It’s hard to believe that 3 years have passed since I first went out on my own and opened Fairlie Agency. I have worked with some talented people over the last 3 years. Successfully taken unknown, non-union talent and helped to get them their full union status. Talent working on feature films, TV shows and commercial campaigns. We’ve had talent with films at major festivals including Cannes & Sundance and are the first ever agency to open a Social Media Division.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported Fairlie Agency over the past 3 years.

Indelible is the story of intersecting lives at the rundown Maple Motel. Jaynar, a young refugee from the other side of the world, arrives with her father but is too scarred by her memories to venture beyond their room. Jordan is the son of the racist motel owner (Charlene McAnoy) and in vigil for his own losses. He spends his day searching the empty rooms for anything the motel’s guests leave behind, but the day he discovers Jaynar the uneasy equilibrium of the motel begins to quietly shift. Together the two children find a way to tell each other their stories, freeing not only themselves but those around them too – if only for a little while.

Indelible has been accepted into the following film festivals:

Sean Ward was invited to return for 2010 as host of the Toronto Independent Music Awards. The ceremony took place on July 23 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre with performances from last year’s winners, featuring a headline performance by The Ruby Spirit (formerly Sadie May Crash)

Casting Notice: Music Video

Fairlie Agency is assisting Hail The Villain with casting their next music video for Runaway.

Auditions: Wed. June 30 at Rune Entertainment – 14 Connell Court, Toronto

Submission Deadline: 3:00pm Tues. June 29.

Shoot: Greenscreen shoot with Asian girls for partial day only. Set for July 5^th. On location shoot will take place at night with all villains and asian girls. Date TBD.

Rate: $350 including agency.

ROLES

Asian Twins / Nurse Assassins: Female / 15-30 yrs. / Japanese / Non-ACTRA. Must be physically fit (able to run).

Villains: Male / 16-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity / Non-ACTRA. Must be physically fit and able to run as this is for a chase sequence.

Fairlie Agency talent Adam Booth hosts the “All or None” Cabaret Fundraiser – Come on out this Wednesday, June 2nd to Clinton’s Tavern (693 Bloor Street West) at 8pm for a night of music, stand up comedy, and a change to win big in the 50/50 draw! We will be raising money for the 2010 Fringe Festival production “All or None” (Written by Andrew Hanna and Kristoffer Pedlar). Proceeds will go towards rentals, stage design, and promotions. $8 tickets available from cast and crew, or $10 at the door. Come on out and support the arts!

It’s that “now or never” time in their relationship. Sam does what any good man should do: he buys a ring and gets down on one knee. Mickie is left to ponder the meaning of the ring around her finger. What starts as a moment of love and excitement quickly turns to panic.
