We would all like sunny days all the time. But life is filled with struggles and difficulties. Jesus knows about our struggle, he experienced those same struggles, he went to the cross. He didn't want to do that, yet he remained faithful to God and did his will.

We are all sinners, we cannot stand before God on our own and we have to realize we are spiritually bankrupt. But Jesus paid the price for our sins, if we truly seek Jesus and accept him we too can belong to God Kingdom.

Jesus may have been put to death on a cross, but death could not hold him, on the third day he arose again, this time in glory. Death could not hold Jesus. We all will experence death, the question is what will become of us? If we accept Jesus as our savior, do his will, we live again, with him in heaven.

Jesus was rejected by the Jewish leaders, he did not fit their example of a king. So they nailed him on a cross. What about you, are you also rejecting Jesus because he does not fit you idea of a savior and friend?
