This is the type of people in the radical feminist community. People who reblog blatantly racist posts like this. The claims made in this post are not true. Millions of people around the world are enslaved, yes. Exact numbers are hard to pinpoint, but latest estimates state approximately 45.8 million. Not in only “Muslim countries”, but worldwide, INCLUDING AMERICA AND THE WEST. (America, in particular, has a problem with this! See: Prison Labor) Also, no racial data has been collected in the major studies, so it is extremely intellectually disingenuous to claim that all modern-day slaves, or at least, 27 million of them, are Black.

Also, the claim that “no Liberal complains about that” is spurious, at best. There have been multiple Black rights activism efforts by people who live in the “Muslim countries”, during and even before the BLM protests in 2020. (Some examples: 1 2 3 4 5 6 just to name a few). And it’s obvious why Black Americans would “not complain” about racism in the MENA region. Hint, for the daft: it’s because they’re American, and busy trying to solve the problems at home in America!

All Black Lives Matter. And if you’re a so-called “radical feminist”, then all women should matter to you too. Does Black women’s safety not matter to you? Or are you too invested in upholding white supremacy by ridiculing Black Americans who are fighting for their right to not be killed by police?

Seriously, you call yourself a “feminist” but reblog racist, Islamophobic, xenophobic shit like this. But sure, anything to “Own the Libz” and dunk on “democRATs”, right? You should be ashamed of yourself.

This article is misinformation/a piece intended to shock and anger people.

Firstly, the man quoted in the article, Richard Morris, has no public-facing profiles. You’d think that if he was an advocate, he’d have at least a Twitter, Facebook page, website, or LinkedIn, but he has nothing, only the news article from the NY Post. I can’t find any evidence of his Change.org petitions, either. He previously lobbied the Scottish Government, but his petition collected only one signature, himself, and was later thrown out.

Second, the other man quoted in the article, Keith Pullman, is just a man with a blog. Seriously, they took his quote from his freaking Blogspot blog. Blogspot, a soapbox that anyone can join and post anything to. In addition, both his Twitter and blog read like a troll/psyop account intended to discredit LGBT people. I won’t go too much into this here because this post is already long (but I’ll explain in depth in a separate post if needed), but one telltale sign of a troll is the fact that he has multiple fake accounts, or people associated with him, retweeting and liking his things, presumably to “boost” them. Not all of them may belong to him, but some of them look suspiciously like sockpuppets. Some of the accounts:

He presumably has many suspended accounts too, I didn’t look too hard, but one of them that stuck out is @incestLovers, which, after searching the webcache (archive) for the tag “normaliseincest”, (one of the hashtags used by many of the sockpuppet accounts listed above) I found this tweet:

Moving on, the news source. The New York Post is not a credible source. They are a right wing tabloid known for sensationalism and biased reporting. Wikipedia says:

Also, there are no other primary sources reporting on this “story”. The other major news site I could find which wrote about this, news.com.au, cites the New York Post article as a source. The far right media site TheBlaze also reported on this story, but they, too, use the NYP article as a source. The only other major news source where this story has been mentioned is RT News, however they reported on the New York Post getting backlash for giving incest advocates a platform, which implies that the NYP reached out to Morris and Pullman in order to interview them for a story. The fact that this was not covered by other major news sources is extremely telling, as usually news stories are covered independently by 2-3 sources at the very least.

So, in closing, yes, incest is bad and should absolutely not be supported or encouraged by society in any way. But two randos, one of whom may be a troll, being interviewed by a low credibility tabloid newspaper, isn’t the “BREAKING NEWS” story you think it is. @lilitwasright

I know that BLM the organization has flaws, but calling it a terrorist organization? Really? Radical feminism is supposed to be about the liberation of ALL women, which includes Black women, and you’re going to call those who support BLM terrorists?
I wanted to call her out for this and make sure the news gets out here on tumblr. We should not support people like her in our spaces. I do not want us to become like the TRAs who don’t call out bigotry in their communities.
The audacity for her to slam BLM and BLM protestors while calling herself a radfem is fucking insane. Black women contribute SO MUCH to radical feminism, and it is largely built on the contributions of women of color. What the fuck.

welp, i gave her the benefit of the doubt, that’s highly unfortunate. i guess she’s like a libertarian or trad that tried to play the radfem crowd because we’d give her support. @vanessavokeyradfem i know you won’t change your mind on the blm thing, that’s about white, but care to explain how you can call yourself a radfem while claiming that circumcision is worse than fgm? have you ever properly read radfem theory? have you read about fgm? do you know anything about radical feminism other than we criticise transgenderism? do you know what misogynoir is? do you know that we have very basic ideology that you by definition have to agree with to be a radfem because words have meaning?
this is what i fucking meant about people calling themselves radfems and gender critical when they know nothing more and believe in nothing more than criticising trans people. it actively harms not just our movement, but other people.

She posted this like 13 hrs ago. I personally dont understand sending hateful comments but im sure there were comments asking her to elaborate. I think that she like everyone else is allowed to have her own opinion but since she is a public figure, people are allowed to question her as well. I think she thinks shes right and is not backing down which can be a good quality sometimes but you also need to admit when youre wrong too and im not sure if she is able to do that. At this point she seems like a troll and I wish she wouldnt call herself a radical feminist but shes not going to stop doing that I assume. Shes just a loud voice with a megaphone and a populist without any rational reasoning behind denying that BLM is a terrorist group or that white people dont have privilege when it comes to thinking abt race. I also think she is hugely misinformed about what white privilege even means(lots of people assume that it means white=wealthy) I just wish she posted something with more logic and reasoning instead of a steven cr*wder meme but I guess she isnt as smart as she thinks she is. Idk I find this so tonedeaf and just not really thought through…Megan Murphy for example has some contrarian stances but at least she examines them and talks about them, she even invited a former leader of a BLM organization to talk about what should be changed and she didnt call it a terrorist group. And like the comment above mine, I dont think Vanessa ever touched radical feminist theory and she sounds like those kids that call themselves communists or leftists and have never read Marxs. I’m positive that the same people who’ve brainwashed this young woman into transitioning also brainwashed her into ceasing all contacts with her mother. These people have a pattern of convincing young vulnerable people that everyone who doesn’t fully and uncritically support their beliefs and delusions is a dangerous enemy who needs to be erased from their lives.
Just like cults.
Wasn’t there a censored article about how “trans” kids are more likely to disown/cut off their parents than the reverse with LGB kids?
They’re deliberately ruining their own lives and relationships for this chosen “gender identity”. Do you think I’m going to feel bad for you because you made yourself homeless after strangers on the internet told you you’re “non binary Demi sexual aflux” and your parents knew it was ridiculous?
Another reason the T needs to stop comparing itself to the LGB. We’re the ones getting kicked out of our homes - you’re willingly leaving.
I understand the whole thing is exhausting but they’re really influenced by an ideology that is cult-like, and we all know how one of the first step of abuse is separating the victims from their loved ones, their friends, through manipulation. I know it’s easier for me to be calm about the situation because it doesn’t impact my life, so I don’t want you to think I’m judging you for being fed up. It’s just that I don’t want readers who may be in that situation to believe everything is their fault, especially the young ones. They were manipulated into this, their vulnerability was exploited and they’re not to blame.
You have more empathy than I, and that’s probably a good thing.
i cried reading this article even though it’s a short read because i cannot fathom disowning my own mom and cutting off communication with her forever. i understand some people doing this already never had good relationships with their family, but for those who did and are purposefully ruining them, it’s heartbreaking imagining these parents just doing what parents do and worrying and trying to look out for their kids, only to be told to fuck off forever and let them only imagine how they’re kids are harming themselves without console. it just makes me so emotional thinking of all the good and caring parents who’ve lost their kids in this way because of that cult mentality of cutting off family relations.
It’s really sad. My parents were friends with a couple whose daughter was in a New Age cult that was named Horus. The members lived in a commune in southern France, cut from the outside world, their children didn’t go to school and they rejected modern medicine in favor of well, mumbo jumbo, like curing diabetes with the power of the sun and of course they refused to be vaccined. The commune’s guru was a woman named Maité who pretended to be an Egyptian priestess reincarnated. At the time there was a popular cooking show on tv who’s hostess was named Maité, so telling a French person that a southern woman with that first name was pretending to communicate with Egyptian gods was hilarious.
But people actually died from lack of care and my parents’ friends were rightfully afraid for their grandchildren who were not vaccinated. Fortunately the cult was shut down in 1997 after several lawsuits, but it still existed for about 7-8 years. These people were good people who loved their daughter and they tried everything to get her out. It really happens to good, intelligent people from balanced and happy families.
If you just look at how for example Scientology recruits people, it’s always about being your better self, about self esteem. New Age movements were all about telling people we can give you the peaceful life you’ve always wanted with people who understand and support you. As we say in French you don’t attract flies with vinegar, anyone can be at some point vulnerable to a cult’s arguments, even when they seem completely ridiculous to an outsider.

a quick google search and you’ll find out this woman has links to the christian right. she’s spoken for catholic “pro-life” podcasts, been interviewed for articles that say shit like “the liberal business has never truly cared about kids–not after spending thousands of dollars helping planned parenthood abort them–or working to deprive them of a married mom and dad.”
you can also find tweets from people claiming to be her kids (including her youngest daughter who doesn’t identify as trans) talking about her abusive behavior (including physical, emotional and religious violence). take these tweets with a grain of salt (I couldn’t verify their identities with my quick google search), but they do match what she says about her own life: in the podcast, she confirms her youngest daughter cut her off because of how she treated her trans siblings.
she says she looks at her children and “does’t see what they did to their hair or their body but at the person they are inside,” yet she also talks about how her children underwent “mutilating surgeries that destroyed their bodies” and about how “maybe it’s a good thing she can’t see her daughter because she can’t imagine her with a beard.” that’s not how you talk about your children’s decisions if you want them to talk to you. even if you do think that, you don’t build an internet presence around the narcissistic narrative that your kids transitioning ruined your life and made you suicidal.
why would you write about how your kid may become “unable to orgasm”?
were her kids truly “bright and often happy” before or is that just what she wanted to believe/wants the world to believe? why would they have transitioned if they were? if you truly want to take the “trans ideology is a cult” stance, then you also need to acknowledge the fact that cults mostly target vulnerable populations, not stable individuals with healthy relationships.
there’s also photos and reports linking her to right-wing neo-fascist groups.
these “gender critical” parents are appropriating language and narratives created by detransitioned women and radical feminists and twisting it for conservative purposes. y’all need to fucking do better.

Well I’m not a radfem for starters. In fact if you followed me you’d know I’m pretty critical of how radfems on this site constantly hide behind their ideology to excuse racism and antisemitism, amongst other things. I just asked a question about a blog I never followed and saw maybe three posts from that seemed light-hearted enough (in regards to randomly being told to say “trans rights” for no reason).
And while I do appreciate the receipts, it’s super weird that you created an entire blog just to respond to this post, especially since the question had already been answered a week ago lol

I don’t follow you and my post was not directed at you specifically. Someone I follow reblogged your post and I had it in my drafts for a couple days. Also I didn’t create a blog just to reply to this post, this blog is new, yes, but I created it to reply to all instances of misinformation. This just happened to be my first post, because I had the receipts on hand now.

Again, this blog is more about creating a reference archive of examples of misinformation, racism, etc. Sorry if I came off hostile.
