Connect, visitors can play directly from the site. The site also has links to Playfish forums, downloads, links and videos submitted by fans. While the videos might seem strange, it shows us what is beyond those fuzzy, cartoon critters in hats.

PetSociety.com also shows visitors everything they would want to know about the game, such as an informational web version of the virtual world�s town. The site updates users on the latest gifts or weekly drawings. It also provides free newsletters and Pet Society merchandise. Facebook users hit by hoax sexy video

Thousands of Facebook users have been the victim of a fake video that's designed to infect PCs with adware, says Sophos.

According to the security firm, hundreds of social networkers said the video, which claims to be the "sexiest video ever", looked as though it had been posted on their Facebook page by friends.

However, those clicking on the video are warned that the video won't play unless the correct software is installed. Those that download the software instead install adware on their PC.The message with the video read "this is without doubt the sexiest video ever! :P :P :P. Candid Camera Prank [HQ] Length: 3:17" and featured a thumbnail of a woman on an exercise bicycle wearing a short skirt.

"You may want to watch a sexy video, but you're more likely to end up being plagued by pop-up advertising," warned Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos.

"Not only is adware being installed on your computer, but the rogue Facebook application is posting the same message to all of your friends' accounts. It's no surprise that your friends might click to watch the movie when it looks to all intents and purposes that you are the person who has sent it to them."

Cluley urged web users not to click on the link, and said those who have been attacked should scan their computer with anti-virus software, change their passwords and remove the application from their Facebook profile.

"70 percent more Facebook users are reporting being attacked by malware via the site in the last year, and the problem only seems to be getting worse," added Cluley.

"Social networking users need to learn not to fall for simple but effective social engineering tricks like this in future."

Kids On Facebook � Facebook Briefs Parents in Palo Alto: Where does Facebook�s Business Model Fit into Protecting our Kids?

My kids have Facebook accounts and we have a Facebook policy in our house. I guess that you�d put me in the camp of �parents for Facebook�. As a new and avid user of Facebook and someone keenly interested in social science and child development, I attended a Facebook meeting last night with parents in Palo Alto with great interest.

Every social media network is searching for the best method to create large audience leading to large amounts of advertising revenue. With over 200 million users and increased R&D budget to develop 35 new foreign language interfaces�.I would say that Facebook�s goals are clear � to increase the social graph as quickly and dramatically as possible. It is working. 70% of Facebook�s users are outside of the US. Every day new members are added. Friends of friends become friends of friends�and so on and so on. Facebook is our children�s present social communication culture. Bravo to Facebook.

How many of those �friends of friends� do you want your child interfacing with�regularly, publicly & not in the real world? Being the inquisitive parent I am, I attended a local high school Parent Ed meeting last night.

The event l was billed as an event to increase your knowledge of your kids� cyber culture on Facebook. The Facebook employee panelist was informative enough, but I couldn�t help feel that he really didn�t �get it�. His youth was indicative of the Facebook employee culture, but I am guessing he has never worried about a child getting home safely or being stalked on the Internet.

Questions were answered relating to privacy settings & Facebook procedures for blocking inappropriate posts and or members. The slide show was informative, but didn�t really reach the heart of the matter. The high school principal spoke with us about how the administration disciplines kids who post inappropriately in the high school network. The two high school age panelists spoke to their methods of protecting and sharing their information on Facebook. Yes, interesting, but I still left the event feeling hungry for more parenting tools.

I was left wondering, who is monitoring cyberspace outside of school hours? Whose responsibility is it? Should Facebook default to the most restrictive privacy settings for minors? Wouldn�t restrictions to spreading networks be highly counter to their business goals. Is Facebook�s sharing and connecting utility and business growth plan in conflict with the best interest of the kids?

Some parents felt that the school needed to become more proactive in teaching our kids to be safe, and even went so far as to suggest a mandated course. Others indicated that the cyber businesses which interact with youth need to take more responsibility.

My take: This is a new parenting frontier � an opportunity. We are two steps behind our kids, even if we think we know what they are doing online. It is a parent�s responsibility to discipline (Latin root = teach) our children how to protect themselves. Many kids balk at the idea of sharing their online communications with parents. Until my children are 18, I am the authority. We need to set expectations for our kids & walk them through this uncharted territory with guidelines. Parents: require your children to share passwords with you. Set time aside to see what your children are doing online. Invite them to browse through their accounts with you. Ask questions and really listen.

Zynga Games, creator of applications such as FarmVille and Mafia Wars, has created a Sim-style application for Facebook. YoVille is a virtual world that will appeal to players of games like The Sims and Animal Crossing. Players, called YoVillians, can chat and interact with friends, decorate their homes and dress their character. YoVille uses two types of currency within the game - YoCash and YoCoins.

Earning YoCoins - The Basic YoVille Currency

YoCoins are the basic currency of YoVille. They are used to purchase furniture and decorations for apartments, clothing, music or even a larger home. YoCoins are easy to earn, with a large number of activities paying them out.

Visiting Friends - Having friends on YoVille is an easy way to earn extra YoCoins. Simply visit friends in their apartments and perform an action, such as joking, fighting or leaving a message. YoVillians can only earn coins for 20 unique friend visits a day.
Working - The other basic way to make YoCoins is to go to work at the factory in the upper left-hand corner of the map. Four work options are available, offering a variety of YoCoins, YoPoints and bonuses. Players can only visit the factory once every six hours.
Larger Crew - The more members a player invites to their crew, the larger bonus they receive when working at the factory. Players can invite all friends that already play YoVille, plus anyone else from their Facebook friends list that may be interesting in joining.
Speedway - The YoVille Speedway is a racing game. Winning a race will net 10 YoCoins. Click the left mouse button to gain speed, but do not click while over oil slicks or the player will fall. Only 20 wins from games are paid out each day.
Fishing - Fishing can be found just behind the apartments on the main YoVille map. The fishing competition is a race to catch the most, and largest, fish during a three minute time span. The winner receives 10 coins, plus a bonus if they catch the pearl.
Tic-Tac-Toe and Rock Paper Scissors - Click on other players who are online to find the option to play games against them. Winning at either game will earn 10 YoCoins, while a draw will earn 5.
Purchase YoCoins - YoVillians who are in a hurry and have some extra cash can purchase YoCoins using either PayPal or a credit card. The smallest amount available for purchase is 5,000 YoCoins, costing $10. Click the �Buy More YoCash� option to purchase YoCoins.
Visit YoVille.com - YoVille.com offers players more information about the game, as well as the opportunity to hunt for pots of gold on other player�s profiles.

Getting YoCash to Buy Rare Items

YoCash is more difficult to acquire than YoCoins. It is required to purchase many of the rare and collectable options. Unlike YoCoins, YoCash cannot be traded with other players. However, most items that are purchased with YoCash are tradeable. The simplest way to acquire YoCash is to purchase it. Five dollars will purchase $25 of YoCash, with discounts for larger purchases. The purchase options are the same as with YoCoins.

The other method for getting YoCash is to complete offers and surveys. YoVillians who choose this method should scrutinize the information carefully. Many of the surveys that seem simple are actually methods of collecting personal information and distributing it to their partners. Higher paying offers typically require a purchase, while free offers pay less but will not need a credit card number. There are several important factors to think about before completing offers.

Research Offers - There are also many threads available on the YoVille.com forums offering advice about the best free offers.
Limit Personal Information Given - Set limits before handing over addresses and phone numbers. Think about whether the YoCash is really worth providing your personal details.
Use �Junk� Email Account - Free offers all still require an email account. Players should use an account that is set up specifically for use on websites. Some offers will result in spam.

Navigating YoVille - The Main Screen

Upon starting the game, YoVillians will find themselves in the living room of their apartment. At the top of the screen are buttons to go to the map of the city, edit the layout and contents of a room, change the appearance of the character and view inventory. The next line down includes the energy meter, which is used as the character performs actions, and the level gauge.

But, while I'm still disappointed with Facebook apps in general, I also have to admit that we've come a long way since the days of pirates versus zombies and throwing virtual sheep at one another. Integration With Other Social Sites

1) Dopplr: Where Next?

What It Does: Displays your upcoming trips from the excellent travel-centric social network Dopplr on your Facebook profile.

Why You Need It: Because telling people where you are by manually changing your "current town" on Facebook is pass� and a waste of time when you have Dopplr. With this app, friends can easily see when you're leaving town and when you're getting back.

2) Upcoming

What It Does: Integrates your Facebook events with local events from Upcoming. Lets you add events and view events from either site.

Why You Need It: You're using Facebook to create, browse and confirm events anyway. You might as well make sure you don't miss anything because you forgot to check both sites. Upcoming also suggests events in your area, so you might find out about a cool opportunity that would have otherwise passed you by.

3) Ping.fm

1) Search for �Twitter� in Facebook and add the first �Twitter� application that shows up in the search results. (It�s made by Twitter itself.)

2) Allow Twitter to access your profile.

3) Log into your Twitter account (via the Twitter application inside Facebook).

Now your Facebook messages will also show up in Twitter! But there�s one more step to send information from Twitter back to Facebook�

4) After you test out the Facebook to Twitter functionality by typing a message and clicking on �Update,� click on �Allow Twitter to Update Your Facebook Status�

5) Allow status updates from Twitter back to Facebook.

That�s fine. You don�t have to change; however, the lack of ability to actually style your facebook experience is ridiculous. And, finally with PageRage, the ability to style your facebook is now achievable.

The lack of ability to style out your Facebook profile should not be a decision made by a group of kids in Palo Alto; but a decision made by the user. Publishing to Twitter from Facebook Pages

Many people have asked us to make Facebook and Twitter work better together for those times when they want to share their content as widely as possible. We agree. Over the next few days, we will be releasing a feature that allows administrators of Facebook Pages to publish their Facebook updates to their Twitter accounts automatically. This will only link Facebook Pages to Twitter, not your individual profile.

Public figures, musicians, businesses and organizations of all types who've created Facebook Pages often want to share a status update, a photo or an event with as many of their supporters as possible. Celebrities may want to share personal news or charities may want to put out calls for help to both their Facebook fans and their Twitter followers, all at the same time.

If you manage a Facebook Page, you now will be able to decide whether to share updates with their Twitter followers, and you also will be able to control what type of updates to share: status updates, links, photos, notes, events or all of them. If you have multiple Pages, you will have the option to link each of those Pages to different Twitter accounts. This new feature will soon be available at http://www.facebook.com/twitter.

A number of celebrities and organizations on Facebook are already using this feature to publish the content on their Facebook Page to Twitter and reach a wider audience. They include Dane Cook, LIVESTRONG, The World Wildlife Fund, and the NBA, WNBA and D-League.

Facebook Ads to Target You By Location and Language

Yesterday, as Facebook rolled out their revamped homepage which delivered new features like real-time updates, filters, and an improved sharing box, another update was quietly occurring behind the scenes. While everyone was busy analyzing the front-end changes to the user interface, Facebook announced to advertisers there were some major updates coming for them as well. According to a Facebook blog post, advertisers are now able to target ads based on languages spoken and the location of users.

Targeting by Languages

The post informed advertisers that they now had access to two of the most frequently requested targeting filters: language targeting and location targeting. Obviously, the language targeting makes sense, especially considering that Facebook is currently available in 40 languages with over 60 more in development. In fact, it's somewhat surprising that this feature was not available until now.

When a particular language is entered into a box on the ad signup form, the approximate reach of the selection will appear at the bottom. For example, if an advertiser enters in a location of "United States" and the language "Spanish," the approximate reach will display 1,081,820 - the number of Spanish-speaking Facebook users in the States.

Facebook Knows Where You Live

However, it's the location-based targeting which is the most interesting of the two updates. Here, advertisers can narrow their focus in order to target users within a certain mile radius of a particular location. This feature is currently available only in the U.S., the U.K., and Canada for targeting cities and/or targeting within 10, 25, or 50 miles of the cities selected.

With this feature, advertisers can tap into the detailed demographics that Facebook users so willingly share along with their age, sex, relationship status, educational background, etc. (You didn't really think you were just filling that info out to share with friends, did you?)

Will Hyperlocal Ads Come Next?

As advertisers better learn to target narrower sets of users, we wonder if it's only a matter of time before Facebook introduces a mobile, location-based component to their network which would allow users share their exact (or nearly exact) location within a city. Imagine the possibilities for extreme hyperlocal ads then! What if advertisers could target all the users who updated how they were sipping lattes at Starbucks, for instance? Or perhaps the ads could target users who posted that they've checked in at a Vegas hotel for a big conference? These are the sorts of niche demographics that advertisers can only dream about now, but the technology already exists to enable that level of precision.

Today, a handful of early-adopters are currently sharing this type of information through Facebook's News Feed and status updates courtesy of the mobile social networking serviceBrightkite. If you're friends with any Brightkite users, you'll likely see the location updates pop into your feeds from time to time thanks to that service's ability to integrate with Facebook by way of Facebook Connect. This relatively new authentication technology allows users to log into the Brightkite service with their Facebook account and then shoot their updates from Brightkite back into their profiles. If Facebook advertisers could tap into the sort of niche demographics that Brightkite could give access to, it could open up a whole world of possibilities for hyperlocal ad targeting.

The only stumbling block to implementing this type of targeting is the same one that always comes up: those pesky users and their sense of privacy. Would Facebook users revolt if, all of a sudden, Facebook knew exactly where they were and served up ads that did too? The Facebook ads seem creepy enough now as they're often far more accurate and relevant than some users are comfortable with. What would hyperlocal ads look like then? Far creepier, we would imagine. "Do you really need that second Frappuccino? Why not head to the gym instead - it's only 3 blocks away!" Yikes.

But while it's true that some users would balk at that level of invasiveness, others would welcome it. In fact, Facebook is actively cultivating a sense among its users that going online is no longer a private activity. By tucking away their privacy controls deep within their settings, they're encouraging the average user to overshare personal information with people who would have never known them in that way before - people like mom, dad, and the boss, for example.

In time, the sense of openness Facebook fosters among a person's social - and perhaps professional - network will wear away at that sense of privacy until users aren't just tolerant of these hyperlocal ads, they will welcome them and they'll expect them. Google's recent foray into more targeted advertising will only help further this cause, too.

Of course, in this imagined scenario, Facebook users who want to maintain their privacy would be able to do so - they could just opt-out of the feature. But maintaining online privacy is something that will, over time, become harder and harder to do. There will be more settings to adjust, more configuring of block lists, and more checkboxes to mark. Most users won't bother with it - they will just adjust to the changes and to the new reality of the smarter (and yes, perhaps scarier) ads.

64. Fortune Cookie. Like the ones you get after a Chinese meal. Except you don't get to stuff your face with egg fried rice first. Hang on, that's no fun... Get it

65. Daily Bible Verse. Because you don't only find wisdom inside Chinese snacks. Get it

66. PuzzleBee. Turn your photos into jigsaw puzzles and share them with friends. Ideally used with drunken-night-out pics the morning after, just to mess with their hangovers even more. Get it

67. NES games. Play old-skool Nintendo classics in your browser. Just possibly not 100% legal, mind.Get it

68. Rockband. Create your own virtual rawk band, and fight your way to the top of the charts by signing up fans. I still don't understand where the virtual sex, drugs and rock'n'roll comes in though. Get it

69. Zipatrip. Part list of where you've been in the world, and part travelog with photos of all your holiday happenings (i.e. you, red as a lobster, licking vodka off an 18-30 rep's buttocks). Get it

70. Wikipedia. Search the planet's best Encyclopaedia 2.0 from within Facebook, while telling yourself that it's never inaccurate. Never. Get it

71. Pokedex. For Pokemon fans who've gotta catch 'em all (or at least look at them on Facebook). Get it

72. Friend Wheel. See the links between your friends in a colourful graph-wheel stylee. Get it

73. Web Sudoku. Pit your numerical wits against a series of Sudoku puzzles, then compare your times to friends. Get it

74. SlideShows. Turn your photos and vids into rolling slideshows that even your family will try not to watch. Get it

75. Honesty Box. Send anonymous messages to your friends telling them what you REALLY think. Isn't the point of friends that you can do this without needing anonymity? Get it

76. Food Fight! (pictured) Get daily lunch money to spend on food, then chuck it at your friends. In the real world, it's wasting the planet's natural resources, but on Facebook it's just wasting your work-time. Cool. Get it

77. Vampires. Like zombies, except even more bitey. Get it

78. Lending Club. Borrow money from a collective of Facebook users. Although the fact that someone spends their working day on Facebook may indicate that they soon might not have a salary to meet the repayments... Get it

79. Diner Dash. One of my fave ever web casual games goes Facebook, with you working as a waitress. Except more fun than that sounds, honest. Get it

80. Snooth. Get wine recommendations, helping you step up from your usual habit of buying whatever's got a couple of quid knocked off the price in Sainsburys. Or is that just me (hic)? Get it

81. Happiness Gauge. Show the world how grumpy you're feeling today. Get it

82. Tarot Cards. Your own personal set of Tarot cards, showing the influences that govern your entire life. Death, Death and Death isn't a great set, obviously. Get it

83. Russian Roulette. More death, in that you put a gun on your profile that friends can chance their arm (well, eye/brains) with. Get it

84. Pac-Man. Decidedly unofficial, but still retro-tastic gaming fun. Get it

85. Chess. Play chess against your Facebook friends, to show that you're intelligent enough to have progressed from draughts. Get it

86. I'm A Virgin??? Well, are you? This game lets you guess who's Done It and who hasn't. Just like your schooldays. Get it

87. myCrush. Tag friends who you'd secretly like a cheeky snog with, and then see if they tag you back. If they do, follow up with a good poke etc etc. Get it

88. My Flickr. Show your Flickr photos on your profile, sorted in a range of ways (Tags, Interesting, Photoset etc). Get it

89. YouTube Skins. Put a YouTube vid on your profile, then bling it up with some surrounding artwork (for example, a plasma screen). Very cool indeed. Get it

90. YouCams. Where Facebook and webcams collide. And not just for cybersex either. Honest. Get it

91. iPhone Owner. Perhaps the smuggest Facebook app in existence, this lets the world know that you've got Apple's new handset and they haven't. Unless they've added this app too, of course. Get it

92. Art (pictured). Put posh artworks on your profile, to show how cultured you are. Or if you're Prince William, to show which ones you own. Get it

93. Big Brother News. Who's whining at who in the latest pointless argument inside the Big Brother house? Find out here. Get it

94. Chizzat. Live chat to your Facebook friends on your profile. For those who are just TOO DAMN IMPATIENT to wait for wall-to-wall. Get it

95. Your Hottest Friend. Vote on which of your friends you'd most like to spoil the friendship with a slightly-taboo shagfest. Get it

96. Project Playlist. Simple and cool app that integrates with your playlist on Music 2.0 site Project Playlist. Get it

97. Girl On Bus. Suitably silly animated game where you have to stop a cartoon girl called Maggie from toppling over on the bus. Get it

98. Friend Tracker. Find out who's been reading your profile with this app, which lets friends click on a link to let you know they stopped by. Get it

99. Magnetic Words. Stick fridge poetry all over your profile, and see how many rude phrases people come up with. Get it

100. Virtual iPhone. Much less expensive than a real one, with no battery worries. Get it

Mekanisme Program

Pelanggan Prepaid (IM3, Mentari & StarOne Prepaid) yang melakukan isi pulsa minimum Rp 50.000akan mendapat kesempatan untuk diundi selama periode program.

Contoh : Pelanggan yang isi pulsa Rp 50.000 pada tanggal 20 November 2009 s.d 26 November 2009 akan diikutsertakan pada pengundian pada tanggal 1 Desember 2009, begitu seterusnya sampai dengan akhir periode program.
Pelanggan Postpaid yang melakukan pembayaran di bulan November & Desember 2009 setiap kelipatan Rp 50.000 akan mendapatkan 1 nomor undian.

Contoh : Pelanggan melakukan pembayaran Rp 150.000 pada tanggal 20 November 2009 akan diikutsertakan pada pengundian pada tanggal 1 Desember 2009.
Terdapat 6 kali pengundian sampai dengan akhir periode program.
