सन् 1947 में इसी दिन भारत के निवासियों ने ब्रिटिश शासन से स्‍वतंत्रता प्राप्त की थी। ... यह भारत का राष्ट्रीय त्यौहार है। प्रतिवर्ष इस दिन भारत के प्रधानमंत्री लाल किले की प्राचीर से देश को सम्बोधित करते हैं।
इस दिन का ऐतिहासिक महत्व है। इस दिन की याद आते ही उन शहीदों के प्रति श्रद्धा से मस्तक अपने आप ही झुक जाता है जिन्होंने स्वतंत्रता के यज्ञ में अपने प्राणों की आहु‍ति दी। इसलिए हमारा पुनीत कर्तव्य है कि हम हमारे स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा करें। देश का नाम विश्व में रोशन हो, ऐसा कार्य करें। देश की प्रगति के साधक बनें न‍ कि बाधक।

घूस, जमाखोरी, कालाबाजारी को देश से समाप्त करें। भारत के नागरिक होने के नाते स्वतंत्रता का न तो स्वयं दुरुपयोग करें और न दूसरों को करने दें। एकता की भावना से रहें और अलगाव, आंतरिक कलह से बचें। हमारे लिए स्वतंत्रता दिवस का बड़ा महत्व है। हमें अच्‍छे कार्य करना है और देश को आगे बढ़ाना है।

ब्रह्मास्त्र- पहला परमाणु बम.

ब्रह्मास्त्र-

संभवत: दुनिया का पहला परमाणु बम छोड़ा था अश्वत्थामा ने। आधुनिक काल में जे. रॉबर्ट ओपनहाइमर ने गीता और महाभारत का गहन अध्ययन किया। उन्होंने महाभारत में बताए गए ब्रह्मास्त्र की संहारक क्षमता पर शोध किया और अपने मिशन को नाम दिया ट्रिनिटी (त्रिदेव)। रॉबर्ट के नेतृत्व में 1939 से 1945 का बीच वैज्ञानिकों की एक टीम ने यह कार्य किया। 16 जुलाई 1945 को इसका पहला परीक्षण किया गया।
शोधकार्य के बाद विदेशी वैज्ञानिक मानते हैं कि वास्तव में महाभारत में परमाणु बम का प्रयोग हुआ था। 42 वर्ष पहले पुणे के डॉक्टर व लेखक पद्माकर विष्णु वर्तक ने अपने शोधकार्य के आधार पर कहा था कि महाभारत के समय जो ब्रह्मास्त्र इस्तेमाल किया गया था वह परमाणु बम के समान ही था। डॉ. वर्तक ने 1969-70 में एक किताब लिखी ‘स्वयंभू’। इसमें इसका उल्लेख मिलता है।

प्राचीन भारत में कहीं-कहीं ब्रह्मास्त्र के प्रयोग किए जाने का वर्णन मिलता है। रामायण में भी मेघनाद से युद्ध हेतु लक्ष्मण ने जब ब्रह्मास्त्र का प्रयोग करना चाहा तब श्रीराम ने उन्हें यह कहकर रोक दिया क‍ि अभी इसका प्रयोग उचित नहीं, क्योंकि इससे पूरी लंका साफ हो जाएगी।
ब्रह्मास्त्र एक परमाणु हथियार है जिसे दैवीय हथियार कहा गया है। माना जाता है कि यह अचूक और सबसे भयंकर अस्त्र है। जो व्यक्ति इस अस्त्र को छोड़ता था वह इसे वापस लेने की क्षमता भी रखता था लेकिन अश्वत्थामा को वापस लेने का तरीका नहीं याद था जिसके परिणामस्वरूप लाखों लोग मारे गए थे। रामायण और महाभारतकाल में ये अस्त्र गिने-चुने योद्धाओं के पास था।

रामायणकाल में जहां यह विभीषण और लक्ष्मण के पास यह अस्त्र था वहीं महाभारतकाल में यह द्रोणाचार्य, अश्वत्थामा, कृष्ण, कुवलाश्व, युधिष्ठिर, कर्ण, प्रद्युम्न और अर्जुन के पास था। अर्जुन ने इसे द्रोण से पाया था। द्रोणाचार्य को इसकी प्राप्ति राम जामदग्नेय से हुई थी। ऐसा भी कहा गया है कि अर्जुन को यह अस्त्र इंद्र ने भेंट किया था।

Brahmastra
Probably Ashwatthama had dropped the world's first atomic bomb. In modern times Robert Openheimer studied the Gita and Mahabharata deeply. He researched the destructive power of Brahmastra mentioned in the Mahabharata and named his mission Trinity (Trideva). A team of scientists did this work between 1939 and 1945 under the leadership of Robert. It was first tested on 16 July 1945.

After research, foreign scientists believe that atomic bomb was actually used in Mahabharata. 42 years ago, Padmakar Vishnu Vartak, a doctor and writer from Pune, said on the basis of his research that the Brahmastra used during the Mahabharata was the same as the atomic bomb. Dr. Vartak wrote a book 'Swayambhu' in 1969-70. It is mentioned in it.

Description of the use of Brahmastra is found somewhere in ancient India. Even in the Ramayana, when Laxman wanted to use the Brahmastra to fight Meghnad, Sri Ram stopped him saying that it is not appropriate to use it right now, because it will clear the whole of Lanka.

Brahmastra is a nuclear weapon called a divine weapon. It is believed to be the infallible and most dreaded weapon. The person who gave up this weapon also had the ability to take it back but Ashwatthama did not remember the way to withdraw which resulted in millions of casualties. In the Ramayana and Mahabharata period this weapon was with few warriors.

In the Ramayana period, where it was possessed by Vibhishana and Lakshmana, in the Mahabharata period it was with Dronacharya, Ashwatthama, Krishna, Kuvalashva, Yudhishthira, Karna, Pradyuman and Arjuna. Arjuna got it from Drona. Dronacharya got it from Ram Jamadagnay. It is also said that this weapon was presented to Arjuna by Indra.

ब्रह्मास्त्र के प्रकार-
ब्रह्मास्त्र कई प्रकार के होते थे। छोटे-बड़े और व्यापक रूप से संहारक। इच्छित, रासायनिक, दिव्य तथा मांत्रिक-अस्त्र आदि। माना जाता है कि दो ब्रह्मास्त्रों के आपस में टकराने से प्रलय की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो जाती है। इससे समस्त पृथ्वी के समाप्त होने का भय रहता है। महाभारत में सौप्तिक पर्व के अध्याय 13 से 15 तक ब्रह्मास्त्र के परिणाम दिए गए हैं।

Types of Brahmastra
There were many types of Brahmastra. Small-scale and widely destructive. Desired, chemical, divine and mantri-weapons etc. It is believed that the state of holocaust arises due to the collision of two Brahmastras. Due to this, there is a fear of the end of all the earth. ब्रह्मास्त्र का निर्माण-
वेद-पुराणों आदि में वर्णन मिलता है जगतपिता भगवान ब्रह्मा ने दैत्यों के नाश हेतु ब्रह्मास्त्र की उत्पति की। ब्रह्मास्त्र का अर्थ होता है ब्रह्म (ईश्वर) का अस्त्र। प्राचीनकाल में शस्त्रों से ज्यादा संहारक होते थे अस्त्र। शस्त्र तो धातुओं से निर्मित होते थे लेकिन अस्त्र को निर्मित करने की विद्या अलग ही थी।

प्रारंभ में ब्रह्मास्त्र देवी और देवताओं के पास ही हुआ करता था। प्रत्येक देवी-देवताओं के पास उनकी विशेषता अनुसार अस्त्र होता था। देवताओं ने सबसे पहले गंधर्वों को इस अस्त्र को प्रदान किया। बाद में यह इंसानों ने हासिल किया।

प्रत्येक शस्त्र पर भिन्न-भिन्न देव या देवी का अधिकार होता है और मंत्र, तंत्र और यंत्र के द्वारा उसका संचालन होता है। ब्रह्मास्त्र अचूक अस्त्र है, जो शत्रु का नाश करके ही छोड़ता है। इसका प्रतिकार दूसरे ब्रह्मास्त्र से ही हो सकता है, अन्यथा नहीं।

Creation of Brahmastra
A description is found in the Vedas and Puranas etc. Lord Brahma created the Brahmastra to destroy the demons. Brahmastra means the weapon of Brahma (God). In ancient times, weapons were more destructive than weapons. Weapons were made of metals, but the art of manufacturing weapons was different.

ब्रह्मास्त्र को छोड़े जाने का परिणाम-
महर्षि वेदव्यास लिखते हैं कि जहां ब्रह्मास्त्र छोड़ा जाता है वहां 12 वर्षों तक पर्जन्य वृष्टि (जीव-जंतु, पेड़-पौधे आदि की उत्पत्ति) नहीं हो पाती।' महाभारत में उल्लेख मिलता है कि ब्रह्मास्त्र के कारण गांव में रहने वाली स्त्रियों के गर्भ मारे गए।

गौरतलब है कि हिरोशिमा में रेडिएशन फॉल आउट होने के कारण गर्भ मारे गए थे और उस इलाके में 12 वर्ष तक अकाल रहा।

The result of omitting the Brahmastra-
Maharishi Ved Vyas writes that where the Brahmastra is left, there is no purgatory rain (origin of animals, trees, plants etc.) for 12 years. It is mentioned in the Mahabharata that due to Brahmastra, women living in the village were killed.

Significantly, Hiroshima was killed due to radiation fallout and there was a famine in that area for 12 years.

ब्रह्मास्त्र के प्रयोग के प्राचीन प्रमाण-
सिन्धु घाटी सभ्यता (मोहन जोदड़ो, हड़प्पा आदि) में हुए अनुसंधान से ऐसे कई नगर मिले हैं, जो लगभग 5000 से 7000 ईसापूर्व अस्तित्व में थे। इन नगरों में मिले नरकंकालों की स्थिति से ज्ञात होता है कि मानो इन्हें किसी अकस्मात प्रहार से मारा गया है। इसके भी सबूत मिले हैं कि यहां किसी काल में भयंकर ऊष्मा उत्पन्न हुई थी। इन नरकंकालों का अध्ययन करन से पता चला कि इन पर रेशिएशन का असर भी था।

दूसरी ओर शोधकर्ताओं के अनुसार राजस्थान में जोधपुर से पश्चिम दिशा में लगभग 10 मील की दूरी पर तीन वर्गमील का एक ऐसा क्षेत्र है, जहां पर रेडियो एक्टिविटी की राख की मोटी परत जमी है। इस परत को देखकर उसके पास एक प्राचीन नगर को खोद निकाला गया जिसके समस्त भवन और लगभग 5 लाख निवासी आज से लगभग 8,000 से 12,000 साल पूर्व किसी विस्फोट के कारण नष्ट हो गए थे।

मुंबई से उत्तर दिशा में लगभग 400 किमी दूरी पर स्थित लगभग 2154 मीटर की परिधि वाला एक विशालकाय गड्ढा मिला है। शोधकर्ताओं के अनुसार इसकी आयु लगभग 50,000 वर्ष है। इस गड्ढे के शोध के पता चलता है कि प्राचीनकाल में भारत में परमाणु युद्ध हुआ था।

महासागरीय धाराएं :-
महासागर के जल के सतत एवं निर्देष्ट दिशा वाले प्रवाह को महासागरीय धारा कहते हैं। एक निश्चित दिशा में बहुत अधिक दूरी तक महासागरीय जल की एक राशि के प्रवाह को महासागरीय जलधारा (Ocean Current) कहते हैं. इन्हें समुद्री धाराएँ भी कहते हैं। वस्तुतः महासागरीय धाराएं, महासागरों के अन्दर बहने वाली उष्ण या शीतल नदियाँ हैं। प्रायः ये भ्रांति होती है कि महासागरों में जल स्थिर रहता है, किन्तु वास्तव मे ऐसा नही होता है। महासागर का जल निरंतर एक नियमित गति से बहता रहता है और इन धाराओं के विभिन्न रूप देखने को मिलते हैं। प्राकृतिक धारा में प्रमुख अपवहन धारा एवं स्ट्रीम करंट होती हैं। एक स्ट्रीम करंट की कुछ सीमाएं होती हैं, जबकि अपवहन धारा के बहाव की कोई विशिष्ट सीमा नहीं होती। पृथ्वी पर रेगिस्तानों का निर्माण जलवायु के परिवर्तन के कारण होता है। उच्च दाब के क्षेत्र एवं ठंडी महासागरीय जल धाराएं ही वे प्राकृतिक घटनाएं हैं, जिनकी क्रियाओं के फलस्वरूप सैकड़ों वर्षों के बाद रेगिस्तान बनते हैं।

Ocean currents: -
The flow of ocean water in a continuous and directed direction is called ocean current. The flow of an amount of ocean water for a very long distance in a certain direction is called Ocean Current. They are also called sea currents. In fact, ocean currents are warm or cold rivers flowing in the oceans. It is often mistaken that water in the oceans remains constant, but in reality it does not happen. The water of the ocean flows continuously at a regular speed and various forms of these currents are seen. The major drainage stream and stream current are in the natural stream. A stream current has some limitations, while the flow of a drainage stream has no specific limit. Deserts on Earth are created due to climate change. Areas of high pressure and cold ocean water currents are natural phenomena, whose actions result in deserts after hundreds of years.

महासागरीय धाराओं की उत्पत्ति :-
महासागरीय धारा बनने के मुख्यत: तीन कारण होते हैं - प्रथम तो जल में लवण की मात्रा एक स्थान की अपेक्षा दूसरे स्थान पर बदलती है, इसलिए सागरीय जल के घनत्व में भी स्थान के साथ-साथ परिवर्तन आता है। द्रव्यों की प्राकृतिक प्रवृत्ति जिसमें वे अधिक घनत्व वाले क्षेत्र की ओर अग्रसर होते हैं, के कारण धाराएं बनती हैं। दूसरे कारण में सूर्य की किरणें जल की सतह पर एक समान नहीं पड़तीं। इस कारण जल के तापमान में असमानता आ जाती है। इसके कारण संवहन धारा पैदा होते हैं। तीसरा कारण सागर की सतह के ऊपर बहने वाली तेज हवाएं होती हैं। उनमें भी जल में तरंगें पैदा करने की क्षमता होती है। ये तरंगें पृथ्वी की परिक्रमा से भी बनती हैं। इस घूर्णन के कारण पृथ्वी के उत्तरी हिस्से में घड़ी की दिशा में धाराएं बनती हैं। इस प्रकार मुख्य कारणों में निम्न आते हैं:

Origin of ocean currents: -
There are mainly three reasons for the formation of ocean currents - first, the amount of salt in the water changes from one place to another, so the density of ocean water also changes with the location. The natural tendency of liquids in which they lead to the area of higher density causes currents. In the second reason, the rays of the sun do not fall on the surface of the water. This causes inequality in water temperature. This creates convection currents. The third reason is strong winds flowing above the surface of the ocean. They also have the ability to produce waves in water. These waves are also formed by orbiting the Earth. This rotation causes clockwise currents in the northern part of the Earth. Thus, the main reasons are:
Earth rotation
air
Temperature difference of different places
Diffusion of water salinity at different places
Moon gravity

महासागरीय धाराओं के प्रकार :-
महासागरीय धाराएं दो प्रकार की होती हैं।
गर्म जलधारा-
निम्न अक्षांशों में उष्ण कटिबंधों से उच्च समशीतोष्ण और उपध्रुवीय कटिबंधों की ओर बहने वाली जलधाराओं को गर्म जलधारा कहते हैं।
यह प्राय: भूमध्य रेखा से ध्रुवों की ओर चलती है. इनके जल का तापमान मार्ग में आने वाले जल के तापमान से अधिक होता है. अत: यह धाराएँ जिन क्षेत्रों में चलती हैं वहाँ का तापमान बढ़ा देती हैं।
ठंडी जलधारा-
उच्च अक्षांशों से निम्न अक्षांशों की ओर बहने वाली जलधारा को ठंडी जलधारा कहते हैं. यह प्राय: ध्रुवों से भूमध्य रेखा की ओर चलती है. इनका तापमान रास्तें में आने वाले जल के तापमान से कम होता है. अत: यह धाराएँ जिन क्षेत्रों में चलती हैं वहाँ का तापमान घटा देती हैं।

Types of ocean currents: -
There are two types of ocean currents.
Hot stream
The streams flowing from the tropical tropics to the lower temperate and subipolar tropics in the lower latitudes are called warm streams.
It often moves from the equator towards the poles. Their water temperature is higher than the temperature of the water coming in the way. Therefore, these currents increase the temperature in the areas where they run.
Cold stream
The stream flowing from high latitudes to low latitudes is called cold stream. It often moves from the poles towards the equator. Their temperature is lower than the temperature of the water coming in the paths. Therefore, these currents reduce the temperature in the areas where they run.

महासागरीय जलधाराओं की विशेषताएँ :-
महासागरीय जलधाराओं की निम्नलिखित विशेषताएँ होती हैं:
धाराएँ एक विशाल नदी की तरह समुद्रों में बहती हैं । लेकिन इनके प्रवाह की गति और चैड़ाई एक जैसी नहीं होती ।
जल धाराएँ भी कॉरिओलिस बल के प्रभाव के कारण हवाओं की तरह ही भूगोल के नियम का पालन करती हैं ।
लेकिन हिन्द महासागर के उत्तरी भाग में धाराओं की दिशा कॉरिओलिस बल से निर्धारित न होकर मौसमी हवाओं से निर्धारित होती हैं । यह जल धाराओं के नियम का एक अपवाद है ।
गर्म धाराएँ ठण्डे सागर की ओर तथा ठण्डी धाराएँ गर्म सागर की ओर प्रवाहित होती हैं ।
निम्न अक्षांशों में पश्चिमी तटों पर ठण्डी जल धाराएँ तथा पूर्वी तटों पर गर्म जल धाराएँ बहती हैं।

Characteristics of oceanic streams: -
Oceanic streams have the following characteristics:
The currents flow into the seas like a huge river. But the speed and width of their flow is not the same.
Water currents also follow the law of geography just like winds due to the influence of Coriolis force.
But the direction of currents in the northern part of the Indian Ocean is determined not by the force of Coriolis but by seasonal winds. This is an exception to the law of water streams.
Warm currents flow towards the cold sea and cold currents flow towards the warm ocean.
In the lower latitudes, cold water currents flow on the western coasts and warm water currents on the eastern coasts.

महासागरीय धाराओं का महत्त्व :-
महासागरीय धाराओं का स्थानीय मौसम एवं उद्योग पर काफी प्रभाव पड़ता है।
महासागरीय धाराएँ समुद्री तटों के तापक्रम को प्रभावित करती हैं । जैसे गर्म पानी की धारा अपनी ऊष्मा के कारण ठण्डे समुद्री तटों के बर्फ को पिघलाकर उसमें जहाजों के आवागमन को सुगम बना देती हैं । साथ ही पानी के पिघलने के कारण वहाँ मछली पकड़ने की सुविधा मिल जाती है ।

बड़ी महासागरीय धाराएँ पृथ्वी की उष्मा को संतुलित बनाए रखने में योगदान देती हैं ।

महासागरीय धाराएँ अपने साथ प्लेंकटन नामक घास भी लाती हैं, जो मछलियों के लिए उपयोगी होती हैं । पेरु तट पर अलनीनो प्रभाव के कारण प्लेंकटन नष्ट हो जाते हैं, जबकि गल्फस्ट्रीम की प्लेंक्टन, न्यू फाऊलैण्ड पर पहुँचकर वहाँ महाद्वीपीय उद्योग के लिए अनुकूल परिस्थियाँ बना देते हैं ।

गर्म और ठण्डी धाराओं के मिलन स्थल पर कुहरा छा जाता है, जिससे जहाजों को बहुत नुकसान उठाना पउ़ता है। न्यूफाऊलैण्ड में हमेशा कुहरा छाये रहने के कारण वहाँ गल्फस्ट्रीम नामक गर्म जल धारा तथा लेप्रोडोर नामक ठण्डी जल धारा का मिलना ही है ।

ठण्डी धाराएँ अपने साथ बर्फ के बड़े-बड़े खण्ड भी लाती है, जो जहाजों के टकरा कर दुर्घटना का कारन बनती हैं।

उत्तरी गोलार्ध की जलधाराएँ अपनी दाई ओर तथा दक्षिणी गोलार्ध की जलधाराएँ अपनी बाई ओर प्रवाहित होती हैं. यह कारिओलीस बल के प्रभाव के कारण होता है।

महासागरीय जलधारों के संचरण की सामान्य व्यवस्था का एकमात्र अपवाद हिन्द महासागर से उत्तरी भाग में पाया जाता है. इस भाग में धाराओं के प्रवाह की दिशा मानसूनी पवन के दिशा के साथ बदल जाती है।

गर्म जलधाराएँ ठंडे सागरों के ओर और ठंडी जलधाराएँ गर्म सागरों की ओर बहने लगती हैं।

Importance of ocean currents: -
Ocean currents have a great impact on local weather and industry.

Ocean currents affect the temperature of the coasts. For example, a stream of hot water melts the ice of cold seashores due to its heat and facilitates the movement of ships in it. Also, due to melting of water, fishing facility is available there.

Large ocean currents contribute to keeping the Earth's heat balanced.

Ocean currents also carry grass called plankton, which are useful for fishes. The plankton are destroyed by the Alnino influence on the Peru coast, while Gulfstream's plankton arrive at Newfoundland creating favorable conditions for continental industry there.

Fog envelopes the meeting point of hot and cold currents, causing the ships to suffer a lot of damage. In Newfoundland, due to always having a mist, there is to be found a hot water stream called Gulfstream and cold water stream called Leprodor.

The cold currents also bring with them large blocks of ice, which collide with the ships, causing accidents.

The Northern Hemisphere's streams flow to its right and the Southern Hemisphere's streams flow to its left. This is due to the influence of the Cariolis force.

The only exception to the general system of ocean ocean circulation is found in the northern part of the Indian Ocean. In this section the direction of flow of currents changes with the direction of monsoon wind.

Warm streams flow towards the cold seas and cold streams flow towards the warm seas.

अपक्षय :-

अपक्षय वह प्रक्रिया है जिसके द्वारा पृथ्वी की सतह पर मौजूद चट्टानों में टूट-फूट होती है। यह अपरदन से अलग है, क्योंकि इसमें टूटने से निर्मित भूपदार्थों का एक जगह से दूसरी जगह स्थानान्तरण या परिवहन नहीं होता। यह अवघटना अपने ही स्थान पर होती है, इसके बाद निर्मित पदार्थों का कुछ हिस्सा अवश्य अपरदन के कारकों द्वारा परिवहन हेतु उपलब्ध हो जाता है।

आमतौर पर इसे एक जटिल प्रक्रिया माना जाता है जिसमें वातावरण का तापमान, नमी, चट्टान की संरचना, दाब और विविध रासायनिक और जैविक कारक एक साथ मिलकर कार्य करते हैं।

Weathering: -

Weathering is the process by which rocks on the surface of the Earth break up. This is different from erosion, because there is no transfer or transport of earthworks created by breakage. This phenomenon occurs in its own place, after which some part of the manufactured material must be available for transportation through the factors of erosion.

It is generally considered to be a complex process in which atmospheric temperature, moisture, rock composition, pressure and various chemical and biological factors work together.

अपक्षय के प्रकार :-

चट्टानों के टूटने के कारण के आधार पर अपक्षय के तीन प्रकार बताये जाते हैं: भौतिक, रासायनिक और जैविक अपक्षय।

भौतिक अपक्षय :-

भौतिक अपक्षय अथवा यांत्रिक अपक्षय, वह अपक्षय है जिसमें चट्टानों के टूटने की प्रक्रिया में कोई रासायनिक बदलाव नहीं होता बल्कि ताप दाब इत्यादि कारकों द्वारा चट्टानों में टूट-फूट होती है। इसके भी कई प्रकार हैं -

जल की उपस्थिति में यांत्रिक अपक्षय।

नमक द्वारा अपक्षय।

सूर्याताप अपक्षय।

दाब मुक्ति द्वारा अपक्षय।

तनाव अपघर्षण अपक्षय।

रासायनिक अपक्षय :-

रासायनिक अपक्षय में चट्टानों के पदार्थों का रासायनिक गुण परिवर्तित होने और इसके कारण उनका कमजोर होकर टूटना शामिल किया जाता है। इसमें आक्सीकरण, कार्बनीकरण, जलयोजन और सिलिकाहनन जैसी प्रक्रियायें शामिल हैं।

जैविक अपक्षय :-

जैविक कारकों को कभी-कभी यांत्रिक और रासायनिक अपक्षय के सहायक कारक के रूप में भी देखा जाता है।

उदाहरण के लिए पेड़ों की जड़ों के विस्तार द्वारा चट्टानों का टूटना या चटकना एक प्रकार की जैव यांत्रिक प्रक्रिया है। वहीं वनस्पतियों के सड़ने से निर्मित ह्यूमिक अम्ल द्वारा चट्टान के कुछ पदार्थों का क्षालन और चट्टान का कमजोर होकर टूट जाना जैव-रासायनिक अपक्षय है।

Types of weathering: -

Three types of weathering are described based on the cause of rock breakage: physical, chemical, and biological weathering.

Physical Weathering: -

Physical weathering or mechanical weathering is the weathering in which there is no chemical change in the process of breaking of rocks, but the rocks are broken by factors such as heat pressure. It also has many types -

Mechanical weathering in the presence of water.

Weathering by salt.

Sunburn weathering.

Weathering by pressure release.

Stress abrasion weathering.

Chemical Weathering: -

Chemical weathering involves changing the chemical properties of rocks and their weakening and breaking. This includes processes such as oxidation, carbonisation, hydration, and siliconation.

Biological Weathering: -

Biological factors are sometimes seen as contributory factors to mechanical and chemical weathering.

For example, the breaking or cracking of rocks by expanding the roots of trees is a type of biomechanical process. At the same time, the erosion of some substances of rock by humic acid created by rotting of vegetation and weakening and breaking of rock is biochemical weathering.

अपक्षय को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक :-

चट्टान की संरचना :-

चट्टानों की सभी भौतिक एवं रासायनिक विशेषतायें संरचना के अन्तर्गत सम्मिलित की जाती हैं जैसे-चट्टानों की कठोरता व खनिज संरचना। चट्टानों के भौतिक गुण व खनिज संरचना यह निर्धारित करती हैं कि वे अपक्षय से किस प्रकार से प्रभावित होंगे। उदाहरण के रूप में रंध्रयुक्त तथा घुलनशील खनिजों वाली चट्टानों में रासायनिक अपक्षय की प्रक्रिया अतिशीघ्र होती है। चट्टानों की परत की स्थिति भी अपक्षय की सक्रियता को प्रभावित करती है। जिन चट्टानों में परतों की लम्बवत् स्थिति होती है उनमें विघटन तथा वियोजन की क्रियाएँ शीघ्र होती है जबकि क्षैतिज स्थिति वाले चट्टानों के परतों में अपक्षय अतिशीघ्र नहीं हो पाता।

जलवायु :-

जलवायु में अन्तर के कारण भी अपक्षय में पर्याप्त अंतर देखने को मिलता है। दूसरे शब्दों में, अपक्षय की दर तथा प्रकार तापमान व आर्द्रता द्वारा नियंत्रित होती है। यान्त्रिक या भौतिक अपक्षय ठण्डी जलवायु एवं मरुभूमि प्रदेशों में अधिक होता है जबकि रासायनिक अपक्षय गर्म तथा आर्द्र जलवायु में अधिक प्रभावी है।

स्थलाकृति :-

अपक्षय की प्रक्रिया स्थलाकृति की संरचना से भी प्रभावित होती है। मिट्टी का मोटा आवरण कम उच्चावच वाले क्षेत्रों में यान्त्रिक अपक्षय को कम करता है। किसी क्षेत्र में जल का प्रवाह रासायनिक अपक्षय को तीव्र करता है। स्थलाकृतियों का तीव्र ढाल भी अपक्षय की क्रिया को प्रभावित करता है।

प्राकृतिक वनस्पति :-

वनस्पति से आच्छादित क्षेत्रों में अपक्षय सीमित होता है। मरुभूमि वनस्पति के अभाव में अपक्षय से सीधे प्रभावित होती है। वनस्पति की जड़ें चट्टानों को संगठित रखती हैं जिससे अपक्षय का प्रभाव न्यून होता है किन्तु ये जड़ें चट्टानों को विखण्डित कर उसमें दरार भी उत्पन्न करती हैं जिससे चट्टानों में विखण्डन होता है। अतः प्राकृतिक वनस्पति अपक्षय के अवरोधक के साथ कारक भी है।

Factors affecting weathering: -

Rock composition: -

All physical and chemical characteristics of rocks are included in the structure such as hardness and mineral composition of rocks. The physical properties and mineral composition of rocks determine how they will be affected by weathering. For example, the process of chemical weathering in rocks with porous and soluble minerals is rapid. The condition of the rock layer also affects the activation of weathering. The rocks in which the layers are in a vertical position have disintegration and dissociation activity quickly, whereas the horizontal layers of rocks do not have weathering at the earliest.

Climate :-

Substantial differences in weathering are also seen due to differences in climate. In other words, the rate and type of weathering are controlled by temperature and humidity. Mechanical weathering is more prevalent in cold climate and desert regions while chemical weathering is more effective in hot and humid climate.

Topography: -

The process of weathering is also influenced by the structure of the topography. The thick covering of the soil reduces mechanical weathering in areas with less relief. The flow of water in an area intensifies chemical weathering. The rapid gradient of the topography also affects the weathering.

Natural Vegetation: -

Weathering is limited in areas covered by vegetation. Desertification is directly affected by weathering in the absence of vegetation. The roots of the vegetation keep the rocks organized, which reduces the impact of weathering, but these roots disintegrate the rocks and also cause cracks in them, causing fragmentation in the rocks. Hence natural vegetation is also a factor with inhibition of weathering.

अपरदन :-

अपरदन वह प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया है, जिसमें चट्टानों का विखंडन और परिणामस्वरूप निकले ढीले पदार्थों का जल, पवन, इत्यादि प्रक्रमों द्वारा स्थानांतरण होता है। अपरदन के प्रक्रमों में वायु, जल तथा हिमनद और सागरीय लहरें प्रमुख हैं।

समुद्रतट पर लहरों और ज्वारभाटा की क्रिया के कारण पृथ्वी के भाग टूटकर समुद्र में विलीन होते जाते हैं। मिट्टी अथवा कोमल चट्टानों के अलावा कड़ी चट्टानों का भी इन क्रियाओं से धीरे धीरे अपक्षय होता रहता है। वर्षा और तुषार भी इस क्रिया में सहायक होते हैं। वर्षा के जल में घुली हुई गैसों की रासायनिक क्रिया के फलस्वरूप, कड़ी चट्टानों का अपक्षय होता है। ऐसा जल भूमि में घुसकर अधिक विलेय पदार्थों के कुछ अंश को भी घुला लेता है और इस प्रकार अलग्न हुए पदार्थों को बहा ले जाता है।

वर्षा, पिघली हुई ठोस बर्फ और तुषार निरंतर भूमि का क्षरण करते हैं। इस प्रकार टूटे हुए अंश नालों या छोटी नदियों से बड़ी नदियों में और इनसे समुद्र में पहुँचते रहते हैं।

नदियों का अथवा अन्य बहता हुआ जल किनारों तथा जल की भूमि को काटकर, मिट्टी को ऊँचे स्थानों से नीचे की ओर बहा ले जाता है। ऐसी मिट्टी बहुत बड़े परिणाम में समुद्र तक पहुँच जाती है और समुद्र पाटने का काम करती है। समुद्र में गिरनेवाले जल में मिट्टी के सिवाय विभिन्न प्रकार के घुले हुए लवण भी होते हैं।

शुष्क प्रांतों में, जहाँ वनस्पति से ढंकी नहीं होती, वायु अपार बालुकाराशि एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान को ले जाती है। इस प्रकार सहारा मरुभूमि की रेत, एक ओर सागर पार सिसिली द्वीप तक और दूसरी ओर नाइजीरिया के समुद्र तट तक, पहुँच जाती है। वायु द्वारा उड़ाया हुआ बालू ढूहों अथवा ऊँची चट्टानों के कोमल भागों को काटकर उनकी आकृति में परिवर्तन कर देता है। जल में बहा हुआ पदार्थ सदा ऊँचे स्थान से नीचे को ही जाता है, किंतु वायु द्वारा उड़ाई हुई मिट्टी नीचे स्थान से ऊँचे स्थानों को भी जा सकती है।

गतिशील हिम जिन चट्टानों पर से होकर जाता है उनका क्षरण करता है और इस प्रकार मुक्त हुए पदार्थ को अपने साथ लिए जाता है। वायु तथा नदियों के कार्य की तुलना में, ध्रुव प्रदेश को छोड़कर पृथ्वी के अन्य भागों में, हिम की क्रिया अल्प होती है।

Erosion: -

Erosion is a natural process in which the fragmentation of rocks and the resulting loose material is transferred by processes of water, wind, etc. Wind, water and glacial and oceanic waves are prominent in erosion processes.

Due to the action of waves and tides on the beach, parts of the earth break and merge in the sea. Apart from clay or soft rocks, hard rocks also undergo weathering slowly. Rain and frost are also helpful in this activity. Due to the chemical reaction of gases dissolved in rainwater, hard rocks undergo weathering. Such water enters the ground and dissolves some of the more soluble substances and thus dissolves the dissolved substances.

Rain, molten solid snow and frost constantly erode the land. In this way, the broken parts keep reaching from the drains or small rivers to the big rivers and from them to the sea.

The rivers or other flowing waters cut off the edges and land of water, the soil is carried downstream from high places. Such soil reaches the sea in a very big result and works to bridge the sea. The water falling into the sea contains various dissolved salts other than soil.

In arid provinces, where vegetation is not covered, the air carries immense sand from one place to another. Thus the sand of the Sahara desert reaches the island of Sicily on one side and the coast of Nigeria on the other. Sand blown by air cuts the soft parts of the rocks or high rocks and changes their shape. The matter flowing in the water always goes from the top to the bottom, but the soil which is blown by air can also go from the bottom to the high places.

The moving ice erodes the rocks it passes through and thus carries the released material with it. Compared to the work of air and rivers, except in Dhruv Pradesh, the activity of snow is less in other parts of the earth.

समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड :-
कई बार यह माना गया है कि हम जिस ब्रह्माण्ड में रहते हैं, ठीक वैसा ही एक और ब्रह्माण्ड मौजूद है जहाँ आपकी और हमारी मौजूदगी विद्यमान हो सकती है जैसे कि यहाँ है।
ज्यादातर वैज्ञानिक समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड के बात को नकारते हैं। लेकिन कई हैं जो इस सिद्धांत को मानते हैं एवं इसपर शोध कर रहे हैं।
अंतरिक्ष इतना बड़ा है कि यहाँ कई पृथ्वी जैसे ग्रह मिले हैं। कई खगोल वैज्ञानिक इस बात पर शोध कर रहे हैं कि इन ग्रहों पर जीवन है या नहीं या फिर जीवन होने की कितनी सम्भावना है।
ऐसा अनुमान लगाया गया है कि अंतरिक्ष में अनगिनत ब्रह्माण्ड हैं जहाँ अनगिनत तारे, सौर मंडल, ग्रह आदि मौजूद हैं।
उसी के हिसाब से यह अनुमान लगाया गया कि जैसे पृथ्वी पर हालात हैं और घटनाएं घटित होती हैं, उसी प्रकार समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड में किसी अन्य ग्रह पर इसी प्रकार की घटना हो रही होगी।

Parallel Universe: -
Many times it has been assumed that the universe in which we live, there exists another universe where you and our presence can exist as it is here.
Most scientists reject the talk of a parallel universe. But there are many who follow this theory and are researching it.
Space is so big that many Earth-like planets have been found here. Many astronomers are researching whether there is life on these planets or whether there is a possibility of life.
It has been estimated that there are countless universe in space where there are countless stars, solar system, planets etc.
Accordingly, it has been speculated that just as there are conditions on Earth and events happen, a similar event would be happening on another planet in the parallel universe.

समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड का सिद्धांत (Concept of Parallel Universe) :-
हम सब यह बात जानते हैं कि 13.7 बिलियन साल पहले ब्रह्माण्ड एक छोटे से बिंदु से शुरू हुआ था। बिग बैंग थ्योरी के अनुसार गुरुत्वाकर्षण दबाव के कारण यह बिंदु बढ़ता गया एवं तीन आयामी भाग में फैलता गया – जिस रूप में आज ब्रह्माण्ड विद्यमान है। फिर तारों, आकाशगंगाओं, ग्रहों आदि का निर्माण हुआ।
इसी के आधार पर यह प्रश्न उठता है कि क्या हम लोग अंतरिक्ष में अकेले हैं? हमारे पास आज कि जो तकनिकी है, उसके आधार पर यह सब खोज कर पाना बहुत मुश्किल है। कई खगोल वैज्ञानिक आज भी इस शोध में लगे हुए हैं कि किस प्रकार परजीवी ग्रह के प्राणियों से संपर्क साधा जाये।
वैज्ञानिक ऐसा मानते हैं कि प्रकाश की तीव्र गति होने के कारण हम एक सीमा के अनुसार ही चीजें देख पाते हैं, अतः ज्यादातर चीजें हमारे दृश्य से परे है।

Concept of Parallel Universe: -
We all know that the universe started from a small point 13.7 billion years ago. According to the Big Bang Theory, this point increased due to gravitational pressure and spread in three-dimensional part - the form in which the universe exists today. Then stars, galaxies, planets etc. were formed.
Based on this, the question arises whether we are alone in space? Based on the technology that we have today, it is very difficult to find it all. Many astrophysicists are still engaged in research on how to interact with the creatures of the parasitic planet.
Scientists believe that due to the rapid speed of light, we are able to see things according to a limit, so most things are beyond our view.

समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड का इतिहास (History of parallel universe) :-
जब 13.7 अरब साल पहले बिग बैंग घटना हुई थी, ठीक उसी समय से प्रकाश का प्रवाहन शुरू हुआ, अतः 13.7 अरब प्रकाश वर्ष के बाद क्या है – इसके बारे में कोई नहीं जानता। अंतरिक्ष के जिस भाग के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं है उसको Hubble Volume कहा गया है और इस भाग पर शोध चालू है।
ऐसा माना जाता है कि सारे ब्रह्माण्ड एक दूसरे से जुड़े हुए हैं तो कुछ टूट कर नए ब्रह्माण्ड बन गए या फिर कभी दो ब्रह्माण्ड के टकराव से एक नया ब्रह्माण्ड बन गया। इसी आधार पर हो सकता है कि कहीं दूसरे ब्रह्माण्ड में किसी दूसरे ग्रह पर पृथ्वी के समान घटना घट रही हो।
दिवंगत भौतिक वैज्ञानिक स्टीफन हॉकिंग ने सामानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड के बात को स्वीकारा था। मृत्यु से पहले जो उनका रिसर्च पेपर प्रकाशित हुआ था, वह इसी विषय पर था।
इसके बारे में उन्होंने कहा था कि हम इस अंतरिक्ष में इस अनोखे ब्रह्माण्ड के अंतर्गत अकेले नहीं हैं। आगे चलकर इस बात की पुष्टि हो जायगी कि हमारे सामान कई ब्रह्माण्ड विराजमान है।

History of parallel universe: -
When the Big Bang incident occurred 13.7 billion years ago, light began to flow from the same time, so no one knows about what it is after 13.7 billion light years. The part of the space that has no information about it is called Hubble Volume and research on this part is ongoing.
It is believed that all the cosmos are connected to each other, then some broke down to become new cosmos, or else a collision of two universe created a new universe. It may be on this basis that an event similar to the Earth is happening on another planet in another universe.
The late physicist Stephen Hawking accepted the idea of a parallel universe. His research paper which was published before his death, was on this subject.
He said about it that we are not alone in this space under this unique universe. Later on, it will be confirmed that many cosmos are seated like us.

क्या प्राचीन ऋषियों को समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड का ज्ञान था :-
योगवशिष्ट में एक घटना का वर्णन आता है जो अनेकों ब्रह्माण्डो के अस्तित्व पर प्रकाश डालती है।
किसी समय आर्यावर्त क्षेत्र में पद्य नाम का राजा राज्य करता था जिसकी एक पतिव्रता पत्नी लीला थी जो पद्य से बहुत प्यार करती थी। लीला जब भी अपने पति की मृत्यु के बारे में सोचती तो शोकाकुल हो उठती । अंत में लीला ने मां सरस्वती की उपासना की और वरदान प्राप्त किया कि यदि उसके पति की मृत्यु उससे पहले हो जाए तो उनकी अन्तर्चेतना महल में ही रहे , मां सरस्वती ने यह भी आशीर्वाद दिया कि जब तुम चाहो अपने पति से मिल भी सकोगी।
दुर्भाग्य से कुछ समय पश्चात पद्य का देहांत हो गया , लीला ने उनका शरीर महल में ही सुरक्षित रखा और मां सरस्वती का ध्यान किया। मां सरस्वती ने प्रकट होकर कहा – हे ! भद्र शोक करो तुम्हारे पति इस समय यही है परन्तु वे दूसरे सृष्टि में हैं उनसे मिलने के लिए तुम्हें उसी सृष्टि वाले शरीर में जाना होगा।
लीला ने अपना मन एकाग्र किया और उस सृष्टि में प्रवेश किया। लीला ने कुछ क्षण ठहरकर जो दृश्य देखा , उसे देखकर वह बड़ी आश्चर्य चकित हुई क्योंकि उस सृष्टि में महाराज पद्य अभी मात्र 16 वर्ष के नवयुवक थे और एक विस्तृत क्षेत्र में राज्य कर रहे हैं।
उस समय भगवती सरस्वती भी उनके साथ थी , उन्होंने समझाया पुत्री जिस प्रकार केले के तने के अंदर एक के बाद एक परते निकलती जाती हैं वैसे ही सृष्टियों का क्रम है। अपने कथन कि पुष्टि के लिए भगवती सरस्वती लीला को एक और सूक्ष्म सृष्टि में ले गई , जिसमें उनके पति एक ब्राह्मण थे और वो उनकी पत्नी , वहां भी उनके पति की मृत्यु हो चुकी थी और वो कुटिया में रखे शव पर विलाप कर रहीं थी और लीला को उस सृष्टि की सारी स्मृतियां भी याद आ गई कि उस सृष्टि में उनका नाम अरुंधती था। उसी समय एक राजा की सवारी निकली और उन्हें राजसी भोग भोगने की इच्छा हुई , उसी सांसारिक इच्छा के फलस्वरूप उसने लीला का शरीर प्राप्त किया और राजा पद्य को प्राप्त हुई। इसी समय भगवती सरस्वती की प्रेरणा से राजा पद्य ( वहां की सृष्टि के अनुसार) को अंत समय में फिर से पद्य के रूप में राज भोगने की इच्छा जाग उठी , लीला को उसी समय पूर्ववर्ती भोग की इच्छा से प्रेरित किया जिसके फस्वरूप वह भी अपने व्यक्ति शरीर में वापस आ गई और पद्य भी अपने शव में प्रविष्ट हो जी उठे और फिर कुछ सालो राज भोग भोग कर अंत में पुन: मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए। इससे स्पष्ट होता है कि हमारे ऋषि समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड के बारे में जानकारी रखते थे।

It is clear that our sages were aware of the parallel universe.

तो क्या आज के आधुनिक विज्ञान में उठ रही अनेकों ब्रह्माण्डो की अभिधारणा सही है? क्या समानांतर ब्रह्माण्ड का कोई अस्तित्व वास्तव में हो सकता है जिसमें हमारे प्रतिरूप भी मौजूद हों। इस प्रश्न का जवाब तो भविष्य में विज्ञान की उन्नति के साथ ही मिलेगा।

कोरोना वायरस (Corona virus) कई प्रकार के विषाणुओं (वायरस) का एक समूह है जो स्तनधारियों और पक्षियों में रोग उत्पन्न करता है। यह आरएनए वायरस होते हैं। इनके कारण मानवों में श्वास तंत्र संक्रमण पैदा हो सकता है जिसकी गहनता हल्की (जैसे सर्दी-जुकाम) से लेकर अति गम्भीर (जैसे, मृत्यु) तक हो सकती है। गाय और सूअर में इनके कारण अतिसार हो सकता है जबकि इनके कारण मुर्गियों के ऊपरी श्वास तंत्र के रोग उत्पन्न हो सकते हैं। इनकी रोकथाम के लिए कोई टीका (वैक्सीन) या विषाणुरोधी (antiviral) अभी उपलब्ध नहीं है और उपचार के लिए प्राणी की अपने प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली पर निर्भर करता है। अभी तक रोगलक्षणों (जैसे कि निर्जलीकरण या डीहाइड्रेशन, ज्वर, आदि) का उपचार किया जाता है ताकि संक्रमण से लड़ते हुए शरीर की शक्ति बनी रहे।

सार्स-कोव 2 (नोवल कोरोना वायरस) :-
चीन के वुहान शहर से उत्पन्न होने वाला 2019 नोवल कोरोना वायरस और सार्स वायरस दोनों ही Beta corona virus हैं। कोविड-19 वायरस जानवरों से आया है। ज्यादातर लोग जो चीन शहर के केंद्र में स्थित हुआनन सीफ़ूड होलसेल मार्केट में खरीदारी के लिए आते हैं या फिर अक्सर काम करने वाले लोग जो जीवित या नव वध किए गए जानवरों को बेचते थे जो इस वायरस से संक्रमित थे। WHO ने इसका नाम सार्स-कोव 2 (SARS- CoV 2) रखा है।

SARS-Cove 2 (Novel Corona Virus): -

ये बड़े गोलाकार कणों के रूप में होते हैं। वायरस के कणों का व्यास लगभग 120 नैनोमीटर होता है। वायरस कैप्सूल में एक लिपिड बाईलेयर होती है। जहां मेम्ब्रेन(झिल्ली), आवरण, और स्पाइक संरचनात्मक प्रोटीन डले होते हैं। कोरोना वायरस का एक उपसमूह (विशेष रूप से Beta corona virus उपसमूह A के सदस्य) हेमग्लगुटिनिन एस्टरेज़ नामक एक छोटा स्पाइक जैसी सतह भी प्रोटीन है।

कैप्सूल के अंदर न्यूक्लियोकैप्सिड होते है, जो कि न्यूक्लियोकैप्सिड (एन) प्रोटीन की कई प्रतियों से बनता है। ये RNA युक्त वायरस होते हैं। जब यह होस्ट सेल के बाहर होता है तो लिपिड बाईलेयर कैप्सूल, झिल्ली प्रोटीन और न्यूक्लियोकैप्सिड वायरस की रक्षा करते हैं।

Pathology: -

इस विषाणु में एकल आरएनए युक्त जीनोम पाया जाता है। कोरोनावायरस के जीनोम का आकार लगभग 27 से 34 किलोबेस तक होता है।

Genome: -

A single RNA-containing genome is found in this virus. The genome of the coronavirus ranges in size from 27 to 34 kilobases.

कोविड 19 से बचाव :-

जितना हो सके, घर पर रहें और यात्रा या सार्वजनिक कार्य करने से बचें।

अपने हाथ साबुन और गरम पानी से अक्सर धोते रहें।

अपने हाथ बिना धोये अपनी आँखों, नाक और मुंह को न छूएँ।

इसके अलावा समाज से दूरी बनाना भी एक अच्छी रणनीति है।

पठार (Plateau) :-
भूमि पर मिलने वाले द्वितीय श्रेणी के स्थल रुपों में पठार अत्यधिक महत्वपूर्ण हैं और सम्पूर्ण धरातल के 26% भाग पर इनका विस्तार पाया जाता हैं। धरातल का विशिष्ट स्थल रूप जो अपने आस पास की जमींन से प्रयाप्त ऊँचा होता है,और जिसका ऊपरी भाग चौड़ा और सपाट हो पठार कहलाता है। सागर तल से इनकी ऊचाई 600 मीटर तक होती हैं।
Plateau :-
Plateaus are very important in the second class land forms found on land and they are found on 26% of the total land surface. The typical land form of the ground, which is sufficiently high from the ground around it, and whose upper part is wide and flat, is called a plateau. Their elevation is up to 600 meters above sea level.
पठारों की उत्पत्ति के कारक :-
भू-गर्भिक हलचलें, जिनके कारण कोई समतल भू-भाग अपने समीप वाले धरातल से ऊपर उठ जाता हैं।
एसी हलचलें जिनके कारण समीपवर्ती भू-भाग नीचे बैठ जाते हैं तथा कई समतल भाग ऊपर रह जाता हैं।
ज्वालामुखी-क्रिया के समय निकले लावा के जमाव से समतल तथा अपेक्षाकृत उठे हुए भाग का निर्माण होता हैं।
पर्वतों के निर्माण के समय किसी समीपवर्ती भाग के अधिक ऊपर न उठ पाने के कारण भी पठार का निर्माण होता हैं।
Factors of origin of plateaus :-
Geostatic movements, due to which a flat terrain rises above the ground adjacent to it.
AC movements that cause the adjacent terrain sit down and many flat terrains remain.
The formation of a flat and relatively raised part is formed by the deposition of lava released during volcanic action.

At the time of the construction of the mountains, a plateau is also formed due to not being able to rise above any adjacent part.

पर्वत पादीय पठार :-

उच्च पर्वतों की तलहटी से स्थित पठारों को पीडमाण्ट, पर्वतपादीय या गिरीपद पठार कहते हैं।

तटीय पठार :-

ये सागर तटीय क्षेत्रों पर स्थित पठार होते हैं। भारत के पश्चिमी और पूर्वी तटों पर भी एसे पठार देखे जा सकते हैं। इसका प्रमुख उदाहरण तमिलनाडु राज्य में स्थित 'कोरोमंडल'पठार है।

गुम्बदाकार पठार :-

पृथ्वी की आन्तरिक हलचलों के कारण जब किसी भाग में गुम्बद के आकार का उभार हो जाता हैं। इन्हे गुम्बदाकार पठार कहतें हैं।

महाद्वीपीय पठार :-

जब पृथ्वी के भीतर जमा लैकोलिथ भू-पृष्ठ के अपरदन के कारण सतह पर उभर आते हैं। तब महाद्वीपीय पठार बनते हैं।

जलीय पठार :-

नदियों द्वारा सागरों में पहुचने से पूर्व उनके द्वारा बहाकर लाए गए निक्षेपों के जमाव से एसे पठार बनते हैं।

वायव्य पठार :-

इन पठारो का निर्माण वायु के परिवहन तथा निक्षेपण के परिणाम स्वरूप होता है।

हिमानी पठार :-

पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में कई भु-भाग हिमानी क्रिया से अपरदन तथा निक्षेपण के कारण पठारों में बदल गए हैं।

उस्यन्त पठार :-

ऐसे पठारों की उत्पत्ति ज्वालामुखी उद्दगार के समय लावा के धरातल पर फैलकर जमा हो जाने के कारण होती हैं।

Inter Mountain Plateau: -

The formation of such plateaus is completed with the formation of high mountain ranges as a result of the internal forces of the geology and they are surrounded by mountains from all around.

Mountain Plateau: -

The plateaus situated at the foothills of the higher mountains are known as the Peedmont, Mountains or Giripad plateau.

Coastal plateau: -

These seas are plateaus on the coastal areas. Similar plateaus can also be seen on the western and eastern coasts of India. A prime example of this is the 'Coromandel' Pathar located in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Dome plateau: -

Due to the internal movements of the earth, when a part of a dome shape emerges. These are called domed plateaus.

Continental plateau :-

When the laccoliths deposited within the earth emerge on the surface due to the erosion of the surface. Then continental plateaus are formed.

Aquatic plateau: -

The plateaus are formed by the deposition of deposits brought by them before the rivers reach the seas.

Aerial plateau: -

These plateaus are formed as a result of air transport and deposition.

Himani Plateau: -

In the mountainous areas, many parts have turned into plateaus due to erosion and deposition by glacial action.

Usyant Plateau: -

The origin of such plateaus is due to the spread of lava on the ground during volcanic eruption.

विश्व का सबसे ऊंचा पठार पामीर का पठार है। इसको दुनिया की छत भी कहते हैं।

वेसक(वैशाख) एक उत्सव है जो विश्व भर के बौद्धों एवं अधिकांश हिन्दुओं द्वारा मनाया जाता है। यह उत्सव बुद्धपूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है जिस दिन गौतम बुद्ध का जन्म और निर्वाण हुआ था तथा इसी दिन उन्हें बोधि की प्राप्ति हुई थी। विभिन्न देशों के पंचांग के अनुसार बुद्धपूर्णिमा अलग-अलग दिन पड़ता है।
विभिन्न देशों में इस पर्व के अलग-अलग नाम हैं। उदाहरण के लिए, हांग कांग में इसे बुद्ध जन्मदिवस कहा जाता है, इंडोनेशिया में 'वैसक' दिन कहते हैं, सिंगापुर में 'वेसक दिवस' और थाईलैण्ड में 'वैशाख बुच्छ दिन' कहते हैं।

Vesak (Vaishakh) is a festival celebrated by Buddhists and most Hindus around the world. This festival is celebrated on Buddha Purnima on the day Gautama Buddha was born and nirvana and on this day he attained Bodhi. According to the almanac of different countries, Buddha Purnima falls on different days.

पर्वत (Mountains) :-
पृथ्वी की सतह पर पर्वत द्वितीयक क्रम (second order) के उच्चावच हैं। पर्वत में एक संकुचित शिखर, तीव्र ढाल, तथा एक विस्तृत आधार पाया जाता है।
पर्वत निकटवर्ती क्षेत्रों की तुलना में 1000 मी० से भी अधिक ऊँचे होते हैं तथा जिनकी ऊंचाई 1000 मी0 से कम होती हैं वे पहाड़ी कहलाती हैं।
एक ही काल में निर्मित एक संकरी पेटी में विस्तृत पर्वत एवं पहाडियों के क्रम को पर्वत श्रेणी (Mountain range) कहलाती हैं।
भिन्न-भिन्न कालों में निर्मित विभिन्न समांतर श्रेणियों व एकाकी पर्वत मिलकर पर्वत श्रंखला (Mountain Chain) बनाते हैं।
विभिन्न युगों में निर्मित पर्वत व पहाडियों के समूह को पर्वत समूह (Mountain group )कहा जाता हैं।
कई पर्वत समूहों व पर्वत तंत्र के समूह को कार्डिलेरा (Cordillera) कहा जाता हैं जैसे-उत्तरी अमेरिका का प्रशांत तटीय पर्वतीय भाग रॉकी कार्डिलेरा का एक प्रमुख उदाहरण हैं।

Mountains :-

Mountains on the surface of the Earth are second-order reliefs. The mountain has a narrow peak, steep slope, and a broad base.

Mountains are more than 1000 meters higher than the adjacent areas and whose height is less than 1000 meters are called hills.

The sequence of broad mountains and hills in a narrow box constructed at the same time is called a mountain range.

The different parallel ranges and isolated mountains formed in different periods form a mountain chain.

The group of mountains and hills formed in different eras is called mountain group.

Many mountain groups and mountain systems are called the Cardillera, such as the Pacific coastal mountains of North America are a prime example of the Rocky Cardillera.

वलित या मोड़दार पर्वत (Fold Mountains) :- पृथ्वी की आंतरिक शक्तियों द्वारा जब चट्टानों में मोड़ या वलन पड़ जाते हैं तो इन्हें मोडदार या वलित पर्वत कहते हैं।

वलित पर्वत का निर्माण भू- सन्न्तियो (Geosyncline) में होता हैं; जिसे पर्वतों का पालना(Cradle) कहा जाता हैं।भू -सन्न्तियाँ जलपूर्ण वृहद गर्त होती हैं, जिनमें अवसादों का निरन्तर जमाव होने से तली पर बढ़ने वाले भार के कारण उसमें धसाव क्रिया होती हैं। इससे उत्पन्न क्षैतिज बल (संकुचन बल) वलित पर्वत को विकसित करते हैं। चट्टानों में वलन क्रिया द्वारा अपनाति (Anticline) तथा अभिनति (Syncline) का विकास होता हैं। भू- सन्न्तियो में पर्वतों के निर्माण की तीन अवस्थाएँ होती हैं – शैलजनन, पर्वत निर्माण तथा पर्वत विकास की अवस्था।

शैलजनन अवस्था (Lithogenesis) :-

इस अवस्था में भू -सन्न्तियों में अवसादों के जमाव से अवसादी चट्टानों का निर्माण होता हैं।

पर्वत निर्माण अवस्था (Orogenesis) :-

इस अवस्था में भू -सन्न्तियो के अवसादों पर संकुचन बल के प्रभाव से वलन क्रिया द्वारा उनमें मोड़ पड़ने से पर्वत का निर्माण होता हैं।

पर्वत विकास अवस्था (Glyptogenesis) :-

संकुचन बल की अधिक सक्रियता के कारण पर्वतों की ऊंचाई में वृद्धि होती हैं।

वलित पर्वतों का विस्तार संसार में सबसे अधिक पाया जाता हैं।
वलित पर्वत संसार के सर्वोच्च पर्वत हैं। हिमालय पर्वत एक वलित पर्वत हैं।
भारत का अरावली पर्वत संसार का सबसे प्राचीनतम वलित पर्वत हैं।
वलित पर्वतों में जीवाश्म की प्राप्ति होती हैं।
वलित पर्वतों का निर्माण परतदार/अवसादी चट्टानों से होता हैं।
वलित पर्वत चापाकृति/ धनुषाकृति में विकसित होते हैं।
उत्तरी अमेरिका का आप्लेशीयन पर्वत एक वलित पर्वत हैं। जिसमें कोयले का विशाल भंडार पाया जाता हैं।
आस्ट्रेलिया का ग्रेट डिवाइडिंग रेंज प्राचीन मोडदार पर्वत हैं।
विश्व के सभी नवीन मोडदार पर्वतों की उत्पत्ति टर्शियरी युग में हुई हैं।
भारत का हिमालय पर्वतमाला टर्शियरी युग में टेथीज सागर के अवसादों में वलन से विकसित वलित पर्वत माला हैं।
प्लेट विवर्तनिकी के अनुसार हिमालय का निर्माण इंडियन प्लेट के यूरेशियन प्लेट की ओर गतिशीलता का परिणाम हैं।
इंडियन प्लेट 5 cm/Year के दर से यूरेशियन प्लेट की ओर गतिशील हैं यही कारण हैं की हिमालय इस दर से प्रतिवर्ष ऊँचा उठ रहा हैं।
इंडियन प्लेट की गतिशीलता की दिशा उत्तर -पूर्व होने के कारण ही पूर्वी हिमालय की ऊंचाई पश्चिमी हिमालय से अधिक हैं।
उत्तरी अमेरिका का रॉकी, दक्षिण अमेरिका का एंडीज, एशिया का हिमालय, आस्ट्रेलिया का ग्रेट डिवाइडिंग रेंज, अफ्रीका का एटलस, यूरोप का आल्प्स वलित/ मोडदार पर्वत के उदहारण हैं।

Fold Mountains:-

When the rocks are folded or folded by the internal forces of the earth, they are called modar or folded mountains.

The Vallit Mountains are formed in the Geosyncline; What is called the Cradle of the mountains. The geomagnets are watery large troughs, in which the sedimentation action is due to the increased load on the bottom due to the constant deposition of sediments. The horizontal force (contraction force) produced from this develops the mountain of valor. Anticline and syncline develop in the rocks by folding action. There are three stages of construction of mountains in geo-boundaries - rock formation, mountain formation and the stage of mountain development.

Lithogenesis: -

At this stage sedimentary rocks are formed by deposition of sediments in the geomorphic zone.

Orogenesis: -

In this state, due to the force of contraction force on the sediments of the geocenters, the formation of mountain by folding in them by folding action.

Glyptogenesis: -

The height of the mountains increases due to greater activation of the contraction force.

The expansion of the great mountains is the most found in the world.

The Valit Mountains are the highest mountain in the world. The Himalayan mountains are a mountain range.

The Aravali mountains of India are the oldest mountain range in the world.

Fossils are found in the great mountains.

The valleys are formed by flaky / sedimentary rocks.

The Valt Mountains develop in architrave / archery.

The Aplesian Mountains of North America are a mountain. In which huge coal reserves are found.

The Great Dividing Range of Australia is the ancient Moddar Mountains.

All the new modular mountains of the world have their origin in the Tertiary era.

The Himalayan ranges of India are the Valla Parvat Mala developed by folding in the sediments of the Tethys Sea in the Tertiary era.

According to plate tectonics, the formation of the Himalayas is the result of the Indian plate moving towards the Eurasian plate.

The Indian plate is moving towards the Eurasian plate at the rate of 5 cm / year, which is why the Himalayas are rising at this rate every year.

The elevation of the eastern Himalayas is higher than the western Himalayas due to the northeast direction of mobility of the Indian plate.

Rocky North America, the Andes of South America, the Himalayas of Asia, the Great Dividing Range of Australia, the Atlas of Africa, the Alps of Europe are examples of the Vald / Moddar mountains.

ब्लॉक पर्वत (Block Mountains) :-

जब पृथ्वी की आंतरिक शक्तियों के प्रभाव से चट्टानों के मध्य भाग नीचे दब जाता हैं तथा आस -पास के भाग ऊपर उठ जाते हैं तो इस प्रकार का पर्वत भ्रंशोत्थ पर्वत(Block mountain) कहलाता हैं। बीच में धँसे भाग को रिफ्ट घाटी कहते हैं।

जर्मनी में ऊँचे उठे हुए भाग को हॉर्स्ट (Horst) कहते हैं।

भारत का नीलगिरी, पाकिस्तान का Salt Range, जर्मनी का Black Forest, Vosgeg तथा अमेरिका का Sierra Nevada पर्वत block mountain हैं।

अमेरिका का Sierra Nevada पर्वत विश्व की सबसे विस्तृत Block Mountain हैं।

Block Mountains: -

When the central part of the rocks gets buried under the influence of the internal forces of the earth and the surrounding parts rise up, this type of mountain is called Block mountain. The sunken section in the middle is called Rift Valley.

In Germany, the elevated part is called Horst.

Nilgiris of India, Salt Range of Pakistan, Black Forest of Germany, Vosgeg and Sierra Nevada Mountains of America are the block mountains.

America's Sierra Nevada Mountains are the world's largest block mountain.

अवशिष्ट पर्वत (Residual Mountains) :-

ये पर्वत एक लम्बे समय में अपरदन की प्रक्रिया के परिणाम स्वरूप निर्मित होते हैं। इन पर्वत को अवशिष्ट, अनाच्छादित, Relict Mountain के नाम से जाना जाता हैं।

भारत में इस प्रकार के पर्वत हैं – सतपुड़ा व नीलगिरीकी पहाड़ियां, राजमहल की पहाड़ियां, पारसनाथ की पहाड़ियां, विन्ध्याचल की पहाड़ियां।

Residual Mountains: -

These mountains are formed as a result of erosion process in a long time. These mountains are known as residual, uncharted, Relict Mountain.

There are such types of mountains in India - Satpura and Nilgiri hills, Rajmahal hills, Parasnath hills, Vindhyachal hills.

ज्वालामुखीय एवं संचित पर्वत (Accumulated Mountains) :-

इस प्रकार के पर्वतों का निर्माण ज्वालामुखी से निकलने वाले लावा के साथ विभिन्न पदार्थो के जमाव से होता हैं। इसके अलावा रेगिस्तान में बालू के स्तूप भी एक प्रकार के संचित पर्वतों की श्रेणी में आते हैं।

भारत में अंडमान-निकोबार द्वीप समूह में बैरन द्वीपऔर नरकोडम द्वीप पर इस प्रकार के पर्वत पाए जाते हैं।

विश्व का सबसे ऊँचा ज्वालामुखीय पर्वत चिली का एकांकागुआ पर्वत।

Accumulated Mountains: -

These types of mountains are formed by the deposition of various substances along with the lava emanating from the volcano. Apart from this, the sand stupas in the desert also fall in a category of accumulated mountains.

Mountains of this type are found in the Andaman-Nicobar Islands in India on Baron Island and Narkodam Island.

ज्वालामुखी (Volcano) :-
ज्वालामुखी एक दरार होता हैं, जिसका सम्बन्ध पृथ्वी के आन्तरिक भाग से होता हैं, जिससे लावा, गैस एवं अन्य खंडमय पदार्थ बाहर निकलते हैं।

Volcano :-

A volcano is a crack, which belongs to the inner part of the Earth, from which lava, gases and other volatile substances come out.

ज्वालामुखी के भाग :- ज्वालामुखी के निम्न भाग होते हैं।

ज्वालामुखी शंकु :-

जब लावा और अन्य पदार्थ ज्वालामुखी छिद्र के चारों तरफ जमा होने लगते है, तब ज्वालामुखी शंकु का निर्माण होता हैं।

ज्वालामुखी छिद्र :-

ज्वालामुखी पर्वत के ऊपर लगभग बीच में एक छिद्र होता हैं, जिसे ज्वालामुखी छिद्र कहते हैं।

ज्वालामुखी नली :-

छिद्र का सम्बन्ध धरातल के नीचे एक पतली नली से होता है जिसे ज्वालामुखी नली कहते हैं।

ज्वालामुखी का मुख :-

जब ज्वालामुखी का छिद्र बड़ा होता हैं,तब उसे ज्वालामुखी का मुख कहते हैं।

Volcanic parts :- Volcanoes have following parts.

Volcanic Cone :-

Volcanic cones form when lava and other substances begin to accumulate around the volcanic cavity.

Volcanic Hole :-

There is a hole almost in the middle above the volcanic mountain, which is called volcanic hole.

Volcanic tube :-

The hole is associated with a thin tube under the ground called a volcanic tube.

The face of the volcano :-

When the volcanic hole is large, then it is called the face of the volcano.

ज्वालामुखीय पदार्थ :-

ज्वालामुखी उद्गार से निकलने वाली गैसों में सर्वाधिक मात्रा (80 प्रतिशत) जलवाष्प की पाई जाती हैं। इसके पश्चात इससे कार्बन डाई ऑक्साइड तथा सल्फर डाई ऑक्साइड गैसों के भी उत्सर्जन होते हैं। ज्वालामुखीय उद्गार से निकलने वाले तरल पदार्थ के रूप में पृथ्वी की तप्त एवं द्रवित चट्टानों की प्रधानता होती हैं जिसे धरातल के अन्दर मैग्मा तथा धरातल के ऊपर लावा कहते हैं। ज्वालामुखीय उदगार से निकलने वाले ठोस पदार्थों में ज्वालामुखीय बम, लैपिली, स्कोरिया, पायरोक्लास्ट तथा प्युमिस की अधिकता होती हैं।

ज्वालामुखीय बम :-

उद्गार के समय निकलने वाले बड़े -बड़े तप्त शिलाखंडो को ज्वालामुखीय बम कहते हैं।

लैपिली :-

उद्गार के समय निकलने वाले मटर के दाने के समान शिलाखंड लैपिली कहलाते हैं।

स्कोरिया :-

उद्गार के समय निकलने वाले कुछ सेमी व्यास के बन्दुक की गोली के समान शिलाखंड स्कोरियो कहलाते हैं।

पायरोक्लास्ट :-

उद्गार के समय निकलने वाले विभिन्न आकार-प्रकार के लावा युक्त तप्त चट्टानी खंड जो सयुक्त रूप से गिरते हैं, वे पायरोक्लास्ट कहलाते हैं।

प्युमिस :-

ज्वालामुखीय उद्गार के समय निकलने वाले झागदार शिलाखंड प्युमिस कहलाते हैं। इन्हें झामक भी कहा जाता हैं।

Volcanic material :-

The maximum amount (80 percent) of the gases released from volcanic eruptions is found in water vapor. After this, it also emits carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide gases. The fluids emanating from volcanic eruptions are dominated by the hot and liquefied rocks of the Earth, called magma within the ground and lava above the ground. Among the solids released from volcanic eruptions are the abundance of volcanic bomb, lapilli, scoria, pyroclast and pumice.

Volcanic Bomb :-

The large hot rocks that emerge at the time of eclipse are called volcanic bombs.

Lapilli :-

Stones similar to peas that emerge at the time of emergence are called lapilli.

Scoria :-

A few cm diameter shot at the time of ejaculation is similar to a pellet shot, called scorchio.

Pyroclast :-

Heavily rocky sections of slag containing various size-shaped lava that emerge at the time of emergence are called pyroclasts.

Pumice :-

The foamy rock blocks originating at the time of volcanic eruption are called pumice. They are also called jhamaq.

सक्रियता के आधार पर ज्वालमुखी तीन प्रकार के होते हैं।

सक्रिय ज्वालामुखी :-

ऐसे ज्वालामुखी जिनके मुख से हमेशा धूल, धुआं, गैस, वाष्प आदि पदार्थ निकलते रहते हैं, उन्हें सक्रिय ज्वालामुखी कहते हैं|सकिय ज्वालामुखी के निम्न कुछ प्रमुख उदाहरण हैं। -

विसूवियस – इटली

मोनलोआ– हवाई द्वीप

एटना– सिसली (इटली)

स्ट्राम्बेली -लेपारी द्वीप

ओजस डेल सालाड़ो- अर्जेंटीना -चिली सीमा पर

Types of Volcanoes: -

There are three types of volcanoes based on activity.

Active volcano :-

Volcanoes that always have dust, smoke, gas, vapor etc. coming out of their mouths are called active volcanoes. The following are some prominent examples of Saki volcano. -

Monloa - Hawaiian Islands

Etna - Sicily (Italy)

Strambley - Lapari Islands

Ojas del Salado - Argentina - On the Chilly border

Dormant volcano: -

All those volcanoes which are likely to erupt in the future. It is called dormant volcano. It is also called as a volcanic volcano.

Quiet or dead volcano: -

The volcano from which the eclipse ends is called a calm or dead volcano.

ज्वालामुखीय स्थलाकृतिया :-
उदगार से निकलने वाले विविध पदार्थो के जमाव से दो प्रकार की स्थलाकृतिया विकसित होती हैं।
आंतरिक स्थलाकृतिया :-
इन स्थलाकृतिया में बैथोलिथ, लैकोलिथ, फैकोलिथ, लोपोलिथ, सिल, शीट व डायक।
बाह्य स्थलाकृतिया :-
इन स्थलाकृतिया में राख शंकु, मिश्रित शंकु, परिपोषित शंकु,अम्लीय तथा क्षारीय शंकु महत्व पूर्ण होते हैं।

क्रेटर (Crater) :-
ज्वालामुखी के मुख को क्रेटर कहते हैं जिससे उदगार होता हैं|क्रेटर के विस्तृत रूप को काल्डेरा(Caldera) कहा जाता हैं।
गीजर (Geyser) :-
ज्वालामुखी क्षेत्र में पाए जाने वाले गर्म जल के फव्वारे, जिनसे निश्चत समय के अन्तराल पर रुक -रुक कर जल बाहर आता हैं ऐसे फव्वारे को गीजर कहा जाता हैं। आइसलैंड में Great Geyser & Grand Geyser पाए जाते हैं; जिनसे 30 मिनट के अन्तराल पर गर्म जल बाहर आता है।
गर्म सोता (Hot spring) :-
जब किसी धरातलीय मुख या छिद्र से गर्म जल अनवरत बाहर निकलता हैं तो उसे गर्म सोता या चश्मा कहा जाता हैं। बिहार में राजगीर तथा हिमाचल के मणिकर्ण में गर्म जल के झरने मिलते हैं।
धुँआरा (Fumaroles) :-
भूपटल पर पाए जाने वाले ज्वालामुखीय छिद्र जिनसे गैस और धुँआ निकलता हैं उसे धुँआरा( Fumaroles) कहते हैं। इटली में पाए जाने वाले धुँआरा( Fumaroles) से सल्फ़र निकलता हैं इसे सोल्फ्तारा कहा जाता हैं।

Volcanic topography: -

Two types of topography develop from the accumulation of various substances originating from the abdomen.

Internal Topography: -

These topography include batholiths, laccoliths, faecoliths, lopoliths, sills, sheets, and dikes.

External topography: -

In these topography, ash cones, mixed cones, matured cones, acidic and alkaline cones are important.

Crater: -

The face of the volcano is called the crater from which the outgrowth occurs. The expanded form of the crater is called Caldera.

Geyser: -

Geysers are called hot water fountains found in volcanic area, from which the water comes out after intermittent period of time. Great Geyser & Grand Geyser are found in Iceland; From which the hot water comes out at the interval of 30 minutes.

Hot spring :-

When hot water comes out continuously from any surface or hole, it is called hot fountain or glasses. Hot water springs are found in Rajgir in Bihar and Manikarna in Himachal.

Fumaroles: -

The volcanic holes found on the crust from which gas and smoke comes out are called Fumaroles. Sulfurs are produced from the fumaroles found in Italy, it is called solftara.

भूकंप (Earthquake) :-
भू-पटल में पृथ्वी की आन्तरिक और बाह्य शक्तियों के प्रभाव से उत्पन्न कम्पन(Oscillation) भूकंप कहलाता हैं।भूकंप का अध्ययन भूकंप विज्ञान(Seismology) के अंतर्गत किया जाता हैं।भूकंपीय तरंगो का अंकन भूकम्प्लेखी तरंगों द्वारा किया जाता हैं। पृथ्वी के आन्तरिक भाग में भूकंप के उत्पत्ति केंद्र को भूकंप का मूल(Focus) कहा जाता हैं। भूकंप के ऊपर स्थित धरातलीय बिंदु अधिकेन्द्र(Epicentre) कहलाता हैं।

Earthquake :-

Oscillation earthquakes resulting from the effects of the Earth's internal and external forces are called earthquakes. Earthquakes are studied under Seismology. Seismic waves are characterized by seismic waves. The origin of the earthquake in the inner part of the Earth is called the focus of the earthquake. The ground point above the earthquake is called Epicentre.

भूकंप के कारण :-

भूकंप की उत्पत्ति के कई आंतरिक और बाह्य कारण हैं।

ज्वालामुखीय क्रिया के दौरान भूगर्भ से निकलने वाले वाष्प तथा मैग्मा द्वारा धरातल पर धक्का लगाने से भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं।

पृथ्वी की आन्तरिक शक्तियों के कारण भूपटल की चट्टानों में भ्रंशन(Faulting) तथा वलन क्रिया(Folding)।

भूगर्भशास्त्री एच. एफ. रीड के अनुसार पृथ्वी की आन्तरिक चट्टानों के रबड़ के समान फैलने और सिकुड़ने से भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं।इसे Elastic Rebound Theory कहा जाता हैं।

पर्वतीय ढालों पर वर्षा के प्रभाव से बड़े -बड़े चट्टानों के खिसकने(Landslide) के कारण भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं।

आधुनिक प्लेट विवर्तनिकी सिद्धांत के अनुसार पृथ्वी की कठोर प्लेटों के गतिशीलता (Mobility) के कारण भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं।

मानव द्वारा खनन, बांधो के निर्माण, परमाणु विस्फोट इत्यादि मानवीय कारणों से भी भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं।

Causes of Earthquake :-

There are many internal and external causes of earthquake origin.

Earthquakes are caused by vapor and magma pushing the ground during the volcanic action.

Faulting and folding in the rocks of the crust due to the internal forces of the Earth.

Geologist H. F. According to Reid, earthquakes are caused by the spreading and shrinking of the internal rocks of the earth like rubber. This is called Elastic Rebound Theory.

Earthquakes are caused by landslide of large rocks due to the effect of rainfall on the mountain slopes.

According to modern plate tectonics theory, earthquakes are caused by mobility of hard plates of the earth.

Earthquakes are also caused by human reasons like mining, construction of dams, nuclear explosions etc.

सम- भूकंप रेखा (Isoseismal) :- समान भूकंपीय तीव्रता वाले स्थानों को मिलाने वाली रेखा सम-भूकंप रेखा कहलाती हैं।

सह- भूकंप रेखा (Homoseismal) :- समान समय पर उत्पन्न होने वाली भूकंपीय तरंगों के स्थान को मिलाने वाली रेखा सह-भूकंप रेखा कहलाती हैं।

सम- सह- भूकंप रेखा (Co-seismal) :- धरातल पर समान भूकंपीय तीव्रता तथा एक ही समय उत्पन्न होने वाले भूकंपीय स्थानों को मिलाने वाली रेखा सम-सह-भूकंपीय रेखा कहलाती हैं।

Seismic Lines :-

Isoseismal :- The line joining places of similar seismic intensity is called the even-seismic line.

Homoseismal :- The line joining the location of seismic waves originating at the same time is called the co-earthquake line.

Co-seismal line :- The line joining the same seismic intensity on the ground and the seismic locations arising at the same time is called the even-cum-seismic line.

भूकंपीय तरंगें (Seismic waves) :-

जब भूकंप केंद्र से भूकंप शुरू होता हैं तो इस केंद्र से भूकंपीय लहरें उठने लगती हैं तथा सर्व प्रथम भूकंप अधिकेन्द्र पर पहुँचती हैं। भूकंपीय लहरों को तीन भागों में विभाजित किया जाता हैं।

प्राथमिक तरंगें (P-wave) :-

प्राथमिक तरंगें भूपटल पर सबसे पहले उत्पन्न होती हैं तथा इनकी औसत गति 8 से 14 किमी/सैकंड होती हैं। चूँकि इसकी गति सबसे अधिक होती हैं इसलिए धरातल पर यह सबसे पहले पहुँचती हैं। ये तरंगे ध्वनि के समान होती हैं तथा एक- दूसरे का धक्का देते हुए आगे चलती हैं। ये तरंगे ठोस, द्रव तथा गैसीय पदार्थो में यात्रा कर सकती हैं।

द्वितीयक तरंगें (S-wave) :-

ये तरंगें केवल ठोस माध्यम में ही गमनशील हैं। ये तरंगे प्रकाश तरंगों के समान होती हैं। इनके अणुओं की गति समकोण पर होती हैं। ये तरंगे प्राथमिक तरंगो के बाद उपन्न होती हैं क्योकि ये तरंगे तरल पदार्थो से होकर नहीं गुजर पाती इसलिए सागरों में जाकर विलुप्त हो जाती हैं। इन तरंगों की गति 5-6 किमी / सेकंड होती हैं।

धरातलीय तरंगें (L-wave) :-

ये तरंगे धरातल के समीप उत्पन्न होती हैं इसलिए ये सबसे अधिक खतरनाक हैं इनका वेग 3 किमी /सेकंड होता हैं।

Primary waves (P-wave) :-

Primary waves originate first on the crust and have an average speed of 8 to 14 km / s. Since it has the highest speed, it reaches the ground first. These waves are similar to sound and move forward pushing each other. These waves can travel in solid, liquid and gaseous substances.

Secondary waves (S-wave) :-

These waves are only moving in a solid medium. These waves are similar to light waves. Their molecules move at right angles. These waves arise after the primary waves because these waves do not pass through the liquids and therefore go extinct in the oceans. The speed of these waves is 5-6 km / s.

Surface waves (L-wave) :-

These waves originate near the ground, so they are the most dangerous, they have a velocity of 3 km / s.

रिक्टर स्केल :-

इस स्केल का निर्माण अमेरिकी भूगर्भशास्त्री Charles Francis Richter ने 1935 में किया था। यह भूकंप के समय मुक्त होने वाली उर्जा के मापन पर आधरित हैं। इस भूकंप मापक में कुल 9 इकाईया हैं इसमें 1 इकाई की तीव्रता 170 ग्राम T.N.T के समतुल्य होती हैं।

मारकेली स्केल :-

इस स्केल का निर्माण इटली के भूकंप शास्त्री मारकेली ने 1931 में किया था|इस पर कुल 12 इकाईया होती हैं तथा इसके द्वारा मापन भूकंप द्वारा होने वाली क्षति के आधार पर किया जाता हैं।

Earthquake intensity :-
There are two scales for measuring earthquakes.
Richter scale :-
This scale was created by American geologist Charles Francis Richter in 1935. It is based on the measurement of energy released during the earthquake. There are a total of 9 units in this earthquake measure with a magnitude of 1 unit equivalent to 170 grams T.N.T.
Markelli Scale :-
This scale was created by Italian seismologist Marcelli in 1931. It has a total of 12 units and measurements are made on the basis of damage caused by the earthquake.

भूकंप के प्रकार :-
भूकंप की गहराई के आधार पर भूकंप तीन वर्गों में विभाजित किया गया हैं।
सामान्य भूकंप- गहराई 25-50 कि.मी होती हैं।
मध्यवर्ती भूकंप- गहराई 50-250 कि.मी होती हैं।
पातालीय भूकंप- गहराई 250-700 कि.मी होती हैं।

Earthquake Type :-
Earthquakes are divided into three classes based on the depth of the earthquake.
Normal earthquake - depths are 25–50 km.
Intermediate earthquake-depths are 50–250 km.

Natives earthquake - depths are 250–700 km.

विश्व के भूकंपीय क्षेत्र(Seismic zone) :-
परि प्रशांत पेटी (Circum pacific belt) :-
प्रशांत महासागर के चारों ओर स्थित क्षेत्र परिप्रशांत क्षेत्र कहलाते हैं। संसार के सर्वाधिक 65% भूकंप इसी क्षेत्र में आते हैं। इस क्षेत्र में भूकंप का कारण वलित पर्वतों की स्थिति, प्लेटों का अपसरण एवं अभिसरण तथा सक्रिय ज्वालामुखी का पाया जाना।
मध्य महाद्वीपीय पेटी (Mid continental belt) :-
मध्य महाद्वीपीय कटिबंध को भूमध्य सागरीय और अल्पाइन हिमालय कटिबंध भी कहा जाता हैं। इस क्षेत्र में संसार के 21 प्रतिशत भूकंप आते हैं। इसी पेटी में हिमालय, आल्पस तथा अफ्रीका के भ्रंश घाटी के सहारे स्थित भूकंपीय क्षेत्र पाए जाते हैं।
मध्य महासागरीय पेटी (Mid oceanic belt) :-
महासागरों के मध्यवर्ती भाग में पाए जाने वाले मध्य सागरीय कटक(Mid-Oceanic Ridge) के पास भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं। अटलांटिक और हिन्द महासागरीय क्षेत्रमें अपसारी प्लेट सीमांत के पास भूकंप की उत्पत्ति होती हैं।

Seismic zone of the world: -
Circum pacific belt: -
The regions around the Pacific Ocean are called mature zones. This region has the highest 65% earthquake in the world. The cause of earthquake in this region is the condition of the valleys, divergence and convergence of plates and the occurrence of active volcanoes.
Mid continental belt: -
The central continental tropics are also called Mediterranean and Alpine Himalayan tropics. 21 percent of the world's earthquakes occur in this region. In this box, seismic zones are found along the Himalayas, Alps and the fault basins of Africa.
Mid oceanic belt: -

Earthquakes originate near the Mid-Oceanic Ridge found in the central part of the oceans. Earthquakes originate near the divergent plate frontier in the Atlantic and Indian Ocean regions.

सुनामी (Tsunami) :-
भूकंपीय तरंगो के कारण महासागरीय जल में उत्पन्न जल तरंगो को जापान में सुनामी (जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ ” बंदरगाही लहरें” हैं) कहा जाता हैं। परिप्रशांत महासागरीय क्षेत्र में सुनामी की अधिकता पाई जाती हैं क्योकि यह ज्वालामुखी और भूकंप का सर्वाधिक संवेदनशील क्षेत्र हैं।
भारत में हिमालय सर्वाधिक भूकंपीय क्षेत्र हैं। भारत को पांच भूकंपीय क्षेत्रों में विभाजित किया गया हैं। भारत में पूना, देहरादून, दिल्ली, मुंबई और कोलकाता में भूकंप मापक केंद्र बनाये गए हैं। भारत का हिमालय क्षेत्र पांचवी भूकंपीय पेटी में रक्खा गया हैं जहाँ भूकंप आने पर अत्यधिक क्षति होने की संभावना हैं।

Tsunami: -
Water waves generated in oceanic waters due to seismic waves are called tsunamis (literally "monkey waves") in Japan. An abundance of tsunamis are found in the Pacific Ocean region as it is the most vulnerable zone of volcanoes and earthquakes.

The Himalayas are the most seismic region in India. India is divided into five seismic zones. Earthquake measuring centers have been built in Poona, Dehradun, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata in India. The Himalayan region of India has been laid in the fifth seismic belt where there is a possibility of excessive damage due to earthquake.

It is celebrated on 3 May every year. In 1991, UNESCO and the United Nations 'Public Information Department' decided to jointly celebrate it. The 'United Nations General Assembly' also announced 'International Journalism Independence Day' on 3 May. The proposal related to this was accepted in 1993 at the 26th session of the UNESCO General Assembly. The purpose of celebrating this day is to give information about the seriousness of various types of violations of freedom of the press.
Its objectives include pruning of publications, imposing fines on them, suspending and discontinuing publications, etc.

प्रत्येक वर्ष ३ मई को मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 1991 में यूनेस्कोऔर संयुक्त राष्ट्र के 'जन सूचना विभाग' ने मिलकर इसे मनाने का निर्णय किया था।'संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा' ने भी '3 मई' को 'अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पत्रकारिता स्‍वतंत्रता दिवस' की घोषणा की थी। यूनेस्को महासम्मेलन के 26वें सत्र में 1993 में इससे संबंधित प्रस्ताव को स्वीकार किया गया था। इस दिन के मनाने का उद्देश्य प्रेस की स्वतंत्रता के विभिन्न प्रकार के उल्लघंनों की गंभीरता के बारे में जानकारी देना है।

चट्टान (Rock) :-
पृथ्वी की उपरी परत भूपटल का निर्माण चट्टान से होता हैं। चट्टान का अध्ययन हम विज्ञान की शैलिकी (Petrology) की शाखा के अन्दर करते हैं। चट्टान भू -पटल पर पाए जाने वाले वे ठोस पदार्थो हैं जिनमे खनिज होते हैं। खनिज प्राकृतिक अवस्था में पाए जाने वाले तत्वों के योग से बने यौगिक होते हैं। खनिजों की एक निश्चित रासायनिक बनावट होती होती हैं जिसे रासायनिक सूत्रों द्वारा व्यक्त किया जा सकता हैं। प्रत्येक खनिज का एक निश्चित भौतिक गुण होता हैं तथा उसमें एक निश्चित आणविक सरंचना पाई जाती हैं। अब तक ज्ञात कुल तत्वों में से केवल 8 तत्व मुख्य है जो भू-पटल के 98% भाग का निर्माण करते हैं। भू -पटल पर सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तत्व ऑक्सीजन हैं।

Rock :-
Earth's crust is formed by rock. We study rock within the branch of petrology of science. Rocks are solids found on the terrain that contain minerals. Minerals are compounds made from the sum of elements found in the natural state. Minerals have a certain chemical texture that can be expressed by chemical formulas. Each mineral has a certain physical property and has a certain molecular structure. Out of the total elements known so far, only 8 elements are the main which make up 98% of the surface. The most important elements on the terrain are oxygen.

चट्टानों का वर्गीकरण(Classification of rocks) :-
चट्टानों को उनके वर्गीकरण के आधार पर तीन भागों में विभाजित किया गया है।
1. आग्नेय चट्टानें।
2. अवसादी चट्टानें।
3. रूपांतरित चट्टानें।

Classification of rocks :-

The rocks are divided into three parts based on their classification.

1. Igneous Rocks.

2. Sedimentary rocks.

3. Metamorphic Rocks.

आग्नेय चट्टानें :-

आग्नेय चट्टानों का निर्माण ज्वालामुखी उदगार के समय भूगर्भ से निकलने वाले लावा के जमकर ठंडा हो जाने के पश्चात होता हैं। आग्नेय चट्टानें पृथ्वी की प्राथमिक चट्टानें हैं क्योकि पृथ्वी पर सबसे पहले इन्ही का निर्माण हुआ हैं। धरातल के अंदर पिघली चट्टानें मैग्मा तथा धरातल की ऊपर द्रवित चट्टानें लावा कहलाती हैं। आग्नेय चट्टानों में धात्विक खनिजों की अधिकता तथा जीवाश्म का अभाव पाया जाता है। आग्नेय चट्टानें जोड़, संधियाँ परत विहीन होती हैं। ग्रेनाइट, बेसाल्ट, ग्रेबो, पेग्माटाइट, डायोराइट आदि आग्नेय चट्टानों के उदहारण हैं। ग्रेनाइट धरातल के अन्दर मैग्मा के जमाव से विकसित रवेदार(Crystlline) आग्नेय चट्टान एवं बेसाल्ट धरातल के ऊपर लावा के जमाव से विकसित अरवेदार आग्नेय चट्टान हैं। ग्रेनाइट तथा इसके कायांतरित रूप नीस का उपयोग इमारती पत्थर के रूप में किया जाता हैं। बेसाल्ट पत्थर का उपयोग सड़क बनाने में किया जाता हैं। बेसाल्ट चट्टानों के क्षरण से काली मिटटी तथा ग्रेनाइट और नीस चट्टानों के क्षरण से लाल मिटटी विकसित होती हैं। सिलिका की मात्रा के आधार पर आग्नेय चट्टानें 3 प्रकार की होती हैं –

अम्लीय चट्टानें - सिलिका 60% से अधिक- जैसे- ग्रेनाइट

क्षारीय चट्टानें -सिलिका 45 से 60% जैसे- बेसाल्ट

अधिक्षारीय चट्टानें - सिलिका 45% से कम जैसे- परिडोटाइट

आंतरिक आग्नेय चट्टानों के निर्माण क्रम में बैथोलिथ, लैकोलिथ, फैकोलिथ, लोपोलिथ, सिल, शीट, तथा डाइक जैसे विविध स्थलरुप विकसित होते हैं।

बैथोलिथ :-

धरातल के अंदर अत्यधिक गहराई पर जमाव से विकसित गुम्बदाकार सरंचना को बैथोलिथ कहा जाता हैं| यूएसए में इदाहो तथा कनाडा का कोस्ट रेंज बैथोलिथ का अच्छा उदाहरण हैं।

लैकोलिथ :-

धरातल के अन्दर परतदार चट्टानों के मध्य मैग्मा के गुम्बदकार जमाव से विकसित संरचना फैकोलिथ कहलाती हैं।

फैकोलिथ :-

धरातल के अन्दर लहरदार (अपनति एवं अभिनति) जमाव से विकसित सरंचना को फैकोलिथ कहते हैं।

लोपोलिथ :-

धरातल के अन्दर किसी बेसिन में मैग्मा के जमाव से विकसित सरंचना को लोपोलिथ कहा जाता हैं।

सिल एवं शीट :-

धरातल के अन्दर परतदार चट्टानों की परतों में मैग्मा के क्षैतिज जमाव से विकसित सरंचना सिल एवं शीट हैं| शीट की मोटाई सिल से कम होती हैं।

डाइक :-

धरातल के अंदर मैग्मा के लम्बवत जमाव से विकसित स्थलरुप डाइक कहलाता हैं।

स्टॉक :-

लघु आकार के बैथोलिथ को जो गुम्बदाकार पाए जाते हैं उन्हें स्टॉक कहा जाता है।

Igneous rocks :-

Igneous rocks are formed at the time of volcanic eruption after the lava emanating from the ground floor has cooled down. Igneous rocks are the primary rocks of the earth because they were first formed on the earth. Melted rocks inside the surface are called magma and lava rocks above the surface are called lava. There is an abundance of metallic minerals and lack of fossils in igneous rocks. The igneous rocks join, the joints are layerless. Examples of igneous rocks are granite, basalt, grebo, pegmatite, diorite, etc. Crystlline are igneous rocks formed from the deposition of magma within the granite plane and arched igneous rocks developed from the deposition of lava above the basalt plane. Granite and its metamorphic form Nees are used as timber. Basalt stone is used in road construction. Black soil develops from the erosion of basalt rocks and red soil develops from erosion of granite and fine rocks. There are 3 types of igneous rocks depending on the amount of silica -

Acidic rocks - silica more than 60% - eg - granite

Alkaline rocks - Silica 45 to 60% eg - Basalt

Overlying rocks - silica less than 45% such as peridotite

In the formation sequence of internal igneous rocks, various topologies such as batholith, laccolith, phacolith, lopolith, sil, sheet, and dike develop.

Batholith :-

The dome-shaped structure developed from deposition at very deep depths within the surface is called batholith. Idaho in the USA and the Coast Range of Canada are good examples of batholiths.

Lacolith :-

The structure developed by the domed deposition of magma between the flattened rocks inside the surface is called faecolith.

Faecolith :-

The structure developed from the undulating (apnea and inductance) deposits inside the surface is called Faecolith.

Lopolith :-

The structure developed from the deposition of magma in a basin within the ground is called a lopolith.

Cob and Sheet :-

Within the surface, the layers of flattened rocks are formed by the horizontal deposition of magma. Sheet thickness is less than cob.

Dyke :-

The topography developed by vertical deposition of magma inside the surface is called dike.

stock :-

The domes that are found in small-sized batholiths are called stocks.

अवसादी चट्टानें :-
अवसादी चट्टानों को तलछटी या परतदार चट्टान भी कहा जाता हैं|इनका निर्माण नदी, वायु, हिमनदी सागरीय तरंगों के चट्टानी अपरदन क्रिया से प्राप्त पदार्थो के जमाव के कारण होता हैं।
अवसादी चट्टानें में जीवाश्म(Fossil) की प्राप्ति होती हैं|अवसादी चट्टानों में में जोड़, संधियाँ और परत पाई जाती है।चूना पत्थर, कोयला, बलुआ पत्थर, चीका आदि अवसादी चट्टानों के उदाहरण हैं। अवसादी चट्टानों में खनिज तेल की प्राप्ति होती हैं। अवसादी चट्टानों में रंध्र(Porous) पाए जाते हैं। दिल्ली एवं आगरा का लाल किला लाल बलुआ पत्थर द्वारा बना हुआ हैं। भू-पटल में 75% अवसादी आवृत पायी जाती हैं जबकि 25% आग्नेय और कायांतरित चट्टानें हैं। भू-पटल के निर्माण में अवसादी चट्टानें का योगदान मात्र 5% हैं जबकि 95% आग्नेय तथा कायांतरित चट्टानें पाए जाते हैं।

sedimentary rocks :-
Sedimentary rocks are also called sedimentary or crusted rocks. They are formed due to deposition of substances derived from rocky erosion action of river, wind, glacial ocean waves.

Fossil is found in sedimentary rocks. In sedimentary rocks, joints, sandwiches and layers are found. Limestone, coal, sandstone, chika etc. are examples of sedimentary rocks. Sedimentary rocks yield mineral oil. Porous rocks are found in sedimentary rocks. The Red Forts of Delhi and Agra are made of red sandstone. 75% sedimentary covering is found in the terrain while 25% are igneous and metamorphic rocks. Sedimentary rocks contribute only 5% to the formation of terrain while 95% of igneous and metamorphic rocks are found.

रूपांतरित चट्टानें (कायांतरित चट्टानें) :-
ताप, दाब एवं रासायनिक क्रियाओं के प्रभाव से चट्टानों के मूलरूप में परिवर्तन से रूपांतरित चट्टानों का निर्माण होता हैं। रूपांतरित चट्टानें आग्नेय चट्टानों के सामान रवेदार(Crystalline) होती हैं। रूपांतरित चट्टानों में भिन्न-भिन्न खनिज पदार्थो की अलग-अलग तह पायी जाती हैं जिनके कारण चट्टानों में तड़क(Cleavage) के गुण पाए जाते हैं। चूना पत्थर के रूपांतरण से संगमरमर की चट्टानें विकसित होती हैं। भारत में सबसे अच्छे किस्म का संगमरमर राजस्थान के मकराना में पाया जाता हैं। शेल का रूपांतरित रूप स्लेट होता है जिससे बिलयर्ड की मेज बनती हैं। बलुआ पत्थर के रूपांतरण से क्वार्टजाइट का निर्माण होता हैं जिसका उपयोग कांच बनाने में होता हैं। चट्टानें की कठोरता को ‘मोह स्केल‘ से मापा जाता हैं। ग्रेफाइट का उपयोग पैसिल की लीड बनाने में किया जाता हैं। इटली का करारा संगमरमर विश्व प्रसिद्द संगमरमर हैं। बेसाल्ट तथा ग्रेबो के रूपांतरण से एम्फीबोलाइट(Amphibolite) चट्टान विकसित होती हैं।

Metamorphic rocks :-

Metamorphic rocks are formed by changes in the form of rocks due to the influence of heat, pressure and chemical reactions. Metamorphic rocks are crystalline similar to igneous rocks. The metamorphic rocks have different folds of different mineral materials, due to which the properties of cleavage are found in the rocks. Marble rocks develop from the conversion of limestone. The best type of marble in India is found in Makrana, Rajasthan. The metamorphic form of the shell is the slate that forms the billiard table. The conversion of sandstone leads to the formation of quartzite which is used to make glass. The hardness of rocks is measured by the 'Moh Scale'. Graphite is used in making lead of pacil. Carrara marble from Italy is a world famous marble. Amphibolite rocks are formed by the conversion of basalt and grabo.

पवन (Winds) :-
हम जानते हैं कि पृथ्वी पर विभिन्न स्थानों पर वायुदाब में क्षैतिज विषमताएं हैं। इस विषमता के कारण वायु उच्च वायु दाब से निम्न वायु दाब की ओर बहती हैं। क्षैतिज रूप से गतिशील इस हवा को पवन कहते हैं। जबकि ऊर्ध्वाधर दिशा में बहने वाली हवा को वायुधारा (Aircurrent) कहते हैं।
पवन की दिशा एवं गति को दाब प्रवणता, कारिआलिस बल, अभिकेंद्रीय त्वरण तथा भूतल का घर्षण प्रभावित करता हैं।

Winds :-

We know that there are horizontal inhomogeneities in air pressure at different places on Earth. This asymmetry causes air to flow from high air pressure to low air pressure. The horizontally moving wind is called wind. Whereas the air flowing in the vertical direction is called aircurrent.

The direction and speed of the wind affect pressure gradient, carialis force, central acceleration and surface friction.

पवनों के प्रकार (Types of Winds) :-
पवनें दो प्रकार की होती हैं। -
1. स्थायी पवनें।
2. अस्थायी पवनें।

Types of Winds :-

There are two types of winds. -

1. Permanent Winds.

2. Temporary Winds.

1. स्थायी पवनें।
ये वे पवनें है जो वर्ष भर एक निश्चित दिशा में उच्च वायु दाब से निम्न वायु दाब की ओर चलती हैं। इसी लिए इन्हे स्थायी या सनातनी (Permanent or Planetary winds ) भी कहते हैं।
ये पवनें तीन प्रकार की होती है।
* व्यापारिक पवनें (Trade winds)
* पछुआ पवनें (Westerlies)
* धुर्वीय पवनें (Polar winds)

1. Permanent Winds.

These are the winds which move in a certain direction from high air pressure to low air pressure throughout the year. For this reason, they are also called Permanent or Planetary winds.

These winds are of three types.

* Trade winds

* Westerlies

* Polar winds

व्यापारिक पवनें :-

ये पवनें उपोष्ण उच्च वायु दाब से विषुवतीय निम्न वायु दाब की ओर बहती हैं। उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में इन पवनों की दिशा उत्तर -पूर्वी तथा दक्षिणी गोलार्द्ध में दक्षिण -पूर्वी दिशा में चलती हैं। इसीलिए इन्हें पूर्वा पवन (Easterlies) भी कहते हैं।

ये पवनें प्राचीन काल में पालदार जलयानों को चलाने में सुविधा प्रदान करती थी। इसीलिए इन पवनों को व्यापारिक पवनें कहते थे। ये पवनें उच्च अक्षांश से आने के कारण कुछ ठंडी होती हैं।

Trade winds :-

These winds flow from subtropical high air pressure to equatorial low air pressure. In the northern hemisphere, the direction of these winds runs in the northeast and the southern hemisphere in the southeast. That is why they are also called Purva Pavans (Easterlies).

These winds facilitated the operation of Paladar ships in ancient times. That is why these winds were called commercial winds. These winds are somewhat cold due to coming from high latitudes.

पछुआ पवनें :-

ये पवन उपोष्ण उच्च वायुदाब से उपधुर्वीय निम्न वायु दाब की ओर चलती हैं। इन पवनों को प्रति व्यापारिक पवनें भी कहते हैं।

उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में इनकी दिशा दक्षिण -पश्चिम से उत्तर -पूर्व तथा दक्षिणी गोलार्द्ध में उत्तर -पश्चिम से दक्षिण -पूरब की ओर बहती हैं। इन पवनों की धुर्वीय सीमा परिवर्तित होती रहती हैं।

दक्षिणी गोलार्द्ध में स्थल की कमी के कारण इनकी गति तीव्र तथा तूफानी होती हैं। इनकी तीव्र गति के कारण 40° दक्षिणी अक्षांश में इन्हें गरजता चालीस (Roraing Forties), 50° दक्षिणी अक्षांश के पास भयंकर पचासा (Furous Fifties) तथा दक्षिणी अक्षांश के पास चीखती साठा (shrieking sixties) कहते हैं।

West Winds :-

These winds move from subtropical high pressure to subdural low air pressure. These winds are also called per trade winds.

Their direction in the Northern Hemisphere flows from the southwest to the northeast and in the southern hemisphere from the northwest to the south-east. The polar limits of these winds keep changing.

Due to the lack of land in the southern hemisphere, their movements are rapid and stormy. Due to their rapid movement, they are called Roraing Forties at 40 ° southern latitude, fierce Poussa near 50 ° south latitude and shrieking sixties near southern latitude.

धुर्वीय पवनें :-

ये पवनें धुर्वीय उच्च वायुदाब से उपधुर्वीय निम्न वायुदाब की ओर चलती हैं।

वैसे तो ये निश्चित अक्षांशों से चलती हैं। लेकिन जब सूर्य उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में होता हैं, तो इनका क्षेत्र कुछ उत्तर दिशा की ओर खिसक जाता हैं और जब सूर्य दक्षिण गोलार्द्ध में चमकता है, तो इनका क्षेत्र भी दक्षिण दिशा में खिसक जाता हैं।

धुर्वों से आने वाली पवनें बहुत ठंडी होती हैं और बड़े वेग से चलती हैं। उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में चलने वाली ये पवनें नार्थ -ईस्टर कहलाती हैं।

Polar winds :-

These winds move from polar high air pressure to subdural low pressure.

By the way, they run from certain latitudes. But when the sun is in the northern hemisphere, their field slips towards some north direction and when the sun shines in the south hemisphere, their field also slips in the south direction.

Winds coming from axles are very cold and move with great speed. These winds, which run in the northern hemisphere, are called the north-easter.

2.अस्थायी पवनें।

ये पवनें तीन प्रकार की होती हैं। मानसूनी, समीर एवं स्थानीय पवनें।

मानसूनी पवनें (Monsoon winds) :-

ये पवनें मौसम के अनुसार बहती हैं। ग्रीष्मकाल में ये पवनें समुद्र से स्थल की ओर चलती हैं। इसलिए इन्हें ग्रीष्मकालीन मानसून कहते हैं।

शीत ऋतू में ये पवनें स्थल से समुद्र की ओर चलती हैं। इसलिए इन्हें शीतकालीन मानसून कहते हैं।

समीर पवनें (Breeze winds) :-

स्थलीय समीर :- रात्रि के समय स्थल भाग समुद्री भाग की तुलना में जल्दी ठंडा हो जाता हैं। इसलिए स्थल भाग पर उच्च वायु दाब का क्षेत्र बन जाता हैं जबकि समुद्री सतह देर से ठंडी होती है। यहाँ निम्न वायु दाब का क्षेत्र होता हैं। इसलिए वायु स्थल से जल की ओर बहती हैं और स्थलीय समीर कहलाती हैं।

समुद्री समीर :- वायु दाब के अंतर के कारण दिन में वायु समुद्र से स्थल की ओर बहती हैं। समुद्री समीर कहलाती हैं।

घाटी समीर :- दिन के समय में पर्वतीय ढाल घाटी की तुलना में जल्दी गर्म होते हैं। इसलिए दिन में हवा घाटी से पर्वतीय ढाल की ओर बहती हैं। इन्हें एनाबेटिक पवनें या घाटी समीर कहते हैं।

पर्वत समीर :- रात्रि के समय पर्वतीय ढ़ाल घाटी की तुलना में जल्दी ठन्डे होते हैं। इसलिए हवा का बहाव पर्वतीय ढ़ाल से घाटी की ओर होता हैं। इन पवनों को केटाबेटिक पवनें या पर्वत समीर कहते हैं।

स्थानीय पवनें (Local winds) :-

किसी विशेष स्थान पर विशेष गुणों से सम्पन्न चलने वाली पवन स्थानीय पवन कहलाती हैं -ये दो प्रकार की होती हैं। गर्म पवन एवं ठंडी पवन।

2. Temporary Winds.

These winds are of three types. Monsoon, Sameer and Local Winds.

Monsoon winds: -

These winds flow according to the seasons. In summer, these winds move from the sea towards the site. Therefore, it is called summer monsoon.

In the cold season these winds move from the site towards the sea. Therefore, they are called winter monsoons.

Breeze winds: -

Terrestrial Sameer: - At night time the land area gets cooler than the sea part. Hence the area of high air pressure is formed at the site, while the sea surface is late cold. Here the area of low air pressure occurs. Hence air flows from the site to the water and is called terrestrial Sameer.

Sea breeze: - Due to the difference of air pressure, during the day the air flows from the sea to the site. The sea is called Samir.

Valley Samir: - In the day time, the mountain slopes are warmer than the valley. Hence during the day the winds flow from the valley towards the mountain slopes. These are called anabatic winds or valley breeze.

Mount Sameer: - At night, the mountain slopes are cooler than the valley. Therefore, air flows from the mountain slopes towards the valley. These winds are called catabatic winds or mountain breeze.

Local winds: -

Winds that run at certain places with special properties are called local winds - they are of two types. Hot Wind and Cold Wind.

स्थानीय गर्म पवनें :-

फॉन :- आल्प्स पर्वत के उत्तरी ढलानों के सहारे उतरने वाली गर्म व शुष्क हवा हैं। इसका सबसे अधिक प्रभाव स्विट्जरलैंड में होता हैं। यह बर्फ को पिघलाकर अंगूरों को पकने में सहायता करती हैं। आस्ट्रिया और जर्मनी में फॉन के नाम से जाना जाता हैं।

चिनूक :- यह रॉकी पर्वत के पूर्वी ढालों पर चलने वाली शुष्क हवा हैं। इसके प्रभाव से बर्फ पिघल जाती हैं जिससे शीतकाल में भी हरी भरी घास जम जाती हैं। यह बर्फ को पिघला देती हैं। इसीलिए इसे हिम – भक्षणी भी कहते हैं। इसका प्रभाव क्षेत्र पश्चिमी कनाड़ा और अमेरिका हैं।

सिरॉको :- उत्तरी अफ्रीका से चलने वाली ये गर्म और शुष्क हवाएं सिरॉको कहलाती हैं। ये हवाएं जब जब भूमध्य सागर को पार करके इटली और स्पेन में पहुंचकर रक्त वर्षा करती हैं। इस हवा को इटली में सिरॉको, स्पेन में लेवेश। मैड्रिया व कनारी द्वीप समूह में लेस्ट के नाम से जाना जाता हैं। इसको कई और नामों से जाना जाता है। खमसिन- मिस्र, गिबली- लीबिया, चिली- ट्यूनीशिया ।

ब्लैक रोलर :- उत्तरी अमेरिका के विशाल मैदानों में चलने वाली गर्म एवं धूल भरी शुष्क हवाएं।

हरमट्टन :- सहारा मरुस्थल से गिनी तट की ओर चलती हैं। इस हवा को डॉक्टर हरमट्टन भी कहा जाता हैं।

Fawn: - Alps are hot and dry air supporting the northern slopes of the mountain. It has the most effect in Switzerland. It helps the grapes to ripen by melting ice. In Austria and Germany known as Fon.

Chinook: - It is a dry air moving on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Due to its effect, the snow melts, which also creates green grass in winter. It melts the ice. That is why it is also called icebreaker. Its areas of influence are Western Canada and the United States.

Sirocco: - These hot and dry winds from North Africa are called Sirocco. These winds, when crossing the Mediterranean Sea, reach Italy and Spain, show blood. This air levees in Cirocco, Spain in Italy. Madria and Canary Islands are known as Lest. It is known by many more names. Khamsin- Egypt, Gibli- Libya, Chile- Tunisia.

Black Roller: - Hot and dusty dry winds moving across the vast plains of North America.

Harmattan: - Sahara runs from the desert towards the Guinea coast. This air is also called Doctor Harmattan.

चक्रवात (Cyclone) :-

चक्रवात न्यूनदाब के ऐसे केंद्र होते हैं, जिनके चारों ओर सम वायुदाब की रेखाएं पाई जाती हैं तथा केंद्र से सतह की ओर वायुदाब बढ़ते हुए क्रम में पाया जाता हैं। जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप परिधि से केंद्र की ओर पवनें प्रवाहित होती हैं।

इनकी दिशा उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में Anticlock wise तथा दक्षिणी गोलार्द्ध में clock wise होती हैं। चक्रवात सामान्यत: गोलाकार, अंडाकार या वी -आकार के होते हैं।

Cyclone :-

Cyclones are such centers of low pressure, around which lines of even air pressure are found and in increasing order of pressure from center to surface. As a result, winds flow from the periphery to the center.

Their direction is Anticlock wise in Northern Hemisphere and clock wise in Southern Hemisphere. Cyclones are usually circular, oval, or V-shaped.

चक्रवात के प्रकार :-

चक्रवात दो प्रकार के होते हैं।

1. उष्ण कटिबंधीय चक्रवात।

2. शीतोष्ण कटिबंधीय चक्रवात।

1. उष्ण कटिबंधीय चक्रवात :-

ये चक्रवात भूमध्य रेखा के दोनों ओर कर्क तथा मकर रेखा के मध्य सक्रिय होते हैं। इनकी उत्पत्ति दो विपरीत स्वभाव वाली हवाओं के परस्पर मिलने से बने वाताग्र के कारण होती हैं।

ये आकार में छोटे परन्तु इनकी गति बहुत तीव्र होती हैं जिससे ये बहुत विनाशकारी होते हैं। इनका व्यास 80 किमी से 300 किमी तक होता हैं तथा इसकी गति 30 किमी प्रति घंटा से 120 किमी प्रति घंटा तक होती हैं।

उष्ण कटिबंधीय चक्रवात सदैव गतिशील नहीं होते। कभी -कभी ये एक ही स्थान पर कई दिनों तक वर्षा करते रहते हैं।

चक्रवातों के केंद्रीय भागों को आँख या शांत क्षेत्र कहा जाता हैं।

भारत में आने वाले सुपर साइक्लोन की गति 225 किमी प्रति घंटा होती हैं तथा इनके केंद्र व परिधि के वायुदाब में अंतर 40 -55 mb रहता हैं।

टॉरनेडो सयुंक्त अमेरिका में उत्पन्न होने वाला एक ऐसा चक्रवात हैं, जिसकी आकृति कीपाकर होती हैं। जिसके निचले भाग का व्यास मात्र 50 से 100 मीटर का होता हैं। इसकी गति 800 किमी प्रति घंटा की होती हैं तथा अधिकतम समय 1 घंटा होता हैं।

हरिकेन - कैरीबियन द्वीप समूह

टाइफून - दक्षिणी चीन सागर, फिलीपींस

चक्रवात - हिंद महासागर

विली - विली - ऑस्ट्रेलिया

2. शीतोष्ण कटिबंधीय चक्रवात :-

शीतोष्ण कटिबंधीय चक्रवात 35° -65° अक्षांशो के मध्य दोनों गोलार्द्धों में उत्पन्न होते हैं, जहाँ पछुआ पवनों के प्रभाव में पश्चिम से पूर्व दिशा में चलते हैं। इनकी आकृति गोलाकार, अंडाकार या V -आकार की होती हैं। जिसके कारण इन्हें लो (Low), गर्त (Depression) या ट्रफ (Trough) कहा जाता हैं।

ये मध्य अक्षांशो के मौसम को बड़े पैमाने पर प्रभावित करते हैं। इनकी गति सामान्यतः 32 किमी से 48 किमी के मध्य होती है। इनके चलने के मार्ग को झंझा -पथ (Stormm track) कहा जाता हैं।

एक आदर्श शीतोष्ण चक्रवात का व्यास 1040 किमी से 1920 किमी के मध्य होता हैं।

Types of cyclones :-

There are two types of cyclones.

1. Tropical cyclones.

2. Temperate Tropical Cyclones.

1. Tropical cyclone :-

These cyclones are active on either side of the equator between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. Their origin is due to the atmosphere formed by the joining of two opposite nature winds.

They are small in size but they are very fast, making them very destructive. They have diameters ranging from 80 km to 300 km and have speeds ranging from 30 km per hour to 120 km per hour.

Tropical cyclones are not always moving. Sometimes they keep raining at the same place for several days.

The central parts of cyclones are called eye or quiet zones.

Super cyclones coming to India have a speed of 225 km per hour and the difference between their center and perimeter air pressure is 40 -55 mb.

Tornadoes are a cyclone originating in the United States, whose shape is kipakar. The diameter of the lower part is only 50 to 100 meters. It has a speed of 800 km per hour and the maximum time is 1 hour.

2. Temperate cyclone :-

Temperate tropical cyclones occur in both hemispheres between latitudes 35 ° –65 °, where westerlies move west to east under the influence of winds. They are circular, oval or V-shaped in shape. Because of which they are called Low, Depression or Trough.

These affect the weather of the middle latitudes extensively. Their speed is usually between 32 km to 48 km. Their walking path is called stormm track.

The diameter of an ideal temperate cyclone is between 1040 km to 1920 km.

चक्रवात का जीवन चक्र :-

चक्रवात के जीवन चक्र की 6 अवस्थाएं होती हैं। -

प्रथम अवस्था में गर्म एवं ठंडी वायु राशियां एक दूसरे के समांतर चलती हैं।
दूसरी अवस्था में दोनों वायु राशियां एक -दूसरे के क्षेत्र में प्रविष्ट होने का प्रयास करती हैं तथा लहरनुमा वाताग्र का निर्माण करती हैं।
तीसरी अवस्था में उष्ण एवं शीट वाताग्रों का पूर्ण विकास हो जाता हैं तथा चक्रवात का रूप प्राप्त हो जाता हैं।
चौथी अवस्था में शीत वाताग्र के तेजी से आगे बढ़ने पर उष्ण वाताग्र संकुचित होने लगता हैं।
पांचवी अवस्था में चक्रवात का अवसान होने लगता हैं।
छठी अवस्था में उष्ण वृतांश विलीन हो जाता हैं और चक्रवात समाप्त हो जाता हैं।

Life cycle of cyclone :-

There are 6 stages of a cyclone's life cycle. -

In the first stage, hot and cold air quantities run parallel to each other.

In the second stage, both the air signs try to enter each other's area and form the wave-shaped atmosphere.

In the third stage, the heat and sheet atmospheres are fully developed and the form of a cyclone is achieved.

In the fourth stage, when the cold air moves rapidly, the warm atmosphere starts to shrink.

In the fifth stage, the cyclone ends.

In the sixth stage, the heat dissipates and the cyclone ends.

प्रति चक्रवात (Anticyclone) :-

प्रतिचक्रवात वृत्ताकार समदाब रेखाओं से घिरा हुआ वायु का ऐसा क्रम होता है जिसके केंद्र में वायुदाब उच्चतम होता है जो बाहर की ओर घटता जाता है। इस कारण हवाएं केंद्र से परिधि की ओर चलती हैं।

प्रतिचक्रवातों की उत्पत्ति अधिकतर उपोष्ण कटिबंधीय उच्च दाब क्षेत्रों में होती है जबकि भूमध्यरेखीय निम्न दाब क्षेत्र में ये नहीं पाए जाते हैं।

प्रतिचक्रवात में मौसम साफ रहता है।इनके केंद्र में वायुदाब अधिकतम होता है।चक्रवातों की तुलना में बहुत विस्तृत आकार होता है।प्रतिचक्रवात 30-35 किमी. प्रतिघंटे की रफ्तार से चलते हैं।उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में इनकी दिशा घड़ी की सुई के अनुकूल (clockwise) और दक्षिणी गोलार्द्ध में घड़ी की सुई के प्रतिकूल (anti-clockwise) होती है।

Anticyclone :-

An anticyclone is a sequence of air surrounded by circular isobar lines with the highest pressure at the center that decreases outward. This causes winds to move from the center to the periphery.

Anticyclists originate mostly in subtropical high pressure areas while they are not found in equatorial low pressure regions.

The weather in a cyclone is clear. The air pressure in its center is maximum. The cyclone has a very wide size compared to that. The cyclone is 30–35 km. Per hour speed. Their direction in the northern hemisphere is clockwise and anti-clockwise in the southern hemisphere.

On May 1, International Workers' Day is celebrated in many countries of the world. This day is a holiday in more than 80 countries of the world. On this occasion, people associated with trade unions organize rallies and meetings and also raise voice for their rights.

International Labor Day began on May 1, 1886 with a movement in America. During this movement, laborers in America went on the agitation to set an 8-hour time to work. On the day of May 1, 1886, laborers took to the streets throughout America against the work and exploitation of 15 hours daily. During this time, some workers were fired upon by the police, in which many workers were killed and more than 100 people were injured. After this, in the second meeting of the International Socialist Conference in 1889, a resolution was passed in which it was announced that May 1 would be celebrated as International Labor Day and this day would be a holiday for all workers and workers. With this, the foundation to set 8 hours for work in all countries of the world including India was laid.

Labor Day in India began in Chennai on 1 May 1923. The Labor Farmers Party of Hindustan in India started it in Madras on 1 May 1923.

On this day, the indefinite work hours of the world's laborers were converted into 8 hours. The working class organizes large rallies and programs on this day.

The conference is organized on this day by the International Workers Organization (ILO). Declarations of welfare schemes for workers are made in many countries. Programs for Mazdoor Jagriti are broadcast by broadcasting mediums like TV, newspaper, and radio.

एक मई को दुनिया के कई देशों में अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रमिक दिवस मनाया जाता है। इस दिन दुनिया के 80 से अधिक देशों में छुट्टी होती है। इस मौके पर मजदूर संगठनों से जुड़े लोग रैली व सभाओं का आयोजन करते हैं और अपने अधिकारों के लिए आवाज भी बुलंद करते हैं।

अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय मजदूर दिवस की शुरुआत एक मई 1886 को अमेरिका में एक आंदोलन से हुई थी। इस आंदोलन के दौरान अमेरिका में मजदूर काम करने के लिए 8 घंटे का समय निर्धारित किए जाने को लेकर आंदोलन पर चले गए थे। 1 मई, 1886 के दिन मजदूर लोग रोजाना 15-15 घंटे काम कराए जाने और शोषण के खिलाफ पूरे अमेरिका में सड़कों पर उतर आए थे। इस दौरान कुछ मजदूरों पर पुलिस ने गोली चला दी थी जिसमें कई मजदूरों की मौत हो गई और 100 से ज्यादा लोग घायल हो गए। इसके बाद 1889 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समाजवादी सम्मेलन की दूसरी बैठक में एक प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया जिसमें यह ऐलान किया गया कि 1 मई को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मजदूर दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाएगा और इस दिन सभी कामगारों और श्रमिकों का अवकाश रहेगा। इसी के साथ भारत सहित दुनिया के तमाम देशों में काम के लिए 8 घंटे निर्धारित करने की नींव पड़ी।

भारत में मजदूर दिवस की शुरुआत चेन्नई में 1 मई 1923 में हुई। भारत में लेबर किसान पार्टी ऑफ हिन्दुस्तान ने 1 मई 1923 को मद्रास में इसकी शुरुआत की थी।
आज ही के दिन दुनिया के मजदूरों के अनिश्चित काम के घंटों को 8 घंटे में तब्दील किया गया था। मजदूर वर्ग इस दिन पर बड़ी-बड़ी रैलियों व कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हैं।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय श्रमिक संगठन (ILO) द्वारा इस दिन सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया जाता है। कई देशों में मजदूरों के लिए कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की घोषणाएं की जाती है। टीवी, अखबार, और रेडियो जैसे प्रसार माध्यमों द्वारा मजदूर जागृति के लिए कार्यक्रम प्रसारित किए जाते हैं।

वायु राशियां (Air masses) :-

वायुराशियाँ वायुमंडल का वह भाग हैं, जिसमें तापमान तथा आद्रता के भौतिक लक्षण क्षैतिज दिशा में एक समान होते हैं। ये वायु राशियां जिस मार्ग पर चलती हैं, उसकी तापमान और आद्रता सम्बन्धी दशाओं को परिमार्जित (Modify) करती हैं, तथा स्वयं भी उनसे प्रभावित होती हैं।

विश्व के विभिन्न भागों के मौसम में परिवर्तन विभिन्न वायुराशियों की क्रिया प्रतिक्रिया के कारण होती हैं। एक वायुराशि का अनुप्रस्थ विस्तार कई हजार किमी और ऊपर की ओर क्षोभ मंडल तक होता हैं।

Air masses :-

Air masses are the part of the atmosphere in which the physical characteristics of temperature and humidity are uniform in the horizontal direction. These air quantities modulate the temperature and humidity conditions of the path on which they travel, and are themselves affected by them.

Changes in the weather in different parts of the world are caused by the action response of different airways. The transverse expansion of an airway is several thousand km and upward to the troposphere.

वायु राशियों के प्रकार (Type of Air masses) :-

सामान्यतः वायु राशियां दो प्रकार की होती हैं -

1. शीतल या ठंडी वायु राशि।

2. गर्म या उष्ण वायु राशि।

जिन वायुराशियों का तापमान धरातल की तुलना में कम होता है, वे शीतल वायुराशियाँ कहलाती हैं। जिन वायुराशियों का तापमान धरातल की तुलना में अधिक होता हैं वे गर्म या उष्ण वायुराशियाँ कहलाती हैं।

वायु राशियों से उत्पन्न घटनाएं -

वाताग्रों का निर्माण, क्षेत्रीय मौसम में परिवर्तन तथा वायुमंडलीय विक्षोभ (चक्रवात तथा प्रति चक्रवात)

Type of Air masses: -

There are generally two types of air quantities -

1. Cold or cold air mass.

2. Hot or hot air mass.

Air masses whose temperature is lower than the surface are called cold air mass. Airs that have a higher temperature than the surface are called hot or hot air mass.

Occurrences due to air masses -

Construction of atmospheres, changes in regional weather and atmospheric disturbances (cyclones and per cyclones)

वाताग्र (Fronts) :-

जब दो विपरीत स्वभाव वाली वायु राशियां मिलती हैं, तो उन दोनों वायुराशियों के बीच 5 से 80 किमी चौड़ा एक संक्रमण प्रदेश बनता हैं। जिसे वाताग्र प्रदेश कहते हैं।

यह वाताग्र धरातलीय सीमा पर कुछ कोण पर झुका हुआ होता हैं। वाताग्र का ढाल पृथ्वी की अक्षीय गति पर आधारित होता हैं, जो कि धुर्वों की ओर बढ़ता हैं।

Fronts :-

When two opposites are found, a transition zone between 5 and 80 km wide forms between those two airways. Which is called Vatagra Pradesh.

It is tilted at some angle on the ground plane. The gradient of the fronts is based on the axial motion of the earth, which moves towards the axles.

वाताग्र के प्रकार (Type of Fronts) :-

वाताग्र मुख्यत: चार प्रकार के होते हैं -

1. उष्ण वाताग्र (Warm Front) :-

जब गर्म व हल्की वायु आक्रामक होकर ठंडी व भारी वायु के ऊपर चढ़ जाती हैं तो उसे उष्ण वाताग्र कहते हैं।

उष्ण वाताग्र का ढ़ाल 1:100 से 1:400 तक होता हैं। इसमें वर्षा दीर्घ कालीन परन्तु धीमी होती हैं।

2. शीत वाताग्र (Cold Front) :-

जब ठंडी व भारी वायु आक्रमक होकर गर्म वायु को ऊपर उठा देती हैं तो वह शीत वाताग्र कहलाता हैं। शीत वाताग्र का ढाल 1:25 से 1:100 तक होता हैं। इसमें वर्षा अल्पकालीन लेकिन तीव्र होती हैं।

3. अधिविष्ट वाताग्र (Occluded Front) :-

जब शीत वाताग्र तीव्र गति से चलकर उष्ण वाताग्र से मिल जाता है तथा गर्म वायु का धरातल से संपर्क समाप्त हो जाता हैं तो अधिविष्ट वाताग्र का निर्माण हो जाता है।

4. स्थाई वाताग्र (Stationary Front) :-

जब दो विपरीत वायुराशियाँ एक – दूसरे के समांतर प्रवाहित होती हैं तो स्थाई वाताग्र का निर्माण होता हैं। इसमें वायुमंडलीय स्थिरता उत्पन्न हो जाती हैं।

Type of Fronts :-

There are mainly four types of Vatagra -

1. Warm Front :-

When hot and light air aggressively climbs over cold and heavy air, it is called warm front.

The slope of the warm air is from 1: 100 to 1: 400. The rains are long but slow in this.

2. Cold Front :-

When cold and heavy air aggressively elevates hot air, it is called cold front. Cold gradient ranges from 1:25 to 1: 100. The rains are short but intense.

3. Occluded Front :-

When the cold atmosphere moves at a rapid pace and joins the warm atmosphere and the contact of hot air from the ground ends, the overlying atmosphere is formed.

4. Stationary Front :-

When two opposite airflows flow parallel to each other, a permanent atmosphere is formed. It produces atmospheric stability.

जब वायुमंडल की हवा रूद्राष्म प्रक्रिया द्वारा ठंडी होती हैं तो उसका तापमान ओसांक से नीचे गिर जाता हैं। तब बादल का निर्माण होता हैं। बादल का घनत्व कम होता हैं इसीलिए ये वायुमंडल में तैरते हैं।
औसत ऊंचाई के आधार पर बादलों को तीन मुख्य भागों में बांटा जा सकता है।

ऊँचे मेघ (धरातल से 6000 मी. से 12000 मी. की ऊंचाई तक)
मध्य मेघ (धरातल से 2000 मी. से 6000 मी. की ऊंचाई तक)
निम्न मेघ (धरातल से 2000 मी. की ऊंचाई तक)

Cloud :-

When the air in the atmosphere is cooled by the rudimentary process, its temperature drops below the dew point. Then a cloud is formed. The density of the cloud is low which is why they float in the atmosphere.

Clouds can be divided into three main parts based on average elevation.

1.High cloud (6000 m above ground to 12000 m height)

2.Middle cloud (2000 m to 6000 m height from the ground)

3.Low cloud (from ground level to 2000 m height)

ऊँचे मेघ (धरातल से 6000 मी. से 12000 मी. की ऊंचाई तक) :-

इनको तीन भागों में बांटा गया है।

1. पक्षाभ मेघ (Cirrus cloud) :-

ये सबसे अधिक ऊंचाई पर होते हैं। इनका निर्माण हिम कणों से होता हैं। ये मेघ पतले और सफ़ेद होते हैं। ये मेघ चक्रवात के आगमन के सूचक होते हैं।

2. पक्षाभ स्तरी मेघ (Cirrostratus cloud) :-

ये दूधिया चादर की भांति फैले होते हैं। इन्ही बादलों के कारण सूर्य और चन्द्रमा के चारो ओर प्रभामंडल (halo) का निर्माण होता हैं। ये मेघ पक्षाभ मेघों के बाद दिखाई देते हैं। और चक्रवात के आगमन की सूचना देते हैं।

3. पक्षाभ कपासी मेघ (Cirro-cumulus cloud) :- ये सफ़ेद रंग के छोटे -छोटे गोलों के रूप में दिखाई देते हैं।

High Cloud (6000 m to 12000 m above ground level): -

They are divided into three parts.

1. Cirrus cloud: -

They occur at the highest altitude. They are formed by snow particles. These clouds are thin and white. These clouds indicate the arrival of cyclones.

2. Cirrostratus cloud: -

These are spread like milky sheets. Due to these clouds, halo is formed around the sun and the moon. These clouds appear after the cloud clouds. And reports the arrival of the cyclone.

3. Cirro-cumulus cloud: - They appear as small white colored small balls.

2.मध्य मेघ (धरातल से 2000 मी. से 6000 मी. की ऊंचाई तक) :-

इनको दो भागों में बांटा गया है।

1.स्तरी मध्य मेघ(Alto-stratus cloud): यह पक्षाभ स्तरी मेघों का बड़ा रूप होता हैं। इनकी परतें मोटी नीले या भूरे रंग की होती हैं। इनके छाये रहने से सूर्य का प्रकाश धुंधला व अस्पष्ट दिखाई देता हैं। इनसे विस्तृत क्षेत्रों में लगातार वर्षा होती हैं।

2.कपासी मध्य मेघ(Alto-cumulus cloud): ये सफ़ेद व भूरे रंग पतले गोलाकार रूप में होते हैं। इन मेघों में वायु का प्रवाह लंबवत होता हैं। जिससे इनका विकास ऊपर की ओर होता हैं।

2. Middle clouds (2000 m to 6000 m height from the ground)

They are divided into two parts.

1. Alto-stratus cloud:- It is a large form of stratum clouds. Their layers are thick blue or brown. Due to their shadow, the sunlight appears blurred and unclear. They receive continuous rainfall in wide areas.

2. Alto-cumulus cloud:- These are white and brown in thin circular form. The air flow in these clouds is vertical. Due to which they grow upwards.

3.निम्न मेघ (धरातल से 2000 मी. की ऊंचाई तक) :-

इनको पांच भागों में बांटा गया है।

1.स्तरी मेघ(Stratus cloud): ये मेघ समस्त आकाश में कोहरे की परत की रूप में छाए रहते हैं.इनका निर्माण कोहरे की निचली परतों के विसरण या उत्थान के फलस्वरूप होता हैं। इनके विच्छिन होने से आकाश नीला दिखाई देता हैं। जबकि शीतोष्ण कटिबंधीय क्षेत्रों में दो विपरीत वायु राशियों से मिलने पर भी इनका निर्माण हो जाता हैं।

2.स्तरी कपासी मेघ(Strato-cumulus cloud): ये हल्के भूरे या सफ़ेद रंग के गोलाकार धब्बों के रूप में मिलते हैं। ये सर्दियों के मौसम में लगभग पूरे आसमान में पाए जाते है। ये सामान्यत: साफ़ मौसम के संकेतक हैं।

3.कपासी मेघ(Cumulus cloud): ये मेघ भी साफ मौसम के संकेतक होते हैं। इनका आधार विस्तृत तथा ऊपर का भाग गुंबदाकार गोभी की भांति होता हैं।

4.कपासी वर्षी मेघ(Cumulus-nimbus cloud): ये मेघ भारी वर्षा, ओला, तड़ित झंजा के संकेतक होते हैं। ये नीचे से ऊपर की ओर एक विशाल मीनार की भांति होते है। ये कभी कभी धरातल से बहुत अधिक ऊंचाई तक भी पाए जाते हैं।

5.वर्षा स्तरी मेघ(Nimbostratus): ये धरातल से कम ऊंचाई पर पाए जाते हैं। ये स्वरूप में काले और घने होते हैं। अधिक सघनता होने पर सूर्य का प्रकाश भी पृथ्वी तक नहीं पहुँच पाता हैं। ये मेघ वायुमंडल में आद्रता बढ़ा देते हैं जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप वर्षा होने लगती हैं।

3. Low cloud (up to 2000 m height from the ground): -

They are divided into five parts.

1. Stratus cloud: These clouds dominate the entire sky as a layer of fog. These are formed as a result of diffusion or uplift of the lower layers of the fog. Due to their separation, the sky appears blue. Whereas in temperate regions they are formed even after meeting two opposite air masses.

2.Strato-cumulus cloud: These are found in the form of light brown or white colored circular spots. They are found in almost the entire sky during the winter season. These are generally indicators of clear weather.

3. Cumulus cloud: These clouds are also indicators of clear weather. Their base is wide and the upper part is like domed cabbage.

4. Cumulus-nimbus cloud: These clouds are indicative of heavy rain, hailstorm, thunderstorm. They are like a huge tower from bottom to top. They are sometimes found to be much higher than the ground.

5. Yearly stratum cloud (Nimbostratus): They are found at a lower altitude than the ground level. They are black and dense in appearance. Sunlight also does not reach the earth when it is very dense. These clouds increase the humidity in the atmosphere resulting in rain.

वर्षा(Rainfall) :-

समुद्रों, झीलों आदि का जल सूर्यातप से गर्म होकर भाप के रूप में ऊपर उठता हैं, इसे वाष्पीकरण कहा जाता हैं। यह वाष्पित जल ऊपर वायुमंडल में जाकर ठंडा होने लगता हैं। जिससे इसमें संघनन की क्रिया होने लगती हैं और मेघों का निर्माण होता हैं।

जब मेघों में वाष्पित जल की मात्रा अधिक हो जाती हैं तो वो इसे संभाल नहीं पाते और वर्षा हो जाती हैं।

Rainfall :-

The water of the oceans, lakes, etc., heated by the sun rises in the form of steam, it is called evaporation. This evaporated water starts cooling in the atmosphere. Due to which the action of condensation starts and clouds are formed.

When the amount of evaporated water in the clouds becomes high, they cannot handle it and it rains.

वर्षा के प्रकार :-

उत्पत्ति के आधार पर वर्षा को तीन प्रकारों में वर्गीकृत किया गया हैं।

संवहनीय वर्षा (Convectional Rainfall)
पर्वतीय वर्षा (Orographic Rainfall)
चक्रवाती वर्षा (cyclonic Rainfall)

Types of Rainfall :-
Based on the origin, rainfall is classified into three types.

1. Convectional Rainfall
2. Orographic Rainfall
3. Cyclonic Rainfall

1. संवहनीय वर्षा :-

जब भूतल बहुत गर्म हो जाता है तो उसके सम्पर्क में आने वाली हवाएं गर्म होकर ऊपर उठती हैं। ये उठती हवाएं ही संवहनीय हवाएं कहलाती हैं। अधिक ऊंचाई पर पहुंचने पर ये हवाएं ठंडी हो जाती हैं।

जब इनका तापमान वायुमंडल के तापमान के बराबर हो जाता हैं तो संघनन की क्रिया शुरू हो जाती हैं। जिससे काले कपासी वर्षी मेघों का निर्माण होता हैं। जिससे तेज वर्षा होती हैं। इस प्रकार की वर्षा को संवहनीय वर्षा कहते हैं।

इस प्रकार की वर्षा भूमध्यरेखीय भाग में अधिक होती हैं। वहां पर सूर्य की किरणें सीधी पड़ती हैं। जिससे जल तेजी से वाष्पित होकर ऊपर उठता हैं। दोपहर बाद 3 बजे से 4 बजे तक घनघोर वर्षा होती हैं।

1. Convectional Rainfall :-

When the surface becomes very hot, the winds coming into contact with it rise and rise. These rising winds are called convective winds. On reaching higher altitudes, these winds cool.

When their temperature is equal to the temperature of the atmosphere, the process of condensation starts. Due to this, black cloudy clouds are formed. Due to which there is strong rainfall. This type of rainfall is called sustainable rainfall.

This type of rainfall is more in the equatorial part. There the sun's rays fall straight. Due to which water evaporates rapidly and rises up. Later in the afternoon, there is heavy rainfall from 3 pm to 4 pm.

2. पर्वतीय वर्षा :-

जब जलवाष्प से लदी हुई गर्म वायु के मार्ग में कोई पर्वत या अवरोध आ जाता हैं तो ऊपर उठती हुई हवा ठंडी हो जाती हैं। जिससे उसमें जल वाष्प का संघनन हो जाता है। इसके बाद वर्षा होने लगती हैं जिसे पर्वतीय वर्षा कहते हैं।

यह वर्षा उन्ही क्षेत्रों में अधिक होती हैं, जहाँ पर्वत श्रेणी समुद्र तट के निकट तथा उसके समान्तर हो। विश्व की अधिकांश वर्षा इसी रूप में होती हैं।

ऊंचाई बढ़ने के साथ -साथ वर्षा की मात्रा भी बढ़ती जाती हैं। जिस पर्वतीय ढ़ाल पर वर्षा होती हैं, उसे वर्षा पोषित या पवनाभिमुख क्षेत्र कहते हैं।

जबकि विमुख ढ़ाल पर वर्षा नहीं होती हैं। इसे वृष्टि छाया प्रदेश कहते हैं।

2. Orographic Rainfall :-

When a mountain or barrier comes in the way of hot air laden with water vapor, the rising air becomes cold. This causes condensation of water vapor in it. After this, rainfall starts which is called mountain rain.

This rainfall is more in those areas where the mountain range is near and parallel to the beach. Most of the world's rainfall is in this form.

As the height increases, the amount of rainfall also increases. The mountain slope on which the rain falls, it is called rain fed or rainfed area.

Whereas there is no rain on the opposite slope. It is called the rain shadow region.

3. चक्रवाती वर्षा :-

जब दो विपरीत स्वभाव वाली ठंडी और गर्म हवाएं आपस में टकराती हैं तो वाताग्र का निर्माण होता हैं। इसी वाताग्र के सहारे गर्म हवा ठंडी हवा के ऊपर चढ़ जाती है और संघनन की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो जाती हैं। जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप चक्रवाती वर्षा होती हैं।

इस तरह की वर्षा अधिकांशः शीतोष्ण कटिबंध में होती हैं। इस प्रकार की वर्षा में संघनन मंद गति से होता हैं। इसीलिए ये विस्तृत क्षेत्र में दीर्घकाल तक होती रहती हैं।

शीतकाल में भारत में भी पश्चिम से आने वाले चक्रवातों से उत्तरी भारत में चक्रवाती वर्षा होती हैं।

3. Cyclonic Rainfall :-

When two opposite-nature cold and warm winds collide, the atmosphere is created. With the help of this atmosphere, the hot air rises over the cold air and the process of condensation starts. As a result of which cyclonic rain occurs.

This type of rainfall is mostly in the temperate tropics. In this type of rain, condensation is slow. That is why they continue for a long time over a wide area.

In winter, cyclonic rain in northern India is caused by cyclones coming from the west in India.

वर्षा का वितरण :-

विषुवत् रेखीय प्रदेश, वाणिज्य वायु के क्षेत्र में पूर्वी किनारों पर अधिक वर्षा वाले क्षेत्र हैं।

शीतोष्ण क्षेत्र वाले देशों के पश्चिमी तट, जहाँ चक्रवातीय और आंशिक रूप से पर्वतीय वर्षा होती है। इन क्षेत्रों में सालोंभर वर्षा होती है।

धरातल पर कम वर्षा के क्षेत्र अधिक हैं. इस प्रकार विश्व में असमान वर्षा (uneven rainfall) का वितरण देखा जाता है। मरुभूमि में नाममात्र की वर्षा होती है क्योंकि वे शुष्क क्षेत्र होते हैं.

मानसून-प्रदेश में तथा उष्ण क्षेत्र के कुछ भागों में वर्षा में गर्मी विशेष रूप से होती है। इसी तरह भूमध्यसागर के आसपास और भूमध्यसागरीय जलवायु के प्रदेशों में केवल जाड़े में वर्षा होती है।

Distribution of Rainfall :-

The equatorial region, the area of commercial air, has more rainy areas on the eastern edges.

West coast of temperate countries where cyclonic and partly mountainous rainfall occurs. These areas receive rainfall throughout the year.

There are more areas of less rainfall on the ground. Thus the distribution of uneven rainfall is seen in the world. There is nominal rainfall in the desert because they are dry areas.

In the monsoon region and in some parts of the warm region, the heat is particularly hot in the rain. Similarly, rainfall occurs only in the winter around the Mediterranean Sea and regions of the Mediterranean climate.

वर्षा को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक :-

वर्षा को प्रभावित करने वाले कारक निम्न हैं।

1. अक्षांश – निम्न अक्षांश में अधिक वर्षा होती हैं जबकि उच्च अक्षांश यानी कम वर्षा होती हैं। इसका कारण यह है की निम्न अक्षांशों में वाष्पीकरण तेजी से होता है।
2. ऊँचाई – मैदान की अपेक्षा पहाड़ों पर अधिक वर्षा होती है। इसका कारण यह है कि पहाड़ों के सहारे जलवाष्प से भरी हवा को घनीभूत होने का मौका मिलता है। लेकिन वृष्टिछाया-क्षेत्र में वर्षा की कमी रहती है।
3. प्रचलित पवन – यदि पवन समुद्र से आते हैं तो अधिक वर्षा लाने वाले होते हैं। इसके विपरीत यदि प्रचलित पवन स्थल से आते हैं तो सूखे और वर्षा नहीं करने वाले होंगे।
4. जलधाराएँ – ठंडी जलधारा से होकर बहने वाली वायु में वर्षा करने की शक्ति नहीं होती. इसके विपरीत गर्म जलधारा की ओर चलने वाली वायु अधिक वर्षा करती है।
5. समुद्र से दूरी – जो स्थान समुद्र से जितना ही दूर होगा वहाँ उतनी ही कम वर्षा होती है।

इनके अतिरिक्त जल और स्थान की स्थिति, दोनों के अलग-अलग तापक्रम, पर्वतश्रेणियों की दिशा, वायुभार की पत्तियों का उत्तर-दक्षिण खिसकना आदि भी वर्षा पर प्रभाव डालते हैं।

Factors affecting rainfall: -

The factors that influence rainfall are:

Latitude - Lower latitudes receive more rainfall while higher latitudes mean less rainfall. The reason for this is that evaporation occurs rapidly in the lower latitudes.

Altitude - The mountains receive more rainfall than the plain. The reason for this is that the air filled with water from the mountains gives a chance to condense. But there is a lack of rainfall in the rain-shadow area.

Prevailing Wind - If the winds come from the sea, they are going to bring more rain. Conversely, if they come from the prevailing wind site, there will be no drought and no rain.

Water streams - Air flowing through cold water does not have the power to rain. Conversely, the air moving towards hot water receives more rainfall.

Distance from the sea - The farther away from the sea the less rainfall there is.

Apart from these, the water and location conditions, the different temperatures of the two, the direction of the mountain ranges, the north-south movement of the leaves of the air load, etc. also affect the rainfall.

वर्षा को एक विशेष मापक द्वारा मापा जाता है। जिसे वर्षा मापक (Rain Gauge) कहते हैं। इसे मि.मी में मापा जाता हैं।

कृत्रिम वर्षा :-

एक विशेष प्रकार की प्रक्रिया द्वारा विशेष प्रकार के मेघों को कृत्रिम उपायों से संतृप्त करके वर्षा कराई जाती हैं। इसीलिए इसे कृत्रिम वर्षा या मेघों का कृत्रिम बीजारोपण भी कहा जाता हैं।
इस प्रकार का प्रयोग सबसे पहले विन्सेंट जे. शेफर और इरविग लैग्मयूर नामक दो अमेरिकी वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा 1946 में किया गया था। इसमें इन्होने ठोस कार्बन डाई ऑक्साइड (शुष्क बर्फ) का प्रयोग किया था।
कृत्रिम वर्षा का सफल प्रयोग इजराइल व रूस द्वारा भी किया गया। इसके लिए इन्होने सिल्वर आयोडाइड का प्रयोग किया था।
भारत में भी गुजरात के सौराष्ट्र क्षेत्र में प्रोजेक्ट रेन ड्राप चलाए गए थे। परन्तु ये प्रयोग अधिक सफल नहीं रहे।

Artificial Rain: -

A special type of process is saturated with special measures to rain the clouds. That is why it is also called artificial rainfall or artificial seed planting of clouds.

This type of experiment was first used by Vincent J. Was done in 1946 by two American scientists named Shaffer and Irwig Lagmayur. In this, he used solid carbon dioxide (dry ice).

Artificial rainfall was also successfully used by Israel and Russia. For this, he used silver iodide.

Project rain drops were also conducted in Saurashtra region of Gujarat in India. But these experiments were not very successful.

जल के गैसीय अवस्था से तरल या ठोस अवस्था में होने वाले परिवर्तन को संघनन कहते हैं। संघनन को प्रभावित करने वाले दो प्रमुख कारक हैं।

वायु की सापेक्षिक आर्द्रता
तापमान में कमी

जब वायुमंडल के तापमान में कमी आती हैं तो धूल कणों का संघनन शुरू हो जाता हैं। इन कणों को संघनन केंद्र कहते हैं। धूल, धुआँ और समुद्री नमक के कण अच्छे संघनन के केंद्र माने जाते हैं।

संघनन की क्रिया से ओस, कुहरा, कुहासा तथा बादल बनते हैं, जोकि संघनन के ही विविध रूप हैं।

वायु के जिस तापमान पर जल अपनी गैसीय अवस्था (जलवाष्प) से तरल या ठोस अवस्था में बदलता है तो उसे ओसांक कहते हैं।

जब ओसांक हिमांक के नीचे होता हैं तो तुषार, हिम, पक्षाभ मेघ आदि का निर्माण होता हैं।
जब ओसांक हिमांक से ऊपर होता हैं तो ओस, कुहारा, कुहासा एवं बादल का निर्माण होता हैं।

Condensation :-

The change that occurs from the gaseous state of water to a liquid or solid state is called condensation. There are two major factors affecting condensation.

1. Relative humidity of air

2. Temperature reduction

When the temperature of the atmosphere decreases, condensation of dust particles starts. These particles are called condensation centers. Dust, smoke and sea salt particles are considered centers of good condensation.

The action of condensation creates dew, fog, mist and clouds, which are different forms of condensation.

The temperature at which the water changes from its gaseous state (water vapor) to liquid or solid state is called Osank.

When the dew point is below freezing point, frost, snow, pallabh cloud etc. are formed.

When dew point is above freezing point, dew, cloud, mist and cloud are formed.

ओस, तुषार(पाला), कुहारा(धुंध) तथा ओला क्या होता है।

ओस(Dew) :-

जब वायुमंडल की निचली परत का तापमान गिरकर ओसांक से नीचे पहुँच जाता हैं तो वायु में उपस्थित जलवाष्प का संघनन जल की छोटी -छोटी बूंदो के रूप में धरातल पर पेड़ पौधों पत्तियों पर हो जाता हैं। इसे ही ओस कहा जाता हैं।

Dew :-

When the temperature of the lower layer of the atmosphere falls and falls below the dew point, the condensation of water vapor present in the air in the form of small drops of water on the ground leaves the plants on the ground. This is called dew.

तुषार या पाला (Fost) :-

पृथ्वी के धरातल पर जब वायु का तापमान 0°C से नीचे चला जाता हैं, तब जलवाष्प बूंदो के रूप में संघनित होने के स्थान पर सीधे हिम कणों के रूप में जम जाती हैं। हिम के रूप में जमी हुई ओस ही पाला कहलाती हैं।

Frost(Fost) :-

When the air temperature drops below 0 ° C on the earth's surface, then instead of condensing as water droplets, it freezes directly as snow particles. Frozen dew in the form of snow is called frost.

कुहारा (धुंध) Fog(Haze) :-

जब तापमान में कमी होने पर वायुमंडल की निचली परत के धूल या धुंए के कणों पर जलवाष्प के कण संघनित हो जाते हैं तो कुहारा या धुंध का कहलाता हैं।

जब दृश्यता 200 मीटर से कम होती हैं तो इसे कुहारा कहते हैं और जब दृश्यता 1 किमी से अधिक और 2 किमी से कम होती हैं तो धुंध कहलाती हैं।

Fog(Haze) Mist :-

When there is a decrease in temperature, the particles of water vapor condense on the dust or smoke particles of the lower layer of the atmosphere, it is called a mist or mist.

When the visibility is less than 200 meters, it is called Kuhara and when the visibility is more than 1 km and less than 2 km, it is called mist.

ओला(Hail) :-

जब जल की बूंदे जम जाती हैं और इनके कणों का आकार बढ़ता हैं तब ये भारी होकर नीचे गिरना शुरू कर देते हैं। इसे ही ओला कहते हैं। ये कपासी मेघो से गिरते हैं।

Hail :-

When the water droplets freeze and the size of their particles increases, then they start falling down heavier. This is called Ola. These kapasi fall from the cloud.
