We are still getting this website back on its feet, and we are doing our best as we perform troubleshooting, it take steps to solve problems.

Migrating to a New VPS Server For Our Websites

We are proud to announce we're moving to a new VPS as a way to get our website back online. We spoke with a hosting company to migrate our data from a dead server to a new server with a new distribution of Linux. Well, being a web developer is a common activity what we usually do on an occasional basis, and we are heading back to production as we focus more on our projects.

Once we fully migrate to a new server, we can continue working on our typical projects as a way to keep our publishing times consistent.

Do you remember we used to host our content what we write on Blogger? We are still going to rely on VPS hosting as a way to keep our democratic views intact, and keep our independence in check. The more independent our websites are, the better.

At this time, we will NOT offer paid memberships during a huge migration of our data. We are also going to reconfigure our ad server as a way to implement independent ads that are going to be posted by our community of advertisers who want to have a lighter approach as they submit their ads to our websites for being displayed via our ad server.

HHere are the following actions what we are going to take,--depending on a successfull migration:

Place a banner on our website that indicates our website has migrated successfully: This is an optional action, but we only going to do this to let users know about our efforts of migrating to a new server.

Split Websites: This is an optional step. Splitting websites may be necessary,--if we need to implement dedicated parts of our websites.

Move Domains To A Separate Server: That depends on our website's revenue. For this instance; if we have enough revenue after posting our customer's advertisements... we can use our earned revenue to expand our products and services. We are proud to announce our successful objective, getting a new Chromebook. Fortunately, we managed to buy a Chromebook at Walmart, and we are finally going back to work. New content will be delivered like usual, and we are going to update our websites, and reformat our website as a way for Fairies Dreams & Fantasy to evolve.

Here are the following issues what we've encountered as we tried to use our other devices for keeping our websites up to date:

Lagging machines that caused us to rely on small amounts of ram when trying to write long posts offline, but we are still flashing our updates as a way to help get our posts updated as a way to fix errors.
Addressed issues with our constant crashes on weak machines like our Nextbook laptop.
Addressed faulty TalkBack's limits on both Android TV and Laptop.

Now, we have a new Chromebook, and we're currently getting use to these controls what we were familiar with, after we have used an Acer C7 Chromebook for about 8 years.

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Support has been reconnected to a WordPress multisite as a way to reduce costs of running our website, and integrate it to our primary network.

The TOU page, the Privacy Policy page, and the Disclosure page is still intact and unchanged. This is necessary to reformat Fairies Dreams & Fantasy as a way to streamline our website to use our network. Other websites such as Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Arcade, Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Ads, and other features are NOT changed.

Changes

The following changes addresses these following issues with our support website:

Deleted dedicated instance of WordPress, and recreated our support site. A dedicated install of WordPress has been removed as a way to reintegrate our support website to our main multisite. This experiment has resulted to an expensive storage costs of our website.
Chose 2017 theme to keep this website classic.
Refactored contact forms for customers to send email to get support from a website operator.
Plugins support has been removed,--along with "Content Reuse Center... due to multisite subsites that may be to difficult to manage overtime.

This necessary change has also fixed issues with users quickly locating to our support website. This measure has addressed other issues with Fairies Dreams & Fantasy itself.

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Premium has been connected to our multisite to enable users to quickly access other content on Fairies Dreams & Fantasy. This changes addresses these issues that may cause users to create multiple accounts across Fairies Dreams & Fantasy. There are some other issues what we've addressed, regarding account creation across our website via dedicated instances of software like WordPress.

These following changes has fixed a couple of issues listed below:

Refactored Website To Rely On Our Multisite Network

The multisite network has been redesigned to enable our premium users to sign into their accounts to easily access premium content what we're offering. Now we're using BuddyPress as a way to enable users to become members, and participate posting our dicussion forums. Our premium content has been successfully migrated to our multisite as a way to help our website reduce costs of running our premium content. We've implemented ways to remove ads from paying premium members. However; if you were previously registered on our dedicated instance of our premium website, you may need to regain access to your account. If you have trouble logging in, you may need to visit a page to recover your account, and create a new password, however; our premium website is still in the works; rebuilding our membership website.

If you were recently trying to Access Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Writer, most likely our website where we offer free content to read, and run your own blogs is currently down, and we're currently planning a rebuild of our website to get ourselves back in working order, however; our our premium version of our website is still active, and we're currently getting ready to publish more of our premium content, and implement communities for members to join as they subscribe to these communities.

How Did The Catastrophic Failure Occurred?

Okay, we're about to update our CMS as a way to enjoy new features of Fairies Dreams & Fantasy as a way to experience new features. However; this failure has caused us to lose our precious content, and lose our ads what we've implemented. These posts what we published as a beauty on Fairies Dreams & Fantasy were gone for good,--after an update to our CMS failed. Well, we managed to get Fairies Dreams & Fantasy back up without any further problems!

We tried our backups of our websites to bring back our precious platform for our users who signed up. This is our first experience with data loss, and failure of our platform, and we have to find ways to prevent further catastrophees from striking in the future. Common ways to avoid this mistake is by reinstalling software, and clearing away potentially unwanted glitches and bugs. Well, reinstalling does fix some problems.

We've just finally got our down laptop running again. We have to order a new part to replace an OEM adapter because, we believe defective parts are the known issue when using our laptop.

Unfortunately, our old Chromebook is slowly going out, but we are using it to run other apps like rewardable apps that can still work. However; we do have a plan to replace our old Chromebook with a newer version as a way to stay in production.

We are experiencing issues with our machines at home, and a screen-reader what we're currently using is not working right. We are planning on getting ourselves a new set of machinery for our production of our content. We are doing our best to keep ourselves up and running.

However, we are still able to develop our text-adventure games on our arcade section of our website. That way; you can play text-based games as we try to figure out if our current machines are working right, or in some cases, our machines has been technically totalled. Since our machines are still kind of down, we have to use an app to write content to our own website, and we have to find ways to keep our visitors entertained. Are you just curious why we are relying on an app for writing content? Here's why we're relying on an app as a backup:

We are experiencing difficulties with our equipment when typing long post on our primary website

We experienced a bug that caused a screen-reader to reach a limit of 1800 words when writing long content. Our other computer isn't able to catch up with our fast typing, and our older machine needs to be rebuilt,--so we can write content on our desktop as a alternate source.

We are still finding ways to keep our productive work going, and we are still finding ways to resolve this issue, we filed a bug,--regarding a screen-reader on our Android device what we're currently using to write content on our website.

We have to update some of these posts, these posts, and even pages are receiving periodic updates to update older content for readers to view our content like a book; we are still trying to reach 10,000 words as we try to write long posts to please our readers. The main site is still being refactored to rewrite all of the content previously published on a previous blog, just like where you're actually at! But don't panic... this is just a status blog.

We Haved Moved To A New Server

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy has been moved to a new server because, are relying on VPS server because we had a plan to host our own community, and our own blogging platform. Since Fairies Dreams & Fantasy needs more room to expand, and provide new content.

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy used to be on a shared server, we moved to a VPS server because, we have a plan to host our videos without any effort. We're still have a plan to ditch YouTube, and host our own videos on our own website to keep control of our videos.

As for today... we had removed ads from our status website to allow visitors on our blog to get key updates of our sites what we run without these ads spying on you, and causing issues.

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy (Main Story) Gets Some Hot Edits to Fix Problems With Posts Being Written As Chapters In A Book

All Posts will be receiving hot fixes to fix common problems with our content. But due to the problem with my computer itself... I have to take extreme editing efforts to get my posts updated in order. That means, these posts on our main site will be updated constantly,--for the purpose of slowing down our content being published with extremely long posts that will be published in the later date.
What does it mean for some readers and users on our website?
By the next time you are browsing our website, and reading our content... we will be constantly creating newer posts to read via a later date, that will remove some difficulties from our writing experience.
These hot edits may take some time for us to establish a fully-updated website. It may take some efforts, but thanks for your patients! We'll update this post to let you know if we resolved any of these errors of our storylines of our content. We'll also try to edit our work as we can to keep our first ever written project updated with new content, new posts, and new stories what we're trying to write from the ground up.

Current attempts to write long posts

11/13/17 Update

We added the another post that is slid into the very starting point of Fairies Dreams & Fantasy (Main Story). We've made it to Chapter 0.4. And we're not giving up on our fictional stories. We have many posts to go to fix up all of the choppy stories that is not stable, and long to read. We're trying to make our posts as long as possible. We managed to add the another chapter. The good news is: we're using a 2-in-one tablet to write our content offline. This is necessary for us to keep in production of our work on our website.

We also did some little edits to our previous posts to fix up some paragraphs that are either too long, or too short.

We're proud to announce we are relying on a new kind of CAPTCHA by using a new plugin on our WordPress multisite. This powerful plugin what we're using is going to help keep comment spammers out of our websites. Okay, if you don't know what is invisible CAPTCHA is... its a plugin that enables you to block all comment spam at its source.

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy has also evolved into a multisite as a way to further sort content,--this is our method to unclutter our website,--after we moved from this original blog what you're currently at. This form of cleanup is still in progress,--after we have reviewed our content what we just posted on our website. We also brought our color scheme with us for the purpose of keeping our style matched to our new website.

What Does It Mean To Legitimate Commenters

By the next time you comment on our websites,--whether if you were sending thoughts about our content, or a question. It will be easier for you to comment without needing to fill in the fields via varification.

This is why we implemented this feature:

We've Experienced A downTime On Our Site & the Fix Is Applied

To all users of Fairies Dreams & Fantasy:

We discovered our website has gone down at 12:00. We're not sure why our site; fairiesdreamsfantasy.com/ has experienced a downtime. We went to the support center to chat with a pro. We provided more info about our difficulties.

What the experts said; they found the problem with the plugin; Simple Ajax Chat. This plugin was defective because, it must've caused our site to go down. Here's what we just did to further resolve a problem with our site:

We navigated to our plugins directory, and deleted the plugin,--after we deactivated it from our site. Maybe this plugin has been left untouched for years.

Right now; this problem has been resolved. And our site is ready to visit, and signup.

Sometimes we have to get used with downtimes when our hosts have our sites in their servers under maintenance.

There are some reasons some sites may have a downtime:

Web-hosting companies often update/upgrade servers to enable faster performance for their sites. They change many units to keep their sites running smoothly. They change hard disks, memory, processors, and they often change circuit boards. Cause servers get hot in server rooms; they often run Air-Conditioners to keep their server rooms cool, even during the scorching summer days. There's no windows in a server room like most hosts who set servers to run in the dark environment. Most shared hosting has multiple sites in one server, maybe 1 site per disk.
Sometimes power outages can make your site go down. Power upgrades are necessary to make hosting run in low power.
Maintaining your server is kind of like home maintenance. Servers at home need to use dedicated power supplies to keep them going. Most web-hosts often use them to keep their customer's sites running.

I'm proud to announce our new site where Fairies Dreams & Fantasy has moved successfully to our new web-hosting service that is free of pollution. We moved to our new website: fairiesdreamsfantasy.com. The reason why we moved to our new website because, We're trying to get further control with our content. We chosen to move to Wordpress because, it's an open-source platform. However; we'll keep our older blog running.

Did you Notice we changed the Title of our older blog to Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Status? We're clearing these old and unviewed posts for making room for our status posts. That enables you to find out what's new with Fairies Dreams & Fantasy. for example; fixes to our content, site updates, new features that you never discovered before.

Our newer version of our site has the first ever features:

Removed footer ads, and replace it with a PayPal donation button. Why we implemented this button, so users can support our new blog to keep it going.
Relies on a light text on a dark background, just like our legacy blog. Our newer blog has this same format, but different.
Like our posts on this legacy blog, we imported them to make it easier for us to edit, and update older posts, such as Fairies Dreams & Fantasy (Main Story) gets some updates, and a makeover to our story. This is necessary for our site to have better content.
We've learned to use shortcodes to add function to our site, and we learned to use plugins to add functions to our site. Added Creative Commons Licenses to our posts to keep Fairies Dreams & Fantasy Free to Reuse.

We're still constructing our new front page. We're building the spotlight for some readers of our website to quickly enter our common topics of our blog. We've planned to offer premium content, butt premium content will be coming soon,--after we had finished our front page of our site.

We've cleaned up parts of our blog to remove unwanted posts, and pages to keep our site on topic. We tried our best to varify if our website is getting new visitors each day. But we have to restart from scratch.

We've also established our new Sitemap for some users who wanted to find some posts on our site. Our site Also has an updated Privacy Policy page, and a banner that notifies some users around the world,--telling them our site uses cookies.

Notable issues with Fairies Dreams & Fantasy on Blogger:

Fairies Dreams & Fantasy isn't able to install paywalls on Blogger blogs because, there's no way for us to built a paywall to hide premium content.

If our blog is deleted for spam, but our blog is not spam; that will be a disaster for some readers. We have to move to the new platform earlier as possible to protect our independence.

Like most free blogging platforms; they're subject to flaws, and limitations.

All posts that were imported to Wordpress will be cleared from this blog,--so we can publish status posts for some readers who were wondering about our blog.
